Biography: Perfectly Ultimate may be younger than her sister, but she's still a Great Moth few would dare to mess with! Much like her two-tusked sister, Perfectly Ultimate has control over the wind and poisons her opponents with her powerful wings! However, due to a waxy covering on her wings, she's less vulnerable to Water and Electric attacks. However, this comes at a price, she's quadruple weak to Fire attacks, as her waxy wings are highly flammable.

The two command the skies of the Hive, and have seniority as one of the oldest Insects that serve Insect Queen.

They're among the first to impose her will, and the villages within Beetle Woods are those that feel the most of their wrath and destruction! Fortunately for the villages, there are those that live in this dense forest that defend against their onslaught.

The most noted of their enemies are the Shinobi Trio of Ansatsu, Strike Ninja and Armed Ninja, three Kindred masters of ninjutsu, and have often assassinated many of their commanders as they try to conquer other lands such as Murderwood.

Even with these enemies, very few mortals dare stand in the way of these two moths, their shadows are usually the last thing most see before joining the choir invisible!

Hi Keyseeker! Just wondering if you could recommend any reveal fics that have the LS talking it out afterwards? Or just, don't end immediately? So many fics include a great build up, full of misunderstandings and shenanigans, do the reveal, and then just...end. And the tension is never really addressed! And I just feel...left hanging. I don't know, is this just me? In any case, no pressure but was just wondering if you've come across any that linger around after the reveal. Not necessarily prpr, which is kind of its own category IMO. Am I making sense? Thanks either way in advance!

Perfectly Platonic (Unless...) by @frostedpuffs

After accidentally revealing their identities in less than ideal circumstances, Adrien and Marinette must navigate their newfound relationship as both partners and friends. Becoming best friends was a quick process, but when romantic feelings begin to bleed into what's supposed to be a platonic connection, their friendship starts to change in more ways than one. Surely it can't be that hard to hide their feelings from their best friend? (A post-reveal, pre-relationship fic full of romantic crushes, best friend shenanigans, and a whole lot of dumbassery.)

If you just want a straight-up romance slowburn with these two just somehow being convinced their relationship is platonic (or that the other person wants it to be platonic at least), you'll find little better to scratch that itch than "Perfectly Platonic (Unless...)". It's a little smutty and definitely earns its M rating because of that. If you want mutual pining, there's a ton of that here!

When Chat Noir gets turned into a baby all seems lost to Ladybug....or is it?

So despite what the name and the summary makes it sound like, this fic is less about Chat Noir and Ladybug, and more about their parents, with Gabriel and Nathalie discovering that baby!Chat Noir is Adrien, and Tom and Sabine finding out that baby!Ladybug is Marinette. Needless to say, neither group are happy about their discovery.

I loved seeing the parents work things out here. While most ML fics are about Adrien and Marinette driving the plot and ultimately, the resolution (for obvious reasons), in this case, we get to see the adults being reasonable and competent, and doing their best with this new situation they've been thrown into.

This takes place post-Hack-San. Ladybug hands Chat Noir a potion she brewed which accidentally turns him into a kid without any of his memories. How is she going to keep an eye on a miniature Chat Noir while trying to keep their secret identities intact? Or the more pressing concern- how will she preserve her sanity when faced with the overwhelming cuteness and innocence that is her now de-aged partner?

I loved this fic, it's adorable and heart-wrenching. Adrien doesn't understand what's going on, but he still enjoys being around Marinette and the rest of his friends, and they just keep on hearing more and more little things that make them increasingly worried about Chat Noir's childhood.

The Parable of the Caller by @nemaliwrites

A week after Hawk Moth’s identity has been revealed, Adrien finds himself with nowhere to go, nothing he can do, and worst of all, strange gaps in his memory he can’t explain. In a stroke of luck, he stumbles upon a burner phone filled with voicemails from one of the Saviors of Paris: Chat Noir himself, who disappeared following Hawk Moth’s arrest.

But with each new voicemail Adrien listens to, he’s forced to confront the fact that there might be some kind of connection between himself and Chat Noir ��� and discovering it might leave him more broken than before.

I absolutely adore this fic, it’s a fantastic character study for Adrien! Basically in this universe, Ladybug and Chat Noir talked about who should be Guardian, with Chat eventually convincing her that he should be the one to take it on, primarily due to the whole “the Guardian gets amnesia about Miraculous-related matters” situation, and wanting to protect Ladybug from that. Then he finds out Gabriel is Hawk Moth, they take him down, and he relinquishes the Miracle Box and his guardianship to Su Han - all without having a Reveal with Ladybug, since well, he’s not in the greatest shape mentally at the time.

It’s a real treat to see Adrien’s thoughts and feelings about one of the Heroes of Paris leaving him all these voicemails, treating him like this close friend for reasons he doesn’t understand, and just seeing Chat Noir as this outside person. He’s got a very different viewpoint on Chat when looking from the outside than he would from the inside, with being able to see his heroic and good qualities far more easily when he doesn’t know that he is Chat.

Also Marinette’s struggling in the background of the fic with the loss of her partner and guilt over sending Adrien’s father to prison. It gets touched on at various points, and you can tell that she’s having her own story off to the side that we’re just not entirely privy to, what with this tale being told entirely from Adrien’s perspective.

