There are so many people and causes that need legal help and the ACLU is helping this freak?
By Genevieve Gluck September 18, 2024
The ACLU has successfully fought to have a transgender baby killer be given taxpayer-funded âgender affirmingâ surgeries. Yesterday, the United States District Court of Indiana ruled that Autumn CordellionĂ©, born Jonathan C. Richardson, had been subjected to âcruel and unusual punishmentâ by being denied the various plastic surgeries he had demanded.
Richardson is currently serving a 55-year sentence for the murder of his 11-month-old stepdaughter. As previously reported by Reduxx, Richardson had been left to care for the child while her mother was at work. That night, he was visited by friends who observed he was âacting strangelyâ and refused to invite them in the house as he normally would.
Despite claiming the little girl was sleeping, Richardson had loud music playing in the home, and his guests noted that he appeared to have a fresh, bleeding tattoo of the childâs name carved into his arm. Shortly after his friends left, Richardson went to a neighborâs home and asked them to call 911, claiming the child was unresponsive. The baby would later die at the hospital, with the cause of death determined to be asphyxiation by manual strangulation.
Richardson was booked awaiting a court hearing, and would later tell a prison official âall I know is I killed the little fucking bitch.â The following year, he was found guilty and sentenced to 55 years in prison.
In 2020, while incarcerated at the The Correctional Industrial Facility (CIF) in Madison, Richardson began identifying as transgender and taking estradiol, a synthetic estrogen, and anti-androgen spironolactone. Two years later, Richardson lodged a sexual harassment complaint claiming that he had been raped by his cellmate in 2005, and that he stabbed the inmate in retaliation.
Despite the brutal nature of his crime, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in Indiana took up his case and launched a human rights lawsuit against the Indiana Department of Corrections (IDOC).
In the suit, which was filed in August of 2023, ACLU lawyers refer to Richardson as an âadult transgender female prisoner confined in a male institution,â and complains that âthe total ban on gender-affirming surgery violates [his] right to be free from cruel and unusual punishment under the Eighth Amendment.â
The suit was intended to challenge a recently-adopted policy stipulating that the IDOC cannot provide transgender surgeries to inmates. House Bill 1569, which took effect in July of 2023, bans the spending of state or federal dollars on sexual reassignment surgery for inmates. The bill, the ACLU argues, âmandates deliberate indifference to a serious medical need and therefore violates the Eighth Amendment.â
Among a list of demands prepared by Richardson and presented as evidence in court was a document titled âSurgeries to Reach My Ideal Self.â The first item on the list, the court heard, was a âvagina,â followed by: breast implants, a brow lift, a brow reduction, a tummy tuck, gluteal implants (BBL), a uterus transplant, hair removal, and wigs.
However, during court proceedings Richardson stated that he had amended his demands to two surgeries, an orchiectomy and a penile inversion.
In addition to identifying as transgender, Richardson identifies as âMuslim,â and is currently engaged in a separate lawsuit against his prisonâs chaplain for being denied a hijab.
During his deposition, Richardson told the legal counsel for the IDOC, Alex Carlisle, that in 2018, he had been informed about gender identity by another male inmate at CIF who went by the name of âPearl.â According to Richardson, Pearl had brought in pamphlets from California state prisons that explained the concept of âgender identityâ and introduced to him, for the first time, the idea of taking feminizing hormones.
âI always knew I was a girl, didnât know that term applied. Because until I talked to Pearl I didnât even really know transgender was the name for it. I was hearing at the time that it was transsexualism and that didnât seem to fit me because it was apparently people that like to wear girl clothes to have sex,â Richardson said in his deposition.
However, Richardson also stated that while briefly married to the mother of the infant he murdered, he had been working in an âadult bookstoreâ that sold pornographic videos. While employed as a janitor, Richardson would have sex with various male customers while pretending to be a âgirl.â
Richardson further testified that he had taken the feminine name âAutumnâ after his high school girlfriend, and said that he used to steal his sisterâs clothing and his motherâs makeup as a youth. âWhen I put on the clothes, I could for a second realize the girl inside,â he said.
