Like, if Chris really couldn't talk to Eddie, he could have stayed with Buck or Pepa, people Eddie actually trusts in the same city as him so he can check in on his son and rebuild their relationship, and Chris can still, I don't know, go to the same school and see his friends and not be completely uprooted again. Freaking Texas??? You're telling me Pepa wouldn't have come running, told her brother to back off and take Chris to her place to cool down for as long as he needs??? Cause she would have.

A thought just came to me. Obviously Buck is only the first person to know about Eddie's plans and Eddie's progress or lack thereof with Chris, and he's talked to Bobby as well but where the he'll are Pepa, Carla and Abuela during this? I can't imagine any of them being okay, let alone quiet about Chris leaving and ignoring his dad's attempts to reconcile. I also don't believe for a second they'd let Helena and Ramon swoop in and poison Chris against Eddie. Where are Eddie's allies in all this?

Bruno is odd. He is weird. I expect he got bullied by other children a lot. Sometimes Pepa I imagine would lose her temper with her brother. Not that she doesnet love him but she dident always understand him, and she is shown to have a temper... BUT I also believe she would be the first to defend him, always.

If they go for redeeming the Diazes then I guess Eddie getting hurt and Christopher pepa abuela Buck like really telling the Diaz parents how bad it is and comatose Eddie but if they want to go for legal battle still Eddie can get hurt and the Diaz parents use it against Eddie so I think in theory Eddie getting hurt makes the most sense

It does. Also Buck was just hurt (by the lightning) 2 seasons ago. Eddie hasn’t been “hurt” in a LONG TIME. I think the last time was the shooting. That’s 4 seasons ago. It’s ⏰.
