Good evening, anon! Some of my headcanons I'll share are ones that I talked about with @peachchanvidel, and others might be ones that I come up with on the spot haha. Please give lots of love to Peach! 💕💕💕 She has wonderful ideas and has been such a great friend in helping me when I'm stuck or just brainstorming different story ideas/chapters.

Tenzin got his tattoo as a way to rebel against his mom. He got it done secretly at 18 and Sokka helped him keep the secret 🤪 Tenzin didn't reveal it to Katara until he left to complete mandatory military service. He waved bye to her and she saw it, then demanded "Get back here, right now Tenzin Wang!!!" as he continued to walk away with a smile.

Aang was Lin's teacher when she was a high school student, and he inspired her to pursue education as a career. He was also a strong fatherly figure during her teen years, and she's so proud to work with him as an adult.

Lin and Su don't have a complicated and toxic relationship like canon shows us. Rather, we see how their priorities clash and how Su neglects to help Lin and step up in taking care of family affairs.

Lin has only had one past serious relationship (do not ask who this person is lol)

Tenzin has had multiple exes and there's a pattern with them

Lin's social media is mostly pictures of nature, food, and some loved ones. Her IG stories are either food or gym 🤷🏻‍♀️ sometimes the neighborhood cat makes an appearance too

Tenzin's IG is nature, cool places he's visited, art, hiking pics, Oogi, maybe some fun event he went to and dressed up a bit. His stories are videos of views, food, animals, and a selfie with some weird caption

Tenzin prefers sunny weather and reading outside by the ocean or a pool

Lin hates the heat and prefers to be nice and chilly. Rainy weather is the perfect day to curl up with a book, in front of a window, and a cup of tea

I’m only going to talk about stories I’m actively in the middle of...I have several more that I’ve thought a lot about and even gone so far as to outline, but they’re really not what I’d consider WIPs (if anyone is seriously curious about those, you can see some ideas in my #fic-I-haven’t-written-yet tag).

A Void Between Two Stars: the next installment of the alien larp au. In this au, Kouka is undergoing a secret alien invasion, and Suwon is an AI who's supposed to be keeping everything on the planet just the way the aliens want it... but instead has gone rogue and chosen to fight for Kouka's independence. In this installment, the connection between the AI and its human host has been severed. Suwon--both of them--must learn to live as only half of himself, and Judo faces a challenge trying to figure out which one, man or machine, is truly his king. Completely drafted, in need of some revision and editing. 

Ouryuu's Dragons: this one is technically finished, I just have to type it up (...and figure out a better title). It's based on @sorasan000's idea that Suwon is Ouryuu incarnate, and that the three remaining dragon gods bestowed their blood upon their corresponding generals to give him dragon warriors of his own. When Yona and crew hear rumors of this, they go to Fuuga to investigate, where they find the new Ryokuryuu Tae-wu torn between the loyalty he's always felt for Hak and his new, unforseen dragon-blood loyalty to the king.

GeunYuno alien larp fic: another sci-fi au fic expanding on how Yuno told Geuntae that she wasn't human, and how he realized he loved her all the same. I thought this was finished and then I came up with a lot more I wanted to add and I decided to set it aside so I was only working on one story in this au at a time.

Guen has a kid: a short ficlet on the idea that Guen had a daughter before he became a dragon warrior. Meant to be short and cute and basically a break from editing serious stuff.

WIP meme (part 1)

WIP FANFICS (because sometimes I write, not that I’ll ever post these but still) #1: Suwon gets his arm badly hurt during a battle and it has to be amputated. There are two versions of this, one where judoh volunteers to assist during the procedure and one were Hak does. I like both so I don’t know what to do. #2: AU where Yona and suwon get married. Que very awkward courting because obviously this is what would happen, this is suwon and yona we’re talkign about. THey blush and can’t speak and get frustrated. Then there’s the weddign night and absolutely zero smut happens because suwon is so flustered he’s about to have a stroke and he’s about as clueless as yona is. They just end up cuddling awkwardly to sleep. (I’ve written many versions of this but none really reflect the awkwardness and innosence I want to give to it.)

#3 Yona and co are part of the army in the war against Kai. When an unexpected wave of bad weather hits the land, suwon’s informants are delayed and a large portion of the kai army is starting to attack villages for resources, killing innocent people. Yona and Suwon argue on what should be done. The story is just a comment on war-induced lack of morality and the responsibilities of commanding. (written, needs some fixing up, I like the most part of it but I can’t find the right ending) #4 modern AU (Jusu). Judoh regrets his choice of allowing Suwon, a graduate  student to stay at his place for a little while. But he owed a big favor to yuhon, and the youth’s apartment mysteriously caught fire and burned to the ground, so until he can find a new place, judoh has to deal with this. But Suwon is infuriatingly and effortlessly finding his place in judoh’s life and that’s scary. (written but I’m not happy with it yet)

#5 Yona and hak walk around a random town when an archery contest sidetracks them. Yona is very ready to compete for the prize (a large, smoked piece of meat that yun will love) against a bunch of useless drunken townsfolk, when a mysterious stranger steals the victory righ tout of ther hands. (this is more or less finsihed and just needs some touch ups. I might actually upload this)

#6 Hak goes to the dentist. This is all I have. I don’t remember where I wanted to go with it.

