He looked for her as soon as he got off the phone. He'd gone on the roof for some privacy, but... He regretted it. Zen did not have anything to hide, even the fact that his parents most likely will never accept him. Nevertheless, he still hoped. And hoped. And made her wait.

Surely being their  s o n  counted ? Wasn’t there love left, somewhere in their heart ?

He found MC in the kitchen and sank down on a chair. He was defeated to be honest, but he tried to stay positive for the both of them. She had taught him to see the brighter side of things -- maybe the time to use this skill was when life hurt him the most.

“Hey... I just called my parents.”

He sighed, yet smiled apologetically. MC was so patient with him and he constantly felt guilty that she had to put up with his drama. 

“They told me to come when I’ll have a real job...”

I can’t deny that this hurts like hell. Maybe I should give up on them... No matter what, it won’t ever be good enough. They’ll only be satisfied when I’ll become some Jumin guy, and it’s not me -- it’s never been me.

“I’m sorry you have to put up with this... Maybe they just don’t love me, I think I should just give up.”

There he was, running his mouth again when she already had so much to deal with. I should just shut up.

Her muffled cries of pain certainly didn’t feel rewarding at all, nor did the bowl between the two filled with stained red glass and bits of MC’s skin still stuck to it. Focusing on digging glass particles out of her foot was exceptionally difficult after all of the emotions of seeing Saeran had come up. For years, Seven had thought of his brother, trusting he had been doing well. And here, he had just seen his twin for the first time in God knew how long, and Saeran had just tried to either murder all of them or kidnap MC. It would be a miracle if Seven didn’t eventually need that bowl to puke in. Although it was generous of her to share credit with him, this baffled him. Her logic and his logic were clearly complete opposites. “You shouldn’t give me any credit, MC. You wouldn’t have been in danger if it weren’t for me..” He paused for a moment. “If I… if I hadn’t frozen up like that, you wouldn’t have had to do something like that, so I’m really sorry. All of this is my fault.”  In the silence, he inspected her foot to be sure no more bits of glass were in it before lightly applying an antibiotic cream to it and bandaging it. “It’s very nice of you to thank me, but I don’t deserve it right now. I should be the one thanking you for acting and saving us all when I couldn’t. –And thanking you for keeping Saeran safe as well..” Although she had bit Saeran, she didn’t seriously wound him. Maybe she would have if given the opportunity, but he was glad they were both safe for now. “I don’t know what’s going on with my brother.. But I hope that you’ll be able to know the same Saeran I did some day.”

On Saturday a usual suspect who was supposed to deliver at the agreed time of 11 am had not showed up. At 12:30 pm, there was still no show and they have a tendency of being very late! So I made it a personal mission to be on their case so that they don’t end up getting to the event after it starts. After constant pushes, the vendor was rather upset asking why we are giving them pressure for being late, calling and shouting at us saying they will come so we should stop giving them pressure, totally disregarding that they are already 2 hours late at this moment in time and at 1.01 pm sends a text message that “Look for another supplier. Thank you” and turns off their phone. YES! This is the kind of scenario Event Coordinators have to deal with from some vendors. Do you think the client knows? NO! We had to find a way to quickly find an alternative supplier at that last hour to deliver. Saving the day. Costing us money too which we barely go chasing the client for. So Dear Client, when you pay for an Event Coordinator, remember that you are paying for a reliable and responsible brand who are to carry out the following: Running The Event From Start To Finish On The Day Of The Event., Organising And Managing Your Event Day Timeline, Coordinating Vendors And Their Deliveries For The Day Of The Event, Making Sure The Event Spaces Are Set Up On The Day Of The Event, Etc…. The Event Coordinator Is Not Responsible For Fixing Up Vendor(s) Underperformances, But A Good Event Coordinator With Experience, Always Ends Up Doing So! When drawing up your event budget, place your coordinator’s fees as part of the priority cost not the bonus expenditure. Upon being sneezed on, Saeran immediately recoiled. He hadn’t meant for such an overdramatic reaction or for his words to come out so harsh, but he couldn't repress his annoyance. After struggling the majority of his childhood to battle sinus infections, colds, and the like, Saeran certainly could get overly cautious about germs.

At her apology, however, Saeran simply sighed. He felt slightly guilty she felt the need to apologize, although it also made him feel somewhat better. “That’s okay..” he replied, “It’s not your fault. I just have a shitty immune system, so I’ll get sick no matter how many vitamins I take… I guess at least I’ll have time to prepare for it.”

He managed a faint grin. “Thanks for trying to keep your distance from me, though.”

Zen left his position of leaning up against the door frame and crossed the room to stand beside MC.

Crimson eyes glancing at the song lyrics, he replied to her previous inquiry, “I was lucky enough to catch it right as you started. Do you post your singing anywhere? I bet people would go crazy for it, you know?” His gaze shifted back to her. “You can always ask me things like that. I thought you knew.” Zen pressed his lips together for a moment. “I’m sure the recording sounds great with you singing both harmonies, but — do you want to sing it together just for fun?”
