I've always been curious about running an ask/roleplay blog of one of my Jojo's Bizarre Adventure OCs 🤔 It probably wouldn't gain any traction tho, outside of (possibly) other OC blogs (if I had to guess). Does anybody think it'd be worth a try? I was thinking my part 5 OC Anguria Eccitato but I don't see a lot of Melone writers haha. But overall I'm open to any jojo OC of mine. Any suggestions anybody?
A brief (as brief as I can make it) summary of the OCs and their relationship between their love interest:
(Battle Tendency) Patricia Abbandonato - a bitter and jaded woman that judges people prematurely based on first impressions because of the hardships she's faced in life. Works at a busy cafe to support herself and formerly her father before he passed. Suzie-Q helped her through said situation and the two are good friends. Meets Caesar one day at the cafe and is immediately disgusted with his behavior around the woman he brought along, assuming he has it easy. Treats him coldly and bitterly until she's fired from the cafe and hired at Air Supplena island (upon Suzie-Q's request), where the two get to know about each other.
(Stardust Crusaders) Jessica Desjardins - The adoptive daughter of Joseph after he discovered her homeless on the streets via a tip from the Speedwagon Foundation. She was abandoned at an orphanage sometime after birth by her father, unable to afford raising her. Her extroverted nature naturally drew people to her but the bonds were always superficial. She had an insatiable desire to learn and has a high IQ. At 9 she manifested her stand. At 13 people noticed she was talking to herself and picked on her. At 16 she fled from the orphanage and to the streets. She was homeless for three years and if people tried to attack her, her stand attacked. Speedwagon Foundation caught wind of the talk people made on the streets. Joseph scoped it out and seeing her state, he adopted her. At 24 she was called (unwillingly) in by Joseph to help the Crusaders while Avdol healed, taking on his role temporarily. She and Polnareff easily bonded, the two of them a mischievous pair who joked and pulled pranks on the others. They also just naturally clicked.
(Vento Aureo/Golden Wind) Alessandra Allanorma - Everybody can only do something for so long before they can't take it anymore. A former coworker of Abbacchio who's still in love with him. She was abandoned on a park bench during a thunderstorm by her scared mother who did not know she was pregnant. She's discovered by a woman hurrying home but Alessandra is taken to the hospital where she'd later be adopted by the woman who found her. While she wanted to help the people as a psychologist, she was only able to get part of her education. She joined the place as an alternative to helping the people. Former naivety and vigilance drove her to protect the people despite what was going on behind the scenes. She was friends with Abbacchio's partners and in love with Abbacchio, who unfortunately only saw her like a sister he had to protect. After he was kicked from the force, she put forth the effort to climb the ranks until a year later she was Captain. By then, she had seen more of the world, turned cynical, but still retained some of her former personality. After learning the man who killed Abbacchio's partner lived, she sought him out, killed him, and earned a scar and blindness in one eye. 8 months later (before Giorno's arrival) a chance encounter with Abbacchio pushes her already teetering (from her job) self over the edge. Despite his distant attitude, it gave her a reason to finally quit. After taking the test, she would go on to stubbornly pursue Abbacchio and prove to him she was a woman, not the weak little sister he knew.
(Vento Aureo/Golden Wind) Anguria Eccitato - An intelligent neurochemist with a near insatiable sex drive (inherited from her father). Got through college with a doctorate because of an inheritance her father inherited. She was bullied/isolated in school by most of the kids around her as the 'ugly girl's (think hive mentality). By middle school, she was bending over backwards for people just to make any sort of friends despite the lack of common interests. A facade in the end. By highschool, she started using makeup and suddenly all the eyes were on here. While she didn't want to change herself, her wardrobe, and personality if it made others accept her it was worth it. During a science class, she learned of neurochemistry and it caught her interest. In college she studied it and gained a doctorate. She'd go on to be hired at a neuroscience research institute. After a particularly bad day at work (both her and Melone) she meets Melone at a bar where they get drunk off their asses and have a one night stand. She leaves him with her number if he wants a 'round 2', as she is unable to forget the most passionate night she's ever experienced. A friend with benefits slowly turns into a romantic relationship.
