a/n: Hihi! I know I said two weeks, but I've been balancing school and home life. I'm also re-reading this piece I wrote a while back and brainstorming for new things. Also, I've never written reactions before, so I hope you enjoy it. I'm sorry this is so late.

Jinho

He would be the type to avoid a meet-up.

It’s not like the relationship ended badly, but it’s for convenience.

Jinho wouldn’t want to step on your feelings if there were any remaining

Honestly, for him, there was still something left over

He's delusional. Literally gaslighting himself to think he’s avoiding you for your sake.

The meet-up would be accidental like it was meant to happen.

Jinho honestly hadn’t been out of his apartment in a few weeks. He had been having second thoughts about the entire breakup. Was it the best decision? He wasn’t sure. Although, the food had run out in his house, and takeout was expensive these days.

He was walking through the isles bored when he saw a familiar figure. He didn’t see your face, but he didn’t have to. Something inside him wanted to approach you, but he didn’t. He couldn’t and he didn’t know why. He would rather die than go up to you. He stood there for minutes wondering whether to move past you or do a 180.

He ended up just staring at you, taking in this moment of seeing you again. You were looking at some snacks on the shelf when you turned your head and looked over at him. He watched as the smile spread on your face, and how you waved at him. He reciprocated it, all without much thought. The moment flew by too fast for him because, in the next second, you were gone for the next item on your grocery list.

Hui

Hui would most likely become obsessed with his work

Anything to distract himself

Maybe he’d blow money for some serotonin

Anything to give him a quick whiff of some happiness

He’s been writing songs like crazy and they're all sappy breakup songs

He doesn’t like any of them though

He needs a break and a bad

Hui needed some time out of his studio which was now too stuffy for him. Just a simple walk would do for him. For what he meant for a short walk around the building, he ended up in a park nearby. He sat on a swing slowly rocking back and forth. His eyes were closed taking in the sound around him. It was quiet, barely anyone was around. Still, the sound of the wind and the trees slowly dancing to it making their sound, The casual cars driving by in the background. That was the serenity and peace he had been looking for this whole time.

When he finally opened his eyes he noticed a familiar figure sitting at a bench. They were eating lunch alone with their head down. He didn’t have to see their face to know who it was. He smiled to himself, maybe this was the motivation and clarity he sought.

Hongseok

He’d be more of the jealous type.

He’s most likely the type to stalk a page

He made a fake account just for you!

Lately, Hongseok had been feeling like you were losing interest in him, or you were getting over this. With all that he still felt for you, he couldn’t let you. He still couldn’t let you go and needed something to drag you in with him. So, he devised a plan. He would “randomly” meet up with you.

He got used to the schedule that you had, and have, so it wasn’t that hard to find you. He had crossed your path multiple times after the break-up, but neither of you had decided to go and talk to each other. He was too shy, and you wanted to get over him. It was better for you anyway, and sometimes seeing him just hurt.

Not this time when you saw him. You two had managed to get on the same bus. Although, you knew hongseok had a car and could drive. It made you wonder what happened to him after you two separated. You locked eyes with him, and he shared a smile with you. He took that as an invitation to come closer to you on the bus. He made small talk with you for most of the ride. Something about the whole experience felt like deja vu almost as if you had met him again, but in a new life.

Shinwon

He plays it off but he’s most definitely hurting

He hangs around other people for a distraction

He is not okay though

When he’s alone or at home he mostly pouts

Dont come about his mood though because he will snap

He also won't leave the house unless he has to

The guys have to make him come out, so they take him to an inside amusement park

They may spoil him a bit too much.

It seemed like Shinwon was as good as new. He was smiling, laughing, and making his awful jokes. Honestly, Jinho and Hui kind of wished they left him at home. It seemed like this was the perfect thing to bring him back from being a literal human zombie.

They were walking around the theme park when he saw you giggling with your friends. You guys had rented school uniforms on. He was happy that you were happy though. The way you laughed or held your friend's hand. He didn’t notice how long he had been staring.

He was sent back to reality when Jinho tapped him on the shoulder. “You ready to head out already?” Shinwon looked back at him just nodding. He didn’t know if Jinho knew if he was looking at you or not. Either way, nothing was mentioned on the way home.

Changgu

He lives in a cafe.

Or he visits it a lot

Either way, he wants to run into you

First, it was the old cafe you two used to visit

Then your favorite cafe

But nothing, he couldn’t

One day he gave up and just started to work part-time at a random cafe

He was working late nights due to his day job. He was enjoying working at a cafe. He loved the smell of coffee beans after all, and wouldn’t complain if he smelled like them all day. One thing was for sure though, he brought a lot of business to the cafe.

Everyone went to the cafe to see the cute barista. He smiled with all of the new attention, but he wasn’t quite sure if he enjoyed it or not. Some part of him still hoped that one day you would walk into those doors. He convinced himself that all of the girls he turned down were for you. He was staying loyal to you.

The only problem was that he only worked at the late-night, and it was not the most favorable time for a cup of coffee.

One night while he was making one of his famous cups of coffee, he heard a familiar laugh. His head shot up, he had to see your face again. Although, he frowned as soon as he spotted you in the crowd. Your arm was locked around another guy’s laughing and leaning into him.

He frowned and turned over to his coworker, “I'm taking my 15.”

Yanan

The relationship was short

Surely not long enough for deep feelings

That's what he thought before he broke the news to you

But lately, he had been missing you

Denies it and tries to play it slick

I’m thinking this is like a college fling thing

So you guys could run into one another

Finals were coming up and Yanan was in the library with his head stuck in one of the textbooks. He had been there for hours, and he was starting to get hungry. He had a six-hour final that he was preparing for, and he could not flunk it. He searched in his bags to see if he had any snacks left over. Luckily he still had some, leaning back and eating it.

He took that time to scan his surroundings. He had been focused on his work for so long that he hadn’t noticed the amount of people that had come and gone. This time around he noticed you dozed off on a desk. Your head was lying on a textbook sleeping soundly. You looked so pretty to him. He went close to you and put your jacket over you.

He didn’t quite understand his actions or what possessed him to buy snacks for you. He smiled to himself as he wrote a note. He teased you about falling asleep in the library and how you should take better care of yourself. He didn’t sign the note, smirking. Maybe he could tease you more like this in the future.

Yuto

He is already a quiet person, so I feel like he kept the relationship very private

Barely anyone knew that the two of you had broken up

The break up wasn’t on good terms

The two of you could not agree on something

He hated arguments and everything that came with it

He also hated telling you when he disagreed with something because it would lead to even more arguments even if it didn’t have to be one

The two of you were petty anyways

He tried to avoid you, and the places you hung out frequently

Yuto was out with a large group of friends. It was unusual for him, but he was enjoying the extra company. They were at a large shopping mall, so it wasn’t an ideal place to be. He was quieter than usual. Maybe it was because he didn’t want to draw a lot of attention to himself. That was the reason. He wanted some quiet time but didn’t want to be alone. Maybe this was the best solution for him.

He thought of himself over the relationship. Maybe he was being too harsh, but he thought if he heard that you died in a week or so he wouldn’t care. Okay, that was cruel of him, but he needed some way to distance himself.

The sad part was, when he saw you at a store with another guy, his heart sank. He was mad that he still felt some type of way about it and about you. He was disappointed in himself, nonetheless, he played it off and went on with his day.

Kino

I'm going with the cliche trope

He’s just a party guy to me

And I think he’d go to parties to let off his cool. Especially if it was a harsh break-up

I feel like he’d still be jealous and possessive after the relationship

If anyone would try to say something bad about you, he would get mad at them.

