first of all CONGRATS ON 3K!! 💗😫 I've loved your Pepe work and I'm so checking out your other works 😭💗
saw the 3k celly and I couldn't resist myself 👉👈
how do we feel about a small Pepe blurb with the touch starved prompt: "one just casually sitting down on the other's lap and they start internally freaking the hell out" ??
furthermore,, could it be the reader being the one that is touch starved and Pepe just casually grabs em and sits them on his lap and is the reader the one freaking out?? 🤭
🍈 – send me a driver and a prompt from this list of hugging prompts, these touch starved prompts, or these kiss prompts, and i will write a short blurb for you!!
author's note: thank you so much!! and im glad you like them aaa 🥺 i loved this idea !!!! but lol i thought a blurb was 500 words, not 100-200. still doesnt explain why this is 1.2k. 😶 i had time over on my flight so this (and the paul "blurb" ive got scheduled for later) was the result. hope u enjoy :)
3k celly !!
(college!)pepe marti x reader
there are a lot of fun ways to spend a free saturday evening.
but being squeezed into a room with a bunch of drunk students, with music so loud you can barely think? not one of them.
you had been about to refuse your friend's suggestion to tag along, as you always do, before she had uttered the magic words. pepe will be there.
you were already planning outfits in your mind when the words left her mouth, suddenly feeling like no piece of clothing you own is enough to impress him. how could any piece of clothing ever be good enough for someone like him?
disappointment, though no surprise, fills you when your friend leaves you the second you enter the apartment of some guy in her physics class, to search for that other guy she's been crushing on for weeks now. so, here you are, in the living room belonging to some student you don't know, being pushed around by students you also don't know, with some song that you've never heard blasting from the speakers.
thankfully, even in a crowded apartment like this one, it isn't hard to find pepe. the sound of his sweet, intoxicating laughter can be heard from miles away.
he's sitting on a couch in the corner of the room, red solo cup in one hand and phone in the other. he's showing something on his phone to his best friend christian who's sitting next to him, his giggles sending a wave of relief through your body.
pepe's eyes light up when they meet yours, a sliver of surprise in his smile as you make your way over to him. he says your name like it's what he was made to do, like no other words have ever fallen from his lips. "i almost didn't believe your friend when she told me you'd join her tonight," he tells you. "i'm surprised."
"i'm full of surprises," you answer, tilting your head to the side slightly.
"of course you are. like that dress, very surprising." that statement isn't very surprising in itself; your friend, ever the fashionista, noticed your stress over your choice of outfit for the night instantly, lending you one of her favorite dresses with the words you'll look adorable, he won't be able to stay away. but the fact that pepe has noticed you enough to at least in some way collect an idea of the types of clothes you would and wouldn't wear is surprising to send a shiver down your spine. "you look great."
you can't control the redness that threatens to spread across your cheeks at that, but your gaze shifts to the ground to at least lessen some of your flusteredness. pepe doesn't miss the gentle smile that makes its way onto your lips, though. christian understands this as his cue to leave, jumping out of his seat and bolting away in just a second. pepe taps the now free spot on the couch, and you slip down next to him without another thought.
"did you get to the kitchen already?" he asks, gaze burning into the side of your face as you pretend like fixing the hem of your dress is something you actually need to do and not just a way to occupy yourself. "or do you want me to go get you something to drink?"
you shake your head, eyes flickering over to him again. "i'm alright for now, but thank you."
he nods over his cup, bringing it up to his lips to take a sip. the action has the muscles of his arm contracting and… has he always been this muscular, or is it just the light of the apartment? either way, he makes it look so casual – he probably doesn't know he's the object of your current mental assessment – as if the feeling of his jeans against your bare knee isn't distracting enough. "i'm glad you came," he says after he's lowered the cup. "the party was bound to be boring without you."
there it is again; that relief you felt earlier. a sliver of a confirmation that this thing that's been going on between you two these last few weeks isn't just one-sided. unless he's just toying with you, as you've heard certain men like to do, which doesn't exactly help soothe your worries.
but pepe isn't like that, you have to remind yourself. that's one of the reasons you fell for him in the first place; he's gentle in a way you can't credit a lot of men to being, like a mild breeze instead of a full-blown storm.
someone turns the music up even more, something you would've assumed was impossible a minute ago, as if to say you're thinking too much. fewer thoughts, please.
you take a deep breath, eyes meeting his. "i'm glad you're here, too."