(Vento Aureo/Golden Wind) Liliana Ribollita - Born as the result of a butler raping a maid and getting pregnant (both work for the Fugo family). The maid is forced to marry the butler so she doesn't lose her job. After her birth, she was raised in an environment filled with anger, conflict, fights, and abuse that she and her mother were the victims of. During the day, things were peaceful. But at night after work, things were almost never good, a result of her father's temper. The accumulation of all this caused the formation of anxiety related to anger, violence, conflict (verbal and physical), shouting/yelling. She has an aversion towards this as well. The abuse would go on to meld part of her personality as one who is meek, cowardly, complaisant, insecure, and anxiety-ridden. Despite all this, however, her mother still instilled in her the importance of being kind, loving, compassionate, optimistic, and to always persevere. She met Fugo when they were both 5 and became quick friends with Liliana being a bright spot in his life. At 6 his temper showed and she shrunk back. But an apology and promise to never hurt her if he could help it easily mended the relationship. She would start school later where they spent less time with each other. At 13, Fugo left for college and her mother died a year later. She was taken in by her aunt and would get a job at Libeccio to help support her younger brothers and help pay for her education. At 16, she has a brief reunion with Fugo that is cut short (he has her fired and she gets a job at a new restaurant, wanting to keep her safe). She doesn't see him again until post-Purple Haze Feedback via Giorno's assistance. While a relationship between a girl who has anxiety stemming from anger and conflict and a mafia member with a strong temper don't seem to match, it's their strong friendship from childhood and affection for each other that keeps them together.
Trivia/Fun facts:
- Fugo, when getting angry/is angry, will send Liliana a small glare as a silent warning to leave or not say anything. It helps ease some of her anxiety because she can prepare for it.
- Patricia is often seen as off-putting to others do to her curt and distant attitude. She also suffers from night terrors sometimes, typically of the first few years of her life where her mother physically and verbally abused her and her father.
- Jessica daydreams a lot. People tend to mistake her for a space case because of this despite her high IQ.
- Alessandra fears abandonment and thunder. This can sometimes paint her as clingy if she's particularly close to somebody she cares for intensely. Jessica also fears abandonment.
- Anguria comes off as confident and charismatic but really she's very insecure with her body. All the years of pretending has affected her personality as well. Instead of just being a facade, some (keyword: some) of her confidence and charisma has slowly become a part of herself. She's an ambivert.
- Alessandra, before Abbacchio being kicked off the force, wasn't very muscular and wasn't as engaged in police reports (to investigate). This made others see her as weak and defenseless. During Abbacchio's absence, she exercised and currently her body has an athletic build.
- Liliana from the beginning was meant to look like the girl next door (brown hair, brown eyes). To contrast the current standard of strong women who have a witty personality and don't need to be saved, I made her the opposite; What women in some old fiction were like. Her personality was based off of a concept I had for a 'x reader' - what if Fugo had an s/o with anxiety that's specifically focused on things like anger, conflict, yelling, etc. I expanded on this concept and Liliana came to being. I knew that under normal circumstances these two would never meet, hence why I made them childhood friends.

Emergence of a Queen (2.4k words), Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli x OC (Patricia Abbandonato)
Summary: After saving an injured Esidisi, Kars uses a technique on Patricia that manifests in form what's deep down in her heart and conscious; the dark side of herself that dwells within.
A/N: The concept of a shadow self specifically shown in this fic is directly inspired by the shadow selves seen in the video game Persona 4
The room was only dimly lit. Kars sat cross-legged in the faint light from the candles in silence, deep in his thoughts. Those thoughts didn't last long however, as he sensed another presence approaching and stopping at the room he was in.
“What is it Whamuu?” The pillar man asked calmly.
Emerging from the shadows and into the dim light, Whammu went down on one knee with his head hung..
“It's Lord Esidisi, Lord Kars. I can not seem to find him.”
“What Esidisi does is none of my concern, as long as he isn't causing trouble or potentially ruining our plan.”
“...Yes my Lord. We're near Venice though. Is that not where Jojo and Caesar are training? Lord Esidisi told us both before that he tracked the two down to a specific location in Venice. I was not told where this location was, but I assume he must have told you, Lord Kars.”
    This caught Kars's attention.
“Just what are you insinuating Whamuu?”
“Well, he had said to us before the Red Stone of Aja was where those are training. Do you think he would have...?”
Kars frowned. “If he has gone where you're implying, then I must pick the fool up. We are superior beings, yes, but we all agreed that we'd wait until the right time to strike.”
Standing up, he began to walk past Whamuu before pausing.
“You needn't come with, stay here.”
    “Yes my Lord.”