He’s still sweet as ever, even if it ended on bad terms or not

Kino was at a party, like usual. He had a huge social circle. He was floating around the party talking to a lot of different people. He was feeling better tonight. He preferred to put himself out there when he didn’t feel up to it. Honestly, he was feeling a lot better.

He did notice you when you walked in, it would be hard for him not to stare. He watched over you, still feeling protective. He knew a lot of the people at the party, some of them having a bad reputation. He would rather watch over you from a distance, not ready to face you.

That didn’t matter when a random guy came up to you. He didn’t know him, but he could not stand the fact that another man was talking to you. He came up to you putting his arm over your shoulder casually. “I forgot to ask you what drink you wanted.” Kino kept a sly smirk on his face. You looked a little upset and surprised to see him there, but he just brushed it off. It was fun to cock-block you.

Wooseok

I think he would be quieter about the breakup

He seems like he keeps more to himself

But he’s generally sweet to everyone

I think the motivation would be down

He wants to keep things on good terms, but that doesn’t mean friends.

He’s not the type to text you after

Unless he needed something

Wooseok had gathered up some motivation lately, after looking at how messy his life had been lately. He was picking his stuff up and putting things in their right places. During that, he found some items that were yours, and he noticed that some of his things had been missing. He frowned, he didn’t want to do any confronting, but he wanted his things back. There’s nothing wrong with that, right?

His hands were sweaty as he texted you. He simply stated that he had a few of your things and he thought that you had a few of his. It was simple and he tried to be as polite as possible. He was not trying to make anyone upset.

After a few days you hadn’t answered his text, so he tried again. This time his tone was a little hasty, and when you responded, it was in an aggravated tone. He was confused. You didn’t want to meet with him and made that clear. He suggested mail, but that seemed to upset you as well.

When he saw you later that week on the street, he said nothing. He did nothing. Any feelings that he had left over for you, were gone. Then he knew he could move on.

Slowly you opened your eyes to the light coming from your windows. The curtains made the room bright but at least the sun wasn't shining directly on your eyes. Turning to the side you smiled. There he was, looking lovingly at you with a sweet smile plastered on his face.

"Good morning beautiful" he whispered

You smiled back at him and your hand instinctively went to his face, stroking his cheek and admiring his beauty when suddenly

Your alarm starts ringing really loudly, making you jump

You open your eyes and turn it off, looking at your phone and the empty bed. It was a dream... a really realistic dream, but... you don't know who the guy in your dream is. You got up and changed knowing you had to go to college

- - - After your classes ended you decided to spend the afternoon with some friends to wind up. After all, it was Thursday, and every Thursday you guys went to a cafe close to your campus to chat and do some homework together

You sat on one of the tables to save it and also keep an eye on your bags while your two friends went to grab their drinks. You had told them about your dream on one of the breaks and they just laughed at your sad exaggerated expression saying that soon you'll find a boyfriend. It was a thing between you guys since you were all painfully single

When they came back to the table you went to the register to order your usual "Hi! I would like a medium Taiwan bubble milk-" You stopped mid-order staring at the barista you had never seen before in the store. What caught you off guard was that he was the guy in your dream

"Milk tea?" He questioned since you just stopped talking

"Hm, yes, milk tea... sorry" you laughed awkwardly as he smiled politely

When he was done with your tea he spoke up "Have we met before? Your face seems familiar..."

"I'm not sure but you seem familiar too" You smiled taking your tea. You wouldn't tell a stranger, even a really cute one, that he was in your dream and a really romantic one

"I'm Jinho... maybe we could hand out some time? I would like to know you" he said in a shy tone "Yes!... that... would be nice" you answered way too fast for your liking

At least you would have news to share with your friends and who knows... maybe a boyfriend as well.

in chinese, there's this thing we call 病态 (bìng tài), which directly translates to "state of being sickly" and it sounds kind of wack if you put it like that, but basically the way he embodied that psychological inner warfare in his dance and expressions was absolutely Oscar-worthy

"Daisy" because of his tattoo, and his florist dreams, and his dance, and that mafia dance variety thing they did

just. "Daisy". yeah.

Wooseok

i don't know if it's because of his unique rapping tone, but i associate him with a lot of Pentagon's songs

i mean he wrote and composed my absolute favourite Pentagon song, "BAD"

Midnight Sun (PENTAGON: Jo Jinho)

sooooo it's been roughly almost a year since i last posted (i'm blaming it on burnout, working on dnd fics, being busy with the youtube channel, and generally tired from work). but i am back with another fic and the first on the list of my currently untitled Vampire!AU Collection!

i'm planning to do all the guys i write for, by order of age, so it doesn't feel draggy if it looks like i'm focusing a lot on one group. this is also the first time in almost a year that i've completed a reader insert fic, so it might (be bad) feel disjointed or stiff at times. i'm sorry jinho, u were the sacrificial lamb

You heave a big sigh as you close the apartment door behind you, and drag your feet towards the lifted entryway. It takes some of your self-control to not just toss your work bag in the corner, leave your toed-off shoes cluttering the floor, drop your blazer in a messy pool on the shoebox. Work today has left you drained, with barely any energy left to get ready for bed.

As you slog through a meager leftover dinner from last night, a quick shower and soak in the tub (where you almost dozed off), and your nightly skincare routine with half-closed eyes, you wonder how your boyfriend is doing.

Jinho broke the news to you a couple of months ago, about being cast in a musical as one of the alternates for the male lead, and told you that he’d be coming home late at night because of rehearsals. You’re not sure when he does get home because you’re usually halfway to dreamland by 9PM on work days, but you just figure it’s very late, considering he’s still out cold by the time you wake up the next morning.

It’s like you two are passing ships, meeting long enough just to wave a hello, and then going your separate ways again.

As you get comfortable in bed, you glance at your phone, the only thing illuminating the dark room—8:30PM. They should be having dinner right about now, so you send him a short message:

Hi, honey. About to sleep; work tired me out. Have a good rehearsal day and get home safe. Love you. <3

You tuck yourself beneath the covers and stare at your phone on the nightstand, waiting for it to light up with a notification. But your eyes are heavy and your mind is foggy, and slowly you succumb to the sweet lure of sleep.

It is 1AM by the time Jinho gets home.

He knows the production staff didn’t mean for the rehearsal to run this late, but there was a lot to cover and the premiere is just around the corner. At this point, later and later nights might become the norm; he makes a mental note to ask the company if he can ask for a car to take him back home after rehearsals. He somehow managed to snag a ride with one of his castmates, but he knows it’s not going to work again.

He clears his throat some as he trudges down the hallway to the unit he shares with you. His legs feel weird, wobbly from overexertion and going back and forth across the stage. He stops every few paces to bounce on his heels to keep the nerves awake.

Shaking hands fiddle with his keys to unlock the apartment’s front door, which takes a while due to his spinning vision. If anything, Jinho attributes all this to the usual cooldown after practice—years of being active (whether as an idol or in the military, or as any of his cover-up occupations throughout history) has got him used to these sensations as nothing more than post-workout fatigue, and nothing else.

So when he finally gets the damn door open, and drops his bag by the entryway, and toes off his shoes, and is reaching to drape his jacket over the nearby coat rack…

He collapses.

You blink awake at the loud, heavy thud. It’s a struggle to straighten out your bleary gaze as you pat the nightstand for your phone to check the time, the bright display screen once again making you squeeze your eyes shut.

Jinho is still out, as evidenced by the cold sheets beside you, but maybe the loud thud is just him accidentally closing the door a little too hard. So you press the heels of your hands to your eyes for a moment before getting up and meeting your boyfriend at the door.

“Jinho?” you call out, stifling a yawn as you drag your feet down the hall in your house slippers. “Honey, are you home?”

