Oh! I almost forgot! I had an idea for a rewrite of this episode. Basically instead of Rolland getting akumatized, a different akuma shows up that's far too hard for Ladybug, Chat Noir, and any aids they bring along. Grandpa Rolland takes matters into his own hands, dons a superhero suit that's literally just the same as his Simpleman fit but not as blue, and beats the stuffing out of the akuma. Ladybug and Chat Noir are baffled but just glad that it's over. Also the amount of kids Grandpa Rolland ends up looking after is inexplicably increased to Manon and all of the little siblings in Marinette's class. Ivan's little sister mentioned in the one card game. Rose's four gremlin little brothers I headcanon she has. Juleka's half-sibling twins from her father Gregory Steel. Nathaniel's first cousins once-removed but to make things simpler (ha!) he just calls them his nephew and niece. Audrey had a second affair and now there's a blond five-year-old in Paris. Jalil is there for some reason.

Happy Curmudgeons unveiled 3 new singles from the band’s upcoming album, “2nd Chances.”

As a band, Happy Curmudgeons set out to develop a truly diverse and expressive sound that continually welcomes new influences with every release. The music of the group knows no boundaries in terms of stylistic definitions and genres. They have been consistently exploring new ideas and new aesthetics with every release. Yet they still love to remember the 60s and 70s, and they have been influenced by the timeless sound of artists such as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, Cream, The Grateful Dead, Fleetwood Mac, and many more.

Happy Curmudgeons has recently signed with Spectra Music Group. The band is getting ready to release not one, but 3 new songs, which will be featured on their most recent full-length album, "2nd Chances," set to be released on July 26th, 2024. The singles are titled "Reluctant Prophets," "2nd Chances," and "Be Kind."

The Happy Curmudgeons have been working for a few years on their new album, "2nd Chances," and it's clear they're putting so much effort into making this the best album it could possibly be. The new songs blend different music genres and feature some amazing guest musicians, including Billy Cox (Band of Gypsys), Bobby Balderrama (? & The Mysterians), Jim Moose Brown (Bob Seger Band), Dave McMurray (Blue Note Records), Pepe Espinosa, and Vaughn Mortimer.  The album almost feels like a collection of true music legends! The guest musicians bring their unique influences, creating a vibrant backdrop for the main songwriting components to unfold. There's also room for some amazing additional instruments, including strings and horns on some of the tracks.

"Reluctant Prophets" features a guest appearance by Vaughn Mortimer from The Outfit and Big Donut, which brought a truly unique feel to the mix. For the title track, "2nd Chances," the group also opted to include a string section, which gave the track a truly emotional and airy quality, making it stand out.  The immersive and thought-provoking listening experience has something special to offer. This song is loaded with meaning while also being very engaging and entertaining.

It is not surprising that this is actually the title track itself! Mark Byerly arranged the string section. This song features Amy Dixon-Lavery on vocals, Dave Hamilton on acoustic guitar, Jeff Warner on electric guitar, Jim Moose Brown (from Bob Seger Band and Trisha Yearwood) on Hammond B3, Takashi Iio on bass, Rick Beamon on drums. In addition, the song features Laura Creamer, Cat Wiley, and Barbara Payton on backing vocals.

"Be Kind" has a unique horns section instead. The song also features  Dave McMurray (from Was Not Was, Bobby Weir, and the Rolling Stones) on saxophone and Mark Byerly on trumpet, who helped create some amazing additional layers to the music. This remarkably produced single is a perfect introduction to what people can expect from the aesthetics of this record.

The unique appeal of these songs lies in the band's skillful blending of timeless musical elements with modern influences. You can expect the clarity and punch of a modern recording, but without the sterile overproduction that plagues so much contemporary music. Instead, Happy Curmudgeons really managed to capture the timeless warmth of records the way it used to be made, where the personal interaction between musicians really matters And still does.

