Greetings and Salutations, everyone! Allow me to properly introduce myself.

My name is Zeisty King — aka the random individual behind this silly little blog! I mainly go by just Zeisty, though (seeing as I treat the "King" part as a surname).

My main goal for this blog is to doodle Siffrin from In Stars and Time (as well as other characters sometimes) so I can get used to a new tablet and set up, while also having fun with it!! Hence why I named this blog the way I did and why I don't mind calling the art I post here "messy," especially considering half of them are sketches anyway!

I may make mistakes from time to time and some results may be wonky, but that's okay! It's all a part of the learning process!! And is not limited to forgetting how anatomy works; I put two hands on the wrong way in one post once and I have to accept the fact I did that.

STORY TIME!!!!

So i think a girl in my drama class was flirting with me today but idk. Here’s the story:

Today I was wearing fishnets and a dress cuz it was formal friday at my school. So in drama I’m sitting in the black bow on a chair and my friend was sitting on the floor next to me. She noticed i was wearing fishnets and said if she wore them she’d get so distracted because they are fun to play with. She started sapping the fishnets against my calf. Then she starts rubbing my calf because she claims that the fishnets are soft. My other friend was on the floor next to the friend playing with my tights and another friend was sitting next to me in a chair. The friend sitting next to the one playing with my tights says “That could be seen as sexual” and she just made the situation really awkward and I was face palming in my head. Then the girl playing with my fishnets says “ I know, that’s why I’m doing this to Emma, and only her” and then I laughed awkwardly. The end.

SO is she interested in me? Did she mean something else when she said that/ Please help.

Announcement or Warning.

I can get extremely depressed at a sudden moments glance. Like, the finest thing can trigger me. This post will probably lose me a lot of followers, but IF YOU GET TRIGGERED OR DO NOT WANT TO SEE DEPRESSIVE POSTS PLEASE UNFOLLOW ME I don't want anyone to be upset by me. I will fully understand and hey, we can still be friends it's all cool :) If you want to see the posts, follow the sources that I reblog from :) But sometimes I can get depressed and post depressing and self-hating posts or easily triggered for so reason. AMERICA RUNS ON DUNKIN

(Stolen from one of my older blogs...because I need to write more poetry. Because I'm going to need to have an outlet with everything I will want to take on. Because I love the poem I came up with and thought I'd share. It's funny this could have happened just yesterday, but this post went up September 2011, post Hurricane Irene.) 

Have you ever felt like you haven’t seen a good friend in weeks?… You know you saw them the other day, and you may have hung out for a decent amount of time, and yet it feels like you haven’t seen them in ten years?

So the story goes with Takksshi and DongSaeng. Even though we had seen each other two weeks ago, I was starting to forget what they look like. We were sitting in Woorijip (Korean Buffet-Style Restaurant) a few nights ago and we got into talking about music, which is not surprising because we’ve all studied music at some point or another. We spoke about how difficult songwriting is. When it comes to writing songs for popular consumption, my brain doesn’t compute. 

Thanks to the Chamisul Original or my competitive spirit, I suggested we all write something, right then and there at midnight. Takksshi has been trying to hone his poetic skill and I’ve been helping him out, so this was a great time to see his creativity under pressure. I don’t think I’d read anything Dongsaeng has written before, so this was an exciting first from someone who wants to do things with music. 

Unable to pick a theme for a few minutes and with my Dunkin Donuts bag on the table, I commanded Takksshi pick a number at random. We would count off the letters in “AMERICA RUNS ON DUNKIN” and the letter we stopped on would be the theme of our piece. 

We stopped on ‘K’. We had 12 minutes to write.

At first, I wrote a piece about Krazy Glue, but it turned out to be overly cheesy and 4th grade-ish. “Like Krazy Glue/I’m stuck on you” (Yeah, I know it’s horrible.) But then I wrote about kissing, and especially with recent memories of HurricaneApocalypeWeekend fresh in my head, the words came quite easily. 

Kissing you

is like touching lips with the nectar of

flowers from flies who fed off Eden.

Kissing you is like floating in 

a bubble 

on the surface 

of your bathwater. 

Kissing you is like tanning in the heat your body leaves

behind on the mattress

of your

bed. 

Kissing you is like touching the silk skin in the 

bend of your

knee

with the top of my 

hand

while holding your hand

with my other hand

but on the other hand, 

kissing you is like being drunk 

because as soon as we stop

I can’t remember what you feel like

and please, kiss me again 

so that I can remember. Is kissing you

watching rain fall

from indoors or is kissing

with no indoors to escape to.
