I'm on a trip with my family this week, so I have plenty of time to work on my OCs and catch up to the expression requests remaining

I had a lot of fun desiging him and his curse (that I took inspiration from filibusterfrog's "Umbralysis") and ended up making a ref sheet of sorts, but I'll still draw his back and some other expressions, other than his little shit smile. I still feel like I can improve him a lot, but I'm impatient and wanted to share him with you.

Personality: Atlas is a very charming and charismatic man, always displaying a pleasant smile, he is a natural entertainer. He is always in a good mood and is very positive, almost as if he doesn't even experience bad emotions…?

Beneath that facade he is arrogant and thinks he is untouchable, and believes his ability is a blessing, rather than a curse. The thing most valuable to him is loyalty, he despises betrayals the most.

He is smart and cunning, and is not afraid to use his ability to get information for his own benefit, though he mainly uses it on people who have been unfaithful.

Curse: Peter Pan

It makes so that Atlas’ shadow can move independently from him. He can know what his shadow experienced while apart from him, allowing him to be “at two places at the same time”, he has full control of the shadow and prefers to use his powers at night, as to not rise suspicion from others.

Atlas also discovered a peculiar characteristic of his ability, he can divide his emotions between him and his shadow, it acting almost as a storage for him. The curse manifested when he was still an infant, so he had some time to figure it out on his own.

One thing Atlas doesn't know is the fate of those afflicted by the Peter Pan’s curse, every single one of them uses their shadow as a way to get rid of "troublesome" or "useless emotions", but as they keep pouring those negative feelings, the shadow begins to gain sentience. In the end it usually kills its owner and itself in the process.

Backstory: When he was little his parents got freaked out by seeing him playing with his shadow, they thought he was cursed, or possessed but nothing they did cured him. What broke the camel's back for them was when Atlas told them the culprit of a series of murders in the neighborhood and days later the police caught them, when his parents asked how he knew, he explained that his shadow had seen it and told him.

Not too long after that they tried to get rid of him, but the church nor the orphanage wanted to accept him, since his complicated background preceded him. Until they found an itinerary circus, they lied and abandoned him there. Most of the crew were kind and welcoming to him, especially Estella, the magician, she became a mother figure for him and the reason he decided to follow her steps and become a magician.

Standing in the middle of that room, standing on the shoulders of giants who have performed there before me, the energy of last night will be forever be engrained in my heart. This has been something that i've been dreaming of putting together for so many years. I've always had the urge to reimagine my songs with an orchestral arrangement and who better to do it with than The Heritage Orchestra. I was spoilt with the best seat in the house. A 53 piece orchestra, a 14 person choir, a 7 person band and me in the middle of it all. An unbelievable night, i'm still pinching myself. Thank you to my team on stage and off for working so tirelessly around the clock. They are the most incredible and the most hardworking in the bizzz for helping me pull this together. Thank you to our conductor for the evening Ben Foster. Thank you to my wonderful, most glamorous friend Elton John for joining me on stage to sing our song together. The roars from the crowd last night I think reverberated throughout London. Thank you to everyone who came to join us last night for this very very very special evening. I feel like I could cry just writing this!!! I wanna do it again again again!!!!

PHOTOSHOOT: MAX FACTOR "VIBRANT COLOUR EFFECT" CAMPAIGN

Marina was photographed by John-Paul Pierus for Max Factor‘s 2011 "Vibrant Colour Effect" campaign, which unfortunately was never released.

The makeup was done by Caroline Barnes while the hair was handled by Peter Lux.

For the first set of photos, Marina's wearing black knitted fringe sleeves from Mark Fast's Spring/Summer 2011 collection.

The London-based Canadian designer is known for his distinctive knitwear that combines intricate, body-contouring techniques with bold cutouts, creating a sculptural, skin-revealing effect. And Marina's pieces by him are definitely the perfect example!

Here, Marina wears yet another Mark Fast design from the very same Spring/Summer 2011 collection. It looks like her pink fringed turtleneck piece is an off-the-runway version of the pictured look!

A super cool piece, we unfortunately only see the sleeve of, is this highly intricate embellished jacket from Arab designer QASIMI’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection!

“It’s based on Byzantine women who have been woken up from a crypt and hauled on to the catwalk” said Al Qasimi about the collection.

For the fourth and final look, Marina changed into this stunning Ashish Spring/Summer 2011 leopard sequin V-neck column gown!

They’re a non-binary changeling Druid/warlock. They often take on the form of a Satyr. They love to learn about the world around them and they adventure frequently! Also, the mushroom hat they wear is what connects them to their undead patron thus they can never take it off :D! Very silly, but also very scary in the right situations.

Chit’al!

An agender thri-kreen monk/sorcerer! Also a reborn god of nature and beauty which is how they got their powers! They’re currently traveling around with a group of adventurers by the names of Lux, Kendell, Saint, and Addie. Chit’al is currently going by the name “The Eternal Lotus” to honor his power and make him seem more powerful than he actually is. The whole group has been through some stuff from becoming enemies of the church because the priestess is evil to getting eaten by a giant purple worm to Addie getting possessed. They’ve always come out on top though, and hopefully as his story continues that’ll stay true :D

Polaris!

Originally born as Peter Parker, Polaris was bitten by a radioactive spider and for ten years has been the one and only Solar-Spider. They’re basically my spidersona and I adore them <3 Also unlike other spider people, Polaris is able to shape shift in a way. They’re able to change from a human form to a spider form and anywhere in between! Their spider form is like an anthro spider with hair covering their body, sharper teeth and claws, and, of course, organic webbing! They still wear a suit though because they like it and when they were first starting out they got knocked out while fighting one time and their identity almost got revealed because they weren’t wearing a suit.
