The Bridge (Season 4) (2018) – Storyline: The Bridge Season 1-2-3-4 (TV Series Bron/Broen 2011-2018-2018-2018): Bron/Broen Season Four Two years later, having spent more than a year in prison, Saga Norén is released following a retrial which found that there was reasonable doubt about her murdering her mother. Henrik Sabroe investigates the murder of the director general of the Immigration Service, Margarethe Thormond, who has been stoned to death. At first, Henrik is joined by Danish PC Jonas Mandrup, who is seemingly intolerant towards the victims and is cold towards Saga, noting her track record of Danish partners. With her apartment lost upon her arrest and assignment to help Henrik solve the murder case, Saga moves in with him. However, her untreated trauma regarding Hans’s death, Emil’s sudden suicide and Marie-Louise’s investigation against her culminates in a panic attack while driving across the bridge, leading her to start therapy. In the meantime, Henrik attends meetings for addicts. There, he is befriended by a man named Kevin, who became paralysed after jumping off a balcony in a drugged stupor and is a wheelchair user. Two more victims are discovered and Saga realizes that each victim is killed using one method of executing prisoners sentenced to death – suggesting a total of seven victims, leaving four to come. She also notes that the victims are selected not because of their actions but because of something their loved ones have done. ___________________ {EP1=EP10} | {EP1=EP8} | {EP1=EP8} Read the full article

Save Editing for Sibling Recognition in the Gay Awakening Hack
I’ve been replaying Fire Emblem Awakening recently with the Gay Awakening hack and I managed to figure out how to edit FE:A saves in order to make the game recognize children of gay pairings as siblings. I figured I’d share my method in case anyone else was interested!
This guide was written for citra but it can be used with a hacked 3DS as well as long as you are capable of transferring your save file from the 3DS to PC.
For this guide, I will be getting the game to recognize Lucina and female Morgan as siblings. Currently, Lucina’s father is Chrom and her mother is the male Avatar while Morgan’s father is the male Avatar and her mother is Chrom. In order for the game to recognize them as siblings they need to have the exact same father and mother. To achieve this, I am going to swap the mother and father on Morgan so she has the same parents as Lucina.
1. The first thing we need to do is figure out the index numbers of the child unit’s equipped skills so that we can locate them in the save file. Open Fire Emblem Awakening and navigate to the equipped skills of the child unit you want to edit. If you have another unit with the same skills in the same order, rearrange or change the skills so that the child unit you wish to edit has unique skills. In the save file, skills are stored as their index number separated by a single 00 and are in the same order as the unit’s equipped skills from top to bottom. You can find a list of skill index numbers here (ignore the 0x at the beginning).
For example, with the skills Veteran, Solidarity, Aether, Ignis, and no skill in the last slot, my Morgan’s skills are 0D 00 25 00 48 00 4C 00 00. Once you get the index numbers for your unit’s equipped skills, save the game and close it.
2. In citra, right click Fire Emblem Awakening and select “Open Save Data Location”. Copy and paste the folder containing the save files to somewhere easily accessible.
3. Use the Fire Emblem Awakening Save Tool to decompress the folder.
4. Open the decompressed folder and choose the chapter save you want to edit. “Chapter0″ is the first save slot, “Chapter1″ is the second slot, and “Chapter2″ is the third slot. Open the save file in HxD.
5. In HxD, click Search at the top and then click Find. Select the “Hex-values” tab at the top. In the “Search for:” box, type your child unit’s skill index numbers from step 1. Click “OK” and you will be brought to the location of the child unit’s skills in the save file.
6. From here, we will locate the parents inside the child unit’s block of data. There are two ways to proceed from here:
a). This is the easiest method but will sometimes give you the wrong location if the same index number appears before the location of the father/mother. From the location of the skills, use the search box from step 5 and search for the index number of the child unit’s father or mother (as indicated in game). You can find a list of character index numbers here. Make sure to put a “0″ before single-digit index numbers. After this, finding the other parent is easy. If you found the father’s index number, then the mother’s index number is 17 bytes after the father’s. If you found the mother’s index number, then the father’s index number is 17 bytes before the mother’s. If the other parent’s index number isn’t 17 bytes after/before the first parent you found, repeat the earlier search to find the next instance of the first parent’s index number until the other parent’s index number is 17 bytes after/before.
b). The other way of finding the parents is a bit more tedious as it requires counting bytes but it will bring you to the exact location. The father is located exactly 139 bytes after the child’s first skill. The mother is located exactly 17 bytes after the father. Make sure that the numbers at these locations match the father and mother’s (as indicated in game) index numbers as listed here.