#7. Suwon witnessed his first execution when he was six (aka Yuhon’s questionable methods of education) (written the basics for it, need to turn it into soemthing readable) #8 Suwon pays his mother a visit after his coronation. (half-written) #9 Judoh slowly dies of an infected wound. ( I’ve written like the first three paragraphs of it then it just became so dark and I kinda stopped. Might revisit it sometime)

#10 In the AU where Judoh and Suwon go undercover in xing during the war preparations (alterign the canon storyline), they get captured and somehow Kouren mistakes Judoh as Yuhon’s son, and Suwon as his advisor. Que a bunch of prison-related angst, sufering and chaos. Judoh almost gets executed. (written but I think I went too far with the violence and I’m really lost with how canon went and how I should treat the xing characters so Idk if I’ll ever do anything with this.

I probably have more because when it comes to fanfics I start many of them but I never finish anything. I did not include my SooHak wips because they’re just mostly smut or hate/love-filled hak POVS so yeah. I also have unfinished Jusu stuff (like, tons of little unrelated scenes) and a whole lot of suwon-related whump. (suwon getting an arrow on his back, suwon getting trapped under a collapsed building, suwon getting a spear removed from his leg etc etc.) Art WIPS will come tomorrow because now I’m very tired and I can’t

1.) Renji & Rukia Hug

I was actually so unaware while drawing this. I just did a sketch and liked it enough to give it a proper ending and it took some time until I realized that it had some special effect. I was told that it is very intimate in they way one barely sees their faces but Rukia’s smile is visible through her eyes. It wasn’t until then I also noticed this. 

2.) No matter when or where we were together, we were born to see the stars

Uff, I remember this was quite hard to complete for me. It also was the first compilation I drew digitally, and I slowly switched to digital after this. I must admit, I really love it q.q I had great early Bleach vibes while I was drawing these pieces and I still love how they turned out, despite some mistakes. It actually has a concept, I wanted to draw two Renji -> Rukia moments (in a good time and bad time in Inuzuri) and two Rukia -> Renji moments (also good vs bad time). I am very interested in their Inuzuri days and it was great to give this some room.

3.) Summer Day

It was my second submission for the RenRuki week. I had some troubles finding an idea for this prompt but suddenly I remembered the colourspread and then it was there suddenly. I still like the composition a lot and that Renji puts his hat on her. For some reason I think this is quite in character for him.

4.) Adult Toushirou 

I am kind of proud how he turned out because he has such a dynamic pose and I love how his face. It was actually a training sketch for me as I was testing my new graphic tablet. For some reason I felt I had much more possibilities to unfold myself as an artist with this new graphic tablet. It somehow broke some chains and I felt freed. Maybe that’s why he looks lively.

5.) Happy Family 

They just seem to be at peace and that’s what I wanted to draw. It is so difficult to draw a new-born because they look basically like little crumpled potatoes and it’s easier to draw chubby infants of 4-12 months. Still I am glad I chose to draw Ichika shortly after birth, because I think it’s a very special moment when both parents unite with their child for the first time in private.

1) Haruka/Seiko ‘Lovely Complex’ Fanfiction.

“I’m sorry to cut this short, but I have to go somewhere.” Seiko smiled.

“Of course! Don’t let us keep you!” The first girl nodded.

“Ah, Seiko, wait!” Haruka said loudly all of a sudden. Seiko blinked at him in surprise and didn’t miss the way he easily pulled out of the first girl’s grip and also didn’t miss the way her heart warmed at that harmless action. “It’s already late and if you’re going to Risa’s place you’ll have to go across that street where the streetlights are being fixed, I’ll go with you. It’s too dangerous for you to go alone.”

2) Murtagh/Nasuada ‘Inheritance Cycle Fanfiction

“Will you allow me to heal you?”

“Yes…”

“Where are they going?!”

“Away.”

A sob made its way out of her throat. Her heart hurt.

“Try not to burn down Aroughs, would you? Cities are rather hard to replace.”

Everything around her was on fire. People who meant the world to her were burning. Tears were streaming down her face. The air was vibrating around her in a way that made her teeth jar. It was as if the wind was beating down on them in punishment and yet the fire did not cease. She fell to her knees, screaming, screaming, screaming someone’s name. To save her, to save the people around her, to see her one last time. She was dying, her body was on fire, her blood burned like oil. It hurt, it burned, it was the most agonizing thing she had felt in her life and through the fear and pain devouring her mind, she heard someone scream her name.

