Partimer!Deku Headcanons!

So I kind of started this on @tui-lah‘s page sending her asks, but I figured since it was what inspired me to make this blog I should keep it up!

Deku as a Part Time Hero/Part Time Kindergarten Teacher:

- Okay so let’s get one thing straight Deku absolutely ADORES his kids, okay? He was already pretty good with kids, but getting to work with kids is truly the dream for him (I mean, aside from the hero dreams). 

- Consistently has to be reminded that they are not actually his biological children

- He does shockingly well with problem kids. He’s really good at finding the root of the problem and working from there. Usually when kids are upset or mad it’s an emotional issue, so Izuku just finds out what’s making them sad and tries to help them out.

- His students have asked if they could call him Dad/Daddy/Papa. He had to say no, but only because their actual parents might get upset about that.

- His students all think it’s super cool that he’s a hero and ask for power demonstrations approximately every 5 minutes. He’s pretty sure they’re trying to get him fired.

- Sometimes he gets called away to go on extremely important missions and the kids just...don’t let him go. Like, they dog pile him, cling to his clothes, sob their little hearts out. It breaks his heart every single time, and he always ends up crying with them, which just makes them cry MORE. 

- The other heroes draw straws for who has to go pick him up on these occasions because nobody wants to have to witness the whole scene that ends up happening. There’s just something about a bunch of toddler’s being like, “Mister ‘Doriya, don’t weave!” that can melt even the hardest of hearts. Aizawa is the only one who ever has any level of success in calming the kids down (he has a lot of experience with emotional children).

- Since this is right around the age kids start getting their quirks, Deku is just THRIVING

- At first he was really scared because like...he didn’t get his quirk at a normal age what if he can’t help them?

- This ends up being a laughable fear because Deku has studied so much about quirks that he could literally answer any question they have

- And if he doesn’t know the answer he just asks one of his friends that did grow up with a quirk, like Todoroki or Uraraka.

- The kids are always so proud to show him their quirks, and he gets so excited for them and just hypes them up a ton

- He also pays special attention to the kids who are later bloomers or just don’t have quirks

- He makes sure that they know they’re valuable

- Sits down with them one on one over a juice box if needed and discusses the importance of people without quirks and how heroic they can be by just being themselves

- At the end of the day he usually comes home weighed down with presents from his students

- Sometimes it’s macaroni necklaces, or paper chains, or drawings, etc.

- His refrigerator is more art gallery than fridge at this point

- SO. MANY. PICTURES. OF HERO DEKU.

- He cherishes every gift. Has a whole box of them in his closet.

- Takes his students to feed the birds at the pond on a field trip day once

- Just barely prevents multiple drownings

- Cue Deku wading out of a lake with a couple of soaking wet, oblivious toddlers under his arms

- They have no idea the danger they were in. Deku, on the other hand, decides that bodies of water are going to be a no for the foreseeable future

- Goes home and has a mini panic attack and starts sketching up in his notebook ways to baby proof literally everything

- Best Dad- I mean, teacher, ever.

୨୧ he’s at the store one weekend with kiddo and he’s in the chip aisle looking for which type he wants to get

୨୧ mumbling to himself about which type he’s craving now but what if that craving changes later and he wants a different flavor instead

୨୧ he lets go of the little one’s hand for a split second to get the bag off the shelf and once the grocery is in his arms he turns to his side to grab the little one’s hand once more, only to find him not there

୨୧ he looks up and down the aisle - no kid

୨୧ he goes to the neighboring aisles - not there

୨୧ he goes all around the store, nervously sweating, muttering insults to himself that he lost his only kid - how stupid and unfit of a parent he was

୨୧ until he comes upon an aisle and hears the sniffles of a small child the child took a bit after him when he was a kid, a bit of a crybaby

୨୧ but he sees you

୨୧ calmly reassuring the child, patting his back, telling him to calm down and not to worry that you’ll go look for his father together

୨୧ he doesn’t know why but the sight tugs at his heart, there is something so pure and natural about how you are treating his child

୨୧ but he’s breaking up the sweet moment with a call of his child’s name causing the little boy to turn around and rush into izuku’s large warm arms

୨୧ you’re standing there a little shocked because omg that’s pro hero deku in the mf flesh

୨୧ but you're also happy that the lost boy has been reunited with his father

୨୧ you're about to walk off with a smile when he stops you

୨୧ he thanks you profusely for your help and you’re shyly like ‘it’s no biggie’ with blushed cheeks

୨୧ he asks if he can properly thank you and you’re like dude it’s really no problem

୨୧ he really is thankful but there is also something deep inside him that doesn’t quite want to let you go

୨୧ so he’s like let me buy your groceries and take you out for coffee

୨୧ and you’re about to refuse but you’re a poor college student so getting this weeks groceries for free was one thing

୨୧ but also how are you gonna pass up having coffee with the number one hero and his cute little mini-me ???

