Okay, SO. This is my personal list of my go-to Jeffbritta episodes. Obviously not all of these are romantic: they're just focused on them or have funny interactions with them.

I love them and they deserve everything + endgame

Season 1

Season 1 has a BUNCH of Jeffbritta episodes, specially considering they were supposed to be the main couple of the show back then. My favorites are:

S1 E1 Pilot: Obviously.

S1 E3 Introduction To Film: Seize the day!

S1 E14 Interpretative Dance: This is the cute episode where Jeff brings flowers for Britta.

S1 E16 Communication Studies: This is the episode where Jeff gets drunk with Abed and ends up calling Britta and blablabla...

S1 E22 The Art Of Discourse: This one doesn't have any explicit Jeffbritta I think? It's just fun to see them make an evil plan to take revenge on some random highschoolers.

S1 E23 Modern Warfare: One of my (if it isn't my #1 favorite) favorite episodes of Community. The one where Jeff and Britta have sex in the study room table.

Season 2

On Season 2 we got a weirdly amount of Jeffannie episodes, but we still had our fair share of Jeffbritta episodes!

S2 E1 Anthropology 101: Not really Jeffbritta, but it's still fun watching them being gross in this episode, right?...right?

S2 E6 Epidemiology: Seeing Jeff walk around with Britta to give her drinks is funny.

S2 E10 Mixology Certification: This is an obvious one.

S2 E13 Celebrity Pharmacology: Cool cats. AKA, The Bi Panic™

S2 E16 Intermediate Documentary Filmmaking: That's Irak, stupid. WHAT DO I KNOW, I'M JEFF WINGER'S DUMB GAY DAD!

S2 E19 Critical Film Studies: This isn't really a Jeffbritta episode, but they match costumes... that's... that's enough, right

S2 21 Paradigms of Human Memory: Unrelated, but I just looked at the Wikipedia page, and it was almost entirely filmed in Universal Studios. The "popping the back of a raft makes it go faster" scene was filmed in a Jaws set! Anyway, we have the funny Jeffannie sequence, but it's a fun episode if you focus on Jeff and Britta, too.

S2 E22 Applied Anthropology and Culinary Arts: Not a lot of Jeffbritta, but still, fun and cute interactions.

Season 3

S3 E6 Advanced Gay: I love this episode so much, it's so ridiculous at so many levels. Also, Britta adressing Jeff's daddy issues is always fun.

S3 E11 Urban Matrimony and the Sandwich Arts: One of the many times Jeff and Britta almost get married.

S3 E12 Contemporary Impressionists: This is one of my favorites of all the show. It's so funny seeing Jeff be... whatever this is

S3 E21 The First Chang Dynasty: GothJeffandBrittaGothJeffandBritta

Season 4

It's amazing how many Jeffbritta moments the gas leak season gave us.

S4 E2 Paranormal Parentage: Again, Britta with Jeff's daddy issues.

S4 E5 Cooperative Escapism in Familial Relations: Britta helping Jeff is heartwarming. SHE'S SO PROUD OF HIM YOU GUYS. Also, them in cars. You can never have enough Jeff and Britta in cars.

S4 E8 Herstory of Dance: This is also an episode I really like. Jeff and Britta are adorable in this one.

S4 E10 Intro to Knots: Greendale parents.

S4 E12 Heroic Origins: GUYS LOOK THEY MET EACH OTHER BEFORE

Season 5

I love the Jeffbritta episodes here, but at the same time... it's so cruel that they made all this build-up just for a Jeffannie ending. It's like they WANTED to make us suffer. Fuck you, Dan Harmon.

Meela stared into the flowing red river before kneeling on the grassy bank to sulk. The red colored water rushing by her looked like blood. There were so many red rivers on the planet that they'd looked like veins on its surface to Meela when the star cruiser she'd traveled in approached it earlier.