~*~
The sun had set long ago. It was precisely 9:00 but despite that, Patricia still couldn't sleep. She lay in bed and stared at the top of the bottom bunk in boredom. It was nights like these that she hated. The ones where no matter how hard she tried she couldn't get to sleep.
She heard from the open window the sound of grunts and shouts from a small distance away. Curious, she sat up and got out of bed quietly to see what all the noise was. When she peered down the grunting and shouting had stopped. Caesar, Joseph, and an unknown individual were standing in the training arena. Compared to it's spiked brother, this arena was smooth concrete all around. The blond and brunet stood across from this mystery individual and Patricia could only conclude it must be some intruder.
The two men seemed relatively in good shape but the one across seemed like he was cornered. As dangerous as it would be, the raven-haired woman exited her room to see the scene. She started to jog to where the arena would be, only wearing a t-shirt and sweats cut into shorts. While she was concerned for Joseph as well, she was embarrassed to admit that she was more worried even over Caesar. She couldn't see from the window what their state of being was. For all she knew, they might be the ones who were more injured.
~*~
“Ha, you two have really improved. I'm almost impressed. You did, however, manage to land a few bad blows on me so I can give you that.”
Esidisi had to buy time. With both Caesar and Jojo to fight, he was at the disadvantage. He currently was figuratively cornered. As long as he continued to talk he could find a way out with his eyes.
Joseph scoffed. “Oh please Esidisi, just give it up! Just admit that we've got you cornered and your ass is about to die.”
“If Whamuu didn't alert me to your missing state, I'm sure you'd be dead right now.”
The pillar man's eyes widened and he looked over his shoulder to see his friend Kars. Thank god he was here. He might actually have a chance of beating these too buffoons! The male wearing the headwrap was standing on a broken pillar nearby Esidisi with a cool expression. Despite the calm look on his face, the white haired pillar man knew that Kar's wasn't pleased with his actions.
    “Come, Esidisi.” He only said.
Without hesitation, Esidisi made a quick leap and landed on a pillar a few feet away from Kars. The two human's eyes were widened, shocked that now two of them were on the island. They must both know that they had no chance if Kars was here as well.
“You're lucky. We're sparing you for now.”
Kars's ears picked up on the sound of feet running on the ground. He shifted his attention the building nearby the arena and spotted a woman, somewhat out of breath.
“C-Caesar, Joseph! Are you alright?!” She shouted.
“Get out of here Trisha!” Joseph shouted, expression panicked now.
Oh? So this was somebody important to Jojo? Kars lips tugged up into a small smirk.
“I think I'll leave you both with a little present. Feel honored, I haven't used this for thousands of years.”
The pillar man raised his hand and pointed directly at the raven-haired woman who had caught her breath. He watched the two men scramble to reach her, but they were too late. In an instant he sent out an invisible shot, piercing her through the chest.
“As much as I love to use this technique and watch what happens to the person I use it on, I don't have time to sit and watch as it unfolds.”
He watched the two humans reach the girl, distracted now.
    “Come, Esidisi.”
~*~
    “PATRICIA!!” Caesar yelled.
The blond and Joseph had barely reached Patricia when she was shot with something invisible. Her body curled slightly from the impact of the hit, as if shot by a bullet. But the two spotted something odd. The woman didn't fall. Instead, from behind her a being cloaked in darkness was ejected from her body and crumbled to the ground.
Caesar was too focused on Patricia to notice what happened next. Joseph watched the being behind the maid stand up. It looked at first just to be some blob of darkness. But over the span of a few seconds, the darkness lightened until it was just a swirling aura around a figure identical to Patricia.
Joseph gaped. “What the - ?! Two Trishas?”
This caught the blond's attention, who now shifted his attention to the being behind the woman he loved. His friend was right; There were two of her. When he looked closer, however, he noticed differences. The most prominent being her eyes. Rather than being those beautiful light green, they were an eerie yellow. Instead of wearing nothing on her face, it was covered in a fine layer of makeup that accentuated her features. No shirt or sweats was to be seen, only a dress you'd see on a medieval queen. To match that was a crown on her head and a scepter in her hand.
“Don't speak of me so commonly you worm.”
Patricia jumped at the sound of her own voice. She turned around to look and like the men near her, she was shocked. Was that supposed to be her? Even she wouldn't dress like that though.
“W-Who are you? You look and sound like me, yet...”
The being pointed her scepter at Patricia. “I AM you. Everything you feel deep inside is me, I am your shadow.”
    “Shadow...?”