"what?"
you let out a short laugh at the way his face contorts as he tries to hear what you're saying over the loud music. "i said," you start, voice growing louder. "i'm glad you're here, too."
pepe nods, though you're not sure if he actually understood or if he's just faking it, before saying something you have no chance of catching. you raise your eyebrows, tilting your head slightly and jokingly bringing a hand up to the back of your ear to hear him better. you did not expect him to lean forward, nor the warm huff of air that meets your ear when he speaks into it. "it's a little too loud, isn't it?"
you nod when he leans back to look at you, the corners of your lips tugging upward at the sight of his own smile. you shrug, trying to figure out a way to solve the issue; you came here to talk to him, not to just sit next to him all quietly because you can't hear each other. you gaze around the apartment, only to find a pair of speakers placed in about every corner of it, which brings back that disappointing feeling from when your friend left you just minutes ago.
but pepe has other plans. before you can interject, his hands find your hips and lift you up to straddle his thighs sideways. it's a swift motion, and he makes it seem like you weigh about five grams, leaving you pretty completely speechless. "i figured we'd hear each other better like this," he says, one hand reaching over to grab his cup again from where he must've placed it on a table nearby just moments ago, while his other hand stays planted on your hip. when you don't say anything, his eyes rake over your face, a hint of guilt in his expression. "sorry, is this okay?"
you take a deep breath, pushing the butterflies in your stomach away for just a moment and gathering the courage to nod. "yeah," you say, trying to sound as convincing as possible. "i just… wasn't expecting that."
the chuckle he lets out vibrates through your body, too. "well, get used to it." that damn smile of his appears again, the one you just can't stop yourself from mimicking. "i like having you close."
as his hand slips past your hip and around your waist, you allow yourself to lean into him a little, impressed by the way you find yourself enjoying your new seat very much.
impressed by the way it feels like this seat was made just for you.

VII. andante, andante
pepe marti x classmate!reader
a highschool crush turns into a slow and steady relationship
series masterlist | main masterlist
It all began with your friends’ relentless teasing during lunch break. You were laughing, completely oblivious to the underlying reason for their constant jibes and hints.
“Honestly, how can you not see it?” your best friend Mia said, exasperation lacing her tone.
“See what?” you replied, genuinely puzzled.
“Pepe Marti! He’s totally into you. He’s always watching you in class,” Mia declared, her voice lowering conspiratorially.
Your heart skipped a beat at the mention of his name. Pepe was a famous guy in your school. While you guys were spending hours in classrooms learning history and algebra, he was out racing in different countries, and he was doing pretty well. You’d always admired him from afar but never considered the possibility that he might notice you, let alone like you.
“No way,” you said, shaking your head. “He’s got so much going on with his racing. Why would he be interested in me?”
But the seed had been planted. You couldn’t help but replay moments in your mind—Pepe’s lingering gazes, the shy smiles he directed your way. Maybe your friends were right.
Days passed, and the idea that Pepe liked you began to feel less absurd. You started noticing him more, catching his eyes in class, and each time, he’d look away, cheeks slightly flushed.
One day, after an extremely boring English lesson, you found yourself alone, gathering your books slowly. You glanced up and saw Pepe standing by the door, seemingly hesitant.
“Hey,” he said, his hands playing with the strap of his backpack.
“Hi!,” you replied, almost too quickly for your liking.
He stepped into the classroom. “Can we talk?”
“Sure!,” you were in no actual mood to talk with anyone, but you were curious about what Pepe wanted to say.
Pepe took a deep breath, and for a moment, he thought about just running away, too scared of your rejection. “I’ve been wanting to tell you something for a while now,” he began, his voice gentle. “I like you. A lot. I know it might sound crazy because we don’t get to spend much time together, but it’s the truth.”
You stood there, stunned into silence. Pepe’s face fell, interpreting your lack of response as rejection. He turned to leave, but before he could take another step, you rushed forward and grabbed his arm.
“Wait,” you said, your voice trembling. “I like you too, Pepe. I really do. But…can we take things slow? I don’t want to rush into anything and risk losing you.”
Relief washed over his features, and he smiled, the kind of smile that lit up his entire face, and yours in return. “Of course. I’d love that.”
From that moment on, your relationship blossomed slowly but beautifully. You’d steal moments between classes, share quiet conversations, and text each other late into the night. Pepe’s racing schedule was demanding, but he always made time for you, even if it was just a brief call from a different time zone.
One evening, as you sat together on a bench in the park, you found yourself lost in his eyes.