୨୧ so yall are at a cute lil cafe where he learns that you're a college student and looking for a partime job over the summer

୨୧ you’re like i’m not sure, i’m not really a kid person

୨୧ he’s like, i saw you with him, you’ll be just fine - besides he’s a good kid, he just needs someone to watch over him and feed him

୨୧ then you hear some shuffling coming from behind you causing you to turn around and investigate

୨୧ lo and behold you see a shirtless izuku with nothing but gray sweatpants hanging low on his wide hips

୨୧ he’s got a towel across his broad shoulders that he’s using to dry the jade curls that haven’t been shaved off as a part of his undercut

୨୧ you follow the droplets of water as they slide down the crevices of his pectorals and abdomen, drifting down his v line and the small tuft of hair leading down from his belly button and melting into the waistline of his pants

୨୧ you’re trying not to salivate at the sight but you also can’t bring yourself to look away just yet wanting to memorize and study the location of every scar and freckle littering his muscular torso

୨୧ he stops drying his hair for a minute and finally sees you like ‘oh great you’re here - how was the trip over here? it wasn’t too hard to find right?’

୨୧ and you’re burning eyes finally tear away from caramel torso and you’re like ‘nope, i found it just fine’ ahaha

୨୧ he gives you a little low down on like, what kid likes to eat, what he doesn’t, what he likes to do, when he goes down for a nap … all that good babysitting stuff

୨୧ after he’s dressed in his hero outfit, he’s kissing his lil nugget goodbye, telling him to treat you nicely, and with several final thank you’s he’s out the door

୨୧ and that’s the start of your job nannying the kid of the number one hero

୨୧ he goes down easy for his nap, he’s potty trained, inko raised him like she did izuku so he’s basically the perfect kid, he’s really sweet and will sit down and watch movies with you or he plays really easy by himself playing with his deku, all might, and dynamite action figures

୨୧ and if how easy a job it was, or the smoking hot employer wasn’t enough, the first time you got your paycheck was

୨୧ and you’re rubbing at your arm awkwardly and trying to create any sort of warmth as you tell him how you got in this mess

୨୧ he’s taking in your soaked form and suddenly his worrying eyes turn into curious ones as he watches a droplet slide from your chin, down your neck, and down your chest to fall between the top alley of your breasts due to the first few buttons of your top being opened

୨୧ the white top you decided today was the perfect day to wear, and without a bra no less

୨୧ but in your shivering and embarrassment you forgot all about that minor detail

୨୧ oh but izuku didn’t forget it

୨୧ he finds an old t-shirt and shorts from his high school days and lays them on his bed telling you through the door that when you’re done he has clothes waiting for you

୨୧ you don’t take too long getting washed up as you know he needs to get to work so only about 10 minutes later you’re walking into the living to izuku sitting on the couch watching the movie his kid wanted to put on

୨୧ he sees you come in from his peripherals as his heart damn near stops seeing you in his clothes

୨୧ the clothes were so small they couldn’t fit him any longer, not after getting a post-high school growth spurt and getting broader due to his hero work

୨୧ but the fact that his already small clothes were swallowing you just did something to him

୨୧ blame it on his size kink he don’t know he has quite yet

୨୧ he pulls himself together to tell you that he threw your soiled clothes in the wash before he says his good byes to his kiddo

୨୧ he’s heading out the door while you and his son are telling him to be safe out there when just as he’s about to leave you call out to him

୨୧ he’s turning around maybe a lil too fast, but he sees you with an umbrella in your hand telling him that you ‘wouldn’t want him to make the same mistake you did’ with a cute bashful smile on your face that almost made him call in sick to work

୨୧ “well kiddo told me it was your birthday and with a quick little google search i confirmed it to be true. and i felt bad that you had to work on your birthday so we decided to bake you a cake while you were gone and wait for you to get home.” you said softly

୨୧ he had totally forgotten it was his birthday but if it being his birthday meant that he could see you in a little apron waiting for him to come in the door …

୨୧ damn he wished it was his birthday everyday

୨୧ y’all move into the kitchen to start cutting the cake and as you’re plating slices you lean down to the little one and tell him to ‘go get the birthday card he made for daddy’

୨୧ and izuku who wasn’t quite paying attention is like “hmm?” and you just like look at him

୨୧ and he’s like, “oh i thought- you were calling for me-“

୨୧ and you’re like mf, i don’t call you daddy yet

୨୧ but yall just kinda like awkwardly get past it and move on when the child comes running in with his folded construction paper with a green stick figure on the front labeled ‘dad’

୨୧ when you’re about to head into his room to see if he somehow decided to sleep in today, izuku comes out his room

୨୧ and you’re like, where’s the kid?

