#pepito is guapoduo’s son

i read someone saying how yesterday pepito was happy because he finally is bonding with q!roier and that makes my chest hurt because a lot of people said “oh, he’s just a replacement of bobby for q!roier” and let me tell you; no, he’s not, your thinking too low.

q!roier loves people and creates a special relationship with them, filled with nicknames, jokes, constant present, little details that he can remember at the time, the way he loves richas is different from how he loves bobby but is not better or worst, that’s why you can see how badly affected him when he lost them, not just his first child but the second one that is not fully his (from what he says about being his stepfather and not father), with pepito, he’s just scared to create a bond special as them.

he’s being mean as a copy mechanism, waiting if he can take care but stopping himself from being too special with the kid, in his words, he’s tired of being attached with those eggs and then feeling his life falling apart when they disappear. is not about having a favorite son, for him, is about not being in a vicious circle, having his heart always crushed down.

but jokes on him, he’s already loving that kid way more than he expected, sharing about his past life even if he feels at his worst now, making pepito help him with a whole city for bobby, visiting richas, talking about his desire of being with q!cellbit again.

Hace poco leí un post hablando de cómo la relación de q!roier es abusiva con Pepito y como no se debía dejar pasar como "experiencia latinoamericana" o por qué con Bobby también se trataban a putazos, y si bien estoy de acuerdo siento que es pasar muy por encima si queremos analizar el personaje.

Primero, y quiero dejar esto claro de inmediato, si este fuera un caso real créanme que sería de las personas que se unen a la caza de brujas contra un pendejo que trata a su hijo así, especialmente porque tuve mi propia probada de la "experiencia latinoamericana". Pero aquí hay algo que debo mencionar cuando se bromea y es que, al menos en mi caso, uno de mis mecanismos de defensa principales es "mis traumas mis chistes" ¿Minimizaria la experiencia de otra persona? Claro que no. Pero acá a lo que quería llegar es que son personajes ficticios. Si a alguien le llega a gatillar algo como esto está completamente bien que lo evite o algo así, cada uno lidia con estas cosas a su forma. 

Ahora ya internándome a lo que que es analizar a q!roier en si es que quiero dejar algo claro. Es mi personaje favorito, mi pov principal y todo eso, pero si hay algo que nunca diré es que es un cubito inocente o que no está mentalmente jodido. Siempre me he sentido más atraída por personajes así, que son tan jodidos, con tantas capas, que sabes perfectamente que está hecho de una forma moralmente mala pero muy humana. Un personaje que es 100% bueno o 100% malo se me hace tedioso y aburrido, así como también suelo ignorar a los personajes que hacen cosas jodidas pero se hacen los santos después.

Como leí en twitter, creo, si algo hay que aplaudirle a roier es que su personaje está hecho con mucha simplicidad pero de muy buena forma, tiene muchos matices en detalles pequeños pero aún así puede llegar a ser entretenido para la gente si ignora el lore y solo se concentra en esto como otro stream más.

En cuanto a lo relacionado a pepito, si, la forma en que ha actuado está jodida, no lo voy a negar. Pero eso es por que el personaje está muy jodido.

No esperaba más huevitos la verdad, pero no puedo decir que me sorprenda el cómo actúa q!roier.

Me explico, una de las comparaciones que se hace es con cómo crío a Bobby.

Si, era similar pero en esencia también distinto. Había menos diferencia de poder ya que era más un va y viene entre ambos, el cubito perdía menos la paciencia y no se iba directamente a la "chancla" por así resumirlo.

Pero, y aquí está lo que yo considero se ignora, es que si bien en ese momento q!roier estaba en su modo emo vengador y sospechosos de la existencia del huevito estaba muchísimo menos jodido mentalmente de lo que está ahora.

¿Eso quiere decir que tenemos que verlo como un santo? Para nada, pero va de acuerdo en el momento del personaje y por las experiencias que ha tenido que pasar, en un sentido narrativo es el camino más lógico.

También él nunca ha sido de los papás sobreprotectores de la isla, cuando empezaron los ataques le inculcó bien a Bobby el "vivir con miedo no es vivir" y lo pudo aplicar de forma correcta.