7. Swap the father’s index number with the mother’s index number. Since I’m swapping the male Avatar (father) and Chrom (mother), I replace the male Avatar’s 00 with 03 and replace Chrom’s 03 with 00.
8. Save the file, close it, and compress the entire folder using the Awakening Save Tool. Paste the new compressed files into the citra save data location and overwrite the original files (make sure to back them up first!).
9. Open citra, start Fire Emblem Awakening and load the save file you edited.
10. Check the child unit you edited and their parents should now be in the same position as their sibling.

D6 Star Wars
After a long long hiatus from the Star Wars setting and WEG D6 in particular, I have returned. 2nd Edition was literally the first RPG book I read, before I understood what RPGs were at all. I borrowed it from the library, where it was filed with the video game guides. I also read video game guides for games I’d never played, so I think I just figured all the numbers in the book were more of the same.
One crippling D&D addiction later, I rediscovered D6 Star Wars. In a very round-about way, using the Firefly system for Star Wars, and coming across D6 resources. I tried a few more kitbashed systems, and I have finally decided to, you know, actually run the D6 system. Sort of. I’ve got thirty odd years of folks’ house rules, several editions, and successor games to collate. I’m borrowing from 1st edition, 2nd edition, 2nd edition revised, REUP, Mini Six...
In any event, here are my current D6 House Rules.
Consolidated Skill List
By REUP, the skill list is insane. I checked out the 1st edition list, and more or less reverted to it. I went with my standard high society/underworld/outdoors breakdown of Protocol/Streetwise/Survival, because it’s got excellent coverage. Trying something new to me with Bargain/Command/Con social split, on the basis that it’s more gameable than D&D’s scare/lie/persuade ...thing. Brawl and Melee are redundant, but the ‘big fighter’/’quick fighter’ split is really hard to fight against. Currently, you get no benefit from having both.
Dexterity
Blasters: covers all blaster pistols, carbines, and rifles, as well as more esoteric ranged weapons like slugthrowers, disruptors, bowcasters, etc.
Dodging: used to avoid blasterfire, and other such hazards.
Heavy Weapons: covers crewed weapons and anything that can be described as ‘man-portable but’.
Melee: covers all sorts of hand-to-hand combat, armed or otherwise.
Throwing: used to chuck grenades, ewoks, priceless idols, etc.
Knowledge
Astrogation: used to calculate hyperspace jumps, as well as basic knowledge of trade routes, planetary quirks, and the like.
Protocol: knowledge of bureaucracies, high society, rules-obsessed alien societies, etc.
Scholar: knowledge of education, learning, & research. Specializations indicate specific fields of study.
Streetwise: knowledge of the criminal underworld, the common folk, urban environments.
Survival: knowledge of how to survive in dangerous natural terrain, including dealing with local lifeforms.
Mechanical
Comms: use of communication equipment, including ciphering & code-breaking.
Gunnery: use of fixed weaponry (emplaced or vehicular).
Piloting: flying or driving starships, repulsorlift vehicles, walkers, etc.
Sensors: use of sensor equipment, and analysis of sensor data.
Shields: use of shields.
Perception
Bargain: use this whenever the social participants are trying to reach a deal (typically over credits). Also includes bribery.
Command: use this to coordinate a group of people, or to browbeat the weak-willed.
Con: use this to trick people to do something that isn’t in their best interest.
Gambling: use this to win in games of chance.
Hide: use this to hide items or people, or sneak up on someone.
Search: use this to find something specific.
Strength
Athletics: any sort of activity relying on general fitness, such as running, jumping, climbing, swimming, etc.
Brawling: use for hand-to-hand combat, especially unarmed or with improvised weapons.
Lifting: use to perform short feats of strength.
Stamina: use for protracted activity of any sort.
Technical
Demolitions: make things go boom. Includes how to maximize the effects of explosions, and how to improvise your own.
Medicine: make the hurting stop. Advanced procedures require additional knowledge.
Programming: working with software.
Repair: fixing what’s stopped working.
Security: working specifically with security technology, including, but not limited to, locks, alarms, and surveillance networks.
Character Points & Force Points
Spending a Character Point (CP) gives you +1D on a single roll, or allows you to declare a minor change (there’s a shift change in ten minutes, this guard is hooked on deathsticks, etc). Spending a CP converts it into XP. XP, not CP, is spent to increase your attributes & skills. This means that you have to spend your CP (and be awesome) in order to become better.
Spending a Force Point lets you add +5D on a single roll, or allows you to declare a major change (this guard is a Rebel sympathizer, the last prisoner almost finished an escape tunnel).