âI felt I was only a woman when a man used me,â Richardson remarked. âIt was the only acceptable time to be a woman so it brought me a certain amount of satisfaction that I was pleasuring a man like a woman would and I got to express who I was.â
But the mother of the baby girl Richardson strangled to death opposed his legal bid to obtain surgery. Linda Thomas submitted a brief statement expressing her concern that his identity may be concealed from her when he is released from prison.
âOn the day he murdered my child, I personally observed Plaintiff with a fresh bleeding tattoo of my childâs name on his arm while I was at the hospital that evening,â Thomas said. âI live in fear for myself and my children of the day [Richardson] is released from prison, which largely increases at the thought that [his] identity may be concealed upon release.â
ACLU attorneys under the leadership of Kenneth Falk attempted to have Thomasâ testimony dismissed as court evidence on the basis that âMs. CordellionĂ© objected to the relevance of this declaration.â
During court proceedings, Kate Meltzer, a legal representative for the Office of the Attorney General, emphasized an issue of âtimelinessâ related to Richardsonâs attempts to secure an early release.
On January 4th, Richardson had lodged a pro se request seeking a reduction of his sentence. According to Meltzer, Richardsonâs request claimed that the âcircumstances that resulted in the crime are no longer present,â as the motivation for the murder of the young girl was âtied to [his] transgender identity and [his] gender dysphoria.â
The court also heard testimony from Stephen B. Levine, a psychiatrist who specializes in sexual dysfunction and transsexualism, who founded the Case Western Reserve Gender Identity Clinic in Cleveland during the 1970âs. Levine was Chair of the fifth edition of the World Professional Association for Transgender Healthâs (WPATH) Standards of Care in 1998. He also served on the American Psychiatric Association DSM-IV Subcommittee on Gender Identity Disorders.
In March of this year, while the case was ongoing, Levine emailed the Attorney Generalâs counsel Alexander Carlisle pleading with him to empathize with Richardson. According to Dr. Levine, Richardsonâs condition âis a product of the need to find coherence, consistency, and stabilityâ. The âcountless traumasâ experienced by Richardson, the gender clinician said, âbegan with her birth (actually with her pregnancy)â, indicating his belief that a transgender identity develops in utero.
As noted in court documents, in recent years Dr. Levine derived between 40% to 50% of his income from serving as an expert witness in litigation regarding the treatment of patients with âgender dysphoriaâ.
The ruling issued by Judge Richard Young on September 17 has far-reaching implications and sets a precedent for further surgeries and hormones to be doled out at taxpayersâ expense. The verdict declares that the statute added to Indianaâs legal code in 2023 barring the DOC from facilitating âmedically necessary gender-affirmingâ surgeries for inmates qualifies as âsex discrimination.â
In a statement on Richardsonâs legal win, ACLU of Indiana Legal Director Kenneth Falk said: âToday marks a significant victory for transgender individuals in Indianaâs prisons. Denying evidence-based medical care to incarcerated people simply because they are transgender is unconstitutional. We are pleased that the Court agreed.â
The ACLU has pursued multiple lawsuits in several states against the US prison authorities on behalf of men convicted of horrific crimes. As revealed by Reduxx, a 2019 ACLU lawsuit against the New Jersey Department of Corrections which required the state to allow violent male inmates to self-identify into the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women was lodged on behalf of a self-admitted diaper fetishist and convicted terrorist.
Last year, the ACLU of Florida criticized officials for not providing âgender-affirming careâ to a convicted rapist and murderer prior to his execution. Duane Owen had been handed a death sentence after brutally murdering a 38-year-old mother and a 14-year-old girl in 1984. Owen claimed that he sexually assaulted women as part of a ritual to harvest their hormones, and that he was a transsexual who carried out the sexual violence to âturn himself into a female.â

Week 9 - Body Modification & The Impact it Carries
The purposeful altering of one's body for aesthetic, cultural, or personal purposes is referred to as body modification. There are several ways it might manifest itself, such as through tattoos, piercings, scarification, branding, implants, and more. The effects of body alteration are complex and might differ based on personal circumstances and cultural situations.
