i’m back with another request!!🤭
Making homemade candies and baked goods for trick or treaters with kayce! please and thank you!🫶🏻
RACHEL!!!!!!!! YES!!!!! YES PLEASE!!!! It's so sweet I can feel a sugar high already setting in (lol).
Tumblr media
Kayce woke to the sound of classical Halloween music playing from the bluetooth speaker in the kitchen and the clattering of pots and pans. The smells of cinnamon, nutmeg and boiling sugar wafted up the stairs to the bedroom.
He threw aside the covers and threw on the Montana State t-shirt that had been on the back of a chair before heading downstairs where the smells grew stronger.
"Holy shit, something smells good," he yawned. "Whatcha makin?"
"Homemade candies and bakes goods for the trick or treaters," you explained. "Chocolate fudge brownies, chocolate peanut butter cups and bars, popcorn balls, mint grass, all that good stuff."
Kayce had to laugh a little when he saw your book of Halloween recipes out. This time of year, you were like a mad scientist in the kitchen, experimenting with all sorts of sweet and delicious treats that would have one-upped Willy Wonka and always made the neighborhood kids circle back to your place every year at the haunted hayride.
You and Kayce spent the entire day in the kitchen boiling, prepping and baking everything that you could possibly think of. Pretty soon, all the candy dishes and plates were full of every kind of cookie, candy and cake that the trick or treaters wouldn't be able to get enough of.
"Ya know," Kayce remarked as he finished off the last of the dishes. "I still haven't seen your Halloween costume yet."
"Oh you will cowboy," you teased. "Tomorrow night."
And just the thought of you in your Halloween costume was enough to drive him nuts.

Thess vs Recipes
So this is for @calamityjess and anyone else who wants to make chocolate fudge easily, and without a double boiler. It takes less stirring and ow than the peanut butter fudge and nearly every other fudge recipe I’ve tried, so hopefully it’ll be helpful for those who want to make their own sweet treats.
Ingredients
1 can sweetened condensed milk
12oz (340g or so) dark chocolate
Flavouring of choice (1tsp espresso powder, or 1tsp each orange extract, vanilla extract, and cinnamon, or 1tsp mint extract, or just experiment)
Directions
Line a 9″ square cake pan with baking parchment and set aside
Put chocolate and condensed milk in pot; melt on low-medium heat, stirring regularly, until everything’s melted and smooth
Remove from heat and add flavouring (or just have plain dark chocolate fudge if you like); stir a little more, just to mix everything together
Pour into prepared pan; put pan in fridge until fudge sets
Once set, cut into squares
And that’s basically it. Makes some seriously tasty fudge, too. Enjoy, and happy holidays!

10 Creative Homemade Chocolate Recipes to Impress Your Guests
https://fightglorycom.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/image-29.png?w=2046
1. Chocolate Truffles
Soft, smooth, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, chocolate truffles are an all-time favorite. To make these, simply heat heavy cream until it simmers, then pour it over your favorite chopped chocolate (dark, milk, or white). Stir until smooth and allow it to cool. Once it’s set, roll it into balls and dip them into cocoa powder, powdered sugar, or finely chopped nuts for an elegant finish. These bite-sized delights will have your guests coming back for more.
Pro Tip: For a fun twist, add a splash of flavored liqueur, such as Grand Marnier or Baileys, for a grown-up version!
2. Chocolate-Covered Strawberries
Chocolate-covered strawberries are a classic, but they never go out of style. They’re simple to make and look stunning when displayed on a platter. Melt your favorite chocolate and dip each strawberry, allowing the excess to drip off. You can even drizzle them with a different type of chocolate (milk over dark or white over milk) for a decorative touch.

3. Chocolate Bark with Nuts and Dried Fruit
Chocolate bark is easy to prepare, and you can get creative with the toppings. Simply melt your favorite chocolate, spread it out on a baking sheet, and top it with a mix of nuts, dried fruit, or even crushed cookies. Once it sets, break it into pieces and serve. This treat is both visually appealing and indulgent.
Pro Tip: Try adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top for a sweet-and-salty combo that will leave your guests craving more.
4. Chocolate Mousse
Rich, velvety, and oh-so-decadent, chocolate mousse is a crowd-pleaser. To make it, melt chocolate and fold it into whipped cream, along with a little sugar and vanilla. For an added twist, infuse the cream with a hint of coffee or orange zest before mixing it in. Spoon into elegant glasses and chill before serving. Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or fresh berries.
Pro Tip: For a dairy-free version, use coconut cream in place of regular cream!
5. Chocolate Fudge
Fudge is an easy-to-make dessert that packs a rich, intense chocolate flavor. To make classic chocolate fudge, combine sweetened condensed milk with chocolate chips and a little butter, then heat until smooth. Pour into a greased pan, let it set, and slice into squares. You can also add nuts or swirl in peanut butter for a twist.
Pro Tip: For a festive touch, top your fudge with colored sprinkles or mini marshmallows.
6. Chocolate Dipped Pretzels
For a sweet and salty treat, dip pretzel rods in melted chocolate and sprinkle with toppings like crushed nuts, sprinkles, or even crushed cookies. These chocolate-dipped pretzels are perfect for parties and will add a fun element to your dessert spread.
Pro Tip: Experiment with different types of chocolate (white, milk, and dark) for a colorful and delicious array.
7. Chocolate Lava Cakes
The ultimate indulgence, chocolate lava cakes are as impressive as they are delicious. These individual cakes feature a molten chocolate center that flows out when cut. To make, prepare the batter with melted chocolate, eggs, and a little flour, then pour into ramekins. Bake just until the edges are set and the center remains gooey.
Pro Tip: Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and fresh berries for the perfect dessert.
8. Chocolate-Covered Almonds
For a simple, yet refined treat, chocolate-covered almonds are perfect for snacking. Roast almonds lightly, then dip them in melted chocolate (dark or milk). Lay them out on parchment paper and let them set. You can also drizzle them with white chocolate for an elegant look.

9. Chocolate-Coconut Truffles
If you’re a fan of the coconut-chocolate combination, these truffles are for you. Mix shredded coconut with condensed milk, then roll into balls and dip in melted chocolate. These no-bake treats are simple to make and have a tropical, indulgent flavor.
Pro Tip: Add a little rum extract to the coconut mixture for a touch of flair.
10. Chocolate Dipped Biscotti
For a crunchy, delicious treat, try chocolate-dipped biscotti. Make your favorite biscotti recipe, then dip the ends in melted chocolate. Allow them to cool and set for a satisfying crunch with each bite. Perfect for pairing with a hot cup of coffee!
Pro Tip: Add a sprinkle of orange zest or cinnamon to the biscotti dough for an extra burst of flavor.
