I've been chewing on what fears the bg3 characters would be because I do that with almost every piece of media I like now.

Gale is the Beholding (hubris, pursuit of knowledge above all else, his ex can literally see everything he does in/with the Weave). You could make an argument for Desolation b/c of the orb but I think that's secondary. Wyll is the Hunt imo, but the Desolation works for him too- I think his situation is similar to that Hunter we meet whose name I'm forgetting, whose inciting incident has to do with the Dark. I thought the same thing about Karlach but I think she's Desolation instead of Hunt, both aesthetically and because she was actively betrayed and is, you know, dying. Shadowheart is the Dark. Halsin could honestly be the Lonely: he's pretty isolated from the people around him emotionally. An island unto himself etc etc. Lae'zel is the End imo. You'd think she'd be Hunt but End fits into Vlaakith's whole deal (victim of the End, avatar of the Hunt?). Astarion could be either the Buried (since that covers abuse as well, he was literally kept underground/out of the sunlight, etc etc) or the Hunt. I'm a bit undecided there. I don't know enough about Minthara to make a call on her and I don't want to just say Web because of Lolth. Slaughter, maybe? Since that fear covers war. Jaheira and Minsc are Hunt too, I think (there's a lot of Hunt but that comes with the territory when you're adventuring).

Gortash is Web and you cannot convince me otherwise. I think Orin is Slaughter but, honestly, Durge seems more associated with the Extinction to me because of Bhaal's end goal. The Desolation and the Lonely tag-teamed Ketheric's ass but he's an avatar of the End. Dame Aylin is an avatar of the Hunt, victim of the Dark, and Isobel is an avatar of the End a la the main End avatar we see (Oliver? I really need to re-listen...)

There's obviously a lot of overlap and bleed because there always is. I've been wanting to make art based off of this but it's not happening anytime soon so I figured I'd shout about it into the void a bit lol

moz does not hide her disdain for both joshua graham and daniel but she tries to Makes Nice because the dead horses and the sorrows seem to like them well enough, and she doesn't want to be on their bad side, seeing as she's a guest on their ancestral lands. she does however do her best to poison both groups against joshua by making his history and bloodlust known, especially once they deal with the white legs and moz couldn't convince joshua to spare salt-upon-wounds. like. are these the actions of a reformed man? a man looking for peace? look and see and consider what lengths you'd go to for this strange man acting as your war chief. who appointed him? why do you revere him so, even knowing what he would've made of you when he was still the malpais legate? why is he so eager to spill blood, and justify it with scripture? whose blood will be next?

Stupid episode idea where RIGHT after Timmy gets his memories back and reunites with Cosmo & Wanda (but not Peri), he and Dev get stranded together in Fairy World. Dev wants to get back to his fairy rather than hang around this stranger, and Timmy wants to meet up with his brother, but the thing is...

Dev keeps talking about getting back to "Peri". Timmy keeps talking about reuniting with "Poof". Neither of them realize that they're talking about the same person, and both keep trying to INSIST that their Person is more important to find first, and they can meet the other afterward.

Upon Peri finding out about this, he just. stares. You can see the years subtracting from his immortal life. Sigh.

I was rewatching old fairly odd parents episodes (I'm actually rewatching the whole series)

While watching I noticed in Superbaby, Cosmo and Wanda couldn't wish their baby back to them because Timmy's mom and dad loved Superbaby and magic couldn't bring him back.

This made me realize that Cosmo and Wanda were able to make Timmy disapear meaning that no one truly loved Timmy and I though that was horrible. Because Timmy's parents don't care about him at all, like they're terrible parents. (I'm pretty sure Cosmo and Wanda love Timmy, but in that episode I'm pretty sure they still thought of that love as temporary so they COULD wish him away)

This episode makes a lot of things really sad BUT on the bright side I discovered something this episode could do. At the end of the episode Superbaby is willingly returned, but no one's memories were erased so while Timmy may not able to remember his FAIRIES he can remember his super cool awesome little brother Poof because his memories still have him as his little space brother.