“There’s a shimmer in your eyes,” you murmured, as he looked at you curiously. “Like the feeling of a thousand butterflies.”
Pepe smiled and leaned in to press a gentle kiss to your forehead. “You make everything feel like that,” he whispered.
Despite the growing closeness, a part of you remained fearful. What if the demands of his career pulled him away from you? What if the whirlwind of his racing world left no room for your quiet moments?
“Please, let’s take it slowly,” you’d often say, your voice betraying your insecurities.
Pepe would always hold you close, his embrace reassuring. “We will. I’m not going anywhere,” he’d promise.
Your relationship became a delicate dance, balancing the excitement of new love with the caution of taking things step by step. Pepe continued with his racing career, and you got into university, majoring in mechanical engineering.
And in the moments after the race, when he’d return to you, exhausted but elated, you’d see it in his eyes—the same shimmer, the same butterflies. He was yours, and you were his, moving forward together, one gentle step at a time.

Some Kind of Reaction (Andrea Kimi Antonelli X Marti! Reader)
Fandom: RPF/F2/F3
Requested: Clearly (I may have made it more Pepe/fam-centered than I wanted, but I like how it turned out)
Warnings: Aged up Kimi (I imagined him in second year of F2)
POV: Second person (You/your/They/them)
W.C. 1157
Summary: The walls are a bit thin in your house, and your 'meet the family' was spoiled.
As always, my requests are OPEN
MASTERLIST // HITLIST
~~(^Pinterest)
To say you were nervous to introduce your boyfriend to your older brother would be a lie. For once, you were not nervous at all! It’s not like Pepe did not know about your boyfriend. He just did not know who it was.
Little did he know, it was his competition.
Pepe was shockingly supportive when you first told him you had a boyfriend, and he took little convincing for you to get his approval. That was at the beginning of your relationship. Now, you were going on six months, and it was time to introduce them officially.
You decided the weekend of the Spanish Grand Prix would be the best, and your brother would not ask any questions about why you were in the paddock. Plus, you could cheer for both of your favorite boys!
Qualifying had just finished up, and you were ecstatic! Not only was Kimi on pole, but Pepe was on reverse grid pole for the sprint. That was the best-case scenario for you. Now, you just had to hope that they would be able to convert those positions into wins later this weekend.
You were standing outside of the Campos garage, waiting for your brother to pull into his spot. You were minding your own business when someone decided to run up behind you and jump onto your back. Thankfully, you were used to Kimi running up behind you, so when he jumped up, you immediately caught him.
“I’m so proud of you, Kimi!” You cheered as you spun around with him, laughing as he wrapped his arms tighter around your shoulders and littered your shoulder and neck with kisses. As you stopped spinning, you released his legs and allowed him to stand on his own. Immediately, you turned around while Kimi grabbed your face and planted a kiss on your lips as you wrapped your hands around his wrists, holding him against you.
You moved in sync with each other like you were made for each other. It was like the other hundreds of times you had kissed before. Maybe this one was more passionate, but to you, it was just like the first time you kissed him. The same fireworks and butterflies exploded in your stomach, and you never wanted to stop kissing him.
But when someone cleared their throat behind you. You knew who it was, there was no question about it. The only person that would not immediately jump at your throat: Pepe.
You slowly pulled away from Kimi, not really wanting to but also knowing you needed to face your brother eventually. You did not know if he was alone or if your parents had followed him back to the garage (you hoped they didn’t). Then, you took a deep breath, moved your hands to grab one of Kimi’s, and turned to see who interrupted you.
“Did you have fun there?” Pepe joked with an uncomfortable laugh and a grimace.
“As a matter of fact, yeah!” You replied with a light chuckle at his expression. “I always have fun kissing him!”
“Can you not do it in front of me? Like ever again?” Pepe cringed as he walked past you two, heading straight for his driver’s room.
“That’s it?” You questioned as you followed him. Kimi would have followed as well, but he was stopped by the Campos crew. Drivers of different teams were not allowed in different garages unless they were empty. You pushed through the door after Pepe. “No “That’s my sibling!’, no ‘You better treat ‘em right’, no ‘If you hurt ‘em, I’ll kill you’? Where’s the passion? Where’s the overprotective brother I know and what have you done with him?”
“Do you want me to freak out?” Pepe said, disinterested in the whole conversation as he set his helmet and balaclava to the side. He took a seat on the couch, throwing his legs onto the table. He had already changed to the Campos kit, but the team needed to check his helmet for something. You stood there dumbfounded at his laidback attitude.
