Her eyes darted between her father and her mother. Another staring contest, fun.

Her mothers green eyes staring into her father's icy blue ones.

Y/n just stood up and carefully walked out of the compound kitchen and into her room and saw Peter already there and she sighed, kicked her slippers off and jumped onto him, since he was laying on his bed and snuggled into his side.

"Hi Peter man." She said teasingly and earned an audible groan from him.

"Why are you calling me that..." he mumbled and wrapped his arms around her body and let her snuggle into him.

He had learned that snuggling was her way of coping with her past in the Red Room, a way to learn that physical contact can be okay.

"Because it's funny, Spider Parker." She giggles and looked up at him with her soft Y/e/c eyes and looked into his warm and comforting brown eyes.

But he can't be mad, he never wanted to not be snuggling her.

But that doesn't mean he can't get annoyed by her.

He groans loudly and rolled over on top of her, earning a loud 'Oomf' from her.

He laid on top of her, putting his whole body weight on her.

"Oh you asshole." She groans and he chuckles as he laid on her.

"C'mon, you enjoy it, don't lie." He said cheekily, and he put his hands on her stomach. His hand going her her shirt a bit, he felt her scars...but they made her fucking beautiful to him.

She rolled her eyes and held him tightly.

"Shut up..." She mumbled into his hair as he had his face in the crook of her neck. He giggles and traced her scares lightly, his rough and calloused hand on the scar tissue felt delicate.

He felt to coolness of her right bionic hand on the nape of his neck, people would beget all weird by it, but like how Natasha was with Bucky, he saw through the arm and just the person, the person whom they both truly love.

It was dinner time, all of the Avengers were sitting down eating.

And dinner always consisted of Bucky and Sam Arguing, Tony wiggling his eyebrows at Peter, Natasha glaring at Tony, Wanda reading the teens minds and giggling, Loki not caring for the young Peter but always giving encouraging smiles to Y/n, Thor not knowing whats going on, Bruce not caring really, Steve trying to calm down Bucky and Sam, Clint not caring and trying to eat, Somehow Vision even knows the love between Y/n and Peter.

In a nutshell it was normal until Pietro started something quiet interesting...

"Peter, Y/n?" He asked, his accent thick as he stood up. Everyone raised their eyebrows s he grabbed a fistful of pasta and threw it at Y/n.

"I declare, a food fight."

Everyone's eyes widen and Thor immediately threw garlic bread at the speedsters face. Tony lets out a cackle and threw a meatball at Steve's face.

Then a war had begun. Peter and Y/n had hid under the table with cookies in hand as the adults were throwing pasta all over each other.

Y/n giggles and Peter sighed and looked at her, her delicate features. And she turned and they made eye contact

And that was when it felt as if everything slowed down. Their eyes looking into one another, and they just felt so connected. And slowly, inch, by inch they leaned in... and they got so close, that only their noses touched.

He could smell her perfume, the addicting coffee, lavender and vanilla.

She was just addicting to him.

His left hand went to her cheek and the back of her neck, inching closer and closer...

Then Thor lifted the table up, and the two pulled away quickly and sh threw a cookie at him and jumped up, then helped Peter up, their faces bright red. Now, EVERYONE knew.

But, being the two hopeless idiots they didn't.

"Man of spiders! Lady of Metal Arms! I have found you!" Thor boomed happily and gave a knowing grin and wiggled his eyebrows in very, very obvious way.

Y/n was currently on her bed, with her mother, Wanda and Pepper stopped by to see what she missed since she missed dinner.

"You two almost kissed?!" Pepper yelled and Wanda shushed her and Natasha sighed.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y, can you sound proof the room?" Natasha said to the AI and the room became sound proof.

Natasha takes a deep breath then she started.

"Y/n Rebecca Barnes, you have to tell him you like him!" She yelled and stood up and started pacing while she spoke to her daughter.

"If you don't tell him he will never know!" Pepper nodded and added to Natasha.

"It is so clear he is in love with you!" Wanda nodded and also added.

"You know, I have never felt so much love for a person then he does for you..."

Y/n sighed and rubbed her temples and laid back on her bed, and groans, the metal of her hand helping her nerves.

But little did she know, that in Peters room. There was all of the boys trying to comfort a very, very anxious spider.

"Kid, if she didn't like you should would have pulled away or not lean in at all." Steve sighed and Bucky just looked uncomfortable.

Tony puts his hand on his shoulder and said.

"You should have made out with her quicker-"

"Stark! Do you forget that she is my daughter?" Bucky snapped and Tony chuckled and whispered to Peter.

"Don't forget about Papa-Bear." And Steve sighed as he had to restrain his childhood best friend.

"B-Buck! Don't you dare make me get Natasha." Steve said firmly and Bucky stopped and whispers.

"You wouldn't dare to get Natalia." He seethed out and Steve sighed and yelled.

"Natasha! Bucky is trying to kill another Stark."

Tony grimaced and everyone else had to stifle down a laugh. And Bucky just rolled his eyes as Natasha walked in and started speaking in rapid Russian with Bucky.

"Seriously, James? What did he do this time?" Natasha asked in Russian.

"He was talking about how he should have made out with our daughter earlier!" He responded.

All she did was let out a small chuckle and said.

"He has a point, James."

"Natalia, no."

"Natalia yes."