Bringing this on to my point, Peri visits Timmy often and Timmy doesn't question it because Peri isn't a stranger to him. Peri is still his brother except he remembers his adventure with him as being adventure's with his space baby brother.

Timmy still remember Peri bcuz I said so and I don't like seeing Peri sad

Peri x GN!Reader[Pt. 2]

Peri wanted to stalk— observe! He started to observe your babysitter skills more!!

Dev had just asked you to get his favorite cereal from the cereal bar. You returned with a frown, empty-handed. "Dev, I can't find any of those. I think you're out of them."

"Then get me some from the supermarket! And make it quick!" Granted, he could always make his Au Pairs do his bidding, but where's the fun in that?

You hesitated. "Hmm. I can't exactly leave you alone. Wanna come with me?"

...Honestly, why'd his dad even hire a babysitter? With a loud, annoyed groan, Dev agreed anyway. He hasn't been out of the house for a few days, so he might as well. Hopefully, he'll see Hazel— wHAT? who said that??

Of course, Peri followed you both.

It wasn't until Dev started straying off from you and picking up random snacks that Peri decided to reveal himself again.

"Dev, wait, don't go too far— woah!"

This wasn't in the plan. Peri just changed into a human! Any milisecond earlier, you would have seen him transform!

Good thing you didn't. Now, you stared at him, wide-eyed, in his arms. Peri stared at you back with his lilac eyes. It seemed like it was your turn to trip on him.

"It's you!" You recognized the same purple-haired guy from yesterday. He's holding you up now.

Peri smiled, eventually letting you go when you regain your balance. "Haha, it's me! Sorry again, but I definitely didn't expect you to fall for me next."

You blinked at his confidence. That is certainly unexpected. With a laugh, you retort, "What can I say? You're one pretty boy."

He's mentally freaking out. You think he's pretty? Peri may be smooth and suave to most, but in the inside, he's more than likely prone to losing it.

"[Name]! You better be doing your job and finding my cereal!" Dev called out from multiple aisles away.

Peri snapped his gaze back to you, carefully reading your expression. You sighed with a tired smile. "Whoops. I would love to talk more, but I gotta take care of that kid first."

This is an opportunity to check how you really feel about Dev. Peri cleared his throat, looking away. "That sounds like Dev Dimmadome. I heard that he's a real doozy to handle."

"I won't deny that," you replied, causing his eyes to widen, "but I think he just needs a friend."

Then you left and went straight to the cereal aisle. Peri stood in the same spot, speechless.

Maybe you are fit to be Dev's caretaker. Probably will even do a better job than him.

"Hey."

Peri shrieked, turning around to find Dev standing behind him. The kid raised an eyebrow at the stranger.

"What the? Are you... crying right now?" Dev said with disbelief, judging Peri's entire being.

I have opinions on the memory wiping but if Dev truly lost his memories of fairies that opens up a world of possibilities.

-Dev became friends with Hazel before Peri came into his life. Does he still think Hazel is mad at him for the hat? What is their relationship like in his mind now?

-Dev seeing Hazel and her group. And wondering why he wants to be part of it so badly. Why does Hazel look at him with such sadness?

-He accidentally sees Peri one day and wonders why he feels such a rush of emotions about this random stranger.

-As he starts getting his memory back, he doesn't tell anyone because it sounds so surreal? Fairies are real? But he still vows to do better than what he sees in his memories

"What are you waiting for?" Irep snapped from his position on the ground. He was injured and exhausted, being held at wand-point by Wanda. "Kill him!"

Peri hovered in place, visibly struggling with the order. His eyes shone pink and his pupils were hazy, like he had come down with a terrible fever. His hands shook where he gripped his scepter, and he was sweating with exertion, clearly fighting himself.

"You need to leave," Peri demanded shakily, his scepter fighting to stay level as he aimed it at his foe. "I can't— I c-can't fight it forever."

