Like, if Chris really couldn't talk to Eddie, he could have stayed with Buck or Pepa, people Eddie actually trusts in the same city as him so he can check in on his son and rebuild their relationship, and Chris can still, I don't know, go to the same school and see his friends and not be completely uprooted again. Freaking Texas??? You're telling me Pepa wouldn't have come running, told her brother to back off and take Chris to her place to cool down for as long as he needs??? Cause she would have.

A thought just came to me. Obviously Buck is only the first person to know about Eddie's plans and Eddie's progress or lack thereof with Chris, and he's talked to Bobby as well but where the he'll are Pepa, Carla and Abuela during this? I can't imagine any of them being okay, let alone quiet about Chris leaving and ignoring his dad's attempts to reconcile. I also don't believe for a second they'd let Helena and Ramon swoop in and poison Chris against Eddie. Where are Eddie's allies in all this?