“You know, sometimes I wonder why I'm even still here. Suzie-Q bothered to get me this job so I didn't quit at first. But lo and behold, she never told me that INSECTS resided here as well.”
    She stared in confusion; Insects?
The shadow smiled devilishly. “But then again, everybody around us is a little insect, no? Those people who I consider exceptions and maybe even my friends? Ha! There's no such thing as exceptions, I'm just being nice and granting them my time and attention.”
“What? No! They are my friends!” She protested.
“How long will you tell yourself that though? Admit it, an insect is an insect regardless of how they are as a person. Because nobody else can understand the pain you and I have had to endure in life. Unless they do, then I suppose they're a rank above – animals. Unlike insects, at least animals have brains and know what pain is.”
“Nobody is an insect! Every single person is human, no matter their experience in life! Just because I've suffered more than some other people doesn't mean that I'm above them...these two taught me that...”
“These two...” The shadow turned its head to look directly at Caesar.
“It was quite frustrating and annoying after I learned he was here, you know. Just when I thought that I was finally free of Casanova here, he's back.
She curled her lip at the blond in disgust. “A cockroach. No matter how many times I crush him beneath my heel and rub him into the concrete he never dies.”
Patricia paled and quickly whipped her head to look at Caesar. “N-No, d-don't listen to her Caesar, she's lying....”
    “P-Please, don't...” She begged.
She didn't want the male to hear and see this ugliness inside her. She didn't want him to see what she truly had thought of him as before, as well as now. She treasured the male far too much and she didn't want to lose the one stability in her life currently.
“But you know,” The shadow trailed off, her lips curling up into a simultaneously impish and arrogant smirk, ”It REALLY revs me up knowing that this little skirt chasing cockroach can't get enough of me. I see all the women around flock to him and he doesn't bat an eye to flirt and woo them without any feelings. But man do I love how desperately he chases and crawls after me. So desperate for any scrap of my attention when normally it's the other way around. It's pretty ironic.”
“No...!” Patricia gripped her head, shaking it back and forth as the shadow continued to speak.
“He must have had it easy in life to be able to sit around and woo the ladies without concern. Its always pissed me off. So easy going while day after day I have had to work just to stay afloat and take care of my father when he was still alive. It must be nice not having to worry about keeping a roof over your head or if you have enough to buy food.”
    “Patricia...”
She shook her head more frantically. “Nononono, stop! Stop it, I'd never think this! You couldn't possibly be me!”
The shadow broke into a psychotic laugh, throwing its head back. “Yeesss...say it more! You're right, I'm far above the others. How could I possibly be you?”
The dark, swirling aura around Patricia's shadow began to grow darker and slowly envelop it. It's form being to shift and change and it was then that she fainted.
~*~
    “Nngh...” Patricia's head hurt.
She felt something thin but cushy under her head and when she turned her head slightly, she noticed it was Caesar's jacket, folded up. She sat up and cradled her head in one hand, taking in the scenery. A battle looked like it just took place. Joseph and Caesar were breathing raggedly, trying to catch their breath as the worn out shadow silently glared at them.
    “You have to accept it.”
She looked over and spotted Lisa Lisa walking up, arms crossed.
“I don't know how this happened and I certainly never expected to see this technique ever executed. I've only read about it in a book, but this technique is known as the Shadow Technique. It separates a person and their shadow from each other. It's been used as a way to kill others as well as a way to heal.”
“Every person has things buried deep, deep inside of them that they don't want to admit to. With malicious intent, people used it to kill because a person would often deny the existence and truth of their own shadow. When they did, it enraged it and made it attack the people around them. But it's also been used with pure intentions to help a person overcome the feelings inside of them and accept it. Accepting your shadow is the only way to make it disappear.”
Patricia looked at her boss desperately, as if silently begging for another way. But when she saw Lisa Lisa's gaze not waver, she knew what she had to do. She turned her head and looked at the beaten up shadow.
She stood and walked up to it, stopping once in front of it.
“...You're right. For so long I thought that anybody who didn't go through some hardship in life had it easy. I was being too narrow-minded and I judged people too quickly, treating them like insects unless I selfishly deemed them worthy of some respect or politeness. I'm not some queen who decides how people should be treated though. Everybody deserves respect.”
She then looked over to Caesar, expression somber and sorrow in her eyes.