Timmy didn't move, taking in Peri's haggard appearance and the conflicting thoughts warring on his face.

The biggest indicator that something was wrong with Peri was the small, diamond-shaped scar between the base of his wings, carrying through his chest to just below his sternum. The magical injury was visible even through Peri's clothes, and every fairy knew what it meant.

Timmy hadn't known, when he first arrived in Fairy World, what he was dealing with. Hazel had filled him in on the way, yapping his ear off and stumbling over sentences as she dragged him along.

He knew what it meant now.

And he wasn't going anywhere, Cupid's Curse be damned.

So, instead of leaving, Timmy stepped closer. And closer still. He knew that they had an audience, that Peri was dangerous, that he still only had half of his lost memories, that all of the odds were against him, that there was a very slim chance of this working—

But all he could think was that Peri looked like he was in so much pain, and how was Timmy supposed to see that and just walk away?

"It's okay," Timmy said soothingly, his hands held out placatingly. "I'm not going to hurt you, Peri. No one is going to hurt you."

"That's not what I'm worried about," Peri whispered.

"Stop talking and shoot—!" Irep's furious demand was cut off when Cosmo shoved a sock into his mouth.

All that Cosmo and Wanda could do was worriedly watch the scene unfolding before them. They didn't know how Timmy had gotten here, or why his memories were coming back, but they trusted him. They always had before.

"I'm not leaving," Timmy said firmly. "I promise."

Peri wailed. "Don't say that! You can't promise me that, you've said that before, and you still—" He paused, eyes widening. "You remember."

It wasn't a question.

Timmy nodded. "Yeah, I do."

Instead of being relieved, Peri's expression crumbled. "Oh, no. You must hate me. You do, don't you? You're— And I lied to you, and—"

"Stop that," Timmy cut in sharply. Peri was working himself up, his scepter flaring with magic that was ready to burst out at any moment. "I don't hate you. I could never hate you, Per. You're my little brother."

Peri laughed. He laughed so hard that he was sobbing, breaking down, collapsing in on himself like a dying star. "I never thought there would come a day when I didn't want to hear you say that, but here it is! Go away, Timmy — I can't control myself, I'm going to hurt you if you stay."

"But it will hurt you if I leave." Headless of the dangers, Timmy finally closed the distance between them.

He ignored Peri's scepter, letting it dig into his chest. The contact burned a hole through the fabric, and quickly reddened Timmy's skin from the heat. Peri winced, his hands shaking so violently now that it was a wonder his scepter didn't fall from his grasp.

"I've never given up on you before, and I'm not going to start now." Timmy reached his hand out and cupped Peri's cheek. The brush of their skin made Peri gasp, eyes flashing, magic wavering. "I love you, Peri. I'm not going anywhere — not this time."

And Timmy leaned in, but Peri was the one who surged forward, clinging to Timmy the way that the tides clawed at the shore. He dropped his scepter and tilted Timmy's face down, their lips meeting in a crushing kiss. Their onlookers gasped in mixes of shock and disgust, but neither Peri nor Timmy paid them any mind.

The months they'd spent together as strangers, becoming friends and then something more, pining and longing for different things, accepting whatever closeness they could get, filling those empty spaces inside of themselves with each other— all of it had built up to this.

Peri felt the arrow lodged in his chest splinter and snap, and he could breathe again.

He breathed in Timmy, his big brother, his lover, his missing pieces — the scent of his cologne, his sweat, the burnt aura of magic clinging to him still. Peri inhaled it like he was never going to draw breath again.

Timmy's hand cupped his back, using his thumb to rub circles into the spot where Cupid's Curse had scarred. But that scar was fading now, and Peri's eyes were back to their normal, bright purple when he leaned back and met Timmy's gaze.

He sniffled, feeling wrung dry. "You don't hate me?" Peri asked, just to be sure.