“I want some kind of reaction here!” You exasperated. He was usually so expressive, especially regarding his friends and family. You had never seen him act like this, and it scared you. “Scream at me, scream at him, tell me off for dating another driver, tell me I don’t know what I’m getting myself into, give me something, Pepe! You’re my brother, and your opinion means a lot to me. The fact that you’re not reacting at all is scaring me.”
You were tearing up, eating yourself up at the thought of Pepe not approving of your relationship. Pepe was your older brother, and you looked up to him for everything from advice to a genuine friend. His opinion meant a lot to you, and truly, if he did not want you dating Kimi, you would break it off. You would be heartbroken, but your family’s opinion has always been your priority. Seeing the tears in your eyes, Pepe immediately stood up and pulled you into a hug.
“Aye, hermano/a (brother/sibling//sister),” He whispered as you hid your face on his shoulder as some of the tears fell. “Hey, I’m not shocked, and I’m not upset with you being with Kimi.” You pulled back a little to look up at him. He wiped the stray tears as he whispered, “At first, I was mad, but I’ve come to terms with it.”
“What do you mean ‘at first’?” You asked skeptically as you pulled back even more, almost putting him at an arm's distance.
“I may or may not have heard you on the phone a few weeks ago, and I may or may not know a few people who speak Italian, and I may or may not have asked them to translate what you said,” Pepe rambled with a sheepish smile when he finished. “And if it were, hypothetically, true, would you be mad?”
You stood frozen for a second with your jaw dropped before breaking out in laughter. Pepe might have gotten nervous then, but he started laughing nervously with you.
“I should have expected that,” You finally said, “Ain’t no way I get any privacy in that house.”
“My bad, the walls are thin,” Pepe shrugged before switching topics, “If it makes you feel better, I can go give Kimi a heart attack. I can go get Mamá and Papá.”
“Am I ready for that? Probably not, but thanks for offering,” You joked as you moved to leave the garage, but Pepe did not follow you. “Let me rephrase, I want you to give him a heart attack, not Mamá and Papá. I’m not trying to kill him before the race tomorrow.”
“Why not? That would be good for my campaign,” Pepe teased as he followed you out. “Then you would be on the front row for the sprint and ninth for the feature, pendejo (stupid).”

Pepe Marti stared out the window of the train as it rolled through the snowy countryside, the world a blur of white and grey. Excitement mingled with nerves in his stomach. It had been far too long since he had seen Zelie, and the anticipation of their reunion was almost overwhelming. Today, he was heading back to London not just for university but to reconnect with her, and he wanted everything to be perfect.
After his morning classes, he made his way to the café they used to frequent, a cozy spot with the warmth of freshly brewed coffee and the scent of pastries. He settled at a table by the window, ordering a London Fog—Zelie's favorite. As he waited, he glanced at the door, each time his heart skipping a beat as he hoped to see her walk in.
Finally, the bell above the door chimed, and there she was, bundled in a warm scarf, her eyes lighting up when she spotted him. He waved excitedly, beckoning her over, his heart racing.
“Pepe!” she exclaimed, and in an instant, he was out of his chair, enveloping her in a tight hug. Their warmth blended together as he pressed a soft kiss to her lips, murmuring in Spanish, “Te he echado de menos,”—I’ve missed you.
“I’ve missed you too!” she replied, her smile infectious.
They settled into their usual rhythm, their conversation bubbling with laughter and stories. However, Pepe was aware of the need to get some work done. “Okay, we should probably focus on studying for a bit. Five hours, sound good?” he proposed, knowing it was important for both of them.
“Deal,” she agreed, taking a sip of her London Fog and sighing contentedly.
As they studied, he immersed himself in his mechanical engineering notes while she flipped through her law textbooks. The café’s ambiance was perfect; the chatter around them and the steam from their drinks created a comforting cocoon.
After a couple of hours, the sun dipped lower, casting a warm glow in the café, and they both decided it was time to head back to his apartment. The snow continued to fall softly outside, wrapping the city in a peaceful blanket.
Once they were home, they decided to cook dinner together. As they chopped vegetables and stirred pots, the kitchen filled with laughter and the enticing aroma of their meal.
“So, what have you been up to Mr. Worldwide?” Zelie asked, glancing over at him.
Pepe leaned against the counter, a playful grin on his face. “Oh, you know, just the usual—getting yelled at by my racing partner for being late to practice. He has no patience!”
Zelie laughed, imagining the scenario. “What’s his name again?”