3) Jaeki Assasin AU.

“You look adorable.” Jaeha chuckled.

“Hah?” Kija made a noise of confused outrage.

“So this is what an artist’s workshop is like.” Jaeha moved on and looked around, still holding Kija’s face in his hands.

“It’s a mess,” Kija blurted. Jaeha looked back down at Kija.

“I was about to say it looked artistic.” Jaeha shrugged, that playful grin tugging at the corners of his lips.

4) Little Miracles (Teen Dad!Kagutsuchi AU)

“He’s coming this way!” Kagutsuchi shot to his feet and dived behind the sofa. He watched with narrowed eyes as the baby crawled over to Yata and the duffel bag.

“Kagu, can you stop being terrified of your own kid?” Yata asked, watching as the baby rubbed his face experimentally against Yata’s school uniform pants.

“Maybe he’s scared cause Take’s really small?” Sakuya suggested, crawling closer to the baby.

“I-I’m not scared!” Kagutsuchi hissed like a cornered cat. “Also, what the hell is that smell?”

5) Hanakotoba Gone Wrong (based off a conversation I had with @mokomokuren)

“I will inform her at once.” Kunimi turned and walked out. Ebisu sighed and sank back into his chair. It was exhausting, all this thinking of gifts and what someone would like most. If it had just been some random normal gift, he would have sent an envelope of cash or some check. But this wasn’t the kind if situation in which he could do that. It was a time that required ‘delicacy and sharp thinking’ as one of his female shinki had told him once when he was a child.

Ebisu grumbled under his breath and bent down to pick up all of the books. As he straightened up to put the last book on his desk, he slammed his head into the table. Letting out a muffled howl, Ebisu curled up on the ground and rubbed the back on his head. It was then he noticed the open magazine near his face. It was a section for women and it talked about western flower meanings. Ebisu sat up, crouched underneath his desk and grabbed the magazine.

6) Shin Soukoku Fanfiction

There was a sudden crackle in the air and then Rashoumon went right past his face and hit something behind Atsushi. Atsushi felt blood splatter against him and he fell to his knees, suddenly able to breathe. He looked up and saw Akutagawa walking towards him, his face contorted with pure rage. Atsushi ignored the cries of pain and terror behind him and leaned heavily on Akutagawa’s legs when he came and stood next to him. Rashoumon was doing all the work. Atsushi felt exhausted. He was tired and he wanted to both laugh and cry.

How ironic did they look? Special Task Force Detective leaning for support on The Black Beast? How did Atsushi’s face look, torn between sobbing his eyes out at the amount of fear that had hit him and laughing because he felt so relieved that Akutagawa had come to save him? Atsushi squeezed his eyes shut. A tendril of Rashoumon slowly curled around Atsushi, warm and pulsing with life and comfort.

7) Through Your Eyes (Blind!Kiun Takiun Fanfiction)

“Daddy! Look! Isn’t that man running there from Mom’s picture frame? Look at him dad-”

“Kiun! Get down!”

Kiun only briefly saw a truck run into the man he had been looking at a moment ago and his father swerved violently to the right to avoid crashing into the truck. Someone smashed into their car and for a moment Kiun saw the shards of glass from his window hang motionlessly in the air and then they rained down on him.

“DADDY!”

8) Zoe and Zander Universe (Original Story)

“Don’t I?” Zander grinned. “Anyway, now that we’re done with breakfast, we should get moving, Princess. We need to outrun our pursuers and find you new clothes.” Zander got to his feet and threw the apple core somewhere behind him. She got to her feet too and Zander barely had enough time to draw his dagger and block her. She growled in frustration as she tried to overpower him and stab him. “I thought we weren’t going to do this so early in the morning?” Zander asked. She glared up at him.

“You said you didn’t have breakfast, so I let you have breakfast,” was her answer. Zander wanted to slam his forehead into the nearest tree. Why was he stuck escorting this wild creature?

9) Lawlu (Vampire!Luffy Fanfiction)

Law stared, and the boy stared back. It took two seconds for the boy to recognize him.

“Geh,” The boy made a noise in between a gasp and a sound of disgust. “Got to run!” Law was ready this time. The boy had obviously been born with fast reflexes, but he wasn’t escaping from him this time. Law grabbed the back of the boy’s shirt.

“Oh no, little heartless boy, you’re not running anywhere.” Law said in his darkest voice.

“Why can’t I? I can do what I want! I have my rights!” The boy flailed his legs around wildly as Law held him up by the back of his glaringly red shirt.

“Little heartless boys are dead. And dead walking people don’t have rights.” Law replied. He allowed a manic glint to grace his eyes as he ran his tongue across his bottom lip. “You’re going to become my research subject, Mugiwara-ya.”