Self-Expression
Body alteration is frequently viewed as a tool for people to express themselves, establish their identities, or communicate personal meanings. It enables people to express their connections, views, and values graphically and may be a source of empowerment, self-awareness, and self-assurance.
Human bodies have always been objects of alteration, purposefully marked and reshaped in various ways and for varied reasons (Brain, 1979; Caplan 2000). As opposed to current cosmetic surgery, which typically aims to give the appearance of "natural" beauty, such interventions were typically used throughout much of history to distinguish the changed from the natural body in obvious and palpable ways (Henley & Porath 2020). Sometimes these changes were imposed on persons against their choice as retaliation, punishment, or stigmatisation (Henley & Porath 2020). More frequently, they were voluntary actions designed to shield their bearers from danger of various types, mark rites of passage dividing stages in a person's life, or distinguish persons of status and fame (Henley & Porath 2020). These historical bodily changes frequently also appear to have been the result of an aesthetic drive, particularly in the instance of tattooing (Henley & Porath 2020).
Cultural Significance
Many civilizations have strong historical and cultural origins in the practise of body alteration. Within particular groups or subcultures, they may have important cultural, spiritual, or ceremonial significance. For instance, in some cultures, tattoos or particular piercings may represent group allegiances, rites of passage, or social rank.
Prior to the introduction of Westernising reforms at the turn of the 20th century, Thailand used tattoos for administrative purposes and to denote both noble and slave rank (Reid, 1988, pp. 77â78; Terwiel, 1979, pp. 156â160). The holy or magical tattooing traditions, in which religious scriptures and symbols are interwoven into charms written on the body to protect its owner against disaster, are still supported or tolerated by Thai, Burmese, Lao, and Khmer Buddhism today (Cummings & White 2012). Many current Burmese, Thai, and Laotian borderlanders still have intentionally stained or otherwise altered teeth. Many young Thai males still conduct penile alteration, at least among lower socioeconomic classes (Thomson et al. 2008).
Psychological and Emotional Impact
Individuals may have psychological and emotional repercussions from changing their bodies. Self-esteem, bodily satisfaction, and a feeling of personal empowerment may all increase for some people. Others may use body alteration to show their uniqueness, reclaim their bodies, or deal with trauma. For instance, getting a butterfly tattoo on your body may represent freedom, significant change, and tremendous prospects, which might inspire the person receiving the tattoo to feel more optimistic and hopeful about her own development. It's important to understand that not everyone will have a pleasant experience, and some people may struggle, regret, or feel unsatisfied with their changes.

Viagra to help Brazil's military fly the flag at full mast
Far-right President Jair Bolsonaroâs ultra-conservative project for Brazil foresees a country where men are men â in the antiquated, gun-toting, chauvinistic meaning of the word. Among the central tenets of this credo is the military, an institution that for many Bolsonaro supporters represents power, masculinity, bravery, and virility.
While there is certainly a great deal of power within Brazilâs military, recent reports show that virility may be in short supply among the men in fatigues.
Muck-raking by opposition lawmaker Elias Vaz â a specialist in gathering info on public expenditure â found that the three branches of Brazilâs Armed Forces purchased over 3,500 pills of Viagra in eight public procurement processes in 2020 and 2021.
The press hubbub has only gotten bigger since, after it was revealed that not only did the military purchase impotence pills, but that it had also spent BRL 3.5 million (USD 740,000) on penile implants â the intended use of which we can leave up to the readerâs imagination.

How to Increase the Size of Your Penis
Many guys live in fear that their penis will suffer from Wizard of Oz syndrome, revealing them to be very... underwhelming when the curtain is pulled back. The truth is that most guys who are concerned about their penis size are within the typical range.
Even yet, many men are concerned about how to obtain a big cock. Here are the most popular methods or technologies used for penile enlargement, many of which have serious hazards. Continue reading to find out more.
