now that it's november, i've planned to do my best to try and watch one movie a day that my mom enjoyed. tonight was volcano and honestly? natural disaster movies just hit different. november is historically a hard month for me with it being the anniversary of her death, so im hoping to make it at least a little less sad by keeping her memory alive.

Oh btw I don't know if I said, but our kitten got rehomed to a wonderful new place with wonderful new forever parents.

We really wanted him to be our own forever cat however it was just a very very bad time in both our lives and relationship to get a new kitten. It was the wrong choice to adopt him, we did love him and provide the best we could. It wasn't enough. He needed a better life and home than we could give.

It hurts to look at photos of our.. Foster son and know what might have been, but I can't bring myself to even clear them from my phone (they'd be backups still).

Miss ya, Sammi boy. The new owner occasionally posts a photo but it's rare.
