After the parade, head to Lincoln Park for the Pride Festival. Local vendors and food trucks will line the park, offering a variety of cuisines and merchandise. Don't miss the live performances on the main stage, featuring local musicians and drag performers.
As dusk appears, join us at Soundwave for the official Pride After-Party. Dance the night away to pulsing beats and enjoy specially crafted rainbow cocktails.
Sunday, June 23rd:
Start your day with a refreshing Pride Yoga session at Fit & Toned, open to all skill levels.

Ça m’a trop touchée. 🫶🏻
et je me suis fait tatoué aussi à MTL!!!!! par une tatoueuse trop safe et qui avait un chien supra mignon dans son stud 🐕 🤍

Welcome
Ladies, gentlemen, non-binary folk, and everyone else around and inbetween; welcome to New Horizons Paleozoological Sanctuary! As with many paleozoological locations around the globe, we specialize in the study and conservation of prehistoric creatures, all under the safety of our borders. As part of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, we strive for the best of the best in the habitation and health of our animals, with 45 different de-extinct species and nearly 200 individuals in total in our North Carolina location. New Horizons is dedicated to our mission to learn, preserve, and nurture these remarkable animals.
Our Mission
The New Horizons Paleozoological Sanctuary was founded with three key principles:
To protect our animals and help them grow
To learn from our animals to better understand them
To share our knowledge with the public
These three goals are the foundation of New Horizons at its core. We have state of the art facilities and top researchers from around the globe to both find new information and study the information from all other paleozoological locations to make sure we are up to date with all the information we have. We are proud to be accredited as members of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the International Zoo and Aquarium Fund, and the Global De-Extinction Group.
History
History:
The New Horizons Paleozoological Conservation Park was conceived in 2034 by Dr. Jade Onyx, a paleontologist who was on the forefront in the de-extinction conversation on news and social media. As a world-famous paleontologist, she was steadfast in her voice to protect the resurrected species. With their help, zoos all over the world began housing extinct species until the new locations were created. After becoming a paleobiologist and studying abroad, Dr. Jade Onyx discovered a group of feral Psittacosaurus’ in North Carolina. Receiving funding, they housed them until the International Zoo and Aquarium Fund paid for a proper facility, which then grew into New Horizons.
New Horizons officially opened to the public in 2038, and is now one of the most famous paleozoological locations in the world.
Founder:
Dr. Jade Onyx is a world famous paleontologist who has loved dinosaurs since they were a kid. In her own words, she watched the Jurassic Park movies and was not deterred by them. Instead, they fell deeper into fascination with prehistoric life, which only grew as time increased and watching famous paleo-documentaries such as Walking With Dinosaurs (1999) and Prehistoric Planet (2022). As the process of de-extinction was being finalized and perfected, Jade became a paleobiologst to study these magnificent animals, until she was on the frontlines of the de-extinction debate.
Dr. Jade Onyx is publicly AMAB non-binary and uses she/they pronouns. They received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte; a Masters in Paleontology at North Carolina State University; a Doctorate of Paleontology at North Carolina State University; and a Doctorate in Paleobiology at North Carolina State University. They are an award winning scientist who puts the health of her animals first, and we at New Horizons are proud to call them our Founder.

Inspiration
New Horizons was heavily inspired by the incredible work of Joschua Knüppe that I found on Instagram, and the Thomas Henry Huxley Paleozoological Gardens that I discovered on Tumblr. Links will be posted below to those locations. While these two projects reignited my interest and gave a framework for New Horizons, I have also had my own prehistoric creature zoos in the past, but none of them came to public. I had a project called Sanctuary Gardens that I lost interest in, as well as several Minecraft worlds where I designed zoos for prehistoric creatures.