There is no answer—no padding of feet, no rustling of clothes. Your brows furrow at the silence, and when you round the corner into the living space, with a direct view of the entryway, you take off running.

“Jinho!” Your knees scream in pain as you drop into a crouch in front of him, unconscious on the floor, pale and sweating, face scrunched up. You pat him gently on his cold, clammy cheek. “Baby? Baby, wake up!”

A groan is your only response, and you wonder how hard it’s going to be to carry a full-grown man all the way to bed.

The first thing Jinho sees when he wakes up is the small chandelier with faux-glass bulbs you’d installed to spice up the living area. It’s about two years old now, and the landlady still hasn’t noticed that you’d replaced her boring old light. The world behind the gauzy curtains is still dark, meaning it hasn’t been long since he got home.

His mouth is dry and his throat is tight, like there’s an itch he can’t scratch. He groans again as he tries to slowly sit up, the thin blanket you’d draped over him slipping from his shoulder. But as soon as he’s upright, his vision swims and he drops back onto the throw pillow.

“Fuck,” he murmurs, groaning into the air.

A few seconds later, he hears your feet pad around the corner from the bedroom. His gaze lands to you, your face the picture of worry as you make your way to sit next to him on the couch.

You hold his cold hand, gently brush his bangs away from his face. “Are you okay? You had me worried a little.”

His brows furrow as he tries to recall what happened, but as much as he tries to think through the ensuing headache, he remembers nothing.

“I… What happened, exactly?” he asks, voice scratchy and dry, sounding like barely a whisper. “I can’t remember a thing.”

You bite your lip, squeeze his hand as you answer softly, “I don’t know. I was sleeping, and then I heard a loud thud by the door. I thought you just closed it really loudly, but when I came out to meet you, I saw you. On the floor. And you wouldn’t wake up when I called your name, and I was really scared—,”

“Sshh, it’s okay,” he says, cupping your face, reassuring you of his presence even though he feels like he’s being set on fire from the inside. “It’s okay… I’m here, honey.” He softly strokes the apple of your cheek with his thumb.

You hold his hand in both of your own, lean into his comforting touch. “Sorry, it’s just… I’ve never seen you like that before.”

"I know, baby, I know. I'm sorry for scaring you." He has an inkling of why he might have collapsed, so he tries to think back on what he’s been doing for the past few days. “I think I know what happened, though.”

You lower your entwined hands to your lap, fiddle with his fingers as you wait patiently.

“Do you remember when I last fed?” he says, face scrunched in concentration. “Because I can’t either.”

It’s then that you see the red film covering his irises, and the realization hits you like a truck. “I have no idea.” You sigh loudly and wipe a hand over your face; you should have realized as soon as he opened his eyes. “God, I’m so stupid. I should have realized.”

“Hey, don’t say that,” Jinho scolds gently. “I’ve never gone this off-schedule since the early 1800s. And because of that, I never told you the symptoms of extreme hunger.” He lifts his hand again and brushes your cheek with the backs of his fingers. “It’s not your fault, okay? If anything, it’s an oversight on both our parts.” He wishes he could lean up to kiss away the furrow in your brow, but his limbs are too numb.

"I'm gonna feel bad about it for a little while, though," you say, brushing away the bangs that cover his eyes. "Should I check the fridge for bags?"

Jinho smiles—telling you that he's a vampire is probably one of the smartest things he's ever done. "Yes, please."

"Do you have a preference?" you ask. When he shakes his head, you lean over to drop a kiss on his forehead and whisper, "I'll be right back."

"'Kay," Jinho says simply, eyes trailing your figure as you slide in socked feet towards the small kitchen.

Sometimes he wonders what life would be like if he didn't bite the bullet and tell you about his condition. It'd be doubly frustrating and exhausting for sure, on top of constantly needing to lie and hide his true self from you, which he never liked doing in the first place. When you've lived a long, long life like he has, lying is a necessity; telling half-truths and concealing intentions becomes second nature. But when he finally met someone he wanted to spend the rest of their life with… well, things had to change.

Though his hearing is muffled from the dryness of his throat, he still hears you pad back into the living area and come back into his frame of sight to sit next to him on the couch. There is no sign of blood bags.

“So, bad news,” you start. “There’s no more bags in the fridge. I checked the small one in the bedroom too, but it’s all out.” You worry your lip, not looking at him. "What do we do?"

Damn. Jinho is sure he still had a stock of bags, but it seems he's more out of it than he thought. Everyday has been a routine of wake up, go to rehearsals, go home, sleep, with barely any time to eat in between.

Jinho goes through every possible contingency in his foggy brain, but comes up with nothing. With a groan, he croaks out, "I have an idea… but I don't know if you're gonna like it." After taking so many precautions to make sure this wouldn’t happen, he can’t help but be disappointed that he let it get this bad.

But you shake your head, determined. "Anything to help you."

Jinho groans as he settles back against the couch cushions, feeling his bones rattle with every move he makes. You position yourself beside him, back towards him, as close as you can without crushing him.

“A little closer,” Jinho softly says, fingers slowly ghosting their way to grip at the fabric of your shirt at the waist as you adjust yourself. “That’s it. Lean back.” He feels you shiver as you follow his instructions, shifting your weight back until you can feel his cold breaths by your ear.

His hand seeks out your own, shaking and balled into a fist. “Last chance to change your mind,” Jinho whispers. “Are you sure about this, honey?”

You swallow hard and nod. “Yep. I’m sure.” You open and close your hands, trying to dispel the nerves that make your limbs stiffen, and reach for your boyfriend’s hand. There is absolutely no reason to be scared—you know Jinho is careful, and would never intentionally hurt you. You reach up with a hand and comb your hair away from your neck, exposing the skin to his hungry eyes, and tug away the neckline of the loose shirt you’re wearing.

Jinho tucks his nose into your neck, breathing in your scent as the hand on your waist crawls forward to rest on your stomach. It could just be the intense hunger, but Jinho swears that you have the most intoxicating scent in the world. He feels you take another deep, shaky breath.

“Relax, baby,” he whispers, licks a wet stripe up your neck as his thumb rubs your knuckles to calm you down. “It’ll hurt just a bit.”

The piercing pain that followed his words isn't that bad, but you still make a surprised whimper. His sharp fangs puncture through the sensitive skin like it was nothing, and the thought of them being so inherently dangerous sends a shiver down your spine.

Jinho groans as your blood floods his tongue, the initial metallic taste giving way to a sweet and syrupy flavor. He’s never imagined having you like this; you’ve crossed a line and you can never go back.

You sag against him, body relaxing as he gets his fill of you. He feels the strength returning to him as he drinks—his breathing has returned to normal, he isn’t shaking with every movement, and his throat is soothed, as if he just drank a pitcher of ice cold water on a hot summer’s day. At some point, the hand that was clutching your shirt moved to cup your chin and guide your head the way he wanted, while the fingers of his other hand entwined with yours.

He finishes off the meal with one last lick to the puncture marks to seal off the wounds. Gentle hands immediately guide you backwards to rest against his chest. Jinho lets you calm down from the high you must have felt while he was feeding, before asking, “You okay? Do you feel dizzy? Or nauseous? I can get you some water in a bit.”

You chuckle at his mother-henning. “I’m all right, Jinho. I think I just need a minute.” You burrow yourself deeper into his hold, bring a hand up to his cheek and look into his eyes from where your head is settled on his shoulder. The warm, chocolate brown shade that you love is back; no trace at all of the intense scarlet from earlier. “I’m glad you’re okay now, though.”

Jinho leans down, sponges a kiss on your smiling lips. “I am. I can’t thank you enough for this, it’s… I know it’s a big step. And honestly, I was a little scared you’d just run away because it’s too much.”