1. Surgically lengthen the penis
A surgeon performs penile augmentation surgery by cutting the ligament that connects the penis to the pubic bone, increasing the perceived length of the penis.
Is this surgery advised? Seth Cohen, MD, a urologist at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City, meets patients who are concerned about their penis size and want to know about penis enlargements regularly.
"The suspensory ligament suspends the penis like a bridge suspension." "Cutting the suspensory pillars on a bridge causes the bridge to lag," says Cohen. "However, I strongly advise against it because your erection will never point north again."
The evidence backs up Cohen's point of view on these proceduresâsatisfaction rates are low, and most surgeons will only offer them in the rare situation of a real micropenis (Campbell, 2017).
2. Surgically increase penis girth
Some practitioners provide surgery to increase penile girth. Two main ways are used.
One method is to inject the patient's own fat into their penis, resulting in an increase in girth. These methods are not widely used since they have not been proven to be highly successful (UCF, n.d.).
Another method is to put a substance like AlloDermâsterile tissue obtained from cadaversâunder the skin of the penis like seaweed in a sushi roll, resulting in an increase in girth. AlloDerm is approved for burn therapy and reconstructive surgery, not penis enlargement; nonetheless, healthcare providers may use an unapproved medication or technology if they believe it is in the best interests of the patient.
When AlloDerm is used for penile enhancement, there have been reports of problems such as infection and skin necrosis in the medical literature (Solomon, 2013; Bruno, 2007).
3. Injections of the penis
Some surgeons inject temporary cosmetic fillers into the penis to increase girth, similar to the fillers used to plump up lips, brows, and smile lines.
"I've never done it myself, but I've seen it done a few times," Cohen admits. "It truly depends on the chemicals you use." Restylane and Juvederm are tried-and-true fillers that we employ on cheeks, chins, and other parts of the body. They typically last six months before being absorbed by the body. They haven't been thoroughly tested on the penis. We really don't have enough facts to prove it works in the long run."
There is a big risk of injecting fillers into your penis. "The penis is a tremendously vascular organ, full of smooth muscle and blood-holding pockets," Cohen explains. "If you fill one area, it may appear blotchy in another." So you get this lumpy, bumpy effect, which is definitely not what people want."
4. Penis augmentation
Permanent penile implants put beneath the skin of the penis have been available for decades for men suffering from ED who do not react to standard therapy.
The FDA authorized the Penuma silicone sleeve for cosmetic improvement in 2004. It costs $13,000 to purchase. Research published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine examined 400 males who had received Penuma implants; they experienced an average 56.7% increase in girth, and two years later, 81% of them expressed "high" or "very high" pleasure (Elist, 2018). One year following the treatment, a short study of three men with "hidden penis" observed a rise in self-confidence and self-esteem (Elist, 2020).
The operation is currently offered by several urologists, however not every urologist will recommend a penile implant for enlargement. "Penile implants are appropriate in males with erectile dysfunction who have not responded to more conservative therapy," says Landon Trost, MD, a urologist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. "The problem with penile fillers and implants is that they have a lot of adverse effects." The vast majority of sexual medicine physicians do not prescribe fillers or Penuma." Sexual dysfunction, infection, penile abnormalities, and other complications might occur as a result of implants (Furr, 2018). More research on these methods is required.
Penile extensors
Penis extenders are traction devices that you put on your flaccid penis for a lengthy period, usually many hours per day. This can result in penile lengthening, though results may take months to appear.
"Nearly anything in the body can be stretched, including the penis, and that has been done for hundreds, perhaps thousands, of years," says Trost, who created the RestoreX traction device to aid men with Peyronie's Disease, a condition in which the penis becomes abnormally curved.
According to Trost, nearly all men who used RestoreX had a penile extension in three randomized, controlled trials (Joseph, 2020). "Penile girth is a little less well established," he explains. "Outside of penile injections (fillers) or surgery, there are no known therapies that have consistently demonstrated a capacity to improve penile girth."