Especially with Adrien having been lied to extensively by his father, and not knowing who or what to believe.

And if Chat Noir didn’t want to talk to her, then she’d need to find a different way to prove all three of them could be a team. Her plan unintentionally brings a few secrets to light, which leads to even more secrets coming to light, which leads to... well, Alya is sure it'll all work out eventually.

This is a season 4 fic, with a heavy emphasis on repairing the relationships that were damaged, or could have been damaged, during that season. I love how everyone gets to really feel and react, be hurt and then gain understanding, with a happy ending to cap it off!

There's a lot of value in beauty. It gets the short end of the stick because the good parts of beauty are so immediately evident that it makes the bad parts more conversation-worthy. Not a lot of morals out there like, "Beauty is a great thing and you should appreciate it!" because everyone already does by default.

But it is complicated. Beauty is like a work of art. It takes blood, sweat, and tears to manufacture an aesthetic precisely to the (often unreasonable) standards of society - and once it's done, it has to be cared for and maintained lest it begin to degrade over time.

And no one appreciates it. They think it just happens. Like it emerged fully formed into the universe one day. It's easy to fall for a pretty aesthetic painted over a rotten core because we're already so busy taking beauty for granted that nobody ever engages with what it means in the first place.

The sex is there to draw in the crowds who keep insisting on our sexual desires, like moths to the flame, and the missionary is the first sign of how deeply deeply wrong they are.

In the eyes of the laymen this act is the ultimate sign of the two bitter rivals being truly infatuated with each other, it signals the end of the pining, of beating around the bush. Witnessing this act would deliver them the catharsis they've been wanting for for the longest time. Surely, they would be delivered on that front, right?

However, when the two start, it turns out to be in the form of missionary. Now, missionary? Entirely valid, perfectly functional, no doubt a great time had between allo's in love. However, these two rivals are larger than life. Every encounter has had a death-toll, they've made innovations in weaponry techniques just to one-up the other, they are littered with scars given to them by the other, they come up with the most complex schemes that would fall apart with anyone else but works on their rival because they know them inside and out; every flaw, every assumption, every insecurity. And yet, all of that creativity is gone in this moment of would be passion. No schemes, no ulterior motive, no props, no back and forth on who has the upper hand, no nothing. There's not even a top or a bottom; they're doing this sideways!

This disturbing revelation leads the laymen to look deeper at the horror they are witnessing. The room is lit with cold white lights, evoking the look of a surgical theater. The bed is actually two single beds pushed together, there's enough in this room for them to have slept separately, they have only been pushed together for this one instance. There are no sounds being made during the act, not even a grunt, not even a creak of the bed. The two stare at each other with neutral, hollow eyes; no defiance, no smugness, no pleasure and no pain. Neither are out of breath, they use minimum amount of energy necessary to qualify the act as sex is being carried out. They're holding each other, which initially gives the laymen some hope, however there is no tenderness or power to the grip; its simply to provide leverage to get the act done.

An eternity of horror ends after 23 seconds. One rival lets out a loud exhale through their nose, but besides that no vocalizations are made. With expressions as cold and neutral as ever, both dress themselves and leave through separate doors (this bedroom belonged to neither of them, no one knows where this is).

The effects on the greater world are immediate. No new shipping materials are made of the two rivals effective immediately. Furthermore, all existing material is retroactively erased from all records due to how disturbing this incident was. All future references call them enemies, with no double meaning behind the words. If someone were to consider there might be an underlying passion to the rivalry the whole room goes quiet, shooting angry looks at the unfortunate individual. They are never seen again.

And that is how I would let the world know me and my enemy were not into each other

Having unlocked Recipe Duels at long last, today was spent playing those against a deck that literally can't play the game, so that I could easily complete the unlock requirements for NPCs I still needed, such as summoning Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth and Majestic Red Dragon. This means the only things I have left to do are get 50% of all duel bonuses, play 150 tag duels, and 75 turbo duels. I'm putting off the last two, which means I'm focusing on bonuses right now. Twice now I've thought I'd gotten enough only to find that I apparently miscounted somehow (though the second time I recounted and I SHOULD have enough, unless I miscounted again) so tomorrow I'm going to try to get that done so I'm not worrying about it anymore. From there I have done 86 tag duels and 38 turbo duels as of now, so I'll hit the grind on those. The saving grace here is that I don't need to WIN the duels, I just need to have them played and finished, so if a duel is taking too long or I just get impatient I can surrender as soon as the game lets me and it'll count. Once that's done I'll have theoretical access to every card in the game and can work towards completing my collection so I can start building any possible deck I want. Here's hoping I can get all this done within a couple more days!

Biography: Flying beautifully into battle, Great Moth and her sister Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth are a deadly combo that can choke enemies to death with their poisonous scales! One of the first generals hatched by Insect Queen, Great Moth is the older of the two, but has less power by comparison.

Her power over the wind makes her capable of laying waste to all in her path, and has a single-minded mental state. Unfortunately, this makes her less than a skillful tactician, and her weakness to electric attacks make her hard to use against the likes of Sanga of the Thunder or Thunder Nyan-Nyan.

And she's made many enemies over her tenure, including many citizens of the kingdom of Murderwood. That said, never take her or her sister lightly, they will wipe out all in their path in the name of her queen!