“And in the beginning, yeah, I did think Caesar was annoying. I saw the girls flock to him all the time and I was so disgusted with how they bowed at his feet with just a few words. I would think to myself that a guy as easygoing as him must have it easy and immediately passed selfish judgment onto him. I treated him like dirt because I had it bad and I assumed he had it good. I didn't think he was worth my respect.”
“I hated that he kept bothering me, but at the same time there was almost a thrill from it...that the man whom all the girls fell for and fawned over was always trying to desperately get my attention and respect. But I was wrong. He's had it just as bad and it was wrong to judge him...but that only served as a common ground for the present.” Small tears formed in the corners of her eyes.
“I'm sorry Caesar,” She whispered, “Please forgive me.”
She turned her attention back to her shadow and hugged it.
“And please forgive me for ignoring you.”
Within an instant, Patricia felt like a weight had been taken off her shoulders. From behind she felt two well-built arms wrap around her waist and pull her to a muscular chest.
“It's alright Trisha.” Caesar murmured, giving her a little squeeze.
    “I don't deserve your forgiveness...”
“Yes, you do. Everybody bottles something up inside of them, away from others. I'm glad I was able to understand how you truly felt deep inside.”
She laughed quietly. “I truly don't deserve somebody as great as you Caesar.”

The Observations of An Italian Man (2k words), Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli x OC (Patricia Abbandonato)
Summary: Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli met Patricia Abbandonato in a small cafe he frequented. Her sourpuss attitude towards him was intriguing, but as he learned more about her he felt the desire to protect.
A/N: I wrote this fic as a way to get into Caesar's head and his point of view with Patricia. It's to help readers understand how their relationship really is instead of seeing things just from Patricia's point of view.
When Caesar Zeppeli first met Patricia Abbandonato, the first thing he noticed was that she was polite, yet curt. That she had a natural womanly beauty to her. Almost untapped, if not for the slight amount of mascara emphasizing her lashes and the bright red lipstick that made others look twice at her slightly plump lips. But to him, all women are beautiful. Whether they were thin with no curves to speak of or were thin and had all the right curves in all the right places. If they had some more on their body, it mattered not to the Italian male. All women were goddesses that should be treated as such.
“Hello. I'll be your waitress for today. My name is Patricia. You only need to call my name and I will come to take care of your needs. What would you two like to drink?” Her voice almost had no emotion. But he could still hear her efforts to sound polite.
“I'll have a water.” Caesar told Patricia.
He looked over to the girl sitting across from him who was blushing in clear infatuation.
“The lady will have a water too.”
“Got it. I'll be back with your drinks in a moment.”
“Now, now my dear...you needn't be so shy.” He said with a smile towards the girl.
He reached over to the necklace around her neck and toyed with it a little.
“You need only to wear this at night and we'll see each other in your dreams...then no longer will you be so shy to see me...”
He gently dropped the necklace around her neck and looked into her eyes with a warm smile. He reached over again, only this tip to grip her chin. Patricia had hesitated leaving in curiosity, lingering to see what Caesar would do.
“You don't have to be afraid my little flower...” He whispered.
Without hesitation, he leaned over the table and captured her lips in a passionate kiss. The girl didn't resist, instead closing her eyes and her blush growing dark.
Though he was kissing the girl, he heard the waitress click her tongue quietly. She turned around to start working on their order but he heard something interesting.
“Disgusting,” she muttered quietly as she walked away,”Does that guy have no shame? How can that casanova spit all that out with a straight face?”
Although Patricia had been speaking very quietly, the blond still heard her. It didn't bother him, as he's had people ask him how he can spew such lines with a straight face and had angry boyfriends corner him because he flirted with a girl he didn't know had a boyfriend. To him, she was another among many.
The only thing that made her stick out were her light green eyes. Not for how pretty they were, but for what was hidden in them. At first glance they didn't show anything special. Just that of a quiet and polite individual. It wasn't until the second time they met that he truly saw what was hidden inside those depths.
The second time Caesar saw her was when Suzie-Q was sent to the same cafe he went to before to pick up some of their pre-packaged coffee grounds. He decided to accompany her for fun, as Lisa-Lisa had granted him a rare break from training. Patricia was sitting on a chair behind the counter, talking to the person at the register until Suzie-Q walked up.
“Oh, Trisha, it's you! Are you on your break?” She asked with a beaming smile.
He saw her first smile since meeting her. It was small and soft as she lazily waved to the blonde girl standing in front of him.
“Hey Q. Yeah, I'm on my break. What's up?”