But you just shake your head. “I told you: I wanted to help. Losing a little blood isn’t a big deal if it was to help you feel better.”

Your boyfriend groans playfully, securing his arms around your middle and burying his face in your shoulder. “How could I be so lucky?” he whispers, mostly to himself. He feels your fingers gently card through his hair as you both relax. “I love you.”

“I love you too,” you say, cuddling closer.

And when you get the feeling back in your fingers and toes, Jinho sweeps you up in his arms and carries you to bed, promising he’d be back with some water and a granola bar. He leaves with a soft kiss to your forehead. You watch as he ambles back into the kitchen, looking even better than he did a week ago when you last saw him properly.

The digital clock on the nightstand blinks 2:09AM, and you briefly worry about how you’re have to wake up in five hours for work, before saying fuck it, and getting comfortable in the blankets as you wait for Jinho.

Work be damned—you are going to spend some quality time with your sweet boyfriend.

Jinho had always just assumed he would eventually get married. But it'd always just been that, an assumption, a distant idea. Ever since things had gotten more serious with you though, he found himself thinking about it more often. It suddenly seemed like a real possibility, especially now that you'd already moved in together. When you shuffled into the kitchen in the morning, thanking him for making breakfast with a sleepy smile, he couldn't help but think that he wanted to marry you. When he came home to you doing dishes, humming contently as he wrapped his arms around you from behind, he felt that you pretty much already were married in every way except on paper. To him it was just a question of time until the two of you would make it official.

Maybe he even called you his wife in secret sometimes, smiling to himself at the thought of it. He wasn't going to admit that to you though. Maybe he'd tell you on your wedding night, but for now it was a secret he'd keep close to his heart.

Or at least that was his plan.

Thoughts of marriage had been ghosting around in his head for a few weeks already when he received an invitation for his high school reunion. He'd only kept in touch with a handful of people and even among those were a bunch he hadn't seen in a while so it seemed like good timing. Maybe he was also just a little curious what everyone was up to. He asked you if you wanted to come along pretty much the moment he received the invitation—both because it seemed more fun to take you along and because he wanted to share this with you, let you take a glimpse at the person he'd been in high school and the people he'd surrounded himself with. And maybe, just maybe he also wanted to show you off a bit in front of his old classmates, bragging about the amazing person he was dating.

The evening went fine, he connected with old friends and you seemed to be having fun too. To his displeasure, some of his classmates couldn't resist the opportunity to tell you embarrassing high school stories about him—when he saw you giggling, asking "Really?" with glistening eyes he couldn’t even be all that mad about it though.

Everyone really seemed to like you—of course they did, you were you after all—and Jinho couldn’t help feeling a little possessive. He didn't say anything, but he was already looking forward to driving home and having you all to himself again.

He was a little lost in thought, thinking about just that, when someone called out to him.

"Jinho!" The guy smiled widely and it took Jinho a second to recognize him. It was a guy from another class he'd occasionally hung out with. Back then he'd had a huge gap between his front teeth which Jinho had always thought of as somewhat charming, but it seemed he'd had a dentist take care of it since then.

"Hey, it's been a while."

"It has!" He seemed absolutely ecstatic to see Jinho again. "How have you been?"

"Oh, I've been pretty well. What about you?"

Before the guy replied though, you approached the two of them, looping your arm with Jinho's.

"Sorry, I didn't want to interrupt," you quickly apologized when you noticed the break in the conversation.

They guy didn't seem to be all that bothered though, instead letting his gaze wander between you and Jinho and wiggling his eyebrows.

"Ooh, who's this?"

"That's y/n, my wife," Jinho automatically replied, only realizing what he'd said when he saw your head snapping to him from his peripheral vision. His cheeks were heating up with embarrassment but he hoped it didn’t show. Pretending not to have noticed his mistake he just smiled and nodded when the guy congratulated the both of you. Surely, if he ignored it you would ignore it too, right?

Wrong. The moment the door of your apartment closed behind the two of you, you looked at him with a wide grin.

"Your wife, huh?"

"Oh, come on," he rolled his eyes, a weak attempt at hiding how flustered he felt. "It's basically the same thing."

You slipped out of your shoes and coat and walked past him into your living room.

"Mhm, sure," It was clear from your tone that you were teasing him, but before he could complain though, you turned around to him again, with a cheeky smile.

"If you say so, husband."

"H- what?" Jinho stared at you with wide eyes, not quite knowing what to say. He probably shouldn't have felt so flustered about you calling him that, after all you were just joking. But it just sounded so good.

He shook himself out of it, quickly averting his gaze and focusing on getting his coat off instead.

"Don't call me that."

"Why? I thought it was basically the same thing?"

"That was—different!"

You weren’t going to let him off yet though, stepping back into the hallway and wrapping your arms around him, your chin resting on his shoulder as you looked at him.

"How was it different?"

Jinho still couldn't meet your gaze, his heart racing in his chest and his cheeks still hot.

"Just was," he mumbled, the pout audible in his voice.

"Do you really not want me to call you that? Do you really not like it?"

"Stop joking already."

"What if I'm not joking?"

At your words he finally turned to look at you, your face incredibly close to his. "What are you saying?"

"Aren't we basically already married? All but on paper?"

He couldn’t contain the happy smile tugging at his lips. "That's a terrible way to propose."

"Mhm," you replied with a grin, before leaving a peck on his cheek, "then do it better, husband."

Your First Time Being Affectionate In Front Of Another Member ~ Pentagon Reaction

Jinho:

You pushed Jinho towards the door as he pressed a quick kiss to your lips on his way out. “You’ll be late,” you warned him with a grin.

His shoulders shrugged, looking up as Shinwon walked out of his room and towards the front door too, “don’t stop on my account, I’ll just pretend that I didn’t see you kissing.”

“It was one kiss,” Jinho chuckled as Shinwon passed you both by to head out.

His eyes rolled as he looked back to you both, “it’s one kiss more than any of us have ever seen you share before,” he joked, “I didn’t realise that the two of you were affectionate together.”

“And this is why we’re not affectionate around you,” Jinho quickly explained, “because I knew you guys wouldn’t be able to not tease.”

A sheepish grin formed on Shinwon’s face, “I’m just saying, you guys shouldn’t be afraid of kissing in front of us, it’s all very cute and very lovely for us to see.”

“You sound sarcastic,” you laughed back across at him, “are you going to leave this place and regret leaving your room?”

“Absolutely, every single second of it.”

Hui:

A cheer came from you as soon as you saw Hoetaek, immediately wrapping your arms around him. “Congratulations,” you smiled.

His arms moved around you too, forgetting about the boys walking behind him. “I’m so glad that you could be here,” he grinned back at you, pulling away a few moments later.

“Hey, where’s our hugs?” Yanan teased, opening his arms up for you to walk into.

Your head shook as Hoetaek tightened his arm that was around you, “Y/N’s mine,” he reminded them all, bringing you in as tight as he could to see his side as you congratulated them.

“I thought everyone got a hug because we won,” Yanan pouted, “we’ve never seen you exclusively hug Hoetaek before, or do anything.”

You quickly fell silent as you realised that you had never been affectionate with Hoetaek around the boys before. “I’m not letting Y/N hug any of you losers.”

“We’re not losers, we’re winners,” Yanan reminded him, pointing to the award that the boys had picked up at the ceremony.

“Which is why I’m the one getting hugged.”

Hongseok:

As a scoff came, the two of you looked around to see Hyunggu staring back at you. “You know you’re blocking the way around doing this.”

You went to step back, but Hongseok kept a hold of you. “You know there are many other routes you can take to the living room without having to be irritating for once.”

“But this way is the most convenient,” Hyunggu smugly retorted to him.

