These two are companion pieces, the first one being Pran's POV and the second part is Pat's POV. It's so angsty and sweet in a very true to characters of PatPran. You sort of want to grab Pat and Pran by the shoulders and shake senses into them but what's the fun in that? Beautifully gut wrenching with a side of super cute Korn/Wai. If anyone is confused about why BBS fic rec is in the same post as We Are appreciation post...I'm sorry ^^;

They switched positions between episodes. But Pun's smile never changes.

(Pun is in love and he's in deep and he's pining and he's longing and he wants so much but most of all he wants to be happy with what he has, the friendship and the ease and the comfort and, yes, his love.)

watching cherry magic OBVIOUSLY has me envisioning a patpran au. maybe not as tied to virginity, lol, but involving suddenly coming into mind reading powers

after some consideration I feel like the most interesting rendition would be pat suddenly developing mind reading abilities. (like. imagine having access to pran’s thoughts in the elevator in episode 3?!) I think it would allow for an interesting exploration of the concept: what would a pre-realized feelings pat do with proof of pran’s romantic feelings for him?

he wouldn’t be cruel, because we know pat isn’t cruel. and he wouldn’t exploit his abilities to glean more from pran (at least on purpose) because we know pat isn’t like that. but it would still be a bombshell of course. i think at first he’d keep a distance (but that never works long term for either of them). he’d be amazed. and flattered, despite his shock; it's the architecture faculty hot guy/his worthy lifelong rival after all. i think even before he realizes his own feelings he’d be kind. i think he’d tease him about it a little, without letting on that he knows and without touching him. like maybe straight up asking pran “do you have a crush on anyone?” just to see how he’d respond (and secretly hoping to hear pran say his thoughts out loud, maybe?). or even better, "why do you like the person you like?", lowkey fishing lmao. it’s fun to think about.

plus the discrepancy in pran’s actions + thoughts would be cute. like if every time he pushes pat away, he inadvertently messages really fluttery excited (if not simultaneously frustrated, annoyed) yearning to pat. or maybe even the opposite: both of them caught up in their classic pre-realized feelings flirtation, pran letting himself relish the feeling, giving pat that dazed breathless smile; then when they touch, pat is hit with a wave of throttling devastation. ugh

it would also allow for interesting exploration of pat’s thoughts, too. before realizing he had feelings for pran he was closed off from a (queer) part of himself. so maybe the thoughts he needed access to the most was his own all along…something something touching himself to read his own mind. idk I’m just brainstorming here

Part 1 of 4(?) in a series of scene redraws exploring an au where patpran are wlw!

In this au, we see a Pat that struggles with both femininity and masculinity while not fitting either, discovers her queerness after Pran is sent to boarding school, and has a fraying relationship with her father (who had always wished for an eldest son anyway).

Also, we see a Pran who moves back home only to find out that the cause of her gay awakening just got a hundred times hotter.

Pran doesn't often wear dresses, but her sundresses start coming out of her wardrobe more frequently after her and Pat get together. Purely a coincidence, of course.

In my au, all of the characters have pretty similar senses of fashion to their canon counterparts (you’ll see a wide range of outfits as I continue to make drawings set in this verse). This is one of the rare scenarios where Pran’s outfit can be said to be quite different from canon! I have a lot of fun with her. She likes to make stud earrings and bracelet charms out of polymer clay.

OUR SKYY 2 x BAD BUDDY x TALE OF THOUSAND STARS – CHAOS GREMLINS ON SET

OK, so whether it's at sea level or in the highlands, Toto absolutely cannot hold his drink: 😂

But the scene in Our Skyy 2 x Bad Buddy x Tale of Thousand Stars also looks like it has some covert pranking going on: I think Nanon ad-libbed Pran stopping to check if drunken Au was still breathing (sticking a finger under his nose), because it isn't at all necessary for the storyline, and would have been overly distracting if it hadn't been so brief:

PatPran Fanfic Rec!

So I have been reading fanfics of my boys and wanted to sharedsome titles

Seven Sentence Monday

Recently, my unfinished Bad Buddy fantasy AU has been haunting me more than usual. I haven't even looked its way in like half a year but I've started to feel the itch to get back to it. It's my longest running baby after all and it would break my heart to abandon it. And then I saw @dimplesandfierceeyes do a seven sentence post on their BB fic of all things and that felt like the universe speaking to me.

So here goes, seven sentences from the final chapter to I have to burn your kingdom down. Thanks again for the inspiration @dimplesandfierceeyes!

There had been a time when he had been sure that if they ever found themselves here, nothing would stop Pran from crossing over. The Pran in front of him now has his arms wrapped around himself as he fidgets, eyes unfocused and glassy. Fire runs through his skin sparks on oil. He chokes on his first breath, but he keeps on pushing through until he can exhale his rage away, like Ink taught him. He can’t blow this place to pieces. “What did they do to you?” he whispers. Pran shakes his head.

I'm currently working on the fourth chapter of my PatPran Only Friends AU fic. It's coming together slowly.

“Fine,” Pat says; he’ll play along for now. "So you've had better lovers than me." Pran tips his head to the side. "Does it hurt your pride to admit that?" "Maybe." Pat steps forward, and Pran takes a step back, bumping against the door. “But I'm not giving up. I'm competitive." "Yeah?" Pran’s eyes are bright, expectant. "What are you going to do?" "I'm going to prove myself to you." Pat places his palm on the door next to Pran’s head, leans into his personal space, and lowers his voice. “Tell me what those guys do to you,” he says, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth, “and I’ll do it better.”
