⋐ Phineas met you through his doctor degree, you both studied together. You were supposed classmates, he often kept you at arms's length, mainly cause he himself is reserved, but also to kind of protect you from his blood, he had no idea if he had a cut anywhere..He does to everyone he meets..

⋐ You and him slowly became friends and becoming friends with him took some time as the Lapileons are always more than distanced people, they barely make friends due to the fear of their blood going out and being revealed, it would put not only them in danger but a lot of others as well.

⋐ He would try to push you away, but after you showed no sign of wanting to do such a thing, he decided to give it a try, but was EXTREMELY careful around you, he never wanted you to be hurt.

⋐ He seeked you out at times when he felt he wouldn't be good enough. Phineas also began thinking of you as his precious little flower, you're so innocent and kind, not knowing what was concealed behind the Lapileon family's perfect image...

⋐ You didn't need to know that, not now atleast. What if you run away, Phineas can't have that now, can he? He would have you completely dependent on him, until he knows you won't leave him, before he kidnaps you.

⋐ He is gonna make sure to use Gin to his full extent, he's a shitty person hitting his kid, hiding her, abusing her ,using their blood for wrong things. What's one more thing of being shitty? He will make sure you have the completely and most perfect stay in his arms since it's gonna be your home from now.

⋐ Will guilt trip you, Islette and Celphi are close to you, they're kids they will tattle tale to Phineas and adults for anything you do. They love you, you're a family now. Worry not, everyone approves; Gloria, Therdeo, Pereshati and others, so you don't have to think about anything.

⋐ Will constantly check himself and other, other than Pereshati, for any single cut that will allow his blood out, is thinking of having Pereshati share some blood to you so you can be immune to their blood like she is, Pereshati is excited for that, you're her sibling-figure even if you don't accept it!

⋐ He is refusing to let anyone other than family be near you, he's thinking of actually moving in the manor instead of being away since it will help him to make sure the whole family is making sure you're with him

⋐ He is SO SO SO paranoid about you, cannot be away from you for even more than an hour, he has to be in you at this point and not only in the sexual way, but also the literal sense, he does want a kid afterall....bu he'll settle for snuggling inside you shirt.

Characters I think would've gotten along with Rashta.

Helena

She's such a sweet heart! 🤧 this was the same girl who had a change of view of og Eris who she was resenting for mistreating her, after seeing her crying and even when she was treated horribly she still had a heart of gold. So if she met Rashta (albeit at the right moment) I know she would've extended a hand. They probably would be besties.

Ruby

Honestly Ruby was a whole new perspective of the typical og fl or in general damsels who are often made fun of for not being badass. I've even seen some people say she's like the good version of Rashta so yeah, Ruby would definitely have empathy for Rashta and would probably bond over their hardships.

Aisha

Aisha is literally the good old fashioned saintess with a kind personality and the belief that everyone deserves a chance. She would have understood the situation and as long as Aisha met Rashta before she started going too far in protecting her position. Aisha would've helped Rashta steer back to her humanity and let her improve who she is as a person.

Adelaide

Adelaide is a true girls girl, the moment she learned what Diane was going through she didn't see her as an enemy and even felt a little bad for her. So let's just say it was Karl who brought over Rashta as a mistress, and Adelaide finds out at some point that she was a slave. First off she'd be calling for slavery to be abolished given that she was proven to be upset that the poor people were living in such dangerous conditions, second off she'd probably show Rashta more understanding and it could bloom into a sisterly relationship.

Pereshati

I love her so much!! Not only is Pereshati a girls girl but as a very motherly figure herself I just know she would have reigned absolute hell over the Rimwell family after hearing about the dead baby they gave Rashta after she gave birth. Just saying if she was able to deliver justice to her step family even when it all seemed hopeless then she would put Lotteshu in his place. Shs would've been an amazing aunt to Ian and Glorym 😢

Edith

like a lot of these characters, It would really depend based on WHEN Edith meets Rashta but if they met when Rashta was still a concubine and had yet to commit any crimes I think they would've gotten along. Edith was already treating Rhyse with the utmost respect and friendship so I could imagine Edith would feel for Rashta. Ngl I could see them shopping together.

Yerenica

Those 2 would be great friends plain in simple, Just two silly little girl failures. Plus I think it would be very in character for Yerenica because her whole thing is trying to stop a depressing future where most of her favorite characters die so becoming friends with the villainess so she doesn't end up on a dark path and her so her children don't wind up being ashamed of their mother would fit well with Yeni.

honestly in another universe this trio would absolutely slap.

Been reading my in-laws are obsessed with me and I think it's one of my all-time favourites.

I was afraid that Therdeo, the ML, was gonna turn out like all those other annoying Duke of North MLs but was pleasantly surprised with his overall character because while he does have the stereotypical characteristics and messes up quite a lot, it feels different. It feels more like an actual traumatized man fumbling to understand his feelings and make them clear while avoiding misunderstandings (and failing miserably for quite a while).

