Red and co. visiting the convalescent garden together? I really like your stuff with them!
A knock. Then another, more confident. Perfumer stretched, slipping a ribbon between the pages of her book, standing from her armchair and stepping lightly over to the door to her office.
"Hello, Frostleaf. Please keep your voice down, she's asleep right now."
"Oh, um, ok." Frostleaf tucked her hands back into her jacket pockets. "Hi Miss Lena."
Perfumer smiled, turning and beckoning Frostleaf in to her office, who stepped nervously past the threshold.
"So, um. How did things... go?"
"About how I expected them to." Perfumer sighed. "There's only so much that can be helped along with perfumes and medicines. Working on yourself isn't something you can shortcut."
"Mhm." Frostleaf nodded solemnly. "I know."
"I know you do"
Together they moved, inch by inch, over towards the couch were Red was sitting limp, arm in a sling, head rolled back into her hood, lightly snoring.
Frostleaf softened, her entire body shifting, and Perfumer smiled gently.
"She's trying her hardest for you, I hope you know."
"I know." Frostleaf leaned her hands against the back of the armchair, not breaking her gaze towards Red. "I just... "
She trailed off, and Perfumer laid a hand over top of hers.
"You want to be good for her."
Frostleaf nodded, stonefaced.
"You are. I can hear it in the way she talks about you." Perfumer gave a gentle squeeze of her hands. "You don't need to be perfect. She doesn't need perfect. She needs you."
Again, Frostleaf nodded, but her lower lip trembled just a bit.
"She loves you more than anything."
The tears that had been welling in Frostleaf's eyes began to spill, and she blinked them away, pulling her hand free and wiping at her face with a sleeve.
"Sorry. I'm sorry. I just -- "
"Here, dear."
Perfumer offered a tissue box, and Frostleaf took it, dabbing at her face.
"And don't you dare apologize for crying. Everybody does, it's how we process intense emotion."
"frost... leaf?"
A voice whispered from the couch, and Frostleaf snapped to attention, swiftly moving to the couch.
"I'm here, Red."
"mmm." Red gently pressed her forehead against Frostleaf's arm. "frostleaf needs to rest too. frostleaf should come. next time."
"Red, I don't know if -- "
"frostleaf will like. lena is nice." Red reached out, grabbing on to Frostleaf's jacket sleeve with her free hand.
Frostleaf glanced over to Perfumer, eyes full of conflicted emotions.
"Only if you want to. But my door is always open."
"...I'll think about it."
Perfumer smiled warmly, and Red hummed, pressing her shoulder to Frostleaf's. "now dinner?"
"Yes, Red, we're going to dinner now."
Together they made their way to the door, Perfumer trailing just politely far enough behind them, watching as they paused at the door, turning to wave together.
"Thanks, Miss Lena."
"thank you."
Perfumer smiled, returning the gesture. "Of course. Take care, you two."

y'all give me perfume or cologne recomendations that are long lasting please
i like vanilla perfumes and also like perfumes that are really fruity and on the sweeter side. i like most things with amber scent notes. anything that's more smokey or woodsy or has musk in it is fine as long as it's not overpowering

tell me about yourself or your aesthetic (on anon or not) and ill rec a perfume to match you!

Selecting the Perfect Fragrance: 3 Guidelines for Choosing the Perfect Fragrance for Men
Tumblr media
Finding the ideal perfume can be a journey of self-discovery, reflecting your personality and leaving a lasting impression. With the myriad of options available, selecting the perfect fragrance can be both exciting and overwhelming. In this guide, we'll delve into three essential guidelines to help you discover the ideal perfume for men, focusing on both general selections and long-lasting options.
1. Understanding Your Preferences:
Before embarking on your perfume exploration, take some time to identify your preferences. Consider the scents you naturally gravitate towards – are you drawn to fresh, woody, or spicy notes? Understanding your taste is crucial in narrowing down the vast array of options. For men, popular choices often include masculine notes like sandalwood, leather, and vetiver. Take note of any specific ingredients or scents that resonate with you to guide your search effectively.