He immediately noticed the slight change in her demeanor and the way she spoke. It was more casual and friendly compared to his first meeting with her. He shifted so he stood next to the maid and noticed another change. Her face went from friendly to sour. But with his position, he got a better look at her eyes. What he saw was a bit close to home.
Empty. Cold. Resenting. But also disgust. The emotions he saw reminded him of his own delinquent self when he was just 13 up to 16. Unlike himself though, she held no out of control temper. She was calm and collected. Her way of carelessly hurting others was through her words and the way she spoke to others. Always an arms length away and seemingly impenetrable. He wondered how the woman behind the counter and Suzie-Q had managed to pierce that barrier. Instead of curt, polite, and empty eyes, it was replaced with casual words and way of speaking as well with a slight glow in her eyes and her expression.
Just seeing some of his old self in Patricia made Caesar want to know more. But also made him want to protect her from the things that could hurt her. She didn't seem weak like Suzie-Q was but she was by no means physically strong enough to last if she was jumped by multiple people.
This was no love. It was a desire to protect, to help a person who seemed to be where he was all those years ago with no emotional support. But it was clear at the time that she didn't like him. If he had to guess, it would be his words and actions from their first meeting. As well as the words she spoke so quietly to herself.
And just like their second meeting, she was continually in a sour mood around him and rude when he'd come by for a cup or to accompany the island's maid to get coffee grounds. Always curt towards him, yet polite as well so she could keep her job. It never bothered him, and knowing that she was the blonde's friend brought upon a little teasing and flirting. His words were always brushed off, but he didn't mind. She was just a closed-off individual.
About a few weeks before Patricia's arrival as the new and second maid on Air Supplena, the female blonde on the island disclosed to Caesar a small bit of information.
“I feel bad just telling you this, but I also feel so bad that she treats you like this and you don't even know why...”
“You don't have to feel bad Suzie-Q, I'm sure she'll understand.” He assured gently.
“Well, Trisha told me once that she hates people who have had it easy in life. She dislikes people who aren't working hard and are being lazy. She also said entitled people and the rich.”
“Um...when you weren't with me one time to get the coffee grounds, she told me that she doesn't like you. I'm sure you know that already, though. She hates that easy going attitude of yours and how you can keep flirting with girls so shamelessly. She told me 'He must have it easy if he can come by this cafe so often and sit with a new girl every time he decides to come with one.'.”
Suzie-Q looked guilty but Caesar gently stroked the hair on top of her head.
“Don't feel bad tesoro. You just want to help.”
“I think she says all of this because she's judging a book by its cover...I don't see her talking with people much. It's like every time she's formed her first impression of somebody that's what decides how she'll treat them.”
If that was the case, it definitely helped him learn a bit more about her. Even if it was a vague clue, it gave him more insight.
When Patricia did arrive on the island those weeks later, he was treated the same as always. Taking Suzie-Q's speculation in mind, he watched the raven-haired woman's behavior and the words she chose when she talked to him. It was nothing different from the typical. But with his new knowledge and this speculation, he was able to understand her behavior just a bit more. A person could judge another by just the first impression they got of them. It was a trait some people held. But not every individual would hold a distaste for people who had it easy, were lazy, or were rich. People like that did certainly get some resentment from others.
But it wasn't often that they'd see a hate so strong. Caesar knew already – a person like this wasn't reacting normally. No, only those who have suffered deeply and had to work hard during their life would treat individuals opposite of them like dirt. While they suffered, some other people had an easy life. Her resentment towards those individuals was strong.
And he knew. If he was ever going to be even remotely treated with respect by Patricia, he'd have to prove to her that his life wasn't as easy as she thought. He'd have to tell her what he went through. As much as he didn't like telling others about his rough experiences in life, he also wanted to help this woman.
A week after she arrived, he had finally decided to tell her. While they were both the same age, it was almost like looking at a small child when he looked at her sometimes. He fist gently knocked on the door to her room, the entire building nearly dark.
    “...Come in.”
She'd never know who was behind the door, usually, unless they decided to speak. But he didn't and let himself in. Upon seeing him, she instantly frowned.
“What do you want?” She asked, light exasperation in her voice.
He sat on her bed while she sat laid-back against the window seat, staring out the window at the stars.
“If you'd humor me, I'd like to tell you a story.”
“A story? I figured that by now you'd be asleep in your room, not coming over to me to tell a story.”
Caesar smiled in amusement at her choice of words. “'Coming over to tell me a story.'?”