Ahora (y especialmente después del purgatorio) que lo aplique de forma incorrecta  y que proceda con violencia es esperable. Tuvo que luchar hasta matar contra las personas con las que tiene lazos más estrechos (q!cellbit, q!jaiden y q!foolish) y roier dejó clarísimo que eso afectó a su personaje con el cambio de skin. No sabe si alguna vez podrá compartir nuevamente con leo y richas, de hecho incluso sospecha que los que están en el egg hospital no sean lo que los demás creen, y para coronar la tormenta de mierda que fueron los últimos meses para el personaje no sabe si su esposo está muerto o no.

Y ya tuvo una mala experiencia teniendo esperanzas (con Bobby) . Así que ahora verse en una situación similar (teniendo esperanzas de que le devuelvan a esta persona importante para él) pero sin querer verse nuevamente desilusionado, y a parte tener que cuidar de un huevito frágil que depende completamente de él, hace que actúe de formas erráticas que ya se podían ver antes pero bien atenuadas por el optimismo al que se aferraba y el apoyo de sus seres queridos.

Pobre Pepito si, llegaba unos tres meses antes y su experiencia hubiese sido radicalmente diferente, con amor sano y sin los issues con los que quedará en la situación actual. Podemos teorizar por qué ahora pero en cosas concretas solo nos queda esperar a que los admins sigan cocinando lore.

En resumen q!roier no es un santo, él no se presenta como un santo, y quienes lo defendemos sabemos (al menos en mi caso) que es un personaje jodido y ahora está más hundido que nunca. Pero como dicen por ahí lo sigo en sus aciertos y errores, y de paso disfruto mucho analizarlo por qué es de mis mejores pasatiempos con estos personajes moralmente ambiguos que amo.

Podría seguir por mucho más analizando al cubito, sus relaciones y sus experiencias, pero prefiero dejarlo aquí.

Honestly what kills me (plot wise) is how... tragic this end is for guapoduo

Roier ended up tied up in some basement, alone, away from his family, failing to save his husband and in someone else's body. He started up as a silly guy that got backstabbed and betrayed, lost his son and never got the revenge he wanted against the people that did him wrong. In fact, he lost. He hated the federation and did his best to hide that and act silly and not let anyone but his husband trully know him, and he still got kidnapped and separated and robbed of his own body. Doesn't even know his husband is back.

Meanwhile cellbit came back... wrong. He has no fire left in him to fight back (even tho he is NOT accepting of his situation, we saw the way he made pepito kill that villager) and the reason he stayed in purgatory at all is because he was depressed to the point of wanting to die, and he also thought so little of himself he figured his husband, who called him his SOULMATE, was better off withoiut him. And when he came back ""roier"" confirmed that. He said yeah, I was sad, but I got better. Cellbit's fear was true. He wasn't the light of his husband's life after all.

They both got their worst ending possible. Separated, alone, and miserable.

q!Foolish era um chef renomado. Seus pratos eram conhecidos por serem extremamente criativos e elaborados, com ingredientes raros e montagens espetaculares. No entanto, um grande crítico aparece no Restaurante Titã e avalia cruel o prato que lhe foi servido — nada criativo, sem sabor, apenas uma bagunça para enganar os olhos e o estômago, mas esquisito acima de tudo. Isso acaba com q!Foolish, que desde então se recolheu para a sua mansão e nunca mais apareceu em seu próprio restaurante, deixando Titã para seu subchef, ElQuackity. Cinco anos se passaram desde da humilhação do grande chef e, do nada, um rapaz distraído e atrapalhado aparece no restaurante com uma carta em suas mãos. A carta era do ex de q!Foolish, q!Vegetta, já falecido, pedindo um emprego no restaurante para o seu filho, q!Roier. E inicialmente ele seria apenas um lixeiro, porém, surpreendendo a todos, ele acaba se intrometendo em um prato que acaba recebendo inúmeros elogios de uma crítica culinária que estava no restaurante naquele dia. Irritado e desconfiado,

ElQuackity ordena que seu Chef de partie, q!Cellbit, monitore e ensine q!Roier. Sendo que q!Cellbit é um dos poucos cozinheiros ali que não veio de família rica e recebeu aulas do próprio q!Foolish. Obviamente, o cozinheiro também não fica feliz com a atenção especial que q!Roier estava recebendo.

O que ninguém sabia era que q!Roier não fazia ideia também de como tinha feito aquele prato e como tinha ficado tão bom.

Ele apenas sabia que havia uma pequena salamandra (axolote) que ele apelidou de Pepito escondido de baixo de seu chapéu e de algum modo a criaturinha sabia cozinhar e, estranhamente, conseguia o controlar.

