One step closer to getting my nursing degree. Finished my presentation for my thesis with an 8 out of 10! So so happy. One step closer to my diploma and being able to work as a nurse again, because I still miss it every single day. Had to stop with my clinical symptoms at the NICU, because my health just didn't cooperate. After the PE it wasn't realistic anymore to finish all my products in time. But the good news is I'll start a new one at home care in 3 weeks. It's my old work, so I know most of the people and the way they work there. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it and hopefully my body let me, so at the end of this year I can finally say I did it, I graduated and I'm have my bachelor of nursing (already a nurse, but the bachelor of nursing is on paper better. Happy international nurses day. When someone decides to become a nurse, they make the most important decision of their live. They choose the dedicate themselves to care for others. Being a nurse means to hold your own tears and start drawing smiles on patients faces. To be a nurse is not about the pay, the hours or the title. It's about loving what you do purely for the joy of helping and caring for others. It's one of the most noble professions, because at the end of the day you are able to put others before yourself. It's so hard for me not being able to work anymore, but on days like today it hurts even more.
