people knew not to mess with the hook family. it’s a bit of an unspoken rule at this point because c.j. was a conniving little thing, harold had little to no qualms stabbing people with his hook and the oldest of the bunch? it was widely known that harriet was the leader of dragon halls’ pirate gang and the captain of the mourning star. people knew that she would go down swinging for her siblings. it didn’t matter that harry ran with uma atlantica and gil legume, it didn’t matter that harriet was a liaison of her brother’s rival gang. if someone messed with her siblings, not only did they have to answer to harriet, but they would end up being stared down by a man with a hook and eyes as blue as forget-me-nots. the isle wasn’t where captain hook had wanted to end up and maybe he wasn’t as good a dad as he could’ve been - should’ve been - but one thing was clear as day to him, it always had been: nobody messed with his kids.

                One small frame watched another, the doorway-shadowed witch’s attention caught on the tiny sweeper.  It’d been a while since she’d set foot in the salon.  The last time was the first, a few years ago.  She’d come in as a teary-eyed tween for a remedy to her botched attempt at hiding her lye-ruined hair.  The sweeper’s mother (or had it been her aunt?) had been the one to fix it, and the child had been left to clean up the mess.  That was the last time Maddy had seen the smallest Tremaine until now.  After her move across the Isle, the witch avoided the area best she could.  But now that Bargain Castle was empty — and the Isle’s ‘throne’ had been taken by someone else, so she’d heard — she found it a bit easier to roam the streets.  Which was an issue related to her reason for making the trip into town today.  The purple roots that had grown back once again.  She cursed the magicless island.  Just one spell would keep the damned shade away for good.  But until she could fix it, the reminder stayed covered by the worn-out hood of her jacket.

                She'd come with hopes to find the woman that had helped her last time, but she wasn't among the few people in the salon.  Damn.  Maddy skirted around a customer as they left and she entered, calling out to the child with a hey! to get her attention. ��Goblins, if only she could remember her name.  Destiny?  Delphine?  No, that didn't sound right.  Each time she'd tuned Anthony out had come back to bite her.  “Is your mom around?”  The hood dropped, revealing the inch of purple at the top of her much-preferred green.  “I need another redo.”

   Harry 👏 and 👏 Hook 👏 have 👏 a good 👏 relationship. Harry looks up to his father, sure had made a lot mistakes in the past and he wasn’t always a good man but Hook has changed. He’s a good friend to Smee and he’s a good father to his kids. He also used to be a brave man, still is, and he was a great pirate. Harry wants to be like him.

She came the moment she sensed Mal needed her. She wasn’t feeling at home in Auradon and Maleficent knew she had to make her presence known; and so she shall. The woman sighed, her long wings dragging behind her as she emerged, green eyes wide with excitement. It had been so long since she’d seen that little face, and yet here she was. She didn’t even get to name her baby; and she was all grown up now. She kept her distance, but her glare soon focused on the lizard in the glass dome; the one who stole her child from her and Diaval in the first place. Maleficent soon felt the smaller faerie’s eyes on her and her gaze focused back on the child; her mouth drying up almost instantly. What could one possibly say to a child they’d waited so long to find once again?