“Isack Hadjar. He’s a great driver, but he’s a bit dramatic,” he replied, rolling his eyes. “And then there’s Carlos Sainz—I actually met him at a race last month! It was surreal.”
“No way! What was he like?” she asked, her eyes wide with excitement.
“Super down-to-earth. We talked about racing and he gave me a few tips. I tried to play it cool, but inside I was freaking out!”
“That’s amazing! I’m so proud of you,” she said, beaming at him.
As they finished cooking, Zelie shared stories of her friends and their outrageous antics, her laughter filling the apartment. “And you won’t believe what Arianda did last week—she accidentally set off the fire alarm while trying to make toast!”
Pepe chuckled. “What about your professor? Still the worst?”
“Oh, don’t get me started on Professor Bradford! He’s so pedantic; it’s like he enjoys watching us suffer,” she vented dramatically. “But my sister just got a job in Australia, so at least one of us is doing well!”
“That’s fantastic! I bet she’s going to love it there,” Pepe replied, genuinely happy for her.
After dinner, they settled into the living room. Zelie flopped down on the beanbag, her Steam Deck in hand, while Pepe sat behind her, his legs wrapped around her. He watched her play Hogwarts Legacy, a playful smile on his face.
As she concentrated on the game, Pepe glanced at his engineering notes, but his mind kept drifting to her. Finally, he set the notes aside and leaned closer to her, his voice low. “Zelie,” he whispered, switching to Spanish, “Eres mi estrella guía. Siempre estaré contigo, no importa cuán lejos estés.”
She turned to look at him, her brow slightly furrowed. “What did you say?”
“You are my guiding star. I will always be with you, no matter how far you are,” he repeated, his eyes sincere.
A warm blush crept across her cheeks. “I love that,” she said, her voice soft.
“And, by the way,” he added with a smirk, “Lily Muni thinks you’re pretty.”
Zelie laughed, her eyes sparkling. “Wait! Seriously?" Zelie exclaimed. "Why does it feel like you are trying to distract me?"
Pepe chuckled, feeling the comfort of being together wash over him. “Maybe a little. But seriously, I’m so grateful for you. I don’t know what I’d do without you baby.”
As the fire crackled softly in the background, they nestled closer together, the world outside fading away. They spent the evening in a comfortable silence, the warmth of their connection enveloping them.

bunny bandaids and forehead kisses – jmm21
your boyfriend is tough when he's out on track – but not as much in real life.
genre: fluff fluff fluff

word count: 1k
requested: hm not really but the ppl have been asking for pepe fics so 🤭

"big breaths now, okay?"
your voice is soft and low, eyes following the way the antiseptic pours onto the rag you're holding. pepe nods, inhaling deeply through his nose as you take his wrist on one of your hands, holding his palm up. you think he's prepared, but when the rag meets his still bleeding skin, his eyes squeeze shut and he can't help but hiss. you let out a chuckle – nothing about his injury is funny per se, but there's something so cute about your usually so tough boyfriend acting like this.
when he crashes a car at several hundred kilometers per hour, there's no issue. he'll walk away without even looking back.
but when he falls onto the ground and scrapes his hand on the asphalt while playing with his five-year-old cousin, he's like a baby. he needs your help instantly.
you're both at pepe's grandparents' house for the weekend, for you to get a chance to meet his extended family for the first time. you had been chatting with his mother and aunt out in the sunshine when pepe came over to you, showing off his hand and asking if you could help him out. you obviously couldn't help but agree to clean him up, knowing that he's way too clumsy to fix it by himself.
so here you are in one of the bathrooms of the house, with pepe propped up on the lid of the toilet as you're crouched down next to him with the supplies you've managed to find in the cabinets. you've gotten the tiny rocks and most of the other dirt out of his skin already; now you just need to clean it properly so it doesn't end up infected, since an infection would be a complete nightmare when he needs to be wearing those stuffy racing gloves for hours upon hours.
pepe lets out a small groan when you press too hard on his skin, face twisting in pain. "sorry, baby," you say, your free hand coming up to caress his cheek. "just a little more now…"
just as you're about to brush his cut with the rag again, the sound of the door behind you creaking open meets your ears. when you look over your shoulder, you find pepe's cousin peeking in through the crack in the door.
"marta," you hum, plastering a soft smile onto your lips. "do you want to come in?"
the girl stays quiet and doesn't move an inch, seemingly not daring to even open the door enough to stick her head in through it. pepe lets out a short sigh. "primita, come here."
the little girl would never disobey her favorite cousin, so it doesn't take long before she waddles up to him. "pepe," she whines, a pout prominent on her lips. your boyfriend's hands reach for her sides, lifting her up easily and placing her down sideways on one of his legs.
