An ad from April 13, 1999. 'The Original-The show you'd never get to see' Blondie tours 'No Exit' in 1999 and makes a stop in Toronto. I was able to meet Debbie and Chris as they popped up to Toronto to do a few radio interviews a few months prior to the show. Those were the days when artists drove from city to city, unlike nowadays, where all you have to do is turn on your computer/phone... I knew a DJ and he told me he was interviewing Debbie and @christein At the time, the radio station was being renovated and the studio was a trailer on the north side of the Eaton Centre. I brang a friend along and we got to have a private audience with the DJ and D&C. I told Debbie I really liked 'The Dream's Lost on Me' and she tapped Chris on the shoulder and shared my thought. They were very gracious and signed a few No Exit CD sleeves, which I passed on to other fans. I kept one for myself 😉 #debbieharry #blondie #noexit #1999 #1990s #toronto #torontoconcerts #new wave #Maria #comeback #reunited #bandsreunited #chrisstein #jamesdestri #clemburke #paulcarbonara #leighfoxx (at Toronto, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CS8aPzlgFJM/?utm_medium=tumblr

There is a plaque at 23rd Street commemmorating an industrial fire that resulted in a change in workplace regulations. The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory was located just off the corner where Broadway crosses Fifth Avenue…