I was watching rattattui, ratatui, THE MOVIE ABOUT THE COOKING MOUSE and I thought of an AU Guapoduo:

q!Foolish was a renowned chef. His dishes were known for being extremely creative and elaborate, with rare ingredients and spectacular preparations. However, a great critic appears at Restaurante Titã and cruelly evaluates the dish he was served — nothing creative, no flavor, just a mess to deceive the eyes and the stomach, but weird above all.

This ends with q!Foolish, who has since retreated to his mansion and never appeared in his own restaurant again, leaving Titan to his sous chef, ElQuackity.

Five years have passed since the great chef's humiliation and, out of nowhere, a distracted and clumsy young man appears at the restaurant with a letter in his hands.

The letter was from q!Foolish's ex, q!Vegetta, now deceased, asking for a job at the restaurant for his son, q!Roier. And initially he would just be a garbage man, however, surprising everyone, he ends up meddling in a dish that ends up receiving countless praise from a culinary critic who was at the restaurant that day. Angry and suspicious, ElQuackity orders his Chef de partie, q!Cellbit, to monitor and teach q!Roier.

Since q!Cellbit is one of the few cooks there who didn't come from a rich family and received lessons from q!Foolish himself. Obviously, the cook is also not happy with the special attention that q!Roier was receiving.

What no one knew was that q!Roier also had no idea how he had made that dish and how it had turned out so good. He just knew that there was a small salamander (axolotl) that he nicknamed Pepito hidden under his hat and somehow the little creature knew how to cook and, strangely, could control him.

EVERY DUO AND FRIEND GROUP FROM PURGATORY IS SUFFERING!! THEY LIVE OFF OF SO LITTLE CONTENT TT at least they can make up whatever lore they want with the purgaotry cubitos... im shaking your friends hand for liking a rarepair TT we make the content all ourselves... life is so hard for us

YAAA THE ROYALTY AU (which is also a little medieval, it's like both so it's okay adsjkvnask)

baghera is the queen of her own kingdom!! everyone is human in this au but they have magic they specialize in and can create items to give them things that are sort of like wings!!

philza is a special case tho because his wife is the goddess of death so maybe she blesses his cape to act like wings or something... since baghera is a queen im sure she has the resources to find someone to make her a cape or item that works like wings because i feel like something like that would be super hard to make.

jaiden is a witch in this au and she doesn't live in any kingdom!! she lives sort of by herself surrounded by a rose garden and she uses a lot of nature magic which is focused on birds!! because of this and how long she's been studying it she's able to enchant herself a cloack that allows her to glide short distances :DD more similar to the paraglider in mineraft then an elytra. the feathers she used for her cloack were all shedded feathers she gets from her bird friends :]]

IVE NEVER SEEN OR HEARD OF OWL CELLBIT HCS BUT THAT'S SO COOL,,,,,, he would be so unnerving, imagine he can turn his head all around 360 like an actual owl advknaskja poor roier if he ever sees that,,,, he would scream so loud

after weeks i’m re-watching guapoduo/spiderbit povs and i noticed one thing that is so them; technically, they saw and shared each others mind literally.

the first one, obviously, is q!cellbit who, after q!roier respected the fact he has a special place —his own mind physically— and waited outside, let him in his most protected place to hang out together, having specials conversations after revealing q!cell’s traumas.

on q!roier side, in purgatory day twelve roier shared his screen and cellbit watched the whole thing, even if it was for the competition, i found so curious how if we bring that in a lore/canon context is like q!cellbit was on q!roier’s mind while he asked him to do things, fighting together for a win.

and now, where q!roier has like a mixed mind with q!quackity and q!cell, was q!cell who managed more of his actions, letting him as q!cell see richas again and take care of pepito as his new son (for this one, i prefer to consider like that day q!roier’s mind was so tired and missed his best friend and husband so much so as a copy mechanism he bringed their personalities, even if q!cell said he was q!roier, it was to cover his mental state to others. we know q!roier has different voices in his mind canonically).

in the case of q!cellbit he let q!roier know his physically mind to share his story, stay together with his son and even decor the walls with some drawings q!roier does to support his husband when he just wants to be in that place alone. for q!roier side, he let q!cellbit know his mind in his most vulnerable state, purgatory and after purgatory, where he just needs someone there too to not handle all his responsibilities alone.