Now that she was here, she wished that someone had told her to throw herself in the river. Her nurse had only told her to take a walk to calm her mind. It was a rare freedom for Meela. Probably her last.

Today was the day Meela had been preparing for her whole life. Later today she would be presented to the queen of this planet along with two other princesses from neighboring planets. The queen would then allow her sons to each choose the girl he wanted for his bride beginning with her oldest son, her heir.

It wasn't that Meela minded the arranged marriage. She was a princess after all and her duty was to her people. Her marriage to a Prince of Nelot, the strongest planet with the most powerful army in the system, would ensure the protection of her people. She'd been promised in marriage since her birth and all of her teachings were in preparation for fulfilling this obligation.

Meela accepted that.

But when she was sixteen, the Queen of Nelot, a sorceress she was to find out, paid a visit to Meela and her family on their home planet, Bano. She wanted to meet Meela, considering one day she would be the bride of one of her sons.

The queen was pleased with Meela. A little too pleased in fact. She explained to Meela's parents that their daughter was indeed beautiful, cultured and intelligent -- befitting a Princess of Nelot. But she felt those very virtues put Meela in danger from others and from herself until the wedding, so she placed an enchantment upon Meela. From that day forward, Meela would be obedient, would do whatever she was told, until her future husband arranged her release from the spell.

Her life had been misery ever since.

At first, Meela and her family didn't realize just what curse had been bestowed upon her. A few nights later Meela became angry at her father for not allowing her some privilege. She sat complaining in her rooms while her nurse brushed her hair. Finally her frustrated nurse told her to hold her tongue.

It had taken several hours for the entire family to discover that someone had to tell Meela to let go of her tongue before she could pry her fingers away.

It got worse. While her parents enjoyed their new power over Meela, the power to make her work at her studies longer and attend royal functions in their places, soon they learned there was a danger to the curse. Once, one of Meela's friends at court had dared her to kiss the handsome visiting ambassador from the planet Dalu. Unable to stop herself, she'd walked right up to the man and kissed him full on the mouth.

Her parents had been so alarmed by the turn of events that she was placed under the strictest watch until the time of her wedding. No more fun outings with her friends. No more boring royal functions even. Meela was only allowed to attend the most important celebrations on her planet, and then only for a short time with at least a dozen people watching her every movement. They might as well have locked her away in a prison.

Perhaps that is what the Queen of Nelot had intended when she'd placed the enchantment on her.

Years passed while the Princes of Nelot fought off one legion of intruders to their system after another, the stories of their glorious victories painting them as great warriors. By the time the Queen of Nelot sent for Meela for the bridal selection and subsequent wedding, she was twenty-seven, going out of her mind with boredom, and had taken to finding creative ways of watching the private activities of guests to the palace. It was as close as she had ever come to having sex after all.

And now that she was here on Nelot, ready to be selected by one of the queen's sons and do her duty for her parents and her people, she was pretty damned unhappy. Wasn't it enough of a sacrifice to have the person she'd spend her life with, share a bed with and have children for, chosen for her? Then to have the hateful curse of obedience placed on her, robbing her of her last years of freedom?

Meela no longer wanted to marry any son of the woman who had done this to her. Meela didn't even want to meet the princes.

"It's not fair," Meela grumbled at her reflection far below in the red water.

"What's not fair?"

That deep male voice alerted her to the fact that she was no longer alone. With as much composure as she could muster, Meela turned her head slowly. She was unescorted, without any of her attendants who understood her enchantment, for the first time since she had kissed the ambassador at court. The pace of her heartbeat grew along with her anxiety.

"That I can't stay and enjoy this beautiful view," Meela said in her best royal voice with her practiced princess smile.

Yet she forgot all about how she was to speak or smile as she gazed at the two men standing before her, their dress indicating that they were common soldiers of the planet. They looked very much alike, both tall men with bodies of steel, the snug black uniforms they wore revealing that they were all hard, firm muscles.