"Hm. I don't know..." Timmy pretended to think about it. "Maybe we should kiss again, just to be sure."

Peri laughed, and it was the best thing that Timmy had ever heard. They kissed again, softer this time but no less intense, letting the world fall away as they lost themselves in the love that they thought they'd never get to have.

While Wanda helped Jorgen get Irep into chains, Hazel stood next to Cosmo and watched the proceedings with wide eyes.

"What just happened?" She asked, whispering, as if speaking too loud would shatter the moment.

Cosmo had an odd look on his face, like he wasn't quite sure what he was feeling. After a moment, he turned to Hazel. "Well, you know what they say." He shrugged, looking a little dumbfounded. "The only way to break a Curse is with True Love's Kiss."

So after New Wish I started watching some random episodes of the og show, starting with the ones featuring Cosmo and Wanda’s families, which got me thinking of how those relationships could have evolved up to the new show. So here are some headcanons about it (2k words below):

The Cosmas:

For Cosmo’s relationship with his brother, I like to think they kept in touch after Schnozmo’s introduction, writing letters and seeing each other every so often, mainly at a bar or restaurant because 1. Wanda doesn’t want that man anywhere near her home (whether it’s their actual house or their godkid’s place) and 2. Schnozmo can convince his brother to pay for the two of them so might as well get a free meal out of it.

On that note, while they get along and would say they have a good relationship, Cosmo would definitely be a bit more guarded around Schnozmo, at least as in he understands why Wanda doesn’t want to be around him and he refuses to lend him any money knowing it won’t be paid back.

And outside of Cosmo, like I said Wanda doesn’t exactly like the guy. She can stand being in the same room as him and has no issues with Cosmo having a relationship with him but she doesn’t trust her BIL one bit. Schnozmo can sense her hostility and keeps his distance as a result, if he can’t get anything from her he’s not going to bother get on her good side.

As for Peri, Schnozmo strikes me as the kind of guy who doesn’t really like kids (at least he had the decency to save the baby in his episode but they don’t exactly interact outside of it) so I could see him make no effort in bonding with his nephew and tell Cosmo not to bring him along when they hang out. And once Peri’s grown, his uncle is basically a stranger so why should he care for the guy, likewise Schnozmo writes him off like he does Wanda.

With Mama Cosma things are a little bit more complicated. Ok so first off I know it’s not actually canon but rather something many people parrot but I really like the idea of Cosmo being 10 000 years old during the og show. This means that, with the knowledge he and Wanda had been married for over 9 000 years (I think the exact number is 9 895 years?), Cosmo only spend about 1/100 of his life with his mom before running off. So despite being a mama’s boy, he isn’t afraid to go no contact with her for a long period of time.

(More on the relationship between Cosmo and his mom in this post. Yeah I’m having a blast with the angst potential of Cosmo being one of the most powerful fairies out there but being considered both a danger and “waste of potential” due to being “dumber” than the average fairy)

But yeah during the events of the og show the two of them reunite and spend a lot of time together, with Mama Cosma especially coming in handy when they need someone to babysit Poof (she dealt with one overpowered baby, she can do with another one).

However, she’s basically playing doll with her grandson so by the time he turns 5-6 (if not earlier) and starts having his own opinions and as a result starts saying “no” to things, Mama Cosma does not take it well and becomes verbally abusive towards the kid. She also tells him there’s no use ratting her out to his parents in a mix of “they wouldn’t believe you” and “you don’t want to make your dad angry and sad do you?”.

Eventually Timmy hears about it and wastes no time telling Cosmo and Wanda, and Cosmo is pissed. So they go to the Cosma’s house, Cosmo tells his mom off because you know she wouldn’t listen to Wanda, some nasty things are said and Cosmo decides to cut contact with her again, this time more openly and making it clear it’s permanent and she better not try anything or she’ll regret it, especially since she knows how powerful her son is.