"what is it, hm?" he asks, eyes soft when he looks down at her. she's staring at the ground, feet swinging in the air, a worried expression on her face.
"i'm sorry for… hurting you..." marta is already teary-eyed when pepe tilts her chin up and makes her look at him. he shakes his head instantly.
"cariño, you didn't hurt me, okay?" his hand moves from her chin to wipe away her tears with his thumb, before wrapping his arm around her back to hold her close. "just like i told you out there, i'm fine. i promise." her pout still hasn't disappeared and she doesn't seem convinced, so your boyfriend holds up his bruised hand to her. "look, it's just a little scrape. and besides, i've got auntie y/n here to help me out."
her gaze darts to you. "are you a doctor?" she asks, seeing the rag and bottle of antiseptic in your hands.
your eyes flicker between marta and the smirk on pepe's lips, and you can't help but nod. "sometimes, yes." anything to ease her mind right now. "i just need to clean him up a little so it... feels better."
the way she bats her eyes up at pepe makes his heart melt. "does it hurt?"
"not if you hold my hand."
the boy holds his uninjured hand out to her, and she instantly places her own much smaller hand in it. he wraps it around hers, giving it a squeeze, before nodding to you that he's ready again. this time, pepe only winces slightly but stays otherwise calm when you clean the little cuts on his palm – the bond between the two of them apparently really is that strong.
when he's finally all cleaned up, you begin looking through the cabinet for some bandaids. "okay, we have..." you start, pulling out three boxes. "regular bandaids, spiderman bandaids, or," you look up at marta with a grin. "bunny bandaids."
"bunnies!"
you've pulled it out and ripped off the wrapper of the bandaid before pepe can even begin to interject, and you hold it out to the little girl. "can you put it on for me?" you ask and she nods, her eyes twinkling as she grabs the bandaid.
you briefly shift your focus to discard the wrapper and put all of your supplies into the cabinet again, and you turn back just in time to see your boyfriend lean down, pressing a sweet kiss to marta's forehead. "thank you, cielo," he says, before glancing up at you. "and thank you."
with his free hand, he reaches forward to the back of your neck, pulling you down to his level. then, he places a kiss to your forehead too, a big smile on his lips when he pulls away and looks between you and marta.
"mis chicas favoritas."

how abt a pepe college fanfic >< like u developing romantic feelings for e/o while doing a project by pair together hehe love ur works!!!
did i fall in love (with my partner)??
college!pepe marti x project partner!reader
masterlist
You had heard a lot about Pepe before you met him. Whispers of his kindness and undeniable charm circulated through the campus, but nothing could have prepared you for the reality. The first time you saw him, standing by the entrance of the library, his thick, dark hair catching the light just so, you understood immediately why everyone seemed so in love with him.
The professor’s voice echoes in your mind as you walk towards him, repeating the instructions for your paired project. It’s a critical part of your grade, and your stomach is a jumble of nerves. As you approach, Pepe looks up and smiles, a genuine, warm expression that seems to light up his entire face.
“Hey, you must be my partner,” he says, extending his hand. His grip is firm but gentle, his eyes meeting yours with an intensity that makes your heart skip a beat. “I’m Pepe.”
Yeah, I’m… uh, I’m really looking forward to working with you,” you manage to say, hoping you don’t sound as flustered as you feel.
As you and Pepe sat across from each other in the library, laptops open and textbooks scattered, the air was charged with a mix of tension and focus. You'd been paired together for this semester-long project in your college literature class, and while you initially thought it would be a breeze, you hadn't anticipated how distracting Pepe's smile could be.
"So, what's the plan for tackling this?" you asked, trying to keep your tone professional, despite the warmth that spread through you whenever Pepe looked your way.
He leaned in slightly, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he explained his ideas. Pepe was more than just good-looking; he was genuinely passionate about the subject matter, and his enthusiasm was infectious. You found yourself drawn to his insights and the thoughtful way he articulated his points.
As the weeks went by, you spent more time together, discussing literature, debating interpretations, and slowly unraveling layers of each other's personalities. Pepe was surprisingly witty, matching your sass with a playful banter that kept you on your toes. It was refreshing to find someone who could challenge you intellectually while also making you laugh.
One evening, while proofreading each other's sections of the project, you glanced up to find Pepe watching you intently. "What?" you asked, feeling a blush creep up your cheeks.
