Good morning, all, and welcome back to this second day of our glorious Girlbosstember! Yesterday’s matches wrapped up as anticipated, with Kimi entering the Quarterfinals of her League by a wide margin and Hestia entering hers by a narrow one. We will see them both return to the polls when we begin the next round.

For today’s matchups, things are sure to get really intense! Every single entrant today garnered more than a 75% rate for nomination during the preliminary round! Up first in the Love League, we have the heated battle between Ace versus Ozeca! Both ladies have purple eyes and know their way around an armory, but that might be where their similarities come to an end. Ace is the itinerant knight younger sister of Pigeon’s Queen, who left her home behind in order to find a way to save her sister’s failing memory and to assist the causes of the light. Her list of badass moments include jumping out of a tower with Nikki in her arms to save her from captivity! Princess, Knight, and perhaps supreme Girlboss? We will see! The other hopeful today is of course Major Ozeca of League Tyr, the main female presence on the Night Ordered. As Nidhogg’s right hand woman, she has faced down the Iron Rose Stylist Legion, has worked alongside the likes of Dr. Gray Raven and his assistant Peachy, and perhaps most heroically, endured the presence of Reid Mercury. Could anyone but a true Girlboss get through all of that with her job intact? You decide! Given that the two contestants were separated by literally one vote in the prelims, this Love League battle is sure to get heated! Ace currently holds a 20% lead, but that could easily change when the full League Tyr Voting Bloc arrives at the polls. Keep an eye on this one for sure!

The Shining League Match for today might be just as divisive! Up today for their first appearances in the polls are Queen Lilith and Yunikina! Queen Lilith is famous for selling her soul to her demon butler to become beloved by all in exchange for never being satisfied. In Shining Nikki she currently reigns as the nearly universally loved Queen of Ninir kingdom—and those voters who are familiar with Love Nikki should also be aware that she is in fact, the woman that they will rename the entire country after. Is that the mark of an ultimate girlboss? Facing her is another figure who becomes a legend in Miraland—Yunikina, the army general who led the Snow Eagle Revolutionary Force. While perhaps not having a country named after her, she founded a legacy legion that carries the torch of her spirit for centuries to come as well as inspiring a Lifetime Crafting suit in both games. It might not be named after her, but North would not be as it is today without Yunikina’s influence. But which of these titans should also be adding ‘true girlboss’ to their list of accomplishments? Only you, the Girlbosstember voters, can decide! Lilith holds a lead following early morning voting, but that could flip at any time!

A new set of verses, he observes, his grin widening even more.

Burying his face in the crook of your neck, the idol asks:

“Why did you stop singing, my lovely?” He leaves a trail of soft kisses on the side of your neck, making his way to your jawline, cheek, and the corner of your lips.

“Momo…” You whine, looking down, the temperature on your face rising.

You always got so shy when he caught you humming or singing some tune.

Getting annoyed when someone is mean or mistreats those you love is a trait you and Momo share. It is seen on several occasions how he goes above and beyond for his friends, so he’d be able to understand your feelings in that regard.

With Peachy and Toni both in the hospital, and grandparents babysitting, the family had decided to hold off on any sort of big “Meet the Baby” parties.

Still some friends and family had trickled into the bay to see the new arrival, and Jack was surprised that one of them was Peachy’s old slacker bro Fabian.

While Fabian was setting grandma Gabby at ease with a gift for the little one, Jack soothed a hungry Luigi with a bottle.

He recognized the look of uncertain longing in Fabian’s eyes as he introduced him to his son. Jack remembered standing where Fabian stood now, watching his friends and acquaintances introduce him to their bundles of joy, with no certain plan on achieving the same for himself.

Jack had only really gotten to know Fabian recently, but a shared appreciation for the law, and a certain lawman, had helped them bond quickly. Leaving Luigi in the care of his capable grandparents Jack invited his friend down to the docks for a drink and a chat at the local bar.

Maybe, he reasoned, he could help the other sim figure out a path to fatherhood much more quickly than Jack himself had managed to do.

After a quick change out of the clothes his boy had managed to leak on, the two men arrived at the venue. Jack decided to start things off with some friendly foosball to give them something to do while they chatted and put them both in a relaxed frame of mind.

While they played Jack got caught up on Fabian’s latest adventures, learning that he’d been studying advanced potion making techniques with Peppino after a reintroduction to the immortal mage by Peachy and had recently moved his new girlfriend into his old family home in Strangerville.

Jack emerged the victor of their matchup and gladly accepted Fabian’s offer of a congratulatory drink at the bar.

After receiving their order and quenching their thirst Jack turned the conversation to children. A little juice, a simple thank you to Fabian for coming to visit, and a few carefully chosen words about how much joy Jack was finding in fatherhood so far was all it took to get the other sim to open up to him.

Fabian admitted he was a bit envious of Jack and Peachy and their “perfect” new family. He’d always wanted children, but his ex-wife had kept putting him off, waiting for the “right time”. Unfortunately, their time together had run its course before Tasha felt that time had come, and that baby never arrived.

