La settimana appena finita è stata densa di cose da fare, soprattutto in cucina. Al supermercato ho trovato delle confezioni di frutta matura a prezzi davvero convenienti e così ne ho approfittato per prepare succhi, pesche sciroppate e congetture. Lunedì scorso ho postato il succo di albicocche, oggi tocca a quello di pesche, anche questo buonissimo e facilissimo da preparare. . Scorri per vedere gli altri scatti . And suddenly I knew it was the time to let go. I couldn’t hang onto somebody who was jumping off a bridge every day of their life. I had to smile again. I had to learn to laugh again. The thought of walking my path alone terrified me, but I knew prayer and whatever power the Universe holds was with me, guiding me to safety and strength. I knew if I asked I would receive. I believed in myself more than ever before. Yes I hated being alone. I think we all do until we learn to love ourselves fully. So now I had a choice, I had let go, and now the steps to growth were being unveiled before me, all I had to do was move my feet forward. 

I had to focus on me for the first time in a very long time. I felt selfish, absurd, unworthy, but something in me knew it was right. Sweet nectarine juice dripped down my chin as I really tasted food again. Music played all around me and for the first time I could really enjoy myself. I could dance without worry or fear and I could laugh with a friend in careless innocence. I could do whatever I wanted, with trepidation, this was a new beginning and I was ready.