Zelena Mills

Like her sister, Zelena likes her books with a glass of wine - but her glass contains rosé. Zelena likes a story with a strong female lead, especially if they take a kingdom from a corrupt leader - maybe they find love along the way? I think she would have enjoyed Crown of Coral and Pearl by Mara Rutherford.

Ruby

Ruby listens to celebrity memoirs and biographies. She is currently halfway through Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard by Tom Felton. She usually prefers the ones by female comedians, they have a way of expressing things that she feels but could never quite describe as cleverly.

She has a lot of reference books around for drawing and illustrating graphic novels. She reads and writes graphic novels and is currently reading the Sandman comics.

Dorothy

Dorothy likes a good hometown, closed-door romance and the classics, she is carrying around her much-loved copy of Pride and Prejudice as she finishes her annual summer reread of it. It is fraying, has tabs sticking out, highlighted pages, and her thoughts scribbled in the margins; but, she can't bear to replace it.

Mulan

I think Mulan has a stack of what my mum would term 'serious' books. She has Forces of Nature by Professor Brian Cox, she has a pile of philosophy books and a stack of books on the art of silence and meditation. But, she has a beautifully illustrated edition of her favourite fairy tales from her childhood stashed in her nightstand that she reads on those days when the world feels a bit too much.

Lady Bell

Lady Bell is an avid Nora Roberts / JD Robb reader. Her favourite is, of course, the In Death series because Eve Dallas and Roarke feel like her close friends and she has the new ones (which Nora does like twice a year, which is insane and impressive) preordered. Every time one is released, Tink rereads the whole 50+ book series over again.

My TBR pile is a bit ridiculous at this point. It has gotten worse lately since I have paused reading books to focus on writing my CSSNS fic and making sure that I don't fall too far behind on my CS fic TBR list. (To my great shame, I haven't finished a book since returning from France earlier this year. This is the longest break in reading that I can recall ever having taken, but those CS fics are so good! So, so good!)

ANYWHOOSIES... I hope you find some in these recs that you enjoy. I am a sucker for a story. I would say the way I described Killian's reading habits most matches mine. I read by mood, which is directed by the weather, the time of year, my head space, my workload, my the kind of attention energy that I have, etc. I tend to read YA Fantasy/Romance, Fantasy/Romance, Paranormal Romance, Grimdark, Dark Romance, Rom-Coms, gothic horror... it is all over the place.

Reading Shades of Magic by the incredible VE Schwab always feels like coming home. (I was going to give you a favourites list but it got a bit out of control... even for me.)

Currently my favourite OC is Mitch Falvey, this teenagers truly got everything. He’s got a twin sister, he’s a party slut, he’s in love with his best friend of eleven years, he listens to Dolly Parton. I could go on and on.

He’s the best friend of the main character in my WIP that’s a Queer Horror/Slasher so truly we’re hoping for the best for him✌️

I have two OC’s I need/want to work more on! The first being Spencer Sloan, from the above mentioned WIP, she’s in the same friend group but I haven’t developed her background a lot but have a strong idea of her ambitious and go getter attitude, the other is from my long standing WIP called The Lamont Dissent, A paranormal/drama audio drama that’s been in my brain for Years. Her name is Ramona Crewe whose a Vampire who works as (essentially) a monster hunter with her wife, I have a lot of her current motives established but I’d love to be able to dig around in her past some more in a way that could be made relevant to the story

The character I have the most backstory and Lore for is Val Walsh from The Lamont Dissent, she’s an investigative journalist who goes missing which causes her son Jasper to search for the truth of her disappearance, among other things. But in my creation of her and the story/reasoning behind her disappearance ended up getting wildly out of hand and I have like a 6 page document of details about her that could end up leading to a prequel story about the events leading to the day of her disappearance.