Fabian felt as if he’d already been waiting ages to start a family but wasn’t sure how to bring up the topic with his new girlfriend.

Jack could relate. He remembered how scared he’d been of spooking Peachy by broaching the subject of children, even though he’d had the confidence of his conviction that Peachy would be producing a legacy heir eventually, which was a detail he didn’t try to explain to the native.

His advice for Fabian was simple – talk to Aisha. If she loved him enough to move in with him, he didn’t think the mere mention of a child would drive her away, and if Fabian wanted kids that badly it was better to know sooner rather than later if the two of them weren’t on the same page in that regard.

As they were leaving Jack admitted that he bitterly regretted all the extra time he could have had with his son if only they had started their family sooner. He wished Fabian luck before saying goodbye and heading back home to spend more quality time with the precious tiny person that had stolen his heart.

I also feel like I’ve gotten a good feel for your personality just by you hanging out on my blog, this is what drove me to ship you with Jongho! You are so incredibly pleasant, everything about you is just beyond precious and I honestly think that Jongho is very well suited to someone like you. Jongho is a unique idol, he obviously acts the part of an idol but he has maintained a lot of his deep and “realistic” traits. You are fairly open with your personality; this is what would attract Jongho to you. He would actually feel a bit shy around you, you were just so fun and bubbly in contrast to his initially more reserved nature. It would also take him a while to actually confess to you but once he did, he never looked back.

 In these ships I like to start with your appearance and later move onto your personality. So, I just have to say you are so cute, like actually 100% adorable. Your eyes are so deep and kind, pairing that with your award-winning smiling it’s just too much (in a good way ofc). ✨Girbosstember✨Official Commentary— Day 4

Gooooood morning, Girlboss deciders!

Yesterday’s matches finished as anticipated, with the Mayor of Moonlit City advancing in the Love League and Yexiao claiming the Shining League’s next Quarter Finals spot. They’ll be back to continue their quest for the Ultimate Girlboss Crown later on!

But the playoffs are still playing, and we have some exciting matchups for you today! First up in the Love League, it’s Yvette against Peachy! Yvette has perhaps one of the most drastic character arcs throughout the plot of Love Nikki. While we first meet her as the meek and anxious personal Secretary to then-Prime-Minister Nidhogg, after his status as a double agent is revealed, her career is damaged. What’s more, some further meddling from that villain up North gets her framed for treason! But she fights her way back into good standing with the light and used her experiences to take a stand against having Miraland’s society structured exclusively around styling ability, founding the Fair Future College and acting as its principal in the hopes of effecting widespread change so no one else will struggle like she has. Girlboss worthy moves? We will see! For her part, Peachy is also famously the assistant to a villain, but this enthusiastic nurse is not being duped in the slightest. She is not only complicit but often a key supporter of Gray Raven’s shady medical procedures, assisting him in keeping the soul-stealing Sixth Clinic operational as well as participating in other underhanded schemes that he has need of. Why does she do this? Why, to stay forever young, of course, and also for love! She wants Gray Raven to be her boyfriend, which shows how truly fearless she must be. Is this self aware evil nurse the girlboss we seek? You decide! Yvette has established a strong and early lead but nothing is set in stone yet!

Meanwhile in the Shinjng League, we have Zoey against Yisu! Let’s not mince words, Zoey is one of those candidates who has often been pegged as the likely winner of her League. She performed excellently in the prelims, garnering more than a 90% nomination rate. She has been leading her own men from a very young age and has fought her way through the dog eat dog world of North’s militant landscape and come out on top as the leader of her own mercenary band, the Justiciars. Her time management skills must be through the roof however, because she’s not only managing that but also has a side career in the theater, working with the December Troupe to star in a show, as well as making time for some much deserved vacation days. Is Zoey’s take-charge, badass, having-it-all energy what voters are looking for in their girlboss? We will see! Up against her today is Yisu. A nomadic young woman who’s handy with a bow, she wanders Wasteland determined to protect it despite having lost her memories of her past and her identity. She also seems to strike up homoerotic relationships with young ladies in several different tribes such as the Priestess Tess and Priestess Rhoda. In actuality, she is another one of the envoys whose purpose will be to assist Nikki in saving Miraland. Is all of this enough for her to outGirlboss Zoey? We’ll find out! Zoey has an early lead, but the gap is not insurmountable for Yisu.

LOOMIS ARALOS

Loomis (trollian tag: terrestrialAnion) is a blue-blooded troll with an interest in maps, knowledge, and space! A Prince of Light, you both may clash from time to time due to his habit of nullifying and destroying your abilities as a fellow Light player. It keeps things interesting, at least, and he doesn’t do it on purpose I swear! He appreciates your polite mannerisms when you first meet/talk online, and matches them. He is, however, ridiculously talkative and is willing to do all the talking and instigation for you both until you get comfortable enough with him.

Once you do get comfortable, you bet that you’ll have sass-offs, as he’s a particularly sassy boy himself.
