follow up to this post i made a few days ago while i try to figure out his face and proportions.

i had an immense amount of fun working on these and will probably keep sketching our ugly frog (affectionate) like this as my warm up for the next while.

(also pathologic weenie hd was stuck in my head the whole time while drawing these not relevant but i just need to get that off my chest)

Btw y’all am I like. . . Allowed to compare Fear and Hunger, Pathologic, and Disco Elysium on the level of their vibes? Is that a cold take at this point. I haven’t played each one yet but I get the sense that’s a cold take, I’m just in the interest of not making my current/future fellow fans upset.

I can’t put into words how happy it makes me when I open up these packages. I always love everything I get with my orders and the keychains are super duper cute and good quality! I’d honestly 100% recommend you go get one of them, especially if your favorite character is in stock!! They come with THE BEST, in my opinion, freebies you could get in an order. (Stickers, buttons, or both ^^) And they’re are all wrapped up in bubble wrap to keep them safe and sound, which has been a bit of a worry of mine when ordering online that something would come in damaged because it wasn’t well packaged T_T haha, this is sounding like an advertisement. Anyways pathologic made me realize how much I like the aesthetic and thematics of saints as a vehicle for horror, or at least brutality. Like especially the Jeanne d’arc kind but theres something about Clara and how she can heal but also kill, and her killing is still seen as godly and as divine punishment.

I’ve known for a while that I have a fascination with angels taken in a more eldritch direction but pathalogic and Clara really made me think about humans chosen by or blessed by… something, maybe divine, maybe only interpreted that way, capable of great good and great harm, and perhaps that blessing is not so kind to the blessed either… idk

Like obvs that’s just a small aspect of Clara’s whole deal and I am fascinated by her in so many other ways but that really jumped out at me and vibed with me