Overall, this full-length stands out as a truly ambitious project, and it heralds a new era for the band. Fresh off a label signing and a lot of fruitful recording sessions, they're about to release some of their best songs yet. The quality of the previously released singles speaks for itself, and if these songs are any indication, the album is surely going to be a treat for all fans of alt-country, indie-folk, rock, and more. The sheer variety on tap is impressive, and the band's ability to retain a flexible lineup with every song, as well as including many guest musicians, makes for an even more lively and unpredictably diverse sound. Ultimately, "2nd Chances" feels like a truly genuine depiction of the band's genuine passion for trying to bring a touch of authenticity and depth to their audience with every song on the album. It is easier said than done, but this one-of-a-kind band is certainly showing people the way.

The album is actually also available physically on vinyl. The Happy Curmudgeons teamed up with Jack White's Third Man Records to press a limited edition of 500 copies on red vinyl, which comes at $25 per copy. Incidentally, the band also worked with Third Man Records for the album mastering, which was done by Bill Skibbe.

Wearing a gas mask Daffy presents the candy. Pepe eats the candy as the room gathers greens vapors for once not coming from the skunk. The moment Pepe he tries it his face is horrified in tears he cries in agony “ why Daffy?!” Licking his tail to get the flavor off his tongue.

Mythique Rumba set the Molière theater on fire celebrating the 1 year anniversary of the inscription of the Congolese Rumba on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage. Artists of all generations performed an amazing set of rumba music with a live band of incredible quality! Exactly one year ago, on 14/12/2021, the Congolese rumba was inscribed on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage. The cradle of rumba is, of course, in the Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa) and the Republic of Congo (Brazzaville), but some important pages of Congolese rumba were also written in our country. The Congolese group Mythique Rumba Congolaise International (MRCI), Mythique Rumba for short, is celebrating in the heart of Matonge and is inviting some of the most prestigious names in rumba for a first “anniversary concert”. The guests will be revealed on our website as they become available. Mythique Rumba Congolaise Internationale (MRCI) is an orchestra specialising in Congolese rumba. It is composed of talented performers, some of whom are internationally renowned. The orchestra never ceases to popularise the great classics of this mythical and danceable music that highlights the African scene and continues to conquer the world. SING SANG SUNG : PRINCE #SingSangSung Prince Rogers Nelson (né le 7 juin 1958 à Minneapolis, US) est un musicien multi-instrumentiste, auteur-compositeur-interprète, arrangeur, producteur, danseur et acteur américain. MUSIQUE Prince "Cream" https://youtu.be/rrbFQEcpJ3A C'est son père qui lui donne le prénom de Prince parce qu'à l'époque, son nom de scène était Prince Rogers et il jouait avec un groupe de jazz appelé Prince Rogers Trio. Il rejoint avec son voisin Andre Anderson, son cousin, Charles Smith (connu sous André Cymone), dans le groupe 'Grand Central' alors qu'il est à l'école. Il y jouait du piano et de la guitare. En 1975, il rejoint le groupe de Pepe Willie, le mari de sa cousine, Shauntel, East 94. Prince s'embarque ensuite dans l'enregistrement d'un album au studio Moon Sound à Minneapolis, où le propriétaire, Chris Moon, impressionné par le talent du jeune musicien, lui propose de travailler sur des publicités en échange de sessions studio gratuites. Au fil des semaines, Prince passe de plus en plus de temps à produire des maquettes, sur lesquelles il joue de tous les instruments, abandonnant peu à peu son propre groupe, qui disparaît peu après. After her surprise debut "Mam Pe'ela Su'ure", Ghana's Frafra gospel queen Florence Adooni is back with her second single on Philophon. Born as Frafra in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti, she combines the best of both cultures into a unique fusion. The meandering, mostly pentatonic melodies of the Frafra glide over the high-life rhythm of the Ashanti with incredible ease. "Yinne" means The Creator and is one of the songs sung at the culmination of the Sunday service. Its driving rhythm usually guarantees a collective ecstasy in the community. "Fo Yelle", on the other hand, has more of a meditative effect on the listener. Its rather solemn rhythm leads you into tranquility and opens your soul to receive the divine spark.