Also once they get back home Cosmo would profusely apologize to Wanda about never standing up for her. Because I like to think that Cosmo had always been pretty unhappy with how his mom acted towards his wife but chalked it up to Mama Cosma not having seen him in a long time and being a bit possessive as a result, hoping she would calm down with time and turning a blind eye when she didn’t. Wanda wouldn’t be too happy it took their son being hurt for Cosmo to do anything, but at least they’re finally done dealing with Mama Cosma.

So yeah after that they don’t have any contact. Maybe she’d try meeting them at some point only to be told off again (it’d be funny if she showed up like “I gave you some time to cool off son now about me getting back into your life” but she does it 20 years later because time just works differently when you’re immortal).

I could also see the possibility that, when Peri is well into his job and out of the house, Wanda would give Cosmo permission to have a relationship with Mama Cosma again if he wishes too, since I could see him miss her a bit, though I’m not sure Cosmo would take the risk. If he does, it would be with hard boundaries like Mama Cosma being forbidden from having any interaction with Wanda and Peri, never meeting at the Fairywinkle-Cosma house and if Mama Cosma makes a single comment about Wanda or Peri she’s out the door.

So yeah a complicated toxic relationship that would end with no contact but might open up at some point. Maybe. Probably not for a few millennia at least.

And if I need to say a word about Jorgen since he and Cosmo are cousins, I don’t see them discovering their ancestry as changing anything about their dynamic. Jorgen is still Cosmo’s boss and acts like it, same with Wanda. The fact those two often get in trouble for their kids’ wishes along with Cosmo being Cosmo doesn’t help in Jorgen keeping it solely professional between them.

As for Peri, while Jorgen does seem to have a bit of a soft spot for him (Peri flinching every single time Dev yells at him shows he’s a bit of a coward yet he shields his parents against Jorgen in “Lost in Fairy World” + Jorgen calling him “Peri-weri”), I could see it as having more to do with Peri being the youngest fairy rather than a family connection. Tbh in general I see Peri as being babied by most people who knew him as a kid, to his dismay (this is also my explanation as to why he changed his name, he wants people to stop immediately identify him as the last baby born).

Also I can’t speak about the Tooth Fairy because I barely remember anything about her personality in the og show and New Wish doesn’t exactly put her in the best light, so I’m going to say she’s like Jorgen on that front, not seeing the Fairywinkle-Cosma as family members and being nicer to Peri (her offering him a job) because she knew him as a baby.

The Fairywinkles:

For Blonda, I see her and Wanda as still having a tense relationship but they can handle being in the same room and do small talk. I also like to think that they’re jealous of each other, with Wanda feeling insecure when seeing her sister’s success while Blonda is envious of her twin’s simpler life (“simpler” as in “doesn’t have to deal with crazy fans and constant pressure to stay relevant”). So yeah they don’t exactly get along great but they can handle family reunions. Also if they talk things out there could be potential for a reconciliation.

As for how she feels about Wanda’s family, I could see Blonda be neutral towards Cosmo. She doesn’t mind interacting with him and might even find him funny, but she’s not too close to him either and doesn’t understand what Wanda sees in him.

In return, Cosmo’s chill with her. She doesn’t openly insult him so he takes it as her being nice and friendly with him (yeah when every single fairy you meet either mocks you or is terrified of you, the bar gets very low). That being said he’d probably feel uncomfortable whenever she insults Wanda and as a result doesn’t make any attempt to interact with her outside of family reunions. He also lets Wanda call the shots on whether or not they should interact with Blonda, understanding it’s complicated between the two and not wanting to pressure Wanda into a relationship she might not want.

For Peri, I could see Blonda babysit him a few times when he was a toddler if only because he was a celebrity back then and she could get some clout out of it. Although if you take the idea of her being envious of Wanda’s simpler life, I could also see Blonda babysit her nephew even after he stopped being popular because she enjoyed feeling like a regular fairy from time to time.