He scoffed and rolled his eyes as she dragged him out of the room and eventually all of the others walked out as well. After a few minutes, Y/n sneaked into his room, like usual, in her pajamas and snuggled into his side.

Something they do nightly, his arms around her waist and he face in his chest as she listens to his heart beat.

"Peter..?" She mumbled softly into his chest and he looked down at her and whispered.

"Yeah, princess?" She looked up and sighed as she nuzzled into him more.

"I'm scared..." she mumbled and he sighed and held her tightly.

"The nightmares?"

She nodded and he thought for a moment and he got close to her ear and whispered.

"You wanna stay with me?" She looked up and nodded, solace was what she needed.

He smiles and moved her so she could get under the sheets and blankets, he practically engulfed her with blankets and himself.

She giggles and nuzzled into his chest and mumbled.

"Good night, Peter man."

He didn't roll his eyes but he kissed her forehead and whispered.

"Good night, Stargirl." She blushed a deep magenta when he said her hero name, and when he kissed her forehead.

Lord he knew how to make her melt like a candle.

And just like that, she fell asleep.

In the arms with the one, and only guy she wants.

But the nightmares of her getting choked by The Winter Soldier and his metal arm will always come.

Remembers when you briefly mention it one time that you wanted to carve pumpkins this year

Will go buy all the things needed, without you asking

Lays everything out to surprise you with when you get home

Makes sure to put newspaper under the entire area for an easy cleanup

Prefers to just watch you do it to see the smile on your face, but will join in if you ask

Is one to do a more simple design

You convince him to put on halloween music after you argue that there are more halloween songs other than Thriller and the Monster Mash

Takes the seeds and starts to cook them as you’re carving

Puts the finished pumpkins facing outwards on the windowsill for the city to see

Places tea lights in them so they light up when it’s dark out

Cleans up everything after you’re done and doesn’t let you help

Gets distracted by the music and takes a lot longer to finish the carvings than it probably should have

Carves more pumpkins than you have the room for

Ends up finding random places to put them all

Goose ends up knocking one of the pumpkins down and smashing it, so that solves some of the problem

The most excited out of everyone

Will plead with her mom to use their kitchen and get the things needed to carve

Finally gets her to agree when she promises to do chores for a week and to clean up everything after

Ends up carving the Captain Marvel logo into one of the pumpkins

Her brother comes over to visit and you all end up throwing seeds and pumpkin guts at each other

Gets the week of chores she said she would do doubled to two weeks when you both don’t see a clump of seeds that was left under one of the counters

Will try to suck up to her mom so she’ll let her do it again next year, who will get tired of her daughter following her around everywhere and just agree

She immediately regrets it

𝑩𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒚 𝑩𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒔

Used to carve pumpkins with his sisters

Would be the one to supervise all of them to make sure no one got hurt

His siblings would make fun of the outcome of his pumpkin when he was rushing to get one done from helping the other girls with theirs

Is happy when you ask him to carve with you

You have to show him how to use certain tools because some are different from when he used to do it

Has to remember how to carve again as he hasn’t done it in decades

Has a smile on his face the whole time from the memories

Gets embarrassed when you catch him just watching you carve as he was used to watching his siblings do it

The end product turns out better than they usually did

Picks different places around to put the pumpkins

Competes with Kamala with how excited he is to carve

Will get all the things needed for it and more things you don’t

Goes on a tangent about how you guys need the other stuff in order to make the most out of it

Ned it behind him the entire time shaking his head and shrugging his shoulders at you

Eventually lets you guys start to carve

His pumpkin doesn’t turn out as great as he was expecting it to

He spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out how to make it better all while Ned was just laughing at it

His wasn’t any better

Becomes a competition on who made the better pumpkin and they force you to be the judge

You don’t pick a side and just continue to innocently carve your pumpkin

However you at some point have to step in to break up the argument as they hadn’t let up after almost a half hour

You force them to make it a draw and to help you clean the mess that they made

𝒀𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒂 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒂

With her upbringing she’s never really carved pumpkins before

She’s hesitant when you bring it up, but agrees wanting see what it’s like

She’s excited like Peter and Kamala, but will try to play it cool

You can tell she’s excited when she starts grabbing different things, letting a smile out on her face

Is surprised when the inside is messy

Can’t clean the inside that well with the scraping utensil and ends up just grabbing the guts with her hands and pulling it out that way

You get her some basic stencils to use to get the hang of it

She says the basic ones are boring so will try and do one of the more complex designs

Tears start coming out of her eyes as she laughs at how bad the design comes out

Ends up having to go back to the easier designs

𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕 𝑴𝒖𝒓𝒅𝒐𝒄𝒌

Doesn’t see the point in you wanting him to try and carve a pumpkin, it’s not like he’ll be able to see it

Makes an attempt to carve one anyway

Has to stop when his senses go into overdrive by the smell and the feel of the guts and seeds mashed together

Feels bad for not being able to do it for longer with you

You reassure him that it’s completely fine and it’s not his fault his senses were sensitive

He talks with you through the whole process though

But it’s across the room because the smell is a lot milder over there

You don’t mind because at least you still get his company

You end up lighting a small candle for him so the potent smell of the pumpkin leaves the air

He says the scent relaxes him even though you would think that the smell would also be overwhelming for him, but you can visibly see him relax more, taking his glasses off with a small smile etched on his face as you work.

𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐟𝐟

Just smiles at you when you show up with pumpkins and all the carving material for them

Gets straight to work with setting up and preparing

Ends up making a very complex and precise design

You stare in awe at the finished product and she just shrugs it off like it’s nothing, but you can see a slight smirk on her face

You accidentally fling some of the pumpkin guts from yours onto her and she takes it as a challenge

You both end up having to clean the entire room of guts and seeds by the end of it

While picking up sections she continues to throw scraps at you so it takes longer to clean than it should have

You carve with her and her boys

She makes sure to get extra utensils and pumpkins when if the boys end up breaking things

She has to supervise the competition that they make into who can carve the best pumpkin

You continue to carve by yourselves when she ushers the boys to bed

You chat, quietly, as you finish up the designs you’re making

Decorates the porch with all of the pumpkins carved

Uses magic to make the pumpkins look like they’re glowing 24/7 and also so they’ll last until after Halloween

You clean up everything together at the end when it’s all finished

Not all of these characters should necessarily be equally prominent; that would be impossible. But I think they all should have, at the very least, a small yet significant part in the story.

I think the Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, and former Avengers and Guardians should split up, mix and match to introduce interesting new group dynamics. Carol and Yelena should each fill the roles for Kamala and Kate, respectively, that Tony filled for Peter. Scott and Thor should each continue to look after their respective daughters, Cassie and Love, as best they can.

Strange, Clea, Agatha, Wanda, Billy, and Wong should be forced to work together to combat the mystical elements of Doom’s threat.

Loki, Sylvie, Wade, Logan, and Laura should all factor into the time-travel/multiverse aspects of the situation.

Adam, America, Billy, Cassie, Kamala, Kate, Laura, Love, and Tommy should all gradually grow into their own across the two movies and essentially embody hope for the next generation.

Ideally, the main characters should be those who are long-established so they can get proper swan songs and send-offs (i.e., Bruce, Bucky, Peter, Sam, Strange, Thor, Vision & Wanda.) These 8 should all serve as leaders within whatever group(s) they land in and ultimately pass the torch.

My ideal Avengers: Secret Wars cast

I definitely believe at least a few of the aforementioned characters will die in Doomsday. (My money is on Bruce, Bucky, Groot, Hank Pym, Janet, Rocket, and Wong.) At least one of the death scenes should feature Rio/Death taking their souls away.

In addition, I don’t feel Secret Wars would be complete without at least cameo appearances by:

The Stark Estate is always the looming house on the hill as the SUV approaches the large iron gates. The brick mansion is mostly covered in vines and plants, much to Pepper’s dismay. Anthony thought it gave the 20s-built house character and a homey feel so the vines were left along with the ridiculous amount of landscaping that lined the driveway. Bucky resists the urge to roll his eyes at the blatant display of wealth as the SUV rolls down the driveway to the main house. Scott is the one to meet the men, standing with his arms crossed in front of him. The SUV slows to a stop beside him and Bucky gets out of the driver’s seat. 

“The others in position,” Scott asks him as Bucky adjusts his black jean jacket to conceal his holster and gun better. 

“Yep, yours?”

Scott nods while the two walk into the house. While Pepper may not have any say about the outside, she took full advantage of changing every little detail inside to fit her taste. White and marble covered every inch of the 20,000 square foot home, a stark difference from the industrial and wood feel of Bucky’s house. It reeked of cold indifference as they walked up the same stairs Doll nearly cracked with anger that day. Scott pushes open the heavy doors, letting the other man enter the room first. 

As usual, Anthony is seated at his desk however without his normal crowd of men in black. Thor and Loki are reclining on the couches, guns completely on display due to their relaxed posture. A younger man, who he assumes is the new recruit Peter Parker is standing off to the side of Anthony. 

“You brought a kid?” Bucky tries to hide the disgust in their voice when he sits in the same chair he had during that meeting. 

“He’s not a kid and you didn’t bother to dress for the occasion,” Anthony, however, doesn’t even bother to cover his disapproval at Bucky’s outfit. 

Leveling a blank stare at the other man, he speaks again “We’re not here to do business.”

Anthony rolls his eyes dramatically, making a show of it as he gestures to Scott to come over. He says something about the ETA of John to which Scott tells him he’s at the gates before leaving the room. 

“What’s the status of your team?” He turns to his son-in-law. 

“Waiting for my cue.”

“Good good. How about my daughter?”

“Safe.”

“Wow, I forgot how quiet you are,”  he widens his eyes in annoyance, “Anyways when John gets here, I don’t want you to speak. Let me handle it and if I need you to step in, I’ll let you know.”

“Fine by me,” a hardened expression takes on his face as he rests his hands together in between his spread legs. 

John’s voice echoes up the marble staircase as Bucky’s phone rings. 

“Buck we have a problem.”

Nat had promised Doll that his meeting would only last a couple of hours and that it was just a business meeting. 

“I swear it’s just a meeting that’s all.”

“He took his gun,” Doll is trying not to panic, however with his injury and their developing closeness, it’s getting harder and harder to stop it. 

“He takes it everywhere.”

“But this is different, I can feel it. He didn’t tell me where he was going and he always tells me.”

Nat takes her by the shoulders and stops her pacing, “Do you really want to know?”

She pushes the other woman’s hands off of her, “Obviously.”

“If I tell you, will you promise to stay here until he gets back?” she demands as she sits down on the living room couch. 

Doll takes a seat as well while nodding her head. 