You went to move again, but Hongseok pulled you back. “Y/N and I aren’t moving, so you can either walk through our hug or take a different way around to head into the living room.”

“What do you see in him?” Hyunggu suddenly asked him, “the first time I see him be affectionate with you, and this is how he is.”

Your shoulders shrugged, feeling slightly stuck in the middle. “I just do as I’m told,” you laughed, feeling Hongseok tighten his grip around you quickly.

“He’s mean,” Hyunggu sighed as he reluctantly walked around your embrace, “I preferred it when you weren’t affectionate.”

“Sorry, but that side of me has gone.”

Shinwon:

The two of you both jumped back as the door opened and Changgu walked in. “Don’t mind me, I just forgot to pick up my phone.”

Your head shook as you stepped back from Shinwon, “it’s alright,” you nervously smiled, bringing your hands forward as you tried your best to bring a smile to your face.

“No need to be shy,” Changgu assured you as he walked past you, “a hug is no big deal.”

As soon as he spoke you felt your cheeks flush with Shinwon chuckling beside you. “I told you that the boys wouldn’t mind if we hugged whilst at work,” he teased, poking your hip.

“We like seeing you guys together,” Changgu also encouraged, “you know that you’re very much treated like part of the family Y/N.”

Your head nodded appreciatively in reply to him, “thank you,” you murmured as Shinwon moved his arm to wrap around you once again, “that means a lot to me.”

“You make Shinwon happy, which makes us happy,” he smiled as he opened up the studio door again, “I’ll leave you two to it.”

“We won’t be too long, I promise.”

Yeo One:

A look of confusion appeared on Changgu’s face as he pulled away from you to see Yuto staring at him. “What have I done now?”

Yuto shook his head back at Changgu as he watched you walk away, “you’ve not done anything, I just think you and Y/N are really adorable with one another, that’s all.”

“How long have you been stood there watching us?” Changgu asked, slightly concerned.

Yuto’s head shook as he realised what Changgu was thinking, “only a couple of seconds, I promise. I just didn’t want to interrupt your hug, you seemed like you needed it a bit.”

“A little,” Changgu frowned, running his hand through his hair, “Y/N gives really good hugs, they’re incredibly comforting for me.”

Yuto nodded understandingly, “you don’t have to be afraid to hug her around us you know, we’re all happy for you seeing how often you smile with her.”

“I’ll bear that in mind,” Changgu replied, “although I know one or two members who’ll find a way to joke with it.”

“Leave them to me, I’m on your side.”

Yanan:

A squeal escaped you as a pair of hands grabbed onto your shoulders as soon as Yanan kissed you. “I’m not having that, thank you.”

Your eyes looked back to see Wooseok pulling you away with a shake of his head. “What are you doing?” Yanan frowned, finding his arms suddenly feeling very empty.

“You’ve got a bedroom to be affectionate in,” Wooseok quickly reminded you both.

Your heads shook as Wooseok made sure that there was plenty of distance between you both. “It was one kiss,” Yanan tried to tell him, but Wooseok wasn’t interested at all.

“I’m keeping a close eye on you both from now on,” he warned, “we don’t want to see any kissing in this dormitory from now on.”

You looked across at Yanan who was equally as confused as you were, “you know that we can’t do that, don’t you?” Yanan asked him with a loud laugh.

“I’ll keep you both apart,” Wooseok promised, “I’ve got young eyes, and they don’t need to see you both being sweet.”

“Your young eyes won’t be young forever.”

Yuto:

A sudden gasp came from you as a hand wrapped around your arm and pulled you down a corridor. “It’s just me,” a voice spoke.

Your hands immediately hit against Yuto’s chest as you realised that it was him holding onto you. “What on earth are you planning at? You terrified me for a second there.”

“I just wanted to get you alone without the boys,” he smiled, holding onto your waist.

The smile on your face grew as Yuto began to pull you towards him, only for someone to clear their throat. “Is this what the two of you are doing, hiding so you can be affectionate alone?”

“N-no,” Yuto stuttered as you looked down the corridor to see Hongseok watching you both with his arms folded across his chest.

His head shook at the looks of fear on both of your faces, “I can’t believe you guys felt as if you had to hide in order to hug each other when around us.”

“It’s better than listening to you guys tease,” Yuto retorted, “I know exactly what you guys would be like around us.”

“We would never do such a thing.”

Kino:

Your paced picked up as Hyunggu started to follow you around the kitchen, “we’ll break something if you don’t stop this.”

Hyunggu didn’t care though as he grabbed onto you and started to tickle you, “they won’t be asleep yet, you don’t need to worry about waking any of them up.

“Oh, won’t we?” A sudden voice spoke up in the doorway to the kitchen where you were.

The two of you both stopped as you looked across to see Hoetaek stood there, “we leave you two alone for five minutes and you’re like kids running around the place causing trouble.

“it’s Y/N’s fault,” Hyunggu quickly told him, pointing across to you, “she blew bubbles at me when we were doing the washing up.”

Your eyes went wide as Hyunggu threw you under the bus, “I didn’t ask you to start chasing me around the kitchen and start tickling me too.”

“Hyunggu, sort it out,” Hoetaek scolded, taking your side straight away, “Y/N is far too innocent to do something like that.”

“You don’t know her like I do.”

Wooseok:

You both froze as the door to the dorm opened up, pulling the blanket tighter around you. “What are you two up to?”

Your eyes darted to the door as Jinho walked through the front door. “We’re not doing anything, we’re just watching a film,” Wooseok quickly explained to him.

“Is that all you’re doing?” He pushed, looking at the close distance between you both.

Your heads both nodded in response, “it just got a little chilly, so we pulled one of the blankets down,” you added, trying to assure Jinho that there was no need to panic.

“You two are cute,” he suddenly complimented though, “it’s nice to see you cuddled up, you’re always so distant from each other.”

You smiled weakly back across at him, “I just like to be respectful that this is you guys’ home, I’m a guest here, even when I’m with Wooseok.”

“Y/N,” Jinho chuckled, “this is your home when you’re with Wooseok, never worry about any of us, trust me.”

“Thanks, that really means a lot.”

Jinho

The short king Jinho himself definitely doesn’t mind that you’re short. If you’re shorter than him, it actually gives him a bit of an ego boost. He likes having you shorter than him since it makes him feel like your protector.

Hui

Hui may be on the shorter side himself but he’s gonna tease you a bit for being short. He actually likes that you’re short. It makes it so he can really wrap himself around you when you cuddle.

Hongseok

Oh man. Hongseok is such a little tease. He teases and pokes fun at your height all the time. If you get bothered by it, he will stop. He thinks you’re so cute -- especially when you get angry and try to be all intimidating.

Shinwon

Shinwon doesn’t mind that you’re short. He actually likes being able to drape his long limbs around you and fully envelope you. He might poke fun here and there but he doesn’t make it a regular thing.

Yeo One

Aww Changgu thinks you’re just the cutest thing. He thinks you’re cute regardless of your height but it just adds to your cuteness. Oh, he might just combust when you have to get on your tippy toes to kiss him.

Yanan

Yanan doesn’t really think much about your height. To him, it doesn’t matter what his s/o’s height is. He loves you regardless. He does sometimes put stuff on the top shelf just to mess with you.

Yuto

Yuto is a sweet but teasing man. He’ll put things on the top shelf just so you have to come ask him for help. He does like that ego boost. He doesn’t verbally tease you much though.

Kino

Kino thinks you’re cute all the time; your height is just a bonus to that. He likes to play around a bit but he never really teases you. He loves being able to wrap his whole body right around your smaller one.

Wooseok

Wooseok is that guy that uses your head like an arm rest. He also calls you shorty and other short pun nicknames. He’s just a menace. He does do it out of love though.

Shinwon will do anything for you, whether it's 3 AM or 4 PM when you need him, he's there. You met him when your parents decided to move to South Korea and enroll you in a Korean high school. There was only one problem, you didn't speak a word of Korean. The first days were hell, nobody spoke to you, partly because the language was a problem, but also because you looked different from others. You didn't belong to the Korean stereotype. For a few days, you were mostly on your own, trying to understand every word that the teachers said and find yourself a place in Korean society. A new house, a new city, new culture. Everything was different from home.

The moment Shinwon walked into class after a few days off due to a death in his family, his eyes were on you. The young lady at the back of the class, sitting quietly leafing through her book with an annoyed expression on her face. His best friend slapped him on the shoulder and gave him an update on who the new student was.

Shinwon had his full attention on you. You on the other hand were too focused to understand a single symbol written on the board. Your eyebrows furrowed, eyes fixed on the board and your tongue sticking out beyond your lips. Shinwon had to and would talk to you no matter what.

Most students thought it was weird. One of the hottest guys in school who took an interest in just one of the least popular ladies, as if they'd landed in fanfiction on Wattpad. Shinwon was careful on his first attempt to talk to you. His English was not at all what it should have been, if only he had paid more attention in class instead of making paper airplanes and then tossing them at his best friend. It could have helped him so much right now.

Sitting on one of the picnic benches outside in the square you scribbled something in your notebook, sometimes they were drawings, and sometimes you wrote a simple story about a bird that just flew over. Suddenly the book was snatched from your hands, your hands actively trying to get the book back from whoever had the guts to pull it out of your hands, but as soon as you saw his face you lowered your hands.

Shinwon flipped through the booklet, the occasional nod, and an approving hum as if it were a project for an exam. In his best English, he commented that he liked it. A smile appeared on your face, the first in a few days and you slowly took the book back from his hands.

''I'm Shinwon, nice to meet you''.

''I'm Y/N, nice to meet you too''.

"Where the hell are you with your thoughts?". Shinwon throws his bag down on one of the tables in the room and then takes a seat in the chair in front of you. His English has improved and, to your surprise, your Korean has gone faster than you expected. Those three evenings a week have paid off.

"Zac Efron," you mutter and Shinwon rolls his eyes. "Sure, like you're ever going to meet that guy." Meanwhile, several students enter the room. Over the past few years, as your Korean got better, more and more social contacts came. Likewise at school. Not everyone was talking to you, but no one was ignoring you either. Shinwon turns leans over the back of the chair and prepares to speak as the teacher slams the door shut. A wink is all you need to know that he has plans.

The friendship between you and Shinwon has grown in recent years, from not being able to communicate with each other to learn each other's language by studying to completely trusting each other about two years later.

A lot has happened in those two years. Shinwon is still the popular dude, you the less popular lady. You often got the idea that when you hang out with Shinwon, you are automatically popular, and often it is. Shinwon on the other hand is the most chill guy you can have in your group of friends. He doesn't care if he's seen as popular, because popularity doesn't define you as a person.

"Psst..." You are startled by Shinwon tapping your arm. "Lesson is over." Surprised but still deep in thought, you grab your things and put them in your bag.

"Let me guess, Zac Efron?". Woo, one of Shinwon's best friends, yells from the doorway, laughing.

"Shut up," you mutter as you pass him into the hallway. Shinwon follows but stops when Woo grabs him by the arm.

"You better get that Zac dude out of her head."

Shinwon chuckles as he wraps an arm around his best friend. "Don't worry, I can handle Zac."

''How many pizzas did you order?''. With some great surprise, you drop the five pizza boxes on the table. Shinwon gets up from the couch with a grin on his face. "What, I'm hungry." You open the boxes of pizza while Shinwon stands behind you. He leans over your shoulder, one arm close to your lower back as he takes a slice from the box. The way he grabs a simple pizza slice is new. Normally he takes one of the boxes from your hands before you close the door at all.

"Yummy," he mumbles with a mouth full and leans against the table, his eyes on you. A smile appears on your face when you see how much he enjoys food.

''Better for your life that it's nice because I don't like to spend money on your addictions''.

You are both sitting on the couch in the meantime, each with a box on your lap. Shinwon's is almost empty, yours is still half full with delicious pizza slices.

Shinwon casts his gaze on you. The past few years have been nothing but great for him. He got to know you, improved his English, you became best friends and graduated together and then both went on to study different directions. He the entertainment, you in law enforcement.

Many things have changed, but there is one thing that will never change until he has the guts to do something about it himself. He's seen plenty of guys hanging around you over the years, but none came close enough to the ideal son-in-law to come home with.

Despite being the popular guy, his attention has always been on you. From the moment he stepped into the room and set his eyes on you, it was clear to him. The butterflies that happily fluttered around again after a few months of being single, said enough.

Shinwon's behavior has changed, that's for sure. The moment he's alone with you, it's like a completely different Shinwon is there. Shy, observant, careful in his actions, and above all, he withheld from touch. Hugs were shorter. And the usual kiss on your forehead when he said goodbye he completely dropped.

It makes you insecure somehow. Why?. No idea. You're his best friend, yet the actions that seemed so normal in years past now seem abnormal.

You drop onto the bed, legs and arms spread like a starfish while closing your eyes. Lots of thoughts running through your head. You turn on your side, facing the wall of polaroid photos from past years. Parties, graduations, dinners, and much more. Shinwon is in almost every photo, even the one from Valentine's Day. A smile appears on your face when you think back to the last school year. Shinwon arrived at school with a balloon, you thinking he had his attention on another lady but no, the balloon came your way. Several students watched the whole view with their mouths open, while you took the balloon uncertainly with a feeling of nervousness. Shinwon assured everyone that it was purely amicable, that best friends can love each other even though there is no intimate relationship. Hearing those words made your heart clench. It hurt to hear, but you didn't know any better. You were best friends and that was it. You don't remember when the butterflies started fooling around in your stomach, you don't even remember the moment you fell in love with him. Maybe it gradually changed from friendship feelings to actual feelings, without even noticing it. What you do know is that you don't want to lose him, even it means that you need to push those feelings away.

A tear slips from the corner of your eye, leaving a wet spot on your pillow. Why does it hurt so much?.

Shinwon parks his car in the university parking lot, he sends you a quick message that he's there and waits patiently until he hears the door open.

"Hey, thanks for picking me up." Shinwon winks and starts the engine as soon as you are safe and sound in the seat.

His behavior, according to you, is still the same. He does the things he's always done, but a little differently. Still no forehead kiss, he will hug you but it feels very distant and he has been very distant the last few days?.

"I have a date tonight," Shinwon says, keeping his eyes on the road. His voice is flat. There is no emotion in it at all and thinking about him being with another woman tonight brings the same feeling again. A stab in your heart.

"Oh, great!. What are you going to do?". You ask with fake enthusiasm. Shinwon runs a hand through his hair as you stop at the traffic light.

"Eating out, she can choose the restaurant. I'll pick her up at 7 o'clock." The same voice again, flat as can be. You lean your head against the car window and sigh. Your gaze falls on his clothes, a small chuckle escapes your lips.

"I hope you're going to wear something different than this." Shinwon quickly glances at his clothes. What's wrong with jeans, a shirt, and sneakers?. "She'll just have to accept me as I am," he mumbles, a little irritation audible in his voice.

"Okay okay, clear. It's your date." Even though you try to be there for him, be happy for him and support him in everything he does, it changes your mood.

"I hope she's the one you're looking for, if not?. You know where to find me'', you blurted out as you get out of the car, with a light blush on your cheeks. You never expected that you would dare to say this. A smile appears on Shinwon's face, the first in the entire car ride. A smile you've never seen from him before.

