I die! I die! 👻 ... literally passes out, because this has to be my best Sims 2 community lot build to date! And with only 6 custom content items, this was a feat that I did not think I would be able to accomplish! In fact, it took me about 4 months to complete this build; that's human months, not Sims months—haha. What a challenge! Available for download now!

From the swanky 1st-floor lounge to the cute and cozy 2nd-floor bakery, I became obsessed with the idea of a small, Paris-themed café that my Sims could go to for a chat, a cup of coffee, and a delicious pastry. And now, I’m thrilled to share it with you!

Experience the charm of Place de la Contrescarpe in the heart of Paris with this delightful Café au Lait recipe. The combination of strong coffee and creamy milk is the perfect way to start your day or enjoy a leisurely afternoon.

Ingredients: 1 cup of freshly brewed coffee. 1/2 cup of hot milk. 1 tablespoon of sugar adjust to taste. Whipped cream optional. Cocoa powder or cinnamon for garnish.

Instructions: Use your favorite coffee blend to make a strong cup of coffee. Heat the milk in a different pan until it's hot but not boiling. Leave some space at the top of your coffee cup as you pour the hot milk in. To taste, add sugar and stir until it's gone. Add a dollop of whipped cream on top if you want to. Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa powder to finish. Serve your Parisian caf au lait and enjoy it!

Montmartre at night. You ever notice how on a street of cafes, there’s always one that’s totally empty while the rest are filled? I always feel sorry for those places—I mean, no one’s going to be the first to sit down. Do the owners just stand around wondering what’s gone wrong? Or maybe they don’t wonder, and that’s the problem. Anyway, that’s what I thought about as I painted this one. It’s gouache, colored pencil, and marker. I really tried to paint it as loosely as I would a street sketch, which means it’s a bit wonky in places, but it’s also, I hope, full of life!