“He set up a meeting with John at your dad’s house to get him to cut his bullshit and to get your mom. Steve and Sam are headed in to get her as we speak.”

“Natasha what the fuck?” she jumps off the couch, yelling at Nat, “why didn’t you tell me?”

“Because I knew this is how you were going to react. Now sit your ass back down. They’re going to be back in like an hour.”

Doll’s phone goes off, the ringtone specifically set for Morgan and she answers it in confusion, “Hey Mo Mo, what’s up?”

“Sissy help! He’s hurting everyone,” Morgan’s small voice is full of terror as she whispers into the phone. 

“Mo Mo what’s going on?”

“John, he's hurting everyone. Sissy, please help!”

She looks at Nat with frightened eyes, “Where are you? Are you hiding?”

“I’m hiding in Daddy’s closet,” she cries into the phone. 

She gestures to Nat to stand up as she holds the phone between her head and shoulder, “Okay Mo Mo, stay there and don’t make a sound okay? Do not open the door unless it’s Daddy, Mommy, or Scott. I’m coming.” 

Hastily shoving her feet into her torn vans, she throws a pair of keys to Nat and points to the door, “Start the car and call Bucky. Shit is going down.”

“Buck we have a problem.”

“Do I even want to know?”

“She’s not here.”

“What do you mean she’s not there?” 

Sam shutters from the other line, “The woman we saw isn’t her. She says she’s a housekeeper and that Walker forced her to dress up as Marianne and stay in her room until he came and got her.”

“Fuck, get out and get over here,” Bucky hangs up the phone as John bursts into the room dragging the woman in question beside him. Blood is dripping from her eyebrow and her lip no doubt from where he hit her. Bruises are starting to form on her face and arms as she drops to the floor when John lets go of her arm. Thor and Loki jump to their feet, guns drawn and pointed at the man. 

“Gentlemen! What a lovely fucking surprise,” he exclaims, holding Marianne by the hair, “Imagine my surprise when Scott here told me that I was being set up and I found your two buddies lurking around my house.”

Anthony stands but the sudden movement is not welcomed by the furious man and he pulls his own gun on the woman beside him.  

“Sit down or I’ll shoot sweet Marianne,” the threat causes her to start crying and begging for her life as she claws at the hand holding her hair, “Shut the fuck up.”

Anthony does as he’s told and sits down. Bucky’s chest rises and falls at a steady pace, the soldier and mercenary in him remaining calm even when the room is up in arms. He rubs his eyebrow in mild annoyance that the meeting went south so quickly. He expected that this would happen, just not so quickly. Scott, on the other hand, is frozen by the door after being caught double-crossing his boss. 

“Thor and Loki sit,” John demands of the two brothers. 

Thor glances back to Anthony who gives him a nod and a dismissive wave. A shot rings out and is followed by a thud. Bucky glances over his shoulder to see that Scott is the one hit. Footsteps and shuffling are heard from behind him as the two brothers collect the body and take it out of the room. Looking forward again, he can see the disgusted and sickened face of Peter who hasn’t moved an inch since this whole thing started. 

“Peter, go find my wife and daughter,” Anthony directs the young man. 

He doesn’t move at first but Anthony saying his name sharply snaps him back to reality as he rushes out of the room to find the two other Stark family members. Marianne cries out again as John rips her up to her feet and forces her to sit in the chair next to Bucky. 

“Care to explain what the real reason for this meeting was?” John sneers at the two men, eyes rapidly shifting between them. 

Taking a deep breath and shifting his feet slightly so they’re more solid on the ground, Bucky speaks, “It was to ask you to leave my wife and her mom alone however objectives have changed.”

“Enough with the cryptic nonsense, start talking,” he shoves the gun into the woman’s hair, releasing another cry for help. 

“Let her go and we can.”

“No.”

“I’m not going to ask again,” Bucky rolls his shoulders and shifts to the edge of his chair. 

“Then don’t,” he moves his attention to Anthony, “And you. I can’t believe you would help him with all of this. I had to go through Scott to find all of this out.”

Anthony licks his lips, “He is married to my daughter so I felt obligated to help.”

John lets out a downright evil laugh, “Obligated? You felt obligated? That’s fucking hilarious. I think you wanted to cut me out of the deal and saw your opportunity.”

“So what?” the older man shrugs his shoulders at the accusation. 

“If you felt so obligated to help your family then you would try and stop me if I shot Marianne?”

“No, she’s not my family.”

“You’re not going to shoot her. You are going to let her go though,” Bucky clears his throat and aims his stare at John. 

The constant demands are starting to wear down his resolve and his finger grows restless on the trigger. Taking out all three of them right now would solve all of his problems. Taking out all three would bring back his sweetheart and he could have her all to himself. The decision is made for him when three shots crack out and three loud thuds hit the floor. 

“Fuck, get out and get over here.”

Sam curses under his breath as he pockets his phone and waves Steve over from his search of the bedroom. 

“Buck said to head to the Stark estate. John took her with him.”

“Shit,” Steve curses before turning to the housekeeper, “Go home, pack your stuff, and get out of here.”

She nods quickly while crying and takes off out of the room. The two men reupholster their guns and leave the room. They swiftly exit the house and climb into their SUV, speeding off to the Stark Estate. 

“I have a bad feeling about this,” Sam tells the man to his side as he races through the city streets. 

“Me too. Did he say anything else?”

“Not just that we needed to get over there. Do we have a first aid kit?”

Steve reaches behind the driver’s seat and pulls a backpack to the front. Opening it, he digs through it until he finds the kit.

“I hope you’re wrong,” he says, shoving the kit back in and putting it at his feet. He pulls his gun out and checks his clip before checking the rest of the clips attached to his tactile vest. 

“Me too, man, me too.”

Nat refused to let Doll drive, insisting that she could get them there faster and in one piece. Morgan had hung up the phone before they left in fear that John would hear her voice and find her. She promised to answer when her sister got there and called her to get her out. The phone rings over the car’s speakers and she smashes the answer button when she sees that it’s Sam calling. 

“Nat get her out of New York. We’re here and shit isn’t looking good.”

“What the fuck do you mean?” Doll says with an eerily calm voice. 

“Shit, where is Nat?”

“Here.” “Please tell me you’re not on your way here,” the stress of the situation is draining his energy. 

“Morgan called me crying that John was hurting people. She’s hiding in our parent’s closet. Do you know where their room is?” 

“Do not go in until we can meet you. Nat, make sure she stays put until we have eyes on you and Bucky,” Steve’s voice is harsh and authoritative as he takes over the call, “Doll I need you to answer me.” 

“Yes I won’t go in until I see you or Sam,” she begrudgingly answers, slouching into the car seat. 

“Good see you guys in a few,” he hangs up the phone. 

“Do you have an extra gun?” She asks, opening the glove compartment and riffling through it. 

“No close that,” Nat slams it shut, “you’re not going in.”

a/n: Hello, my Fabulous Readers! Would you like to take a trip down Memory Lane with me? Boy, do I have a treat for y'all...

When I was just starting to write my fanfics 8 - 9 years ago, before I fell into major Writer's Block, and went on my forced Hiatus, I wrote this fic for a good friend. Because back then, she drew Steve fanart for me, and I wrote Loki fics for her.

Fast forward to this year, I'm looking through my old notes in my notes apps, low and behold I find a handful of fic ideas and half-written, unfinished fics. And honestly, young me literally had the best fic ideas 😆 I realize that they're basically my very own Vaults! They couldn't have came on a better time, when I want to connect to my younger self, and remember what it was like, when life wasn't as complicated.

Ofcourse, it's not completely the original story, present me needed to polish the rough patches in the story, because specific timeline when this was written, was roughly somewhere before Endgame after Infinity War...😅 And I also need to make sure, it's semi-accurate to the current MCU, for my own sake.

But still, I hope y'all will enjoy reading this one, all the same.

It was a typical day for the Avengers in the Avenger Compound. Agents of every kind, rushed here and there, to finish their duties. In one of the lower floors underground, lived the Avengers. Each had their own apartment. But they liked to spend time together, in the common room. And today was no exception.

The room was full of chaos. From the sounds of a certain Captain's daughter crying, because she fell down while attempting to walk, with her doting mother and older brother trying to calm her down, to Peter Parker, Bruce Banner and Dr. Stephen Strange devising a way to make their tactical suits more durable, and more accommodating to the various shapes and sizes each individual, human, alien or super, has.

Lucy Laufeyson is among the chaotic bunch. Born and raised together with James Anthony Rogers, making her pretty much used to everything that happens around here, around her considered-extended family. She'd been living with the Avengers and her Uncle Thor Odinson, in an effort to avoid her Step-Father, Grey Wallace. Well, specifically to avoid hurting, said man.

From the moment her grandmother, from her mother, Y/n Y/L/N's side, had told her that she was to have a Step-Father, she knew that it would take a lot of strength and maturity. For she knew Gray wasn't a good man. He abused her mother and basically, forced her to have his child. Luckily, Lucy could never hate her younger Brother, Greyson. She hated his sperm donor.

Before Loki died, he had written a note to every member of his family. For Thor, Y/n, and especially Lucy. The one for her, specified that he wanted Thor to take his family to New Asgard, where he hoped to be laid to rest.

Once his request was fulfilled, she decided to take her father's name and use it to make a legacy of her own in her new home. Despite this, it didn't stop her from imagining enacting her revenge on Grey. She hated everything he did to her mother, and today is living proof of that.

"Hey James. Nice shield." Lucy smirked, it looks uncannily like her Father's.

"Oh, Lucy... Hi... I-I-I was just borrowing this from Dad." James answered, turning pinker by the minute.

"Calm down, Rogers. I was just teasing." Lucy said, playfully boxing his arm.

"Besides, I'm not here as often as I used to. Just for old times sake."

"Sometimes I wonder how we've been friends, since birth." James sighed.

"Come on... you know you love me, Cap Jr." Lucy smirked again, living for the reaction she gets, from her dear sweet James.

"Excuse me, Ms. Laufeyson, but Ms. Alexa is here." Tony's AI, JAKASTA, said.

"Thanks, JAKASTA." Lucy replied.

"See you later, Rogers." She added, patting the side of his pink face on her way out.

Lucy walked from the training room, through endless hallways, with Agents working and training, as well as the scientist conducting tests and experiments, of all kinds, to the elevator, that will take her down to the Lobby. Her heart leapt with excitement. She always loved seeing her Mother, and her younger Brother, whenever they came for a visit. Preferably without her infamous Step-Father, who in her opinion, descended straight from Hell.