2. Exploring Perfumes for Men:
When seeking the perfect fragrance, it's essential to explore those specifically crafted for men. These perfumes often incorporate bold and robust notes that align with masculine sensibilities. Look for renowned perfume houses that curate collections designed exclusively for men. Notable options may include classics like Chanel Bleu, Dior Sauvage, or Tom Ford Noir. These fragrances are celebrated for their unique blends, capturing the essence of sophistication and masculinity.
3. Opting for Long-Lasting Fragrances:
For men who value a scent that lingers throughout the day, prioritizing long-lasting perfumes for men is key. Opt for fragrances that boast staying power without compromising on the quality of the scent. Brands such as Creed, Amouage, and Montblanc are renowned for creating exquisite, enduring long-lasting perfumes for men. Look for keywords like "long-lasting" or "intense" when exploring fragrance descriptions. These formulations often incorporate base notes that gradually unfold, ensuring a captivating scent experience that endures from morning to night. Whether you're drawn to the rich and robust aromas or prefer something more subtle, the world of long-lasting perfumes for men offers a diverse range of options to suit every taste.
Selecting the perfect fragrance is a personal and nuanced process, and understanding your preferences is paramount. When exploring perfumes for men, delve into the world of scents crafted specifically to complement masculine tastes. To ensure a lasting impression, opt for long-lasting perfumes that seamlessly blend sophistication with endurance. By following these three guidelines, you'll be well on your way to discovering the ideal fragrance that not only aligns with your personality but also leaves a lasting and memorable trail. Happy scent hunting!

what's an appropriate way to say thank you to a coworker who brought you a sample of the cologne your blorbo is [most probably] using????????????
Tumblr media
it's a super interesting scent btw!!! from the bottle it's very lemony, a lot of cypress, pine(?), and off the bat it almost smelled a bit like honey on my skin?? there is a lot going on in it, and at first it seemed sweet, but once it calms down, most of this early sweetness is gone (there is still a tiny bit that lingers though, which is really nice), and the bitter, fresh parts with the sea vibes take over. it's very elegant, clean, yet unique. there is a vibrant streak to it, but it smells old school, like a classic. after about an hour it got deeper on me, and more spice appeared, which was very lovely. it also has a very prominent layer of that usual masculine scent most male fragrances have, while still being airy, so it's not that in your face feeling, but the one that really draws you in instead. overall the mediterranean description is spot on. a massive W in my eyes

Hi Clari what type of perfume do you and your bf use? Cause I use a bunch and bf usually smells like whiskey and cigarettes and I usually try to spray him with one of mine since my nostrils are extremely sensitive and he makes my nose scrunch up I always been the sweet sugary girl and he’s much of the sour and strong. He still loves me and I still love him he’s such a daddy material ahhh I love him sm.
hi!!! so my favourite perfume ever & my ‘signature scent’ is jimmy choo eau de toilette which, to me, smells like freshly washed white linen hung out to dry on a crisp summer day HAHAHA. the other fragrance i wear often is jimmy choo eau de parfum, which is a lot sweeter n rly flirty + playful to me. i am really loyal to these two fragrances and i don’t really wear much else, but the other perfume i love is ysl black opium eau de parfum! v sexy, great for a night out imo.
my boyfriend has a very sensitive nose and he doesn’t like things that smell too strongly so he doesn’t wear anything other than standard deodorant, with old spice being the brand he favours (idk the specifics, he switches between a few of them). other than that, he naturally smells like clean laundry & whiskey when he decides to have a glass at night! c:

we ended up catching up with a bunch of Dracula Daily emails earlier and cleaning part of our room a little bit and I've noticed over the last few days we've had the urge to talk to people more (not quite managed to actually do that but still) and the motivation to actually do stuff we enjoy as well as the tasks on our to-do list instead of just sitting there dissociating or being unable to decide what to do, and I have no idea where this came from but it's really nice
