Panel 3 Hettie Cutburn (who has old Hollywood style text announcing "surprise Hettie Cutburn!" next to her) says "Darius! Of course! Took some digging but I found them eventually. Tell the boy I say 'hi!'". Panel four- she hands documents labeled "classified" to Darius. Later, Hunter (post timeskip) walks through a door in Darius' home, saying "hey Darius, hey Eber, I'm ba-". Next panel- Darius, Willow, and Eberwolf on the couch. Hunter says "...willow?", She replies "hey hunter!", he asks "what are you guys doing?

Darius says "oh nothing...except looking at pictures of you as a baby!" Holding up the documents from earlier. We see two pictures of a younger hunter framed like panels- the first is of hunter as a baby/toddler aged hunter freshly sprouted out of the ground with a blanket around him, covered in dirt, while the second one shows a young scout Hunter covered in bandages receiving his sprig plushie. Darius' narration reads "courtesy of Hettie Cutburn- she found the only surviving copy of your early life medical records and gave them to me". Willow says "aww, you were so cute!". The final panel shows Hunter looking embarrassed/stunned as Willow takes a photo of the documents, and Darius says "I'm considering it an early father's day present- so, thank you, Hunter". End ID]

Darius, in the evening, after Hunter gave him a fathers day present in the morning: wait ... does that mean he sees me as his father?

Eberwolf, sitting next to him: You needed a day to realize that?

Darius having a dad crisis: I have a son and I love him so much!

So, this is what I did for the first Dadrius week day of 2023 which was invented by @sergeantsporks (I love all your dadrius one shots!!!!! They are great!!!!!!) ...

it's not perfekt or a lot but I felt like doing it ;)

1. Puppet - Darius is a puppet now, and he dreams. 2. Sewing - Darius and Hunter finally have time for their sewing lessons. 3. Secrets - Darius compares the two Golden Guards and is confronted with feelings he doesn't know how to handle. 4. Separated - Hunter is missing and Darius feels more than responsible. 5. Grimwalker - 'What was the saying? Ignorance is bliss?' 6. Tag Team - Taking down your enemies is apparently a quality parent-child bonding activity. 7. Relax - Darius, Hunter, and Eberwolf have a long-deserved off day.

Notes:

Saw the Dadrius week going around and I really wanted to participate, sadly I didn't have time to finish anything on time 😢 you know, irl stuff and all those good things. However, it's here now! Better late than never am I right?

Dadrius Week Day 2- Sewing I've done a lot of sewing lesson art so I thought of Darius and Hunter on vacation and somehow Darius got hurt. Hunter's happy to show off his sewing skills (Darius is ok he's just trying not to freak out). Hunter's helping with some information.

Any sort of media is welcome. Fanfic, fanart, edits, playlists, moodboards, whatever form your art takes, we're happy to have it!

As always, prompts don't have to be done in order, and there is no pressure to finish within the week, or even finish all the prompts at all. Whenever and whatever you feel like completing is incredible, and we're happy to have it!

💜 Dadrius Week 2024 - Day 7 💛 (Relax)

One night, when Darius was walking past Hunter's room, he noticed from under his door sill that his room light was still on.

Slowly opening his room door, he saw Hunter with his head down, fast asleep at his desk.

Smiling at the sight, he gently closed the door and approached the blonde.

A small gasp escapes him when he sees a wooden carving that looks like an abomination blob with his name engraved into it.

Darius was taken aback by the gift that was clearly crafted for him.

With a gentle sigh, Darius carefully picked up Hunter and placed him in his bed, being as careful as possible before draping his blanket over him.
