Peppermint Patty and Charlie Brown's relationship is really funny in a metatextual sense. Because Charles Schulz did EVERYTHING in his power to point to the idea that these two are endgame. Like while he did toy around with a lot of pairings with CB, the way he writes him with Peppermint Patty clearly shows that he viewed her as the one for him. It's not subtle. And yet, despite all of this.... pretty much everyone on the planet ships Patty with Marcie instead. That's like, a perfect metaphor for Charlie Brown's luck somehow.

I watched “One-of-a-kind Marcie”, and was comforted by how the sweet and wholesome messages of Peanuts haven’t changed in 73 years. If you have Apple TV and 40 minutes to spare, I definitely recommend watching, whether by yourself or with the family.

Sad to say that I have never watched or seen much of Snoopy growing up besides knowing that the dog is Snoopy and he has a bird friend and Charlie Brown is also there so finding out about Marcie and Peppermint Patty's friendship and just them as characters has done something to me that I can not convey into words