୨୧ and he’s like, oh, i meant to tell you that my mom came by just a few minutes ago and decided to take him out for the day

୨୧ so you’re like, okay, should i just go home then?

୨୧ and he’s like, you could but i just so happen to have the day off and i think it would be nice if we got to spend some time together, without the kid around

୨୧ and you’re like, what am i gonna do ?? say no ?!

୨୧ so y’all go out for coffee, take a walk around the park, and then go out for lunch before going back to his house to watch like a movie or whatever

୨୧ y’all get back home and he sits on the couch scrolling through streaming sites looking for a movie and you’re coming back from the bathroom

୨୧ when you’re walking to the couch, your foot catches one of the kid’s toys that was lying on the floor causing you to trip and stumble forward

୨୧ izuku moves to catch you causing you to fall into his chest and practically on top his lap

୨୧ you’re out of breath from the sudden adrenaline spike but the close proximity between the two of you isn’t making it any easier to catch said breath

୨୧ neither of y’all are moving, just staring into each others eyes as he quietly asks “are you alright?”

୨୧ his warm breath dancing across your face as you give him a light nod

୨୧ his eyes suddenly move to your lips and out of his mouth comes the words you thought you’d never hear

For example:

its set in the bnha universe, demons exist but its a really underground thing (or they dont and its just muzan vs afo for #1 supper villian or they just work together)

deku and tanjiro are cousins (this is law, theyre related im sorry the creators told me themselfs) but their perents had a fall out. cuz dekus dad is a lill bitch and dowsnt now how to comuicate and by the time he gets his shit together, tanjiros dads dead and they cant reach them. cuz tans family lives in a supper remote place doing their charcoal family thing(actually u should check out the japanese charcoal business is really cool).

any way fast forward a few yrs and moms not doing great do tanjiro drops out of school to make more money (since they had to shut down their charcoal business since it was putting them in the red and the charcoal industry wasnt doing good and the medical bills for the dad and then after the mom). on his way back from his partime job in town a huge snow storm happens so he says overnight (like in cannon). next morning, family is dead :( and nezuko servived but just barely.

... anyway im tired so ill add more later

also some notes: tanjiro quirk could ither be the ability to see smells and havig a good sense of smell os just a (byproduct? hedadrary thing?)

nezukos quirk is just her blod demon art (with out the blood boiling thinggy cuz :))) so pretty much eris quik but instead of affecting other ppl it effects herself. she can turn younger, back to hwr normal age and older (but ofc much harder)

Khem. A few month ago,I got the idea of ​​what if Deku became a vigilante because hadn't enrolled in hero course and then joined Gentle and La Brava. In the canon we have a parallel between Midoriya and Gentle, and Izuku also talked about how he could follow the same path as him.

In this au after he failed in the exam, he went to another school, but continued to make his notes and monitor different news. He decided to become a vigilante and started gather information about others vigilantes and villains too. Then he accidentally came across the duet of Gentle and La Brava and Gentle picked his interest as first youtuber villain. So he followed them for some time. After he collected enough information he concluded that they could be helpful for each other and went to their house. The negotiation wasn't really hard, especially with all that information he got and then the started to work together. After spending a lot of time with Gentle, Izuku took over his love for tea and they opened small teahouse, where Izuku works partime.(If LOV could have bar, then they can teahouse, period)

I wondered how would he look in their style of clothing and it turned out something like this. I couldn't help but make a reference to the bunny elements of his hero costume and of course his sneakers.

I'm still not sure about his quirk in this au. Should I make him quirkless or his quirk is useless in work of hero? I can't decide.