“EH?!”

Lesson of the day? I have too many WIPs.

The boom of fireworks resonates overhead, signaling the start of the new year. Yun-ho and Geun-tae have taken to one of the palace’s many balconies for a little respite from the oppressing- almost dastardly- court air that has permeated this year’s celebrations. Rumors have spread about how the Earth Kingdom’s revered general has finally been enamored by a young girl barely brushing womanhood. As such, Geun-tae’s romantic affairs have instantaneously become the spotlight for many, many nobles tonight, and frankly, he has quite enough.

Geun-tae stretches his neck, tilting his head towards the night sky and breathes out a heavy sigh. “This is why I hate coming to events like these. Nobody knows how to mind their own business!”

Yun-ho’s giggles ring between the fireworks. “Well, at least it’s almost over, Geun-tae-sama. Only an hour more and we can return to our quarters.”

Geun-tae groans, causing another fit of giggles from his partner. Cracking open an eye, he watches as her face lights up in different shades of orange, purples, reds. The smile she dons is resplendent, and Geun-tae cannot help but reach out. Their hands intertwine with the comfortableness procured over the past month of almost daily conversation, exploratory touches and equal standing. Her smile is then directed to him and Geun-tae wonders over how much has changed between them, how much more he has fallen.

“Hey,” he squeezes her hand, voice soft. At her inquisitive hum, he ducks his head and stares at their fingers, running his thumb over her knuckles. “I’m glad you’re here. You were a really great help today.”

And she was. Geun-tae recalls how Yun-ho, despite her many years as a lady-in-waiting, blended right in amongst their peers. With all the grace of a noblewoman, any questions directed at the two were evaded or redirected with wit. To the pleasant surprise of many who doubted the garish general’s tastes in women, Yun-ho was perfectly capable, yet sweet – ever armed with a nicety or compliment to quell any rigorous conversation should he have felt uncomfortable – a kindness he has never known he needed and appreciates immensely.

“It is a pleasure, Geun-tae-sama,” she responds in kind. Yun-ho gives a little quirk of her knees in a laughable parody of a curtsey, and Geun-tae smirks. They’ve discussed her incurable need for formalities, almost to the point of frustration on his part, but he eventually conceded and now allows these subtle gestures leftover from her training. It’s…cute.

He steps a little closer to her, shielding her from the cold winds that cut through their clothing. At this point, the fireworks have ceased and over the balcony, the citizens of Kouka have begun to migrate from the castle grounds, a few lingering in the celebratory atmosphere a while longer.

Yun-ho’s other hand covers their joined ones, and he looks up. At this proximity, Geun-tae is able to lose himself in her wide auburn eyes, familiar with the little dimples under them, and completely enraptured by the way they soften with an emotion he can only dare to hope she feels as he does. They flicker briefly to his lips, and abruptly his heartbeat quickens. He moves closer. As does she. A hair length’s apart, he breathes her name. Her eyes close-

“There you are!”

The two of them spring apart.

Geun-tae’s hand immediately flies to his forehead, his head flinging backwards towards the sky. “The fireworks are lovely aren’t they, Yun-ho?”

“Y-y-yes, Geun-tae-sama,” Yun-ho replies. “Ab-absolutely lovely.”

“The fireworks were over ten minutes ago, General Geun-tae!” Geun-tae regains some semblance of his sanity and looks down toward the intruder. The young prince Suwon, son of the late Yu-hon, stands unabashed, a rather wide grin on his face, with his hands behind his back.

Grinding his teeth, Geun-tae bites out, “What are you doing here, brat?”

Suwon laughs at Yun-ho’s scandalized gasp. Well, he is the young prince, formalities should be given- but to hell with that.

“Nothing much. Just scouring the area- oh! King Il has called for all the generals to gather. You might want to be present for that!”

Geun-tae sighs through his nose. He really hates these events, and what just happened has fortified his resentment ten times more. With a slight slump of his shoulders, he grunts an acknowledgement at the boy before gesturing for Yun-ho to return indoors. She squeaks- pfft- and quickly retreats towards the main hall.

Before Geun-tae steps over the threshold, he feels a tug of his sleeve. Suwon still wears that maddening grin.

“…Yes, Your Highness?”

“General Geun-tae, from what I have observed, it would seem that entertaining rumors is not your forte,” Suwon quips. “In the future, maybe it would be wise not to express physical affection to your partner, whom you have yet to issue a formal request for marriage to, in plain sight.”

Geun-tae coughs into his sleeve.

“…Yes, Your Highness.”

The smile Suwon returns is ridiculously bright and twenty times more infuriating. He turns and skips off back to the main hall. Geun-tae watches him go.

Seems like I’ll need to get to work.