A few minutes later, she arrived at the Lobby, where she knew the people her Family, would be waiting. She pushed open the only door, separating her from the Lobby, and saw her mother for the first time in months. Beautiful but bruised and slightly battered. Loki would hate Grey.

"Mom!" Lucy called.

"Hello Lucy." Y/n replied, looking up from talking to Y/O/N Rogers, her best friend since before meeting the loves of their lives.

Lucy walked a little faster and went to give her mother a gentle but firm hug.

"What am I? A chameleon? Where's my hug?!" Lucy's younger brother, Greyson, asked/exclaimed.

"Hello to you, too, Baby Brother." Lucy smirked, going in to hug her sibling.

"It's always a gem, to see you both together like this!" Alexa cried, tears forming in her eyes.

"We really need to catch up." Greyson said with a smile, taking Lucy's hand.

Sometime later, the family sat in a restaurant downtown, enjoying the food and coffee, while catching up and sharing stories with one another.

"And he just ran and ran and BOOM! Homerun!" Alexa finished, with pride in her eyes as she looked at her son.

"It was nothing, really. Honest." Greyson said, blushing at the attention.

"Changing the subject, how are you and your so-called 'childhood bestfriend, not potential lover', Dear Sister." Greyson teased.

"I told you the last time, Greyson. We're just friends. Nothing more. Nothing less." Lucy replied, as a matter of factly.

"Now, why don't I believe that?" Greyson muttered, under his breath.

"Shut up." Lucy replied, with a playful shove towards him.

"It's so nice to see you both getting along." Alexa said, wistful.

"I would be happier if that lousy excuse of a Step-Father is six feet under and never ever coming back." Lucy commented, scooping up some of her food into her mouth.

"Lucy-" Alexa started, wiping her eyes, before opening her arms towards her daughter.

"I mean it, Mom. He's hurt you enough." Lucy replied.

"Dad wouldn't want this for you..." She added, taking her Mother's hand, and rolling up the sleeve a little to reveal the marks hidden underneath.

"Sorry, Mom. But I agree with Lucy. If he hadn't hurt you, and continued to hurt you, things might've been different." Greyson replied, as Y/n pulled her hand away, and pulled her sleeves down, even further than before.

"I know three days ago wasn't the best wedding anniversary..." She started to explain.

"WHAT THE HELL DID HE DO THIS TIME?!" Lucy exclaimed, her anger boiling up to the surface.

"It's nothing, Lucy." Alexa sighed.

"It isn't just nothing, Mom! It's always something." Lucy raised her voice. Her eyes being drawn to the sleeve that her Mother, so desperately, was using to try to hide the marks from her, earlier.

"This is the last straw! He's been doing this ever since you married him. It needs to stop." Lucy announced, with finality and determination.

"Lucy, no. It's fine. I'm used to it." Alexa replied, unshed tears glistening in her eyes.

"I told you, Mom. He's hurt you enough." Lucy repeated, before standing up.

"I've had enough." She growled, before walking away with purpose and determination, with Y/n's and Greyson's voices calling behind her. Falling on deaf ears.

Grey Wallace was walking from his office building to his car. It had been a long day, and he was looking forward to having a beer when he got home. He was practically skipping down the road, until he felt like someone was watching him, from the shadows. Shrugging it off as paranoia, he continued walking.

He finally arrived at his car, ready to unlock it when he was forcefully, pushed against his car. His arms painfully pinned against his back.

"Who are you? What do you want? If you want my money, take it. I-It's yours." Grey said in a panic, words coming out in quick succession.

"I don't want, nor do I need your money." The figure, behind him, replied.

"Then, w-what do you want?" Grey asked again, shaking to the bone.

"I want justice for my Mother." The figure replied, a sinister smile slowly beginning to form on her face.

"I-I don't even know y-your Mother." Grey cried, before being turned around, and pinned to the side of his car.

"Oh, don't act coy, now... You know my Mother... In fact you know her very well, that you've taken to hurting her for about 5 years, now. Isn't that right, Step-Father?" The figure said, her face coming into the light.

"Lu-Lucy..." Grey gasped, not believing his eyes.

"That's right. And I have come to make sure you'll never lay another hand on my Mother, ever again." Lucy said, before turning into her Jotun form and punching her Step-Father.

Grey's world turned black.

His eyes burst open, and he quickly looked around in a panic. Remembering the terrifying sight of his Step-Daughter, before she knocked him unconscious. He sighed in relief, when he found that he's all alone in his Hospital Room.

"Think you're safe, Step-Father?" Lucy said, appearing out of nowhere.

"Lucy... Lucy... Whatever I've done to you and Y/n, I'm sorry." Grey pleaded.

"You think that's enough?! You think that sorry will take away all you've done to her?! To the both of us?!" Lucy exclaimed, her bright green eyes turning red.

"You're lucky, I only left you with a concussion, and a punctured lung. I would have killed you on the spot, had I not made myself promise Mom not to hurt you too badly." She added.

"Lucy, please I beg you..." Grey begged.

"Oh, now you're begging me." Lucy cackled.

"Like how Mom begged you to let her go, every single hellish night..." She continued, her features slowly changing.

"Lucy, you need help. Y-you don't look well. Y-you're blue!" Grey exclaimed.

"Oh, don't pretend like you care. You never did." Lucy snapped.

"Why are you turning blue?!" Grey shrieked, panicked, his monitor blaring at his increasing heartrate.