He repeated her words with his smile still on his face. She turned her head to look at him.
“What are you implying Signorina? It's almost as if you're saying you don't mind if I tell it.” He teased.
She sighed and waved her hand dismissively. “Just tell your story.”
And so he did. And at the end, his face was serious and her's shocked. It was then that he saw something in her eyes. It looked like a slight change, as if something inside her had changed. She was quiet, however, probably processing everything he told her.
After a minute or two of silence, she finally spoke up.
“...I'm in a good mood. How about I tell a story?”
When she did, Caesar could feel his heart breaking. As he assumed, a struggle was the core of her resentments. Her mother resented her existence only a couple years after her birth and beat her. Talked her down. Accused her of things that weren't her fault. Her father took her away from his wife and threw them into the poor class, all for his daughter. He worked hard so they could stay afloat. And she took up that torch when he fell ill, working day in and day out to keep them not only afloat but to pay for the medicine that kept him alive. Only two years ago he died. All she had left of her family was gone. As far as she was concerned, her mother didn't exist.
And Suzie-Q? She approached Patricia the day after her father's death. The kind maid had noticed the struggle inside her that she was fighting to keep inside. In the end though, the blonde became the pillar that got her through her father's death. Despite her easy life, the green-eyed woman didn't hate Suzie-Q. Because it took her a while to work through her father's death, she got to know the cheerful girl and became her friend.
Caesar stood up silently from the bed and walked over to the window seat where she sat. Without a word he pulled the raven-haired woman into his arms. She stiffened at first, but then relaxed. Knowing now, she knew she had no reason to really hate him. He struggled just as much as she.
    “I'm sorry...Caesar.” She said quietly.
“It's alright piccolo. Starting now, i'll protect you.” He whispered.

JJBA OC (Part 2) - Patricia Abbandonato
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Patricia "Trisha" Abbandonato
Overview
Age: 20
Occupation: Waitress (formerly), Maid (currently)
Birthdate: January 9th, 1918 (Capricorn)
Height: 5ft 6in
Weight: 136lbs
Birthplace: Italy
Nationality: Italian
Hair: Black
Eyes: Light green
Interests: Reading, cooking, star-gazing, journaling, astronomy, astrology
Dislikes: Lazy and entitled individuals, the rich, her mother, pranks, bullies
Love interest: Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli
Personality: Patricia, from afar, could be described as a kind yet distant woman. She keeps almost all individuals at an arm's length from her if they aren't people she trusts or knows she can trust. She isn't mean-spirited to anybody she talks to unless they're the kind of people she can't stand. Her judgemental attitude of others is seen as narrow minded and arrogant because she's judging people by first impressions rather than as a whole. This is because she's unconsciously/unintentionally imposing her ideal view of how a person should be (hard working, serious about life and goals, etc) based on her own struggles and troubles in life. Otherwise she is normally polite to the others around her. This politeness can sometimes be off-putting to others, as it makes her seem unapproachable. It isn't impossible to earn her trust and friendship however. She just isn't one to open as easily as some others.
Behind her outward appearance, she's a woman with wit, humor, and intelligence. Once she's close with a person, she's more outspoken than quiet with them. She's also much more approachable and friendly. Despite these seemingly positive traits she is a cynical person. She doesn't believe in far-fetched fairy tale ideas and tries to stick to the reality of things. This can sometimes make her come off as a bit of a negative Nancy.
She's also known to be a bit of a tomboy, preferring to dress more in shirts and pants rather than dresses unless the situation calls for it. A lot of this stems from how she was solely raised by her father from the age of 6. If cornered, she has no problem getting into a fist fight.
When it comes to matters of love, she's insecure and clueless. She's had no real experience with men aside from caring for her father and taking orders from men in the cafe she worked. It's hard for her to fall in love, as her cynical views and relationship with her mother have influenced how she sees herself and the world. When she is in love, she's defenseless. She's insecure and for a relationship to work, the man would have to be completely serious and devoted to her solely. Side women would lead her to believe she isn't good enough.
CW: MENTIONS OF DEATH
Background: Patricia was born from the union between a happy couple who married three years prior. Upon her conception, the couple were thrilled. The first two years of her life were good and she was treated well. However, life was hell after she turned three. The woman who carried and birthed her began to abuse her. Patricia was blamed for taking all of the attention from her father, leaving her mother lonely. She was also accused of ruining their relationship and marriage, as the relationship began to degrade a year after she was born. She was treated like a mistake, abused verbally and sometimes physically. By the age of six, her father and her secretly moved away to another town.
