Motivations:

Starman

Mikaal and Will should have adventures! Jack lives his best retired life and cameos occasionally. Courtney and the Shade are supporting characters. Possibly a new Starman (who is a woman) because nine Starmen aren't enough.

Bart Allen (Impulse), Kon-El (Superboy), Greta Hayes (Secret), & Cassandra Cain (Batgirl)

Three kids who missed out on a childhood. Three lab escapees. Evil family member havers. They all have different relationships to killing also. Cass at one end and Greta at the other. Plenty of reasons to be close and reasons to be in conflict as well. Exploring the nature of predetermined paths based on your circumstances. Thawne, Luthor, Cain and being sacrificed.

context: I’ve been going without my binder for a while because of some skin issues, and also the fact that I usually work really long days but I started wearing it again more recently (and haven’t otherwise changed the way I dress at all). every time I wear it, I get comments about how “well dressed” and “professional” I look and I’m not really thrilled at the implication that just existing with even conservatively dressed boobs makes people look unprofessional :/ just kind of wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar

AN: Thank you to @funkyllama for the future Emmett fluff post suggestion and to everyone that voted for Jocelyn in the poll! Some of these characters have appeared in a few posts but I'll list who's who below the cut!

Dorian and Finnigan Carmichael - Twins, best friends of Emmett, 3rd cousins to Emmett and Payton. I believe they were on a random magazine cover last year. Their grandfather is the Duke of Lisby.

Adelyn Kincaid - She's the mean gymnast that was in the scene with Payton and Juliette. Her father is The Viscount Sterling and she has an older brother.

Jocelyn Chapman - New student to Em and Pay's school. Her family is from Wain and her father is the newly appointed Wain Ambassador to Trenton. Her future is....tbd ;)

Kostas "Niko" Nikolaou - He's a fellow gymnast, he was originally going to be introduced around the time of the posts I did with Payton and Juliette but the scene(s) got cut. He's also the grandson of The Marquess Tartos. He's second in line to the title after his father.

Paige Ross - One of Payton's best friends and gymnastics teammate.

also i am curious if their daughter together will be quietly retconned away because i maintain that was a dumb plot device!

Leading up to the 2024 presidential election, election denial groups and right-wing media figures have discussed their plans to challenge citizens’ right to vote, vowed to monitor drop boxes, claimed to be recruiting and training poll workers, launched apps to track supposed fraud on Election Day, and encouraged activists to monitor for noncitizen voting. In the 2022 midterm elections, right-wing media supported election denial groups recruiting poll workers and poll watchers and asking for volunteers to monitor ballot drop boxes. These efforts had seemingly grown out of conspiracy theories from former President Donald Trump and right-wing media that the 2020 election was rife with voter fraud and had been stolen, culminating in a violent attempt to overturn the election by storming the Capitol on January 6, 2021. As voting begins for the 2024 election, “election officials across the country are ramping up their security measures at polling places,” as reported by NBC News, including “beefing up law enforcement presence to donning bulletproof vests to deploying drones for surveillance amid an increasingly hostile environment.”

Election denialist groups and right-wing media pundits are discussing plans to interfere with election administration on election day and the lead-up to it.