Ok so I’m basing this off of the part timer deku thing what if one day he takes you to work with him and all the little boys are low key crushing on you and he likes to mess with them like I’m sorry kids but she’s already taken and then the girls are like ms midoriya your really lucky because he’s pretty

all of the kiddos think you’re so pretty and nice. the girls give deku the ‘you better treat y/n-sensei right!!’ talk and the boys threaten to marry you if he doesn’t <3

Or one time one of the kids is having a bad day and wants to cuddle so Deku is like "of course my heart," but then they ALL want to cuddle so then you just have this gigantic, curly haired baby on the floor with a bunch of literal babies lying on top of him. (Later with his own kids Deku does this on a regular basis and some nights INSISTS that he cannot sleep without every one of his children on top of his body (and Deku has a lot of kids bc that man fvcks)) 💚

Okay so basically I was like, Imagine part timer Deku having an outdoor day with his kindergarten students and they all start putting flowers in his hair except really they're more just stabbing him with stems and then he teaches them how to make flower chains and he comes home absolutely COVERED in dandelion crowns, necklaces and bracelets, sneezing up a STORM and you're like, "babe...I think you might be allergic to dandelions," and he's like, "yeah ik why do you ask?" 💚

OH MY GOD THIS IS CUTE

he comes shuffling in with dandelions falling OUT OF HIS POCKETS, even, and when you go to ask him about why his eyes are so watery, he just presents you with another flower crown he and his students made for you 🥺

Also in case it isn't obvious I really have a thing for Deku's hands so just imagine one day the kids get carried away with bandaids and he has a million on his hands when he gets home and just peeling them off one by one and laying a soft kiss in each spot and Deku turns bright red at the affection but then just relaxes and goes back to watching TV on the couch but shoots you an adoring look with every kiss. 💚

he’s trying to focus on the tv, but everytime you unwrap one and place a little kiss, he can feel his cheeks warm up and his gaze comes back to you.

Okay I know this is a LOT so sorry but also on good days when part timer Deku gets home sometimes he wants to workout but he's short on time so he can't go to the gym and so instead he just has you sit on him while he does push-ups (is he wearing a shirt? You decide) and one time he mentions this to his high school class bc someone asked him how pro-heroes workout and they were like "NO WAY" and he had to bring you in to demonstrate (cough, and show you off, cough). He's VERY proud. 💚

you joke about it once when he’s too tired to get up and go to the gym, and he’s like, “really? c’mere.” sometimes you sit and other times you kinda lay into him, press your mouth into the shell of his ear and make him shiver a little

you’re so embarrassed when he makes you show the class 😭 the way they’re all looking at you bounce on his back a little with every push up. that boy can literally lift a steel beam. you are truly light work for him.

Okay so the thing about working with a pottery wheel is that it's very inconvenient to have someone like, sitting in your lap or something like that, so strategically speaking if you wanted someone close to you like that while doing pottery without putting them in dangerous proximity of the very fast spinning wheel and wet flying clay bits, probably the best you're going to get is them sitting up against your back, so imagine being back to back with Deku and talking about your day I'm SOFT 💚

On the other hand we have hero/teacher Deku as a high school teacher. All the girls have a crush on him. Actually, just everybody has a crush on him, including his fellow teachers. He teaches history and gets SUPER into quirk related history. Sometimes he stages full reenactments where he uses his quirk speed to run dialogue with himself. He does this thing when he grades papers where he hunches over his desk with this little furrow in his brow and chews on his pen caps.

everybody has a crush on him. he’s everyone’s favorite teacher, but he never believes them when they tell him 🥺 he doesn’t understand how he could be their favorite, he just rambles on about quirks all the time.

you can always find him in his classroom late at night, grading papers or reviewing lesson plans for the next week 🥺 even after students pass his class, they always come back to talk to him in between passing periods to ask him to be their teacher again.

Just imagine a bunch of toddlers trying to wake up Izuku Brick House Midoriya. One of them just like, slaps him in the face but in a weak toddler way and another is like, "no, my mommy says you have to be GENTLE, like THIS" and just as Deku is starting to wake up baby boy gets poked right in the eyeball (the kids feel bad, but he's had worse. Accidentally traumatizes them by describing how some old hero lost an eye. They're all like 😳😭 and Deku's like 'oh no not again') 💚

Okay I thought I was done but then the idea popped into my head of Deku having to last minute be a sub for sex-ed and like...he would be SO. RED. Stammers his way through the whole lesson, but the class knows him from history so they go easy on him. When he gets home and tells you, after you finish dying laughing, he's like "What do you think I should say if this happens again?" (bc boi is a planner) and ur like "Oh I can give you some sex-ed tips" 💚
