i want to send a pic of my beat so bad but honestly speaking im a wimp who will NAWT be doing a face reveal BUT i will say i do get compliments on my makeup semi often and esp on my base!!!! 🙈💋

now i will warn u i am NOT a clean girl makeup girly or very natural beat at all so just letting u know i use A LOT more than most ppl i would assume use

ok lets gooo:

skincare prep: use facial cleanser (cerave hydrating or the ordinary hydrating cleanser) to wash face w either lukewarm or cold tapwater. let face air dry or use clean facial towel (i just use a mini towel) to dry face by patting the skin gently a few times max. use toner (some by mi aha bha pha toner) by patting it on face. give 30 secsish to dry. now put on moisturizer (laniege water face mask or cerave hydrating moisturizer or the face shop rice ceramide moisturizer). put on sunscreen (olay 30spf moisturizer sunscreen).

then use primer (elf hydro grip pink or blue works)

onto base: use foundation/cc cream/tinted serum depending on ur preference (f: clio kill cover mesh. cc cream: elf camo. tinted serum: loreal true match). i blend using a damp beauty blender. then i (excessively) use atleast 2-3 concealers of different shades. starting w the darkest to even out my skin tone (the body shop), medium to give more coverage (loreal instant age rewind eraser), and lightest to lighten my undereyes and other areas i like to be highlighted (peripera double longwear cover or focallure liquid concealer both from YesStyle). blend all three after each one w a beauty blender. i then use a setting spray to keep my base in place (i use the milani make it last but i do NOT recc it 🙁).

blush: yet again i am excessive w this 😜 i like looking like my crush just winked at me and i cannot handle the attention 24/7. i start w a matte blush/tint (nyx powder puff lippie or peripera ink airy velvet) then blend w my fingers. after i use a glowy blush (elf halo glow) and blend w my fingers again. lastly i "set" w a powder blush (etude cookie blush).

eyes: during my base routine i add all components from foundation to concealer on my eyes, so i blend out any excess using my fingers and even it out. i then use a white or nude eyeshadow to lighten my entire eye from the undereye to below my eyebrow bone (mac discontinued hello kitty palette or colorpop baby got peach palette...slightly pinky nude or full on white is my vibe). i go in p hard in the underye bc i like my undereye looking like ive slept 99 hours in the past wk alone. then i use any eyeshadow i want to create any kind of look, usually to match my outfit or the days vibe. i like colorpop, too faced, mac, jaclyn hill, and juvias place palettes the most. after the eyeshadow is complete i go in w a setting powder (juvias place) w a heavy hand. i also go in w powder under blush area (below cheekbone), upper lip, chin, and forhead. i let that sit all the way until im done w my lips. after placing powder w powder puff, i do eyeliner w eyeshadow of any previously mentioned palettes. i then curl my lashes, put on mascara (hourglass caution extreme lash or telescopic blue tube), and curl again. i then clean up any mascara w more eyeshadow or concealer then eyeshadow if its p bad. i then place highlighter (colorpop shock) under my brow bone.

highlighter: i use the colorpop highlighter on my nose and cupids bow. then i use a bright pink highlighter (stick w me lol ik it sounds weird) (zeesea purple 9 color eyeshadow palette) on my cheekbone and nose.

lips: three steps: liner, tint, gloss. lip liner from elf to line my exact lip shape (sometimes i round out my cupids bow if its a cutesy look). lip tint from peripera to color my lips and keep the color on for a long time or elf o satin face lip stick to do the same thing. blend out w fingers after smacking lips together. then top w gloss/lip oil (nyx butter gloss, nyx fat lip oil, ecosoul lip oil, kopari gloss, maybelline lifter gloss, hello kitty lip smacker gloss).

blend out all powder on face and set w shitty milani setting spray

WHEW MY HANDS HURTTTT

but tbh i do sm bc i love makeup and have sm fun w it. tho w using this much ik im lucky to not have acne prone skin or skin that treats makeup like a parasite. i often take 2-4 day breaks when i have days off school and or weekends which helps. not to mention i use toner pads (numbuzin no.5) once to twice a wk and use a face mask (from any brand that use food ingredients as a main ingredient) weekly.

milan’s level of nervousness matches how bright she looks. considering how much this opportunity is making her smile, the shakiness she feels inside almst seems out of place. but one can be excited yet apprehensive at the same time. kicking 2023 with her first endorsement ever certainly set the bar high for her expectations of the rest of the year. if only the threat of future dreams didn’t loom over her head, she’d dare hope that this year would be hers. what ‘hers’ means exactly is quite nebulous to her anyway, and sitting in front of the press isn’t the right moment to figure it out either.

“this question if for trainee YU MILAN.” right away, the trainees ear perk up. she searches the small crowd for the speaker and manages to spot the woman. “what does PERIPERA represent to you?” she asks.

milan feels giggle threatening to bubble out of her mouth. she manages to hold them back and transform the energy in an even wider smile. now, her cheeks are hurting at this point. not her fault this press conference reminds her of presentations in school, with teacher quizzing them on their material. well, she might have been quite the average student back in the days, today, she’s more than ready: “PERIPERA is the first makeup brand that i ever bought when i was in middle school. i’ve always thought of the brand as trendy and colorful. as someone who likes cute things, my eyes are always drawn to the cute packaging and colors.” she replies without tripping on a single word.