"Let me answer your question with this question: Have you ever wondered why we never told you about my birth Father? Why no one ever spoke of him?" Lucy said, lightly caressing the tube that re-inflated his lung.

"Well, the answer is quite simple actually. I'm the daughter of Loki of Asgard." Lucy said, turning full Jotun, and staring right into Grey's eyes.

"Y-You-You're the daughter of Loki Laufeyson, the one who invaded the planet?" Grey asked, trying to scurry away but couldn't. bound to the bed by the very tubes and wires that are helping him.

"Yes. So, if I were you... I'd be glad, that I spared your life. I may seem all sweet and innocent, but trust me when I say this..." Lucy added, slightly squeezing the tube. Blocking it from keeping his lung inflated.

Grey started to feel a tightness in his chest. Unable to catch his breath, from fear, and distress.

"I'm so much worse than my Father. So much worse." Lucy growled. Releasing her grip on the tube.

Allowing Grey to finally able to relax and breathe better and regularly, now.

"You're just lucky I made a promise to my Mother. Had I not, I would have done so much worse." Lucy added, getting up and leaving.

"Leave my Mother alone, or a collapsed lung and concussion won't be the most excruciating thing you'll ever experience." Lucy said, turning back to look at him.

"I give you my word, Step-Father." She added, turning into back her human form, her eyes glowing red for a second before going back to green.

Grey shook with fear, causing Lucy to smirk. And with that, she turned and left.

Lucy walked through the hospital doors and out, before opening a portal in the middle of the driveway and walking through it. Taking her home to New Asgard.

When she stepped out of the portal, her red leather jacket, stripped sleeveless blouse, leggings and boots, instantly turned into a long, green, mermaid style dress with a shimmering light green cape, connected in the back.

Her raven black hair curled, pulled back, half up, half down, and a complicated gold head piece with it. She walked to the kingdom, where everyone who saw her, bowed respectfully.

She made her way into the Palace, where her Keeper eagerly greeted her at the entrance. For a man, who was about 1,000 years old, give or take, he definitely could keep up with Lucy's long strides.

"Your Ladyship! The King has gone to Wakanda on business, but there are some matters of great importance to attend to." The man explained, pointing to the long list of matters, needing her immediate attention.

"I shall deal with all the problems one by one. I want to make sure everything is dealt with, accordingly." Lucy announced, taking a seat on the throne.

"Lady Loki, the people are waiting for you." The court announcer told her.

"Send them in." She answered, as the guards allowed the people to come inside. Which little by little, she solved all of them. Loki's Daughter, Y/n and Greyson's fiercest protector, Asgard's warrior, and Valkyrie's Right Hand, Lady Lucy.

a/n: I hope you all enjoyed it! Despite the errors, and the dark stuff... Maybe this'll lead me to upload other, more worthy fics in the Future.

Thanks for the feedback about the ships!

And thanks to you, I finally know whose the other pairings are gonna be!

-Logan x Mariko x Morph: A polyamorous marriage. Gonna be the adopted parents of Laura and Jubilee. Will also have some biological children as well.

-Ororo x Valkyrie: Married. When they're not fighting in the usual contrived superhero war, Ororo and Thor are portrayed as close friends. In this universe, I could see Thor introducing Ororo to Valkyrie, and the two eventually hit it off and got together. This is even funnier to think about as Thor and Ororo have been portrayed as a couple in a few universes. Plus, Loki has the hots for her. Goes to show just how much of a goddess Ororo truly is.

-Henry x Cecilia: Married.

-Kurt x Pietro: Married. These two are a popular ship, largely thanks to the movies. I could see these two really connecting due to their shared jokey nature.

-Piotr x Lorna: Dating. I've always toyed with these two being a couple. The concept of having a metal man and a metal manipulator being lovers is pretty intriguing. Plus, they would definitely be fighters in arms, being two of the toughest mutants around.

-Bobby x Johnny Storm: Married. These two are a pretty popular ship, and it's not hard to see why. Plus, it's time for Johnny to FINALLY someone to stay with. The rest of the four have, why not him?

-Wren x Betsy: Dating. They were a pairing in the comics, might as well give them a try.

-Emma x Chat: Married. In case you don't know, Chat was a major character from the Marvel Adventures universe.

She was a mutant with the power to talk to animals and was the girlfriend to Peter Parker. Yeah! Not Mary Jane or Gwen! It was her! And believe or not, they were actually good together! She was also best friends with Emma, who in this universe was a teenager around her and Peter's age. But her (apart from being aged up), she's a member of The X-Men and a longtime friend of Peter (which they've been since high school). She's also gone through a secondary mutation, granting her the power to transform into animals. This couple would be classic case of opposites attract. Emma is pessimistic and somewhat anti-social, while Chat is optimistic and a total social butterfly. It would be pretty funny and kinda wholesome to see these two being absolutely in love with each other. Plus it's always nice to see Emma's softer side.

-Angelica x Marvel Boy: They were in the comics, so might as well use them. Unless you got a better option.

So, inspired a bit by Evolution, where Piotr served Magneto (albeit reluctantly in that version) I can see Magneto himself asking Piotr to guard Lorna (she is his youngest, so I imagine he would be more protective of her like in the Wolverine and the X Men cartoon) and as such being responsible for the two being close, Piotr being afraid to tell that he fell for the daughter of who is basically his boss, but Magneto being okay with their relationship if it makes Lorna happy (she has enough heartbreak with Havok).