"You'll hear from me," he calls after you and he quickly drives off, on his way to his date.

Shinwon knew the moment he saw his date walk through the door that he had made a big mistake. This was not what he wanted. His date was a beautiful woman, nothing could be further from the truth. But not the woman he expected. Woo, his best friend, thought it was about time Shinwon started dating. With the reason to get you out of his mind as long as he was too scared to do anything. One of Woo's colleagues thought Shinwon was a handsome man, and Woo didn't have to think twice about pairing the two together. Shinwon didn't know anything, not what she looked like, what she was like, and who she was.

It didn't sit well with him. It's not easy for him either. Having feelings for your best friend is often the worst thing that can happen to a friendship. At least that's what he read on the internet after he researched on google. He wants so badly to be more than that, but he knows full well that it is one-sided. You see him as your best friend, and nothing more. He should have known. A blind date would help him to change his mind, but this doesn't help either.

"Sorry, I have to go," he mumbles and puts some money down for the bill, grabs his coat, and storms out of the restaurant. He can't take it anymore.

Several loud bangs startle you from the series that has been watching for the past few hours, to avoid being busy with Shinwon as much as possible. You rush towards the hall where you take the door off the lock and open it. The very man you tried to fight out of your mind is breathless with one hand leaning against the door frame. "What the hell happened?".

Without saying a word he walks into your apartment, you close the door behind you and follow him. He stands with both hands on his sides in the middle of the living room, shaking his head and turning around.

"Sorry, I have to do this."

He walks up to you, takes your face in both hands, and presses his lips to yours. Eyes as big as the china saucers in your grandmother's closet, hands clenched in fists and your body that can't move in any way, that's how you react to the man who, after all these years, finally kisses you.

Shinwon lets go, a little unsure of how you're going to react, but the frozen attitude your body had taken doesn't give him a straight answer.

"I'm sorry," he mumbles and prepares to disappear from your apartment as quickly as possible.

''For what?. For the fact that it took you years?. Or for the fact that you seriously think I'll agree to just one kiss?".

You are amazed that you can speak at all, your body is slowly thawing from shock, your heart is pumping like crazy and a small blush forms on your cheeks. And you wonder where the confidence comes from. Maybe you are just sick and tired of not being honest about your feelings.

Shinwon chuckles uncertainly, not knowing what to do in this situation.

"So this means that..."

You don't let him finish, you wrap your arms around his neck and kiss his lips.

"It means we were both wimps." Shinwon smiles and without any warning, he grabs your body and lifts you up. Automatically you close your legs around his waist, his hands move from your lower back to your butt.

"Then these wimps should make sure that doesn't happen again," he jokes as he presses a kiss to your lips and makes his way to your bedroom.

Y/N is a marketing employee and she has a friend named Jia. But Y/N has an ex-boyfriend in the human resources department named Jung Doyun who keeps bothering her to get back to him. There is one time while she is working, she suddenly received a message from Doyun and it says….

“Y/N, I want to talk to you after our work- Doyun”

As Y/N read it, she rolled her eyes, and then, Jia noticed it.

“Y/N, is that Doyun again?” Jia asked.

“Yes, it is! He wants to talk to me,” Y/N said.

“You know, just talk to him and clear things up with him,” Jia said.

"Okay! To be honest, I really like to settle things up with him already and I don't want him to lurk around me anymore," Y/N said and Jia agreed with her. After hours of working in the office, Y/N went outside the office of their department and Doyun was already waiting for her.

“Y/N, I am glad you wanted to talk to me,” Doyun said.

“I will make this quick, okay?” Y/N said.

“We will not talk about it here. We will go to a bar since it’s Friday and we can about some things there,” Doyun said and then Y/N raised one of her eyebrows.

“In a bar? Seriously? Also, I don’t have the mood to talk to you in a bar,” Y/N said.

“Please, Y/N. Just this once. I will not do anything bad to you,” Doyun said.

“Fine! We will go to the bar, talk quickly and then I will leave you,” Y/N said.

“Okay! Let’s go!” Doyun said. Then Doyun and Y/N went to a bar and they sat in one of the chairs near the bartender's counter and…

“Y/N, you know that I still like you, right?” Doyun asked and Y/N smirked.

“Really? But you seemed to enjoy that girl’s company and also, you didn’t just do it once but thrice! So, please stop bothering me from now on,” Y/N said. But when Doyun was about to talk to Y/N, a man suddenly excused himself between them and…

“Sorry! I will just get my drink,” the man said which made Doyun angry.

“Hey, mister! Can’t you see that we are talking to each other? Then you will suddenly just come between us to disturb us? Just get your drink and please leave us alone!” Doyun said. Then the man just smirked at him.

"Mister, don't listen to him. To be honest, you have good timing because I don't want to talk to him,” Y/N said which made Doyun surprised.

“I see! Anyways, I will leave the two of you now,” the man said and he left them. But after the man left…

“What did you say earlier?” Doyun asked.

“I don’t want to talk to you anymore and I will never get back to you! I’ll go home now and you can find your bitch here tonight!” Y/N said and she completely left him in the bar which made Doyun got frustrated.

“You will come back to me, Y/N!” Doyun thought. As for Y/N who was already in her apartment, she suddenly thought of the man who disturbed them earlier…

“Why does that man look so familiar to me?” Y/N thought and she just went to sleep.

THE NEXT DAY…

Jia and Y/N are having a lunch break and suddenly Doyun is approaching them and…

“Jia! Let’s go!” Y/N said then Jia nodded.

“Y/N, wait!” Doyun said.

“I already told you last night I don’t want to talk to you anymore! I have to go back to work,” Y/N said and she left him which made Doyun sigh. As Y/N and Jia, went back to work, Y/N suddenly saw an announcement that they will have a company outing and she saw that the CEO will shoulder their accommodation and other things as she saw the CEO's photo, she was surprised…

“Wait! What? The man from the bar is Mr. Jo Jinho? I can’t believe it was him!” Y/N thought and Jia noticed it.

“Y/N, Is there a problem?” Jia asked.

“Jia, I just saw Mr. Jo Jinho in the bar when I am talking to Doyun,” Y/N said.

“What? Are you serious?” Jia asked.

“Yes! He was the one who came between us when I was talking to Doyun,” Y/N said.

“Oh! So, what did Doyun do?” Jia asked.

“To be honest, Doyun was quite rude to him and he just told him that he should leave us alone and he is disturbing us. But for me, I told him it was good timing because I am sick of talking to Doyun," Y/N said.

“Oh! Doyun will be in trouble since Mr. Jo Jinho will be in our company outing,” Jia said.

“I know right! It seems Doyun didn’t recognize him. Let’s see what will happen to him,” Y/N said as she smirked. As time goes by, it was time for them to go home and when she saw that Doyun was about to take the elevator, Y/N closed it making Y/N and Jia laugh.

“It will be better if he will not join us in the elevator,” Y/N said.

“You are right!” Jia said as they laughed. As for Doyun, who was left and didn’t get a chance to get in the elevator…

“This is making me more to get motivated to get her back to me!” Doyun thought. As Y/N and Jia got home…

“You know, I am so excited about our company outing,” Jia said.

“Me too! Especially I am excited that Doyun will know that he messed up with our CEO,” Y/N said as she smirked.

“I know! That will be interesting to watch," Jia said as they laughed. After their conversation, they washed up and went to sleep. The next day, Y/N and Jia went to their working stations then Y/N saw a brown envelope on top of her table and she checked inside and she was surprised because it was Doyun's photos kissing different girls and Jia saw it who also became surprised.

"Woah! Who placed that envelope on your table?" Jia asked.