(the way I see it Poof was popular because his birth gave fairies hope that the baby ban was going to be lifted; but when it became clear the Fairy Council had no desire to change their rules, the hype died down and even turned into resentment towards the Fairywinkle-Cosma trio, one of the reasons why Cosmo and Wanda “moved out” of Fairy World once Peri was an adult)

As for how Peri feels about her, I could see him enjoy hanging out with her as a kid and especially as a teen (not sure how to explain it but Blonda strikes me as someone who could get along well with kids, like she’s the cool aunt who also spoils you rotten). But also Blonda doesn’t really have much of a filter when it comes to insulting Wanda so as he grows up and hears more and more of her comments, Peri would get defensive of his mom and spend less time with his aunt.

Tbh he likely already defended his mom as a kid but back then Blonda would just deflect in a “I’m just joking” kind of way and move on to something else, with Peri being too young to know how to properly react. But as a teen, he better understands that he can just leave the room and talk to her less.

And between him not wanting to see her much and Wanda having a bad relationship with her, the last time Blonda saw her nephew before a potential meeting during New Wish would be back when he was like 16-17 (so a good 5-6 years).

Finally for Big Daddy, we see in the og show that Wanda has a good relationship with him for the most part and often writes him letters (he even knew about Timmy). That being said she’s also intimidated by him and is afraid to stand up to him, causing her to lie about Timmy’s personality and hide her marriage.

So my idea for him is pretty similar to Cosmo and his brother. Wanda has a relationship with her father but she’s the one visiting him, mainly because he lives a dangerous life and she doesn’t want to put her family at risk. Also Big Daddy doesn’t like Cosmo so there’s no point in him visiting the guy, and since Cosmo’s terrified of his FIL he’d be more than happy to keep it that way. Maybe sometimes for a family dinner Cosmo’s invited, which is also when he’d interact with Blonda, but Big Daddy would mostly ignore him in those instances.

For Peri tho, since Big Daddy seems like a family man I could definitely see him want to have a relationship with his grandson, and after a while protesting Wanda eventually caves in (since again she struggles with saying no to him). She tries to still keep Peri away for his safety, like not having him every time she visits or keeping the visits short, but yeah Big Daddy would know his grandson and be attached to him.

Once he’s an adult Peri would definitely keep contact with his grandpa, especially since at that point he’d have the maturity to understand the risk (basically staying in contact with Big Daddy would be an informed decision and his own choice).

Peri Learns Timmy is Spider-Man

All Peri wanted to do was show his older cousin a meme.

Somehow that was too much to ask of the universe.

Timmy was usually in his room, either playing video games or whatever. He barely heard him all evening which was odd. So when he heard a faint thump from the other side of the wall, he assumed his cousin was finally home. 

He seemed to be staying out later these days. Doing what? No one in the family really knew. 

At least Peri’s favorite cousin was back. He grabbed his phone and loaded up the video he meant to show Timmy earlier. Sure he could've sent it to him but it was funnier to see Timmy’s reaction.

Peri had this phone in one hand and opened Timmy’s door with the other. 

“You’ll never guess what-” Peri’s eyes landed on the hooded figure with a mask. His entire face was covered in black cloth with one two crudely attached lenses.

The two locked eyes. Neither moved. This was not his cousin. This was someone who broke into Timmy’s room, from the second floor? Surely, there were easier houses to rob. But this had to be a thief. Someone who could probably stab him. Badly.

Peri stayed calmed.

“DAD!” Peri ran out into the hall. He didn’t even know if his dad was home but it was worth a shot.

Thwip.

Something hit Peri’s back and yanked him back inside Timmy’s room. His phone flew from his hand. He fell flat on the floor. The stranger looming over him.

Peri went to scream again but the stranger shot something from their wrist. His mouth closed shut. He tried to look down. His hands were going towards the bottom half of his face trying to rip off whatever was stuck to his mouth. 

It wasn't coming off.

He screamed but it came out muffled.

“Peri-” The stranger said.

Oh dear. This person knew his name. He was dead. He had to do something.

Peri turned over and started hitting the stranger's legs. He wasn't going down without a fight. No matter how pathetic and one sided the fight was.

“Peri, calm down!” The stranger whispered angrily. He crouched down and ripped off the ski mask. 

It was Timmy. 

“Mmy?” Peri’s eyes widened. This only raised more questions.

How did Timmy get onto the second floor? The window was open but there was no possible way, no stairs or balcony except for his door. 

Why was he even breaking into his own room in the first place?

What the fuck was that thing with his wrist? 

“Boys?” Wanda’s footsteps made their way up the stairs.

The two of them gave each other an  ‘oh shit’ look. Panic in both their eyes. Moreso in Timmy’s. 

At that moment Peri understood. Whatever was happening, mom and dad were not to be told about it. Peri got off the floor and tried to break off whatever was stuck to his face.

Timmy ran to the door and slammed it shut. They both winced knowing that was about to get Timmy into even more trouble. 

“Everything’s fine, Aunt Wanda!” Timmy took off his hoodie and threw it into the corner. He did a weird motion that let out… 

Webs? 

Okay, what the fuck Timmy.

The webs latched onto the mask and he grabbed it and tossed it into the corner. He rushed over to Peri and ripped off the webbing.

Peri yelped. The webbing was stuck onto Timmy’s hands now. Panic overtook the cousins.

Wanda knocked on the door. Peri ran to stop the door from opening all the way.

“Hey Mom!” Peri nervously laughed. The door was only open an inch.

In the corner of his eye, his cousin was quietly panicking. Timmy was flailing around trying to get the webs off his own hands. Serves him right that stuff is strong and sticky.

“Is everything alright Sweetie?” Wanda held her hand against the door. Her soft tired eyes almost let Peri’s guard down. Almost.

He straightened his posture, “Of course. Haha. Um- Why wouldn't it be? It’s not like I thought someone was breaking in- Because no one can break in! Especially not from the second floor because that’s impossible-” He paused. “Timmy and I were just playing a game. It got a little rough. Because we were… Pretending to be wrestlers?”

Wanda looked confused, she shook her head as if to clear her thoughts. “Timmy’s home?”

It was at that moment when Timmy finally took control. He opened the door fully and shoved Peri out. Peri restrained himself from letting out a whimper. Jeez, when did Timmy get so strong? That hurt.

“Yeah, sorry I didn't tell you earlier Aunt Wanda.” Timmy smiled. 

“Just… Don't make it a habit, alright Sport?”

Timmy gave a mini salute, “Aye aye, Captain Wanda.”

Wanda sighed, “We’re talking later. Both of you. You two know how I get about slamming doors and roughhousing.” She started walking back downstairs and let her voice carry itself back up, “Dinner will be ready in twenty minutes.” 

Peri turned to Timmy. His mouth failing to make an coherent words. They were more akin to baby babbles then sentences. 

Timmy grabbed his wrist and pulled him inside. He closed the door with a little too much caution. His room was the way it always been. Aside from the broken cobwebs on the floor. Tiny strains littered across the already messy floor. 

“Timmy… What happened?”

“Um.” Timmy took a deep breath and grimaced with a shrug. “I’m not one hundred percent sure but I think a spider did this. Or a spider allergy? Something related to a spider that’s for sure.” Timmy started going on about a field trip a few months back. The discovery of spider related powers. The webs he could shoot out of his wrist.

“Long story short I’m kind of a vigilante now?” Timmy did nervous jazz hands.

Peri was stuck in a daze. This was a lot to process. All he wanted to do was eat but now his stomach couldn’t handle the idea of his cousin going out there and fighting criminals. People with guns and weapons. Scratch that, his cousin had superpowers. Spider themed superpowers.

“What is my life?” Peri thought aloud. 

“You weren’t the one who got sick from spider bite.” 

Peri shot up. “And you didn’t go to the hospital?!”