He smiled softly, shaking his head. "Nothing. Just realizing how well we work together."
You rolled your eyes playfully. "Yeah, yeah. Don't get all sentimental on me now."
Pepe chuckled, his gaze lingering a moment longer before returning to his laptop. "Seriously though, thanks for being an awesome partner."
The words hung in the air, and you couldn't help but feel a flutter of something unfamiliar in your chest. Maybe it was the late nights spent arguing over thesis statements or the way he always seemed to know when you needed a coffee break, but you were starting to realize that your feelings for Pepe were more than just admiration for his intellect and charm.
As the semester progressed, so did your feelings for Pepe. What started as admiration for his intellect and charm blossomed into something deeper. You found yourself eagerly anticipating your study sessions together, relishing every moment of shared laughter and intellectual debate.
One rainy afternoon, you found yourselves holed up in the campus café, seeking refuge from the downpour outside. Pepe was animatedly explaining a complex literary theory, his eyes alight with passion. You listened intently, captivated not just by his words but by the earnestness with which he spoke.
"You know," he said suddenly, looking at you with a hint of uncertainty in his gaze, "I've really enjoyed working on this project with you. It's been... surprisingly fun."
You smiled, feeling a rush of warmth at his words. "Yeah, who knew analyzing obscure texts could be this entertaining?"
Pepe chuckled, his smile lighting up his face. "It's not just the texts. It's... well, it's you. You make it fun."
Your heart skipped a beat, and for a moment, the noise of the café seemed to fade into the background. There was something in Pepe's tone, something that hinted at wanting something more than what you two had currently. Could it be that he felt the same way?
Before you could muster a response, a notification chimed on your phone, ruining the moment. It was a reminder about an upcoming event on campus—an open mic night. You glanced at Pepe, an idea forming in your mind.
"Hey, there's an open mic night happening this Friday," you said casually, trying to keep your voice steady despite the sudden surge of nerves. "Would you... maybe want to go together?"
Pepe's eyes widened slightly, surprise flickering across his features before a slow smile spread across his face. "Yeah, I'd like that," he replied softly. "I'd really like that."
And just like that, amidst the clatter of coffee cups and the hum of voices around you, something shifted. The project that brought you together had become the catalyst for your potential romantic relationship.
As the weeks passed, your bond with Pepe grew stronger. You discovered shared interests beyond academia, from music tastes to favorite hiking spots. Each moment spent together felt effortless, as if you had known each other far longer than just a semester.
On the night of the open mic event, you found yourselves seated in the front row, fingers intertwined as you watched students take the stage one by one. When it was your turn to perform—a poem you had written during one of your late-night study breaks—Pepe's loud cheers from the audience kept a wide smile on your face.
Afterward, as you walked back to campus under a sky speckled with stars, Pepe stopped suddenly, turning to face you.
"I'm really glad we met," he said quietly, his voice carrying a weight of sincerity that made your heart swell.
"Me too," you replied softly, reaching out to brush a stray strand of hair from his face.
And as you stood there, under the gentle glow of campus streetlights, you knew that with Pepe by your side, the chapters of your own story were just beginning. And you couldn’t wait to read them.

unrequited feelings
after weeks of ghosting from pepe's side, you had finally decided to confront him, and it leads to some confessions.
pepe marti x childhood bestfriend!reader
masterlist
If he wasn't going to pick the phone calls and answer the text messages, block you on all socials, then he was going to have to face you in person.
So here you were. At the Spanish Grand Prix with his mother. It was not that this was an abrupt plan (you had been here last year too, when Pepe won in F3), it just felt very different this time around, since Pepe and you weren't exactly the best friends right now that you had been last year.
Now that you were stuck in a room with Pepe (courtesy of his sisters who had no idea what had gone wrong between the best friends, but wanted them to be back to talking to each other), you were rethinking your choice.
"Why did you not reply? Or pick my calls? Or better yet, why did you block me?" You had wanted to sound strong, but as soon as the first words left your mouth, they just turned quieter and quieter until the last words were barely a whisper.
Pepe sat on the edge of the sofa, his fingers fidgeting with the edge of his race suit. He didn't look at you immediately, his eyes fixed on a point somewhere on the floor. The silence stretched between you, thick and suffocating, until you felt like you couldn't take it anymore.
"I thought it would be easier," he finally said, his voice rough. "Easier to just…cut everything off."
"Easier for who?" you demanded, stepping closer. "Because it certainly wasn't easier for me."