The Wild Die
The Wild Die, on a 1, will either just be counted as a 1 (with no additional effect), or generate a complication (severity depending on the total dice roll and success/failure of the attempted task). Players are encouraged to suggest complications. Complications do not have to trigger immediately; they can be saved by the GM (up to 6) and deployed when they’ll cause the most damage. [This last bit is mostly for my current game, which is heist-focused. At some point, things are going to go horribly wrong.]
Static Defenses (directly from Mini Six)
In order to reduce rolling, your character’s defenses are static.
Dodge = (Dodge dice value x 3) + pips in Dodge
Parry = (* dice value x 3) + pips in *
* use your higher total skill in Brawl or Melee.
Soak = (Strength dice value x 3) + pips in Strength + Armor value
You can, as your only action ‘Full Dodge’ or ‘Full Parry’, which adds +10 to the appropriate defense.
Spending a Character Point adds +3 to a static defense, spending a Force Point adds +15.
Minions, Henchmen, & Villains
Minions are defeated by any hit that beats their Dodge/Parry.
Henchmen are defeated by any hit that inflicts a Wound or worse.
Villains track damage like PCs.
The Force
Force is a sixth attribute, ranging from 0D to 6D for all creatures. ‘Force Sensitive’ just means you start with 1D in Force. More to be decided when/if it becomes relevant.
Dice-Based Resource Depletion (from Cascading Dice)
Limited resources are assigned a die value (from d4 to d20). When you use some of those resources, roll the associated die. On a 1, reduce the die value one step (i.e. from d8 to d6). If you roll a 1 on a d4, you’re down to one use of your resource left (one blaster bolt, 50 credits, etc).
Large expenditures may require multiple rolls at the same die value, but careful use (high rolls on attack, bargaining, etc) may allow things like ‘roll 3, pick 2’, rerolls, or the like.
Examples:
The operating expenses for a struggling restaurant is a d4, representing about 200 credits. One financial mistake (rolling a 1), and they’re down to 50 credits, and rent is due…
A heisting crew establishes a fund for their latest job. The fixer scraps together some liquid funds from her info broker job, about 6000 credits, giving the crew a d6 fund. They buy a speeder bike for the job, requiring multiple rolls on the d6 (since it costs ~2000 credits). They roll a 1, and their fund goes down to a d4.
A bunch of rebel scum raid an Imperial Weapons Depot, and come away with a speeder full of explosives. They gain a d10 of Explosives, which is good, because they’ve got a bunker to crack...

One addendum that I'm always saying should get more love!
Diogo's Dark Street's & Darker Secrets is a game of monster-hunting and paranormal investigation, built on the same set of mechanics used in Solar Blades & Cosmic Spells. Fusing together ideas from Whitehack, The Black Hack, 0D&D, and Fate and some of the best parts of the blogosphere, the game uses a really well-executed system of rolling-under one of the four stats for a check and requiring the GM to roll over a stat for a save, some well thought out archetypes for PC creation, and a a lot of monsters to start with. Itch and Drivethru.
Also check out War of the Magi, a supplement for warring magical factions.
THEME: Monster Hunters
This week's games are about monster-hunters, whether it be Victorian monster specialists, modern-day demon hunters, or teenage vampire slayers.
Sunset Kills, by Hedgemaze Press
Sunset Hills, Florida: A sleepy college town lucky enough to have its own indoor mall, zoo and minor league baseball team. Unfortunately, it’s also unlucky enough to be situated over the Shadowgate, a nexus of supernatural energies and a portal used by demons to enter our world. Thankfully, Sunset Hills is home to a small band of heroes willing to battle the monstrous forces that would take over the world.
Sunset Kills is a tabletop roleplaying game about a family or group of friends who investigate supernatural mysteries and fight the monsters trying to take over their town. It’s a little bit horror, a little bit drama, and a little bit campy comedy in the vein of shows like Charmed and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Sunset Kills uses a simplified version of the Apocalypse World system, perfect for new players or those new to Powered by the Apocalypse-style games. At only 8 pages, it's a quick read, and it provides examples of play so new players can get a bit of the rhythm of play figured out beforehand. Right now there are only 4 playbooks, but the game is currently in development so I expect there is more to come.
18XX Night, by Deep Light Games.
THE LONGEST NIGHT BEGAN: After doing a terrible job persecuting the dark creatures, the religious order counts its bad deeds. Decided to do good through other hands, it supports the last force remaining, this one with no political biases.
You are an elite force of monster hunters tracking down the remaining corrupt creatures in a part of the world where the sun is a rare appearance. These abominations are the best of each's own kind. Walking into the night, can you be the light?