Pereshati, the FL, is literally so well-written and amazing. Her anxieties and paranoia made the whole time travel situation feel so much more real. Like if someone time travelled in real life, especially within such a short period of time, they would have their doubts. They would think that it was just an overly vivid dream or deja vu and Pereshati does just that. She doubts herself for so long until she gets concrete proof (pun fully intended lol) and even then struggles with her overall situation. Everything about her feels human and she's so well written.

The way their relationship develops is slow and frustrating at times but it's really amazing and seeing their romance slowly bloom from a relationship that was initially transactional in nature is honestly heartwarming.

Not to mention how beautiful the art for the webtoon is. The artist manages to convey emotions and struggles using facial expressions and body language so well it's truly amazing.

Highly recommend this webtoon, it's well-written and sweet and the plot is really intriguing. Watching Pereshati connect the dots and begin to get a clearer picture of everything that is happening is really great.

Anyways, I've been playing around with picrew for the last few days so I made one for Pereshati using this image maker and I think it looks really pretty!

I did the best that I could with the tools available lol but I think it looks kinda pretty. I wish I could add her golden eyes though, they're honestly beautiful. Eh, whatever.

Anyways, despite the horrendous title, this story is honestly amazing and well-written and wish people talked about it more. Highly recommended lol.

I won't go into too much detail on Chapter 115-116 yet (I'll wait until a crucial point is revealed), but um just know that I love her and her capacity to think calmly, critically, logically and do her research ahead of time in the worst situation possible and also very kind and too polite to the nobles who annoy the readers and her.

You can call me the president of her fanclub since Therdeo already gets spouse privileges and the Lapileons are her in-laws.

How I imagine a Pereshati vs Dodolea confrontation would go

MILAOWM does villainesses right.

My favorite characters in a lot of manhwa tend to be the white lotus villainesses, and as much as I'm glad to call them my favorites this doesn't look good on the author since their protagonists were either too boring or mary sueish to care about or the villainess was just the lesser of the two evils.

So when My in laws are obsessed with me brought in Dodolea and Pereshatis step mom and sister, I was impressed that I couldn't say I even liked them remotely.

I'll Start with Dodolea, the princess who is obsessed with Therdeo to concerning degrees, she isn't much at first and it's easy to brush her off as just another evil woman to rival Pereshati, she's bratty and annoying when we meet her, right away you already see how different she is to Pereshati besides personality, because Dodolea shows up in a Gothic Lolita sort of look wheras Pereshati wore light spring dresses before becoming well integrated with the Lapileons. Which I interept as Dodoleas desperation to be Therdeos wife by wearing very dark and muted clothes which fail since they still stand out so much with all the accessories, revealing how much she tries too hard in her goals to be Therdeos one and only

But after the tantrum that could only be rivaled by Veruca Salt herself, that bratty personality is replaced with something far more sinister, when she shows up multiple times there's something so uncanny about her especially when she's laying on barely veiled passive aggressivenes to Pereshati,

but that all pales in comparison to what went down in chapters 64 and 66

At first glance, you'd think "okay she's laughing at him, that's a dick move but it's not so bad" but it's the fact that she knows Therdeo is uncomfortable by her presence and yet she relished in it, she even receives a cup that is very reminiscent of the one revealed to be used to drug Therdeo.

And in chapter 66, it's revealed she drugged him so she could assault him, which would have happened If Therdeo didn't wake up in time. So rereading chapter 64 is even more disturbing when you realize Dodolea is aware of her actions and how they affected Therdeo and yet she not only doesn't care but she LAUGHS! that's pure psychopath level behavior right there.

Dodolea even succeeds in aranging Pereshatis "death" after passing off Lapileon blood as medicine and if it werent for the whole time enigma, she would have succeeded with no ounce of remorse in those big ass green eyes.

Next are the step family, Reina and her mom Lilian who give a whole new meaning to Cinderellas evil step mom and sisters.

Lilian isn't just any evil step mother who mistreated Pereshati since day 1, she was actually very gentle with Pereshati growing up, to the point where I wonder if there was ever a point where she really did love Pereshati like a daughter

She goes so far in her act it's eerily convincing even her expressions don't look obviously feigned, they look and feel real

She even goes as far as letting her hand get burned by hot tea to really sell the act, let me repeat myself she INJURED herself to gaslight Pereshati and feign the role of the regretful stepmom

With such dedication it's no wonder Pereshati started to self doubt and believe that she must've been crazy, and honestly, I was convinced for a second that they were on their way to redemption.

And Reina, good god Reina! Even though I think she's the weakest out of the three on this list, she still pulls it off so well. Her emotions aren't all acts because some of them are real, the ones after the trial where her mother is being arrested and sent to a convent are so raw and real but even in her grief she's still trying to manipulate Pereshati, guilt tripping her while pleading with her to make everything better again

There isn't much to say on Reina but for the few times she's on screen, she's putting on such a show.

But you know what all these women have in common? I actually hate them, I want to see their downfall. That's how it should be with villains, you want to see them fail, to get their comeuppance, anything to give them Karma! In the past that intention never succeeded because most other authors only want easy to hate villainesses without any effort, just the same cartoony twirly mustache villains with a low IQ stat so they can be easily defeated, but here, not only do I want to see them fail their karma feels so much more satisfying since they actually felt like an obstacle that needed effort to defeat. That is what a villain should be.