“I thought it would be fine.” Timmy grumbled.

“You can produce webs from your wrists. That is not fine.”  

“Drama queen.”

“I’m gonna be honest Timmy. I don’t like this.”

“I’m not asking for your approval, I just don’t want you to rat me out to your mom or dad.”

“And I won’t. I…” Peri had no idea what to say. It was always Timmy who looked out for him. Sure, his cousin has done reckless things before but this is a new level of insanity. “I just don’t know.”

“But you won’t rat me out right?” Hesistation from Timmy's part. As if Timmy hadn't helped Peri cover up countless mistakes. As if they hadn't grown up together.

They were ride or die.

Peri shook his head no. He wouldn't tell, he trusted Timmy.

“Good. I owe you one.” Timmy gave him a soft smile.

It was Peri who owed Timmy a lot. He left without a saying another word. His phone was still on the hallway floor. He picked it up. 

Peri surpressed a laugh, of course the meme he wanted to show Timmy happened to be about a spider.

I’ve been doing oc x canon for a LONG time (literally since preschool) but I soon realized I had too many ocs so at one point I just scrapped them all and made an oc I could just insert into any universe, thus Ariél was born !

He has his own story and lore but it kinda has to chang depending on what franchise I stick him into. Basically the one thing that stays consistent is that he’s goth.

In the FOP universe, he lived with his siblings until he started his job training. He and Peri met as roommates when they started, having moved out around the same time. (I love a good “oh my god they were roommates” couple).

Ari is a matchmaker working for cupid, which weirdly had a shorter training period so he got his liscense pretty quick, and he supported Peri the whole way to his godparenting liscense. This made Peri all “oh my gosh this guy is so kind I kinda want to be with him forever” and Ari was all “oh my gosh this guy is so dedicated and passionate I kinda want to be with him forever” but they never really confronted those feelings, they had other things to worry about.

At one point they were basically together already, but they were deep in denial. Like yeah, we kiss and hold hands and sleep together and share clothes and know everything about eachother, but we’re not BOYFRIENDS, what makes you say that? But it’s fine, they get over it eventually and just slap a label on.

When Cosmo and Wanda recconnect with Peri, they love Ari, they think he’s awesome. Like, they’re excited just to see their son, they’re ecstatic to see their son’s boyfriend. Ari’s siblings aren’t as involved with his life anymore, but once they find out about Peri they’re very approving.

they listen to ABBA and Chappel Roan together and “their songs” are Come On Eileen and Uptown Girl

The main thing is they’re silly guys that are in love and they’ve consumed most of my brain :33

It is official: Peri has the worst run of anyone. She nearly drowns and gets kidnapped to another planet, then captured by the Master multiple times, and still finds it so thrilling and the Doctor so charming she wants more. She’ll do this for three months and then return to college.

Only in the very next adventure she nearly dies of poison, watches her new friend the Doctor actually die of poison, and suddenly there’s a stranger in his place who tries to kill her, behaves wildly erratically, and then even when he comes to his senses never takes her fear or discomfort seriously and is always insulting her. All of their adventures together are terrifying and it’s not clear if he actually enjoys her company, but he holds the idea of going back to her normal life and being kicked out of this one over her head, and she still wants the adventure

And then suddenly he starts acting like he’s betrayed everything she thinks he believes in, even starting to confess it’s an act only to double down. She’s left to fight back with a sleazy overly violent warlord and some confused freed slaves. She’s kidnapped for horrible experiments and there’s no indication the Doctor knows or cares. And he just never shows up to rescue her

She’s saved by the warlord and left stranded millions of miles and thousands of years from home, so with no choice she follows the warlord back to his planet. She has no way of traveling about on her own, and really she was very emotionally and physically reliant on the Doctor, though he let her down a lot, so she stays there and is talked into marrying the warlord and helping him rule his people

Seriously? I’d almost have rather she died, because then it could be tragically beautiful at least