Kurt was the one more afrayed since he and his friends fought against Magneto for years, and in the proccess Pietro would enjoy the idea of pissing off his dad by dating someone he would hate... but the joke is on him, Magneto actually simpathizes with Kurt, mainly because he laughs of his jokes (the laughs are of nerves and anxiety rather than thinking they are funny, but hey, the Master of Magnetism doesn't need to know that).

Earth X #11

We’re getting really close to the end. Let’s wrap up some subplots while we can.

Before this series began, Black Bolt blinded Uatu the Watcher to conceal his actions and then set off a Terrigen Bomb that mutated all humanity into Inhumanity. He had his reasons.

Uatu recruited Aaron Stack, Machine Man, to be his seeing eye robot. Aaron discovered that Uatu was hiding a dark secret - that inside Earth there is a Celestial egg which will one day hatch and destroy the world.

Humanity has long been manipulated by the Celestials to serve as guardians for the egg. In fact, Uatu claims that everything that makes humans human was just a beneficial trait to make humans evolve the power to protect the world from outsiders and themselves.

A terrible psychic teen known as the Skull has risen up and brought thousands under his control. He shoved President Osborn out a window and plans to take control of everything.

The Skull, too, was part of the Celestial plan. Not that he knew it. Meant to bring the chaotic mutated population under control so in-fighting wouldn’t threaten the planet and the Celestial egg.

Cap raised an army to fight the Skull but failed because he tried a full frontal assault on the guy with mind control powers.

Now the world is basically the Skull’s.

Aaron has flipped Uatu the bird and gone to recruit Reed Richards, telling him all the horrible cosmic egg stuff.

Reed asked Black Bolt for a favor and then went to confront Uatu on the Moon.

He has a lot to talk to him about. Like how Alicia Masters is so cool that she proves humanity would still have worth even if they hadn’t been altered by the Celestial seeds.

Then, Reed realizes that Galactus was the natural balance against the Celestials but whoops, Reed turned him into a star.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Add a tally to the counter. Other stuff would borrow Earth X’s idea that Galactus’ role was to balance out the Celestials.

Peter Parker has suited back up as Peter Parker Spider-Man after seeing his daughter May/Venom in the Skull’s creepy clutches.

Fat Spider-Man is one of the things most known about Earth X.

In all honesty, Peter just has the middle-aged out of shape look. But deciding to wear a Halloween costume that’s many sizes too small isn’t a great look for him.

I don’t even know why he did it. His identity is public. A Halloween costume doesn’t offer any more protection than his civilian clothes they actually fit him do. I feel like this is in here because it was one of the concept sketches. So whether it makes sense or not, Peter has to wear a costume that doesn’t fit.

Honestly, maybe it was to psyche himself up. Let’s just say that’s the case.

Between issues, he has rescued Captain America from the Skull’s forces.

Now that he got his ass kicked again, Steve has an actual plan and goes to visit Thing to borrow Alicia’s living clay sculptures.

The Skull can’t control something that doesn’t have a mind.

And it’s not going to be several issues of globe-trotting to gather forces for a counterattack. Steve already burned through those resources!

On the Moon, Black Bolt attacks the Celestials.

Fruitlessly.

They blow him the hell up.

But his real goal, the favor Reed asked of him, was to use the most powerful voice in the universe to send an SOS from the Moon. Shouted into space.

To who? Dunno. Another mystery for later.

But we learned what favor Reed wanted and that Black Bolt’s face is kinda messed up from his body adapting to the rigors of space so that’s why he started wearing a mask.

Hope that SOS plot thread also gets a prompt resolution. We only have so many issues to go.

And there’s still dangling plot stuff like Mar-Vell or why Loki decided to help Aaron.

Cap vs the Skull gets a round three. The clay sculptures work great since the Skull can’t control them.

But they work best as camouflage.

Disguised as one of the clay statues, Captain America sneaks up on the Skull and breaks his neck.

Bye, the Skull. You were horrible but you were funny.

His particular brand of bratty menace has been stopped but the day is not saved. Actually, the day got worse.

When the Skull dies, the Celestials head towards Earth.

As Uatu explains in the appendix, the Skull was a fail safe to keep the people of Earth from threatening the planet. With him dead, the Celestials are going to wipe out all life on Earth so nobody down there causes more trouble.

(The appendices in this issue are particularly good. Uatu desperately wants to know what’s happening and Reed agrees to tell him if they trade questions and answers. Uatu reveals that the Celestial seed germination comes in different stages. Earth is mostly at stage 1 - just a chaos of different powers being triggered. Mutants, Hulks, Spider-Men, Fantastic Four. And so on. Stage 2 is where the Skrulls are. Homogenization of people and power. Interestingly, Uatu claims Reed himself represents what a stage 2 human would be. Given time, all of humanity would become Mr Fantastics. There’s a stage 3 but Uatu tells Reed to ask Aaron about it.)

Anyway, the Celestials are coming to wipe out all life because Cap broke a kid’s neck.

Luckily, Iron Man has a giant robot he got from Osborn and has been building an army of Iron Men for years to usurp the dude.

He never did it because Tony didn’t want to be in charge but it’s sure handy now that Tony has continued to be Tony. Ridiculously prepared.

Tony fighting Celestials in a giant robot? Another tally for Earth X.
