So I'm confused about my gender. I'm ok with being called a girl and having a girl body, but sometimes is someone I don't know or am not close too uses she/her or I see something where it says I'm female, my heart sinks. But if my family uses she/her and say I'm female, I feel fine. So I'm not sure what that means :-/

well, let me tell you, this is not an uncommon thing! i have experienced this somewhat

when someone misconstrued me for male or male-aligned i felt pleased, but when they thought i was female or female-aligned i felt a stone in my stomach. when close friends/family see me as male-aligned i feel the need to correct them.

its more about how that person understands your gender/gender identity and are they more likely to respect it/understand it or not know at all/reject it.

if you are concerned you are not female/not entirely female, please look these over, see if they match how you feel;

Expecgender – A gender which changes depending on who you are around. Also known as pivotgender.

Mirrorgender – A gender that changes to fit the people you’re around.

Mutogender – A gender which is fluid and changes depending on one’s situation.

Pivotgender– Someone whose gender changes depending on who they are around. Note: Not to be confused with mutogender, which goes for people and situations.

Perospike – Being usually content with your gender, but occasionally strongly wanting to be another one.

Xirl – Someone who identifies in some way as a nonbinary girl or nonbinary girl-adjacent. Someone who identifies with some part of woman/girlhood but who wants a more nonbinary and neutral sounding word because they aren’t entirely girls or don’t want to be associated with the typical ideas brought up by the word “girl.”

what i did here is, i opened the mogai-lexicon for gender and sexuality and compiled all the labels that - technically (because that’s the mogai way) and/or literally - apply to me. this is all the tmi you’ll ever need about me. you’re welcome to ask why i included a specific label if you gotta know

i went off the descriptions presented on the blog, where the labels are often super vague and could mean literally anything

I've ID as genderfluid for a while now but now I'm not sure. I've noticed no matter what day it is, I always feel agender, but some days I feel connected with being a demiboy and wanting to be one. I don't know if I should continue using genderfluid or what because of this. ;-;

For Perospike, I thought I mentioned the one about gender (as it said on the original flagless list), but I just realized that on the modified flag post, the definition mentioned orientation instead. So, this is for the gender! I guess this can be modified/recolored for the orientation version. Like change the colors of the large magenta section to the appropriate colors (orange for sensual, purple for ace-spec, etc!)

There’s already a flag for the orientation, sorry for the mistake!

Can I claim scrap 85 for Perospike? I feel like that shape and those colors really convey the idea of wanting something badly! But I would also recommend squishing the spikes so that theyre ve t narrow, such that the magenta (?) In the upper corners take up much more space on the flag. Is this easy to visualize? I can try and make an edit to show what I mean, if you want!