He looked up then, his eyes meeting yours, and for a moment, you saw all the pain and confusion that mirrored your own. "For both of us," he replied. "I thought if I could just…distance myself, it wouldn't hurt so much."
Pepe sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I love you," he said, the words coming out in a rush. "I love you in a more than friends way, and it's obvious you don't like me."
Your heart skipped a beat, and you stared at him in shock. "So that's what all this was about?" you asked incredulously. "Joseph Maria Marti. You're an absolute idiot."
You took a deep breath, stepping closer until you were right in front of him. "I love you, Pepe. More than anything. And your actions made me think you didn't feel the same. I thought you were avoiding me because you didn't want to deal with my feelings."
He stood up abruptly, closing the distance between you in a heartbeat. "You…you love me?"
"Yes," you said, feeling a weight lift off your shoulders. "I love you."
For a moment, you both just stood there, the tension and confusion melting away, replaced by something much sweeter. Then Pepe reached out, pulling you into his arms, and you buried your face in his chest, feeling his heartbeat against your cheek.
"I've been such an idiot," he murmured into your hair.
"Yes, you have," you agreed, smiling through your tears. You broke the hug, and as you looked behind him, you saw his sisters standing there, with grins on both their faces, "Also, I don't think your sisters are going to let you forget about this."
"We heard everything," one of them said, a teasing grin spreading across her face. "And she's right Pepe, you're never living this down."
You laughed, feeling lighter than you had in weeks. Pepe groaned, but there was a smile on his face as he hugged you tighter. "Well, I guess we better get used to it," he said, and you nodded.

❣️I dont know if this is really a prompt, but could you write “aha!” moments for Paul, Pepe, and Ralf? Like when did they realize they wanted to date their person, what made them have that “aha!” moment. Thank you for considering this request.
❣️ – send me a prompt and one/a few drivers and i'll tell you how i think they would react!!
paul aron
paul's "aha!" moment is when he realizes how comfortable he is around you. it usually takes a lot for him to open up, and he doesn't do it with just anyone, so the fact that he feels so naturally relaxed with you makes him understand his feelings for you.
the exact moment comes one day when you're just casually spending time together at your apartment after he has come back from a race weekend. he's exhausted, his body aching with sore muscles and his mind crying out for some rest. usually, he would prefer to just be alone at home and sleep it off – but for some reason, he has come to enjoy being with you instead. there's just something about the way that you cook your signature dish for him without him even having to ask, the way you brush your fingers through his hair as he's snuggled to your side... the way he lets himself laugh so wholeheartedly to all of your jokes (even the not so funny ones). he realizes that he can let his guard down around you, which in turn makes him realize how special you are to him and how much he wants (needs) to keep you in his life.
pepe marti
pepe can be a whole baby when he's sick. it's not something he himself has realized before, and he hasn't believed his parents or sisters when they told him so. but when he's sick and he suddenly has you there to take care of him, he realizes how annoying and childlike he must be.
it's in one of these moments that pepe realizes his feelings for you. he's been sick with a fever for days, barely able to eat or do anything other than sleep. but oh how much better his life became the second you stepped in through his door and told him that you'd help him out. you cook for him, you help him take his meds, you keep the apartment clean... all of it despite the fact that he's clinging onto you like a baby 99% of the time.
he feels so guilty because you're spending so much time just on him when you have millions of other things you could do for yourself; but at the same time, he loves it and he almost wishes he could spend the rest of his life like this.
ralf aron
the thing that makes ralf realize that he likes you is the fact that you seem to get along so well with the people in his life.
he adores the way you act around his family; the way you became friends with his siblings in no time, the way you play around with his niece and nephew like they're your own younger siblings, the way you're so polite yet relaxed around his parents. he loves the fact that his mom loves you, and he's thankful that his dad approves too, because his family is important to him and he needs someone who fits right in.
the first time he brought you along to a race, he was so relieved to find you fit right in there, too. if you're someone naturally extroverted, he's thankful that you show off your bubbly personality on the side of the track aswell. and if you're naturally more introverted or shy, then he's pleasantly surprised to see the way that you seem so comfortable around his team despite how nervous you were before. the fact that you chat to his teammates without any issues, that his engineers and other team members adore you, and that the first thing he wants to do is search for you in the crowd when he's done racing...
the way you look so natural by his side, like your part in his life is no big deal, no matter where or when. seeing you in his life, he realizes that you're the missing puzzle piece to fit right into his side.
