A new episode from the beloved series "Why I hate Paywalls." I stumbled over a fall collection which will be released piece by piece under early access. The early access tier is 3$, so the entire collection will make sweet, sweet 15$ of early access money. You'll get the first item in November and the last item in December. For us broke peasants the first item will go public in December and the last one in January. Jep, almost one month ea for each piece. If you have a hunch who I refer to please just block and ignore them.

It also states in like 99% of creators TOU to not put their shit behind a paywall… also some creators content is always free which is a double slap in the face!!

What Happened to Paywall CC Needs?

hii everyone! i've been getting a ton of messages asking what happened to my server, Paywall CC Needs. i'd just like to clear some stuff up since a lot of people think they were banned/kicked!! for starters: you weren't kicked or banned- don't worry! you and almost 10k members were removed due to Discord's Copyright Infringement policy.. basically the server was deleted due to Copyright. we have a feeling we know who did it since one of my mods got 2-3 copyright warnings for posting a specific creator. sadly, discord doesn't show who copyright claimed something and it doesn't give you any chance to get the server back once its deleted, so the server and.. all the cc is gone. so, where do we go from here? my mods and I are already brainstorming and working on another server. i will also be making a separate tumblr and possibly a website for the server so that if it is deleted yet again, we'll at least be able to communicate with you all better. I'm so sorry the server was deleted and there isn't a backup set up right away. truthfully, I didn't think the server would be deleted, and with what's going on irl, it wasn't on the top of my list of things to do.

please make sure to keep a look out on this tumblr, and on my instagram- cringetrait! I'll post updates there, and once the server is made I will update you all asap! ;-; thank you all for the support. I'm still so grateful that we got to almost 10k members. this server was my baby and my pride and joy, which I know sounds weird but.. i made it by myself with no help until later on, it truly was something special to me and you all made it special. so thank you so much. new server coming soon!

It's like a circle. Those creators will bitch and whine but continue to post and make money like nothing happened. People will defend them with the most ridiculous reasons (bakers and selling bread are a favorite) why they deserve money. And follow them wherever they go. Oh, and come after those who dare to voice concerns or say otherwise. It happened after the doxxing rings on Patreon were uncovered. When EA announced they'll finally enforce their TOU. When Patreon froze monetization for Russian creators. When community members asked creators to stop uploading their stuff to Curseforge. When community members voiced concerns about ModCo that charges users for basic website functions like a dating app. And now because TSR is 'firing' creators. The monetization of CC hurts all of us. Creators and CC users alike.

Oooh that one Sims 4 LADS cc creator is so fast. Sylus’ myth trailer just came out today and they already have his dragon-form outfit uploaded on their patreon page 😭 I’m lowkey suspecting they might work with infold or smth bcs the quality of their LADS cc is always accurate to how it is in the game 😭