"I don't know! Oh! Wait! There's a note on it," Y/N said, and as she read it…

“Y/N, don’t ever trust anymore your ex-boyfriend, Jung Doyun. He will just make false promises to you. Also, be careful meeting him again alone. If you are wondering who sent these photos to you, just think I am your secret protector – J”

After Y/N read it, she was surprised.

“Wow! Secret protector, huh?” Jia said.

“I know, right! But whoever sent these photos to me he should have sent it to me when I still didn’t know Doyun was cheating on me,” Y/N said then Jia laughed.

“You know, you should still be thankful that someone cares for you even though he was late to send those photos to you but it seems those photos are recently taken,” Jia said. Then Y/N checked the photos and it has dates on them and she was surprised again.

“OMG! You are right! These photos are recently taken. Doyun should never get closer to me,” Y/N said.

“Also, don’t ever accept invites from Doyun he might really do something to you,” Jia said.

“Yup! I will never go with him anywhere even when we are on our company outing,” Y/N said. As time goes by, it was already their company outing, Y/N and Jia were always together but Doyun kept following them making Y/N angry and bothered. So, she decided to approach which made Doyun quite surprised.

“Can you please stop following me? Just do your thing and I will do mine. How many times will I tell you that I will never get back to you!” Y/N said but Doyun just smirked.

“I won’t stop following you and I won’t give up you to someone else!” Doyun said as he suddenly pulled her closer to her and Y/N pushed him hard making Doyun get back away from her.

“Don’t get closer to me, Doyun! I don’t trust you anymore and let’s see how long will you do that and I bet you will be tired later on,” Y/N said and she left him.

“I will never get tired of you, Y/N!” Doyun thought. At that time, when Y/N is going back to her room, she suddenly bumped onto someone and…

“Oh! I am sorry!” Y/N said and when she saw the man’s face, she was surprised.

“It’s okay! You are Y/N, right?” the man asked.

“Yes! You are Mr. Jo Jinho, right?” Y/N asked.

“Yes! Nice to meet you again,” Jinho said.

“You can just call me Jinho. I don’t want you to be so formal to me,” Jinho said.

“Are you sure? But you are the CEO of the company,” Y/N said.

“I know. But I want you to be comfortable calling me Jinho,” Jinho said as he smiled brightly making Y/N blush.

“Oh! Thank you, Mr. Jo Jinho. I mean Jinho," Y/N said making Jinho slightly laugh.

“Umm… can we talk for a while in the restaurant of this resort?” Jinho asked which made Y/N blush.

“Sure, Jinho!” Y/N said.

“Great! Let’s go!” Jinho said. Then while they are going to the restaurant…

“OMG! I can’t believe I will talk to the CEO!” Y/N thought.

As they went inside the restaurant, they sat across from each other and started to have a conversation.

“What do you want to talk about, Jinho?” Y/N asked.

“I bet that you really remember that I was the man who disturbed you and Doyun talking to a bar, right?” Jinho asked.

“Umm… Yes! To be honest, at first, I didn’t recognize you,” Y/N said.

“Oh! I see. To be honest, I did that on purpose,” Jinho said which made Y/N surprised.

“Why?” Y/N asked.

“I know this will be very surprising to you but I like you, Y/N,” Jinho said making Y/N's eyes go wide.

“I think that’s not a good joke, Jinho,” Y/N said.

“No! I am serious. Also, I am the one who sent those photos of Doyun,” Jinho said.

“Is this a dream? CEO, Mr. Jo Jinho likes me and he was the one who sent those photos?” Y/N thought.

“But why did you have those photos?” Y/N asked.

“I hired someone to follow Doyun and the man that I hired took a picture of some of his cheating habits towards you,” Jinho said.

“What? Really?” Y/N asked surprisingly.

“Yes! I just really cared about you and I don’t want you to go back to him,” Jinho said.

“I will never get back to him because I know he will cheat on me over and over again. But Jinho thank you for the effort that you did. But I really never expect that you will like me, especially since you are the CEO of the company,” Y/N said making Jinho laugh and he suddenly held her hand making Y/N blush.

“Y/N, I liked you ever since I did the final interview with you, and to be honest, I kept checking you out in the office if you were alright. I admit that my heart broke into pieces when you became in a relationship with Doyun but I got so angry at him because he cheated on you. I know this would be fast because this was only our second time to talked to each other. But can you be my girlfriend starting today?” Jinho asked.

“I can’t believe this is happening!” Y/N thought.

“Yes, Jinho! I can be your girlfriend,” Y/N said as she smiled.

“I love you, Y/N!” Jinho said as he kissed her hand making Y/N blush madly.

“I love you too, Jinho!” Y/N said.

“I am glad you accepted me. In the evening, I will introduce you as my girlfriend in front of other employees and will make Doyun surprised,” Jinho said which made Y/N's eyes go wide.

“WHAT? Are you serious?” Y/N asked.

“Yes! Also, because of Doyun’s behavior towards me, I will show him he messed up with the wrong person,” Jinho said.

“That’s interesting,” Y/N said as she smirked. While Y/N and Jinho are still talking to each other, Doyun saw them, and…

“That’s the guy in the bar, right? He just really followed Y/N here! “Doyun thought and stared at them seriously from afar.

“By the way Y/N, while we are on a company outing, many will watch Doyun's actions,” Jinho said.

“What do you mean?” Y/N asked.

“To be honest, the owner of this resort is my friend and I told him that some of his staff should watch Doyun's actions whenever he goes so that you will be safe because you know, not every time I am with you during this company outing and also, you will be with your friend,” Jinho said.

“Wow! Really?” Y/N asked.

“Yup! But don’t worry after my announcement we can be together, okay? Do you trust me?” Jinho asked as he smiled.

“Yup! I trust you and I know you are still busy even though it’s our company outing,” Y/N said as she smiled back.

“Thanks for your understanding, Y/N!” Jinho said.

“No problem, Jinho!” Y/N said.

“Before we leave, I will give this to you,” Jinho said as he suddenly put a titanium steel bracelet on her that has little heart pendants on it making Y/N blush.

“OMG! Thank you so much, Jinho! I didn’t expect you will give me already a gift,” Y/N said.

“No problem, Y/N. I want to see that you are always wearing that and I heard that kind of bracelet didn’t get rusty so you can wear it all day long,” Jinho said.

"By the way, Jia, can Y/N live with me?” Jinho asked then Y/N and her friends were surprised.

“Yes! Don’t hurt her, okay?” Jia said.

“Thanks, Jia! Don’t worry. I will protect and take care of her always,” Jinho said as he smiled at her which made Y/N blush and smiled back. After they had breakfast, Y/N and Jinho talked to each other before they will go back to their rooms.

“Jinho, I didn’t expect you will tell Jia that I will live with you,” Y/N said.

“Why? Are you going to refuse to live with me?” Jinho asked as he raised one of his eyebrows.

“No! I want to live with you. It’s just that I am surprised you suddenly told them earlier,” Y/N said as she smiled.

“Oh! I thought you are going to refuse. By the way, my bodyguards and I can help you get your things in your place,” Jinho said.

“Okay! I suddenly got excited to live with you, Jinho. I love you!” Y/N said.

"I love you too so much, Y/N. I will make our relationship happy as always until we get married,” Jinho said as he kissed her lips passionately and pulled away which made Y/N blush madly.

“I will trust you Jinho, my secret protector,” Y/N said as they smiled at each other. As time goes by, Y/N and Jinho live in one house and sometimes Y/N’s friends visit her. There were times Jinho and Y/N had some problems but they resolve them quickly which made their relationship got stronger.

“I am so happy that I live with you, Jinho,” Y/N said.

“Me too! I love you, Y/N!” Jinho said.

“I love you too, Jinho!” Y/N said as they kissed passionately and had a steamy night.