18XX Night is a 24XX micro-game, using the standard 24XX rules. This means character creation is quick, GM prep is minimal, and it's easy to pick up another character if yours happens to die. This is Victorian-style monster hunting, in a world of gas lamps and misty nights. If you're looking for a way to bring up classic vampire-hunting stories, or if you want to send your players up against a pack of werewolves, this will give you a classic monster-hunting feel.
Yokai Hunters Society, by chema (Punkpadour).
"In the highest level a man has the look of knowing nothing," - Yamamoto Tsunetomo, Hagakure.
Yokai Hunters Society is a rules-light, pen & paper role-playing game in which you fight Japanese monsters, or yokai. The adventures you can play in Yokai Hunters Society range from facing the monster of the week, to complex investigations or political plots, to routine cleansing jobs. The writer of this game recommends taking this game from a horror tack, although it isn't strictly necessary.
This game is built using the Tunnel Goons framework, using dice rolls to determine your character's background, personality, and traits. You will exert control over the kind of Paths your character will likely take, and you'll be keeping track of things like equipment in order to give yourself an edge in certain situations. The PDF contains both a thorough explantation of the rules, as well as a concise description of Tokugawa-era Japan. The GM section is a mix of advice for running a game and random tables to help you generate missions, locations, NPCs and more. If you want an alternative twist to monster-hunting, Yokai Hunters Society might be the game for you.
Slayers, by Gila RPGs.
The City sits at the nexus of the world. Once you're inside it, it is the world. Something drives the borders of The City ever-onward, crawling towards the horizon. Urban sprawl made real. Neighborhoods appear and disappear overnight, The City is filled to brim with no shortage of interesting characters, cultures...and monsters. That's where you come in, Slayer.
Slayers is a tabletop RPG of mercenaries and monster hunters for hire. Known by locals as Slayers, players wander a haunted city, cursed long ago to expand towards the horizon forever. Slayers help clean out the monsters that infest the alleyways and shadows, and those that the city seems to be manifesting on its own.
It's slay or be slain. Better get to work, Slayer.
Slayers has 4 classes to choose from, and boasts a unique element of asymmetrical combat. Each player class is designed to work differently, which means the game that is being played will be different depending on the kind of character you choose. If you want more information about the setting, the creator has compiled a Slayers Almanac, which details different districts of the city, as well as released a supplement called Dust, which includes more locations, factions, and a new class, called the Deadeye. There's a lot of Slayers content out there for you to work with, which will alter the tone and feel of your game, so this is worth checking out!
Monster of the Week, by Evil Hat Productions.
Most people don’t believe in monsters, but you know the truth. They’re real, and it’s your task to bring them down.
If you want a more detailed Powered by the Apocalypse game about monster hunters, look no further than Monster of the Week, a game that takes inspiration from a number of different monster-hunting media and gives you the tools to create your own custom setting in which your characters go up against Chupacabras, werewolves, vampires, and perhaps even the Storyteller's own personal brand of horror!
As an established game, this book comes with a multitude of examples, detailed rules, and a wealth of advice for GMs in order to get them started. There's a reason why it's beloved by many fans of PbtA games.
Monster Guts, by Wheels Within Wheels Publishing.
Set in a post-capitalism world where monsters bio-engineered to extract resources have destroyed much of the world, you must hunt these creatures to sustain your village, one of the few settlements in the Pacific Northwest to have survived. You'll also harvest tags that you can slot into your weapons and garb to power up your scavenger.
Monster Guts uses the LUMEN system to provide a game of post-apocalyptic monster hunting, using three stats: CRUSH, SLICE, and PIERCE. It has some inventory-tracking, and a core mechanic that involves taking the best result from a roll using a number of d6's. The game is structured so that each hunt takes about 90 minutes - so you could have a short and sweet session, or fit two hunts into a longer session.
This game is beloved enough to have a number of supplements released on itch.io, which is great if you want to expand upon the base game. If you're looking for a monster-hunting game that doubles as a great introduction to LUMEN, you should check this out.
#iHunt: Killing Monsters in the Gig Economy, by Machine Age Productions
Be a hero. You pick the hours.
#iHunt is a story telling game about killing monsters in the gig economy. In it, you play millennials scraping by paycheck to paycheck to make ends meet. A gig app called #iHunt offers them more money than they've ever made to hit the streets and kill vampires, werewolves, demons, and anything else that goes bump in the night.
This game uses a modified version of the Fate Core rulebook - but you don't need the rulebook to play. Fate Core Rules can be found for free online, but the game itself should provide everything you need. What really sets iHunt apart is how it's published: the core game has everything you need to play, but Machine Age Productions also regularly releases zines that add new apps, new character options, story threads, and other goodies to the game. It's incredibly modular, which allows you to pick and choose what you want to be part of your game - and if you want everything, there are Season books in which a number of zines have been compiled for you!
