Special interest fact of the day: Shanghai pirates was the last/most recent potc ride to open up in 2016, it focuses on the movies and has a Davy Jones animatronic, unlike the other rides, where they are all iterations of the original one in California.

It has one drop unlike the original ride and the one in Paris, and uses computer generated digital effects unlike the others! When the ride was first built, this technology had not been seen or used on any previous versions of the ride! It's also magnetic powered! Very cool.

It lasts 8 minutes, placing it right between Magic Kingdom (8m30s) and Tokyo (9m30s) in terms of duration.

However it's very hard to access ride statistics like the amount of animatronics which makes me mildly upset :( I think there is somewhere between 2-3 animatronics that aren't projections or audio, two of which are Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones
