Is there anything else we should know about Lilian (Lilith) in your Stargazers AU? Such as: What was she like as a mother? Why do you think she had postpartum depression? What was her postpartum depression like? How was her relationship with Lucius (Lucifer) like before they divorced? What does she think of Lucius (Lucifer) and Charlie now?

All really amazing questions that I wonder why people don't ask more often XD But rest assured, EVERYTHING you ask about got answers to them! I kid you not when I say this AU is jam packed in lore! With hints of future story arcs sprinkled through almost every related post as all major characters WILL have their chance at development (whether they want it or not). Unfortunately, due to plot reasons, I can't answer most of these questions YET. But I can tell you they were very much drawn to each other when Lucius and Lilian first started going out and she still keeps in touch with the father and daughter dynamic duo! Even if getting a hold of her now is quite difficult. In any case, I'm grateful for your interest and I apologize for the long wait! I had my first owned art booth experience and it coincided with Midterms. Charlie: I'm so happy you all finally accepted to come here!

Adam: I'm just using it as stepping stone to go back to Heaven, If I need to be close to these three fuckers for more time than I would want, then sucks to be me that beggars can't be choosers.

Lucifer: Oh you're just angry because we didn't invite you. If you wasn't such a mysoginist asshole, maybe things could have gone differently~.

Adam: As if I would want to be part of your broken polycule!

Lilith: As If we wanted you to join us.

Eve: Actually I would have loved him if he had joined us.

Lilith: Eve!?

Eve: What? He was my husband and surpriselly or not, I loved him.

Adam: If you really loved me you wouldn't have cheated on with the two people I hate the most and ruined my life!

Eve: It was a accident! Ruin your life to be more precise, cheat on you was a choice I made.

Adam: Like how Cain was a accident!?

Eve: Cain was the first oops baby but of all things I regret about me, Lilith and Lucifer he isn't one of them, even despite everything....

Adam: Talk this to poor Abel's face, oh I forgot, you can't thanks to your bastard!

Before Eve (who quickly got angry) could say something, Charlie left her in the dust.

Charlie: Wait, Cain is my brother!?

Lucifer: We talk about him later, since we are talking about us I guess sooner or later we need to talk about him hehehehehehe.....

Charlie: I won't let any of you avoid it, why I'm only discovering it now!? There's any other lost sibling I need to know!?

Lucifer: Not that I know, Lilith?

Lilith: Why you are looking to me like that?

Lucifer: Well my only children are Charlie and Cain, and it isn't like we were monogamous.

Lilith: Despite having been called mother of the Plagues of Mankind, it's just a myth, I have a harder time having childrens than you and believe me, If Charlie have half-childrens you would already know.

Charlie: Ok, good to know about it. Let's go back to your therapy and later on we discuss about my brother.

Lilith: Before it I would like to ask Eve a question.

Eve: Yes?

The "Mother" of Demons look to the Mother of Mother of Humanity into her eyes.

Lilith: Do you really regret us, Evening Star?

Eve: It was good while it lasted, but it didn't compesate all the suffering.

Lilith: Sigh, why I'm the only who don't regreat anything? Why I'm the only who think that despite everything it was worth and we did nothing wrong!?

Lucifer: Lilith, I.....

Eve: Because among us you're the only one who won in the end. Lucifer was cast from his old home into a hell of his own making and me and Adam lost everything that was meant to be ours, meanwhile you got the freedom, power and a realm separate from the gilded cage and heaven you so despised.

Lilith: Maybe because I was the only who tried to make the best of a bad situation. Better on Earth or hell than on a gilded cage without free will.

Adam: Heh, "free will."

Lilith: What you mean with it!?

Adam: You know exactly what I mean with it! If there's another thing that annoys me about you is how you describe that curse as free will! I chose to try to take the control because I wanted to be the top, you chose to leave me and rebel against everything the Elders planned because you desired more than paradise and Eve glady accepted the Apple and ruined everything!

Before Lilith could give her own response Charlie resolved to intervene.

Charlie: Ok, calm down you two before this escalate to a fight. We are here to talk about your problems and resolve them peacefully, we let the talk about the magic of free will for later too.

Lilith: Fine.

Adam: Tsk, let's get over it.

i'm really curious, what are some of your least favorite takes you've seen about Lucifer? (i'm prompted by that last post you reblogged :p) i know you're not a fan of Alastor, so probably RadioApple, and, because of the demisexual headcanon, probably almost any non-canon "canon x Lucifer" ship is a "least favorite," but what else? (if you're worried about getting flamed or put on blast or smth, feel free to ignore or just DM!)

I wanted to answer this earlier but I completely forgot lmao

I’m not worried about getting flamed, I don’t think my takes are gonna make anyone TOO upset lol. If it so, ehh who cares!

I feel like I haven’t made it clear how I feel about Alastor…I actually DO like Alastor! He’s one of my favorite characters and I’m very interested in learning more about him and his story. I think my main issue with Al comes from his popularity in the fandom and how he’s portrayed sometimes outside of the show itself.

I always say this, but I’m not here to rain on anybody’s parade, we are all kids playing with dolls here. Everything is fun and make believe and we all gotta find joy in something, right? Hell, people can be annoyed with my love for Lucifer and that’s perfectly fine! I just don’t expect to be harassed over it just like I won’t harass anyone who enjoys something I don’t! Because I’m a grown ass adult and I have real problems to worry about!

That being said, you are correct in saying I don’t really enjoy RadioApple (this is my first time admitting it publicly and I’m a little afraid lol) It’s just not a ship I vibe with. However, I truly don’t mind other ships with Lucifer that much, I’m more neutral than anything, but I can appreciate interesting character dynamics in ships like Adamsapple and Appledust. But y’all know I’m a Lucilith lover he misses his wife Tails. I’m just a sucker for that kind of devotion which is where my demi side really shines through lol

But back to your original question! The take I see the most and angers me the most is when people say that they wish Lucifer would have been portrayed as more of a bad guy; a neglectful father who belittles Charlie and her mission, someone who detests his lot in life and is more vicious and cruel “like the devil should be.” But guys…THERE ARE ALREADY SO MANY DEPICTIONS OF THE DEVIL IN MEDIA THAT PORTRAY HIM AS EVIL!!!! I am really happy they did something different with this Lucifer! They made him funny and charismatic and sympathetic. He’s not perfect, don’t get me wrong, he’s still very prideful, he resents sinners, and he can be a bit of a show off.

But I feel like most people forget Lucifer is still an angel, a being of light who made a mistake and was punished harshly for it. He didn’t mean to bring darkness into the world, all he wanted was to give humanity a gift, but they abused it. Lucifer is sad, he’s depressed, he isolates himself, he’s lonely, he doesn’t take his role as king of Hell seriously. Plus his wife leaving did not help. (I have a whole rant I could go on about the shit Lilith gets but I’ll save it for another time lol.)

As someone who had struggled with depression in the past, I did the exact same thing. I didn’t spend much time with the people closest to me and I ignored my responsibilities because of what I was going through. And yes, while he hasn’t been a great father, he still loves Charlie with his whole heart and would do anything to protect her. And I think that’s what matters; he cares and he’s trying to improve. This show’s main theme is redemption, is it not?

So no, I really don’t think we needed another evil devil character in media. I love my silly little duck man and I will ALWAYS defend him and his characterization!

The Deer Gods AU

In an isolated village in Ireland, the population still worships two Cervitaurs, half-deer, half-man creatures. One of blood red brings Death, the other with white fur grants Life. Hidden in a sanctuary in the heart of the forest, they protect the village and its inhabitants… until the day the Crusader Knights arrive in the Village to bring the Good Word! Between shenanigans and plots, friendship and cruelty, the Deer Gods will have to fight to survive this invasion.

Well, this AU, I have already introduced it to you ^^ Alastor and Lucifer are Cervitaurs and are Charlie's parents. Their life is peaceful until the arrival of the Crusaders led by Adam. The fiction is already available in French on AO3 and Wattpad and the translation is currently in progress.

Son of the Radio AU

Alastor has a Hellborn son: Wendigo aka Wend! The young demon deer, although almost as powerful as his father, does not seek to dominate Hell but joins Princess Charlie Morningstar in her Redemption Hotel project, mainly in order to help his boyfriend: Angel Dust! However, when Alastor returns after 7 years of absence, he doesn't really seem to accept the relationship between his son and the porn actor.

This AU is the one that presents the most OCs. There are three ^^ however, this AU is the only one where I don't use the Huskerdust. Husk will still have an important role with Angel but no romance is expected for them since Angel is already in a relationship.

Genderbend Alastor AU where Alastor is a woman named Alanor, the Radio Demon with boundless cruelty and a dark past who hates men more than anything. But why? What could she hide?

Let Me Be Surprised AU

Alastor has just died! But instead of falling into Hell as his life as a serial killer and cannibal would have predicted, he is pulled away from Darkness by Lucifer, a Seraph Angel who wishes to rehabilitate Sinners. But Heaven being far too calm for him, Alastor steals the watch that represents his life and winds it up to return to Earth, unwittingly dragging Lucifer with him. Now immortal, Alastor is determined to take his life back in hand and become unforgettable! And for that, he intends to use Lucifer's naivety as well as the exceptional powers of Emily and Charlie, two angel and demon twins who say they are the daughters of Lilith, the Queen of Hell!

Not How It Seems AU

Alastor was murdered when he was only 9 years old. But instead of going to Heaven like all children's souls, he ends up in Hell! With incredibly powerful powers, he becomes the Terrible Radio Demon and obtains the title of Overlord. When he hears about the Queen's Redemption project, his curiosity and desire for fun make him join the crazy adventure of the Hazbin Hotel! However, in Hell as elsewhere, things are never what they seem!

A kind of Swap AU where Alastor is the only Sinful Child, where Charlie is an angel, daughter of Michael and Sera, twin sister of Emily who was fallen and who became Queen of Hell with her wife Vaggie and who is constantly in competition for the throne with Satan, former Prince of Hell, and Lilith, First Woman who became Sin of Pride. But despite her kingdom in precarious balance, Charlie is determined to make up for her mistakes by rehabilitating the Sinners in order to stop the Exterminations led by Adam and his son Abel!

Second Chance AU (based on Helluva Boss but mixed with Hazbin Hotel)

Stolas just died… he remembers feeling his last breath leave him… and yet, he wakes up in his child's body, a few days after his birthday where he met Blitzø. Realizing that he was given a second chance to live, Stolas decides to no longer lead his life to make his neglectful father proud, preferring to do everything to be happy and hoping to fix the mistakes he made in his past life. And surprisingly, the key to his happiness seems to be by becoming the adopted son of the King and Queen of Hell.

Quite old AU but which has more or less regained its meaning first with the series Hazbin Hotel (for characters such as Lucifer, Charlie and Lilith and the others) and the last episodes of Helluva Boss

The Doe King AU (made for the Doe Lucifer Week)

Lilith, outraged that Lucifer offers to carry the child they can't have, makes a pact with Sera, promising her that she will never give Lucifer children if she helps her make him weaker. With the power granted by Heaven, she curses Lucifer to be stuck in a doe's body and chases him from the throne. Lucifer manages to survive thanks to the support of the Sins Asmodeus, Beelzebub and Belphegor but he has no motivation to fight against Lilith because his heart is broken… until he meets Alastor.

Your Love Is A Ghost

Lucifer Morningstar was the most dangerous vampire in the world.

And then he wasn't.

Charlie never let her father's past bother her. However, when her blossoming interest in Vaggie takes a dangerous turn, she finds that there is no escaping family history.

Lucifer and Cain have a talk.

Lucifer: "Did Adam ever abuse you?" He sks his son, trying to put an end to this silence.

Lilith left them alone to have a talk, meanwhile she was talking care of the royal duties for the two of them. She knows Lucifer need to have a talk with his long-lost son so she can wait to have her turn with her stepchild that in another life she could have called son and she would be saw by him as his mother as Eve. Too bad that the world was cruel for everyone.

Cain: "No, but he never pretended to be my father. Adam raised me but let clear from early on that I wasn't his son, even when I was too young to understand. For him I was a constant reminder that his second wife cheated on him with his ex and the angel she ran away with." The First Murderer says, still looking up at heaven in the red sky of hell. "After I killed Abel, he said to me my face in front to mom and the angels that he regret don't having crushed me on a rock when I was a newborn before I could harm any of his sons." He clenches his fists and Lucifer looks horrified for a moment, rage sparking in his heart.

Lucifer: "You didn't deserve it, Cain. You deserved to have a father, I wanted to be a father but I didn't even know you were my child until you appeared here....and your stepmother is having troubles in giving birth....no one of your siblings survived until now." The Devil looks to the floor as he thinks about how he wasn't present on Cain's life and Lilith's curse given by his own family.

Cain: "I thought it too for a long time as I saw how much Adam loved Abel and his other children on his own way. I was so envious, nothing I did made him accept me as his own. My mother also tried to make us get closer, but this only got him angrier with her and then they fought more." He remembers their fights.

Lucifer: "How Eve was....after me and Lilith were banished? We lost contact with our Evening Star after giving her the Apple. You know, planned to make official our relationship and live in our own corner of Eden, if not somewhere else, but everything quickly went to hell after we unleashed Evil."

Cain: "Bad but it could be worse. Adam wasn't abusive with her either if you're thinking about it, but he held a grudge for having lost everything and being stuck with mother and me on Earth. She tried to make things work between them; so he did too begrudgingly out of a sense of duty, pragmatism.....and also because he was afraid to be alone. I hate Adam, but also pity him." He remembers how miserably he was with Eve.

The Mother of Humanity actually tried to make things easier between them. It was out of some feeling of love she still felt for him despite everything or just pity? Who knows, Cain didn't really understand even now what his mother and stepfather felt for each other and honestly? Regardless of what Eve really feel for him, Adam doubt and refuse to consider the possibility she trully love him because he knows that like him if she could chose she would have left.

Lucifer: "Did your mother ever talked about me and Lilith?"

Cain: "No more than Adam who was cursing your names constantly. After I was old enough to understand things better, my mother had a talk with me in which she told about her story with you and Lilith."

Lucifer: "Did she regret us? "

Cain: "She feel regreat but not remorse. My mother told me that despite everything if she could go back in time she would still eat the Apple, I don't know if she changed her mind after I killed Abel..... I never saw so much rage in her eyes before. I think she hates me now." It hurts him the mere thought.

The way how Eve looked at him, Adam and the angels as she cried, hugging tightly Abel's body, haunted Cain up to this day.

Lucifer: "I see." He reflects for a moment. "Heh, she and Lilith are more similar than people give them credit. " He says with a little of humor, wondering like Cain if Eve hates him and Lilith now.

Time for more thoughts and HCs

Now I don't actually ship Lucilith. Not in the present tense. That's not to say I dislike the ship, I think that their relationship was incredibly important to Lucifer in many many ways and has in part shaped the man he is. I think that they were very much in love and Lilith was very much a stabilizing force when Lucifer had to push past his trauma and Do what Needed to be Done. But I also think that part of their lives is Done.

Lucifer still pines for Lilith, but I think it's one sided. I think Lilith... Outgrew their relationship, needed a chance to be a person on her own. After all, she was Made to be a Wife and though she was not Adam's, she didn't have very long before she became Lucifer's, or at the very least didn't have long when she wasn't in Some Relationship. She may have been independent and had her freedom while in her relationship with Lucifer, but she also very much had to act as his crutch while he struggled with the depression of being banished, of being abandoned, and ultimately seeing that no matter how hard he tried the things he did with good intentions blew up in his face.

Sure, building up Hell may have been more or less a success, but the people who reside there are subjects the other Sins created or Sinners who are a constant reminder of how his good wishes never turn out. Lilith took ownership and took charge of Sinners as her people, though I don't think Lucifer ever really did. And she Led her people in a way that scared Heaven. But she always yearned for freedom and she was never truly free. She didn't feel as though Lucifer was a burden or anything, but that didn't change that he was, in some ways, a shackle.

Especially since at some point I feel as though Lucifer was more in love with the Idea of Lilith, the image he had in his head of her, the things she Represented, than the real person who she was. And she knew that. She knew he was distant in strange ways and that he wasn't really seeing Her anymore. She still loves him but it's not the romantic passionate thing it once was. And even if he might think otherwise, she knows Lucifer feels the same, he just isn't willing to let go. They love each other still but its far more Queer Platonic than Romantic now.

Lucifer knew Lilith was right when she spoke about splitting up. As much as he desperately wanted to cling to the memory of what they once had, he does still truly love her and knew that it wasn't doing her any good to stay stagnant. And so he let her go. He still mourns and still pines and he needs to learn what it means to be on his own and be in complete charge of himself as a single person in this situation. He'd never existed in Hell without Lilith and he has to learn who he is in that capacity. It's not easy, but it's for the best

It would've been funny if, instead of being in Heaven for the past 7 years, Lilith was out of the public eye for a different reason. Say, her and Lucifer decided they wanted another baby (or it was an accident, I haven't decided yet), so both of them are busy with their new addition to the family.