The Advantages and Considerations of Pressure Washing Commercial Properties in Wilmington, DE
Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of commercial properties in Wilmington, DE, can be effectively achieved through pressure washing. This article explores the benefits of pressure washing for businesses, highlights the key areas suitable for this technique, and emphasizes important considerations specific to commercial pressure washing projects.
Enhancing Business Benefits with Pressure Washing:
1.1 Improving Curb Appeal: In the competitive business world, first impressions count. Pressure washing creates a positive impact on customers, clients, and visitors by presenting a clean and well-maintained exterior, ultimately enhancing the overall curb appeal of the commercial property. This improved visual appeal can attract more foot traffic and potential customers.
1.2 Maintaining a Professional Image: For businesses, upholding a professional image is vital for building trust and credibility. Regular pressure washing eradicates dirt, grime, mold, and unsightly stains that may otherwise give the impression of neglect or inattention to detail.
1.3 Preventing Safety Hazards: Slippery surfaces caused by algae, moss, or oil spills can pose safety risks to employees and customers. Pressure washing effectively removes these hazards, reducing the likelihood of accidents and potential liabilities for the business.
1.4 Extending Longevity: Over time, the accumulation of dirt, mold, and pollutants can degrade building materials. Regular pressure washing can extend the lifespan of exterior surfaces, protecting investments and reducing the need for costly repairs or replacements.
Cleaning Sidewalks, Parking Lots, and Building Exteriors:
2.1 Sidewalks: Sidewalks endure heavy foot traffic and collect dirt, chewing gum, and various stains. Pressure washing effectively removes these blemishes, restoring cleanliness and making the sidewalks more inviting to pedestrians.
2.2 Parking Lots: Oil stains, tire marks, and other debris can accumulate in parking lots, detracting from the property's overall appeal. Pressure washing helps maintain a neat and well-maintained parking lot, leaving a positive impression on customers from the moment they arrive.
2.3 Building Exteriors: The exterior of a commercial building is exposed to various environmental elements that can cause discoloration and damage. Pressure washing can remove dirt, mold, mildew, and pollutants from building exteriors, revitalizing their appearance and preserving the property's value.
Special Considerations for Commercial Pressure Washing Projects:
3.1 Water Usage and Regulations: Commercial pressure washing typically requires a significant amount of water. Adherence to local water usage regulations and adoption of eco-friendly practices are essential to minimize environmental impact.
3.2 Scheduling and Business Operations: When planning a pressure washing project for a commercial property, careful consideration of the business's operating hours and customer flow is crucial. Scheduling the cleaning during off-peak hours can minimize disruptions and ensure a seamless operation.
3.3 Hiring Professional Services: To achieve optimal results and avoid potential damage to surfaces, it's advisable to engage a reputable pressure washing company experienced in handling commercial properties. Professionals possess the necessary equipment, expertise, and safety protocols to carry out the job efficiently.
Conclusion:
Pressure washing is a valuable investment for businesses in Wilmington, DE, providing numerous benefits such as improved curb appeal, a professional image, enhanced safety, and prolonged property life. Focusing on cleaning sidewalks, parking lots, and building exteriors enables businesses to maintain an inviting and well-maintained environment for their customers. When undertaking commercial pressure washing projects, mindful consideration of water usage, scheduling, and professional services ensures the best results.

Wilmington & Western Railroad in Wilmington, Delaware When the Wilmington & Western Railroad first opened in 1872, steam-powered engines transported people and goods from the mills and farms lining Delaware’s scenic Red Clay Valley to the Port of Wilmington. Today, the mills and farms have all but shuttered, but folks visiting Wilmington can still take in the natural beauty of an iconic wooded valley while riding century-old trains over tracks laid down shortly after the Civil War. The 10-mile route strikes out west from Wilmington, first passing the Greenbank Mill, the only surviving mill along the historic route, which produced hubs, spokes, and rims for the Wilmington carriage industry as far back as the 1850s. You’ll then pass Brandywine Spring Park, where stone foundations are all that remains of a once-bustling historic amusement park, before traversing the backyards of Faulkland neighborhoods, where you might see resident children waving as you pass by.  The Wooddale Rock Cut is rather adrenal, with the walls of a roofless tunnel inching to within five feet of the train on either side. It’s also a fitting segue into the Wooddale Covered Bridge, one of only three in the state. The train—until this point winding and meandering along the Red Clay Creek—enters a calming straightway through the fields of Barley Mill before entering the 650-acre woodland of Mt. Cuba where riders can de-train and picnic. The train will cross an iron bridge in Ashland and pass by some of the world’s largest historic snuff mills in Yorklyn before climbing Hockessin Hill, in view of an abandoned pit mine from which tons of kaolin—an essential ingredient in producing china plateware—was once extracted. If you missed any of the scenic or historic sites on the way out, you’ll get a chance to spot them again on the ride back. Beside its typical 10-mile route, the heritage rail offers special holiday lines throughout the year, serving green beer aboard a St. Patrick’s Express, decorating their historic coaches for the Santa Claus Express, boarding a human-sized lagomorpha for the Easter Bunny express, and the like. A helpful calendar on their website outlines not only the day, time, and route on offer, but also the specific train that will power the journey (the 1929 Pennsylvania Railroad “Doodlebug” car is a crowd favorite). https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/wilmington-western-railroad