Things went from middle-class to poor. Her father worked hard to raise her until he fell ill when she was 13. Knowing that her father couldn't work to support them, she took on jobs to earn for the household and provide her father with medicine. She would work long hours, resulting in sometimes being jumped at night. She learned to use her fists over time to fend them off. Her jobs were on and off for three years until 16 when she got a job at a local, yet popular cafe. From there she began to earn more and was able to provide better. Unfortunately, her father died shortly after she turned 18.
At her cafe job she met Suzi-Q, who would buy bags of coffee beans or some tea from the cafe. While suffering from the grief of her father's death, she was there for Patricia. This led to an unlikely friendship. One day, she met a handsome male after being set as his waitress. She expressed no interest in him, despite how he flirted. Despite her clear disinterest in the male, he continued to tease her solely because she was Suzi-Q's friend. At the time she was only 19. He'd appear on and off, sometimes showing up with Suzi-Q to pick up coffee or tea, sometimes a customer. Patricia learned from the maid that his name was Caesar.
The relationship between the two wasn't anything special beyond acquaintances, yet the male seemed to express some interest in her. A few months after 20, however, she got fired from the cafe. In a panic, she desperately looked for a job before Suzi-Q hooked her up with a job as a maid where she worked.
It was there that a relationship began to form and grow between Caesar and Patricia, as the two got to know each other.
Relationships:
Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli: Her boyfriend. The two have a mutual, Suzi-Q. She first met him in the cafe she previously worked out, but a misunderstanding resulted in a lack of respect towards him. Upon being hired as a maid and learning more about Caesar and his past, a newfound respect and admiration formed as well as a feeling of kindredship.
Joseph Joestar: Little to no respect for him. She doesn't like how goofy he is when she thinks he should be more serious about the things going on around him. She doesn't treat him like dirt however, just casually.
Suzi-Q: A good friend of hers. While she suffered through the death of her father, she was there to support and comfort Patricia. While her perky personality is the complete opposite of Trisha's, she can't help but love the sweet girl.
Unnamed co-worker: A fellow co-worker from the cafe she used to work at. She hails from New York and has a thick accent. Unlike Patricia's cynical self, this woman is a romantic, an idealist, and quite boy crazy. Although it bothered the raven haired woman, she grew fond of her co-worker. They're good friends who hang out outside of work sometimes. Whenever Caesar visited, she liked to tease Patricia by saying that her "boyfriend is here".
Lisa-Lisa: the ultimate amount of respect. She likes how she's a nice balance of serious, easy going, and classy. Really looks up to her.
Mother: Despises her mother with all her being. From the age of 3 til 6 she's been verbally and physically abused by her because of petty jealousy and insecurity.
Father: Loves her father with all her being. He raised her from birth until he died months after she turned 18. She cared for him when he grew ill when she turned 13. She's grateful that he took her away from her mother so they could have a better, more stable life despite their now poor status.
Other notes: She suffers from night terrors sometimes. Her body is pretty sensitive to intimate touch, as her life never gave her the room to explore her body and it wasn't high on her priority list.

Il conte di Glencrae (The Capture of the Earl of Glencrae), di Stephanie Laurens
https://amzn.to/3uIYi9n
I suoi intenti erano ben altri.
https://amzn.to/3tFZ9q6
Seduction of a Proper Gentleman  by Victoria Alexander
When Seducing a Duke by Kathryn Smith

My choice awards 2020
Tumblr media
VINCITORE SEZIONE NARRATIVA (in generale)
Tumblr media
Titolo: Where the lost wander
Autore: Amy Harmon
Genere storico
Inedito in italiano
Link: https://amzn.to/382mWcj

VINCITORE SEZIONE FANTASY
Tumblr media
Titolo: Smoke bitten
Autore: Patricia Briggs
Serie Mercedes Thompson libro n. 12
Inedito in italiano

VINCITORE SEZIONE SCIENCE FICTION

Titolo: Sweep with me
Autore: Ilona Andrews
Serie Innkeeper chronicles libro n. 4.5
Genere ibrido tra urban fantasy e science fiction
Inedito in italiano
Dina Demille e Sean Evans, ti difenderanno a tutti i costi.

Titolo: A stitch in time
Autore: Kelley Armstrong
Genere: romance storico con viaggi nel tempo
Inedito in italiano
Link: https://amzn.to/3pENpTe
