Yes the slamming against the wall, yes the push onto the couch, yes the pulling the underwear with his teeth, yes the nod of consent. Absolutely!! They're very deserved popular highlights of a scene that is perfect from start to end.

But as someone who had rewatched it on loop for days, can I offer you some more? It`s not like we have achieved full insanity with this scene yet. There`s more potential to it. There`s infinite potential to it.

So here are my personal highlights:

Joke's smug grin before kissing Jack

Jack's indentations on Joke's torso

The force with which Jack threw those pants,, (and Joke. And Joke's little expectant expression for the cherry on top)

Joke wetting his lips before kissing Jack again

Jack grabbing Joke's chin to pull him back into a kisskjdfl,kmnd,lmddf (this one made me Especially insane)

Joke biting his lips AND Jack once again grabbing Joke's chin like THAT I swear to god I fully expected a small slap after it I think I'd have instantly passed away if it happened

Am I the only one who lost their mind for these extremely specific and small details? No? Good.

Episode 22 does a great job of highlighting how insecure Faifa actually is.

He has zero reason to believe Wine still likes Tor — Zero reason to think that Wine would go with Tor, and yet the second Tor is introduced Faifa has already decided to give up on everything because how could Wine want him.

Faifa wants Wine to be happy, and how could Wine be truly happy with him.

Fai instantly abandoned his entire plan over a single meeting with Tor.

Poor guy has no self esteem, he just masks really well with forced joy and smiles

I watched Electric Dreams for the first time the other night (because of the poster I drew the last robot fidds post) and OUGH....

Design concepts for StEx OCs based on Starset songs. This is purely self-indulgent lol

I have so many ideas for more, but these are just the first four concepts I made. No outfits yet because I was just focused on getting the vibes down first. This also doubled an exercise for me to try nailing down how I stylize StEx designs, which I think went pretty well.

Also worth mentioning that these designs aren’t really based on any one StEx production, because I personally didn’t that they all have their merits in terms of costume and character design. I kind of just blend the elements I like from all of them with a few of my own personal touches and design philosophies.

First and fourth are probably my favorite (unsurprisingly, given how much I love using color in designs and how I took more design inspiration for those two from specific lyrics throughout their respective songs). In order, the song they’re based on and the type of train they are is Perfect Machine (Electric Engine), This Endless Endeavor (Coal Tender), TokSik (Nuclear Waste Transport Railcar), and Solstice (Dome Car).

Funnily enough, originally the design for This Endless Endeavor was intended to be Solstice, but it just didn’t feel right. I liked what I had enough that I instead went back and tweaked the design to fit TEE so I could keep it and just took another shot at designing Solstice. Perfect Machine was also intended to be primarily monochrome with just a few bright accents, but I ended up going a little overboard instead lol. I can’t resist adding color and patterns to things, it seems. I also tried to blend some of the more mechanical aspects with the drag/makeup aspects of StEx designs, though I think I lean a little heavier to the latter side of that.

Eventually, I may go through and make fullbodies for these designs because I actually want to try creating at least a partial lineup of Starset song inspired characters. When I do so, I may also go through and explain some of the smaller details I added to a few of them and why. I will also eventually come up with names for those assigned songs that wouldn’t really work as a name. For now, Perfect Machine and Solstice will be remaining as the first and fourth’s names and TokSik will be changed to Waste. I have not decided what I will do with TEE yet, though. I’ll go back and add his tag once I figure it out.

oofuri thought that just occurred to me: tajima and mihashi roommates. Can you imagine what mealtimes would be like in their house?

i'm actually a huge fan of the idea that ren and yuu become roommates after hs bc i so think they'd get scouted by the same university. the way i see it ren has a rich ass grandpa for a reason -> pay his rent and foot his grocery bill. NOW GRAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!

Panel 3 Hettie Cutburn (who has old Hollywood style text announcing "surprise Hettie Cutburn!" next to her) says "Darius! Of course! Took some digging but I found them eventually. Tell the boy I say 'hi!'". Panel four- she hands documents labeled "classified" to Darius. Later, Hunter (post timeskip) walks through a door in Darius' home, saying "hey Darius, hey Eber, I'm ba-". Next panel- Darius, Willow, and Eberwolf on the couch. Hunter says "...willow?", She replies "hey hunter!", he asks "what are you guys doing?

Darius says "oh nothing...except looking at pictures of you as a baby!" Holding up the documents from earlier. We see two pictures of a younger hunter framed like panels- the first is of hunter as a baby/toddler aged hunter freshly sprouted out of the ground with a blanket around him, covered in dirt, while the second one shows a young scout Hunter covered in bandages receiving his sprig plushie. Darius' narration reads "courtesy of Hettie Cutburn- she found the only surviving copy of your early life medical records and gave them to me". Willow says "aww, you were so cute!". The final panel shows Hunter looking embarrassed/stunned as Willow takes a photo of the documents, and Darius says "I'm considering it an early father's day present- so, thank you, Hunter". End ID]

She's Thunderstorms

"I remember writing this one when there was a storm going on. They get like mad storms over there [in New York], like, apocalyptic. I’m always trying to think of different interesting ways to like describe somebody but compliment them too. So in that one, I like the idea that she’s not even a thunderstorm, she’s more than one. I quite like the fact she’s plural. ‘Thunderstorms’ meaning just, y’know, awesome!"