“is there a product that you recommend for this season?”

now this one is a little trickier, but she’s been studying the products and expected something along those lines. the ‘this season’ is a bit of a curveball though. “i feel during winter, people have a tendency to favor darker shades of makeup. i’m also guilty of it.” she admits with a chuckle. “during autumn and winter, i favor nude colors on my lip, but lately, i’ve been using ‘ink airy velvet’ lip tint, color ‘in the peachlight’. it still looks natural, but with a bit of a ‘pop’ that makes my mood feel brighter” she explains, then points to her lips. “this is actually what i’m wearing today! i really recommend it!” she finishes, feeling proud that she could plug the product like a pro.

finally, the questions move on to the next girl, and milan can breathe a little more easily.

I really wish Wet n Wild would bring the Cloud Pout lip colors back. They were like $5, and their orange shade was perfect for me. If I recall correctly, they also function as a dupe for the Peripera Ink the Velvet lip tints, but sadly the Peripera lip tints don't have an orange shade, and are also twice as expensive.

modelling press conference◞ ♡   — featuring jung jiae for peripera!

jiae’s upcoming campaign with peripera had somehow slipped her mind amidst everything going on in her life — most notably, her sudden addition to legacy’s girl group fabula. and while she’d be partaking in the campaign by herself, as jiae— the legacy entertainment trainee, not of fabula, it brings jiae some comfort knowing that two of her members, hayoung and arin, would be there alongside her in some capacity. at least she didn’t have to worry about their image too, just yet. it’s an understatement to say that she’s nervous for this press conference, although still excited about what follows. jiae has never attended a press conference like this before, one where she’s going to be answering questions given to her by the press. but surely, she had been to enough of them in the past to know what to expect. they couldn’t be that much different. right?

she sits quietly amongst her peers on stage — some seasoned professionals; actors or models, people who attend press conferences like these regularly, while others are still rookies, much like jiae herself. jiae takes the opportunity to read the body language of those around her, listening intently to the way they phrase their responses to questions. jiae wanted her own responses to these questions to be mature, insightful and well thought out, all while still sounding like she answered everything herself. before she knows it, she’s prompted with her first question. 

“this is a question for trainee jung jiae. jiae, how do you feel about being chosen as a model for peripera?” the press attendee asks. it was an easy enough question to begin with, one that jiae didn’t need to think too intently about when it came to an answer. she clasps the microphone between the palms of her hands, bringing it closer to her face. “honestly— i feel so appreciative for the opportunity to help represent peripera,” she begins, with a smile. “as someone who has been wearing products from the brand for a really long time — it feels a little like a dream come true. so, i feel really appreciative and excited to be here today!” 

“and secondly jiae — having said you have worn the products from peripera for a long time, what is your favourite product from the peripera lineup at the moment?” now this one might be a bit of a kicker, jiae thinks to herself. it was hard to think of a specific product off of the top of her head. her mind immediately goes to their collection of lip products— tints, sticks, balms... skincare for lips. the lineup of products was endless. “my favourite product from peripera has to be their ink velvet tints.” jiae says with the nod of her head. “as a trainee, i can really appreciate a product with longevity that i don’t have to keep constantly applying. peripera’s lip tints are moisturizing, non-drying and also come in a huge range of colours, so there really is something for everyone, no matter the occasion!”

she didn’t really think that something like this would happen, not just by looking into a mirror and putting makeup on, though that’s something about legacy she had learned. that you had to expect the unexpected, no matter where you were or when it was. how arin managed to be one of the lucky ones who even got picked, well it was still a mystery to her, though she wasn’t complaining one bit. this was another opportunity for her and she was ready to give it her all.

arin waits patiently and listens as the others in her group speak, answering questions that are being asked, smiling as she nods slightly. the moment that it’s her turn, she directs her attention to the ones asking the questions and answers truthfully.

“what are your feelings about representing Peripera?”

humming softly, she takes a moment before finally speaking. “i’m really happy that i was one of the few chosen actually. i started using the brand a few months ago after seeing an advertisement, and after that i think it’s one of the brands that is mostly seen in my collection of makeup.” arin gives a small nod.

“which products from Peripera would you say are your favorite?”

this has arin thinking for a few moments, going through a list of the products she had used so far. “this is actually hard to choose, because i love all of their products, but i would have to say a few of my favorites are their Whisper of Milky Spring palette, their Mood Drop Tint, the Ink Velvet and especially the Sugar Twinkle Liquid Glitter.” she smiles before pointing at her lips. “actually, today i’m wearing some of the Coralficial Ink Velvet.”

“how do you use the products of the brand on the daily?”

“i’d like to say that i use Peripera products nearly everyday when i’m wearing makeup. even if i’m just going out to do some shopping, or even running to the store for something to drink.” a small laugh escapes at herself before continuing. “this brand actually is taking over and replacing some of the other brands i used in the past so it’s pretty rare to not see me at least using even the lip tint on a daily basis.”