Favorite Color: purple, I LOVE the deep, rich and silky look. It usually oscillates between blue and purple, but for the last 3 years it’s been strictly purple. I love winter, and those cold colours remind me of being cocooned in a blanket with a good book by the fire. 

Last Song: Adore You – Miley Cyrus, it’s been in my playlists for years, and it wobbles in and out of my favourites, but I’ve been listening to this one everyday for a few weeks now. 

Last Movie: Elemental!I’ve been waiting for whatever reason but I loved it. It’s beautiful and it made me feel, so I forced my friend to watch it! The scene where Ember changes colours with the crystals made me so happy, and it was a beautiful moment. The daughter-father relationship was my favourite part though. I also re-watched Pride and Prejudice, because I wanted to see that meadow scene again. 

Currently Watching: The Flash, it’s been on my watchlist for too long, and I am slowly trudging through, but enjoying the progress! I tend to watch things one at a time, simply because I obsess over things and do not have the capacity to obsess over multiple things. 

Other Stuff I Watched This Year: Vincenzo, Only Just Married, He Is Psychometric; all first time watches, and they are all extremely entertaining, and they balance charm with predictability very well. Merlin (BBC) yearly rewatch! I can’t help myself. I love those dorks. They bring me so much joy!

Shows I Dropped This Year: I have to admit, it takes a lot for me to start something. I have to know just enough that before I even start I am interested in those characters or the story. I usually start after knowing fan favourites and the basic memes. 

Currently Reading: The Myth of Normal – Gabor Maté,it’s a heavy read but infitnitely interesting, I find myself noting things down at least every two pages. It’s not a fun time per say, but it makes me think. The Paranormal Mermaid Trilogy – Anne Greenwood Brown, I started it again while camping, and just find myself enjoying thinking about mermaids! and big lakes. Love me some big lakes.

The Footloose Sensation

I have never seen Footloose, and after reading the plot page for it I'm like "oh my god I cannot believe this is a real movie based on a real town" so here's THREE IDEAS for you

Footloose the movie craze hits the North Pole. Shenanigans ensue

A hypothetical experiment goes wrong, and now everyone is dancing to the Footloose song and it's really getting in the way of the day's work tbh (or any song. Maybe it's like the SINGING episode of shows, but with DANCING. Jack's like MY TIME HAS COME and single-handedly navigates them all through the final dance number of footloose to break the dancing curse)

Paranormal Piracy

Well past her days of Piracy, Jacqueline finds herself in WAY over her head when a ship of ghost pirates kidnaps her, hoping the famous Bruexa de la Niege can help them navigate through and onto the perilous, once thought mythical, Endless Winter Island to find the supposed lost treasure that resides there that would surely set them up for the rest of their (after) lives.

Do they know they're dead? I am unsure at this time, but it is somehow FUNNIER if they DON'T. I know for certain though that Jacqueline very much thinks the entire time, holy snowballs, I hope this treasure is real so that when they find it they can move on to the Great Beyond and I can go back to bed.

The Golden Ticket

A teleporting mishap lands teeny-bopper Jacqueline in a secret room of the family home. A secret room that is a treasure trove of magical knowledge. For the briefest of moments, she has her brother back.

Four Eyes

Fino's magic school frenemy gets glasses. Everyone teases the poor orc until he snaps and accidentally makes a magical beast with four eyes that attacks EVERYONE. He and Fino team up to stop the magical beast, and put some bullies in their place!

The Shortest Day of the Year

Winter sleeps through her own birthday 🤦🏻��♀️.

People keep trying to talk to her. Blaise has to fend off a LOT of people to make sure she gets her rest! winter wakes up, realizes she slept through the entire day, shrugs and goes "Well, I've had thousands of birthdays, and there's plenty more to come, I'm sure." Meanwhile, her hubby looks like he has fought a whole entire second and third war while she slept.

SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG! Meant to post yesterday but got distracted by errands, and today we tackled the Fear Ladder I created to get over a new fear of driving on the highway thanks to the dealer comparing my car to a sick PUPPY that needs to be put down--and yes, they said puppy. IT'S BEEN. AN EXPERIENCE, THIS WEEK! DON'T GO TO DEALERSHIPS IF U CAN AVOID IT. FIND URSELF A GOOD MECHANIC THAT WON'T TUG AT UR HEARTSTRINGS WITH PUPPY METAPHORS.

But yes things are going okay and I think I've got the wedding invites almost ready to go which is a RELIEF ANYWAY, YOU DID NOT ASK FOR MY WEEKEND LIFE STORY AND YET. MY MOUTH IS A MOTORING. AS PROMISED, MUSINGS:

I got stuck on the golden ticket one and had to do a think and a half, lmao, but then it popped into my head yesterday before bed and I was like "oh god the angst. the hurt comfort. holy fuck."

I may actually write some of these up??? ANYWAY the musings I promised:

please someone ask me about Fino's orcish rival I am BEGGING i could go ON (I say that now but in the event someone asked I think I'd be like ... uhh. he exists??? but i love him even tho he is a hazy concept)

y'all don't even KNOW my brain has been PLAGUED with thoughts of Frost kiddos and their SOs, specifically the twins

i have no idea if there is a dance number in footloose, but given the titular song i have to believe there is, y'know? and I HAVE to believe Jack knows it and to defeat the dancing curse they gotta reproduce the number PERFECTLY. Jack's like "MY TIME HAS COME"

Fino and Fiera get HELLA DISTRACTED at the mall and it is chaotic as FUCK. Fino walks by an electronics store and is like "I am going to fiddle and click every button". Fiera keeps running into the little like, hallmark esque shops like "is it magic or not" and BOTH kids meet their doom with clothing, oh my god. they didn't even KNOW they liked nice clothes until the moment they lay eyes on the pretty dress shop! Shame ordibeing clothing isn't usually fireproof ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

anyway they 100% get banned, 3 fire trucks and several casualties later

AND to tug at ur heartstrings: I realized that once Jacqueline found Jack's secret library, she had like ALL of his magical knowledge at her disposal and could KEEP TRAINING PAST THE WINTER MASTERY WINTER KNEW?! So now when she says "I learnt from the best!" she truly does mean it bc even tho he wasn't there she STILL learnt from him

and u bet ur ass when they reunite and he picks up that she learnt from his shit Jack's like "cool! ur form is sloppy and that's not being done right" and helps her refine her skills, yo

Hey Horror Fiends 💕

My name is Rachel and earlier this month I started a website to provide weekly movie reviews on old, new, and niche films within the horror and slasher genres. It's something I've wanted to do for a very long time and I'm so happy to finally be receiving the support I need to make it a reality.

Oh yes. We form a good chunk of ourselves when we're young through observation. You grow up and you can see the ways in which you often mirror your parents, it's crazy.

I get that though. Somedays when I wanna read I get through like a few pages and I fall asleep. Or I'm just not in the mental space to read even though reading is my absolute fav thing to do. Maybe you'll find a better time to read if you wanted to, someday, y'know?

Ahhh okay this is a reminder to send pictures of your cats! One of them is a Persian-angora mix and the other is a lil tuxedo cat. They are lowkey enemies even though it's much better than it used to be but you're never gonna catch them becoming friends :((

Stop I love supernatural/paranormal stuff! It's endlessly fascinating to me and I honestly should be delving into it deeper but I often feel like I've too many things I wanna do and too little time. Those are all such cool interests! Umm I love love love psychology. Quite passionate about writing, I suppose. Spirituality. Ooh and space!!

Ahh I've always wanted to play the guitar! Even had bought one but never got around to it rip. Cross stitching, that's pretty cool!! Used to cross stitch a tiny bit. And I kinda wish I had gotten like, art classes of some sort bc I do paint but I've zero training and I'd love some. If I could sketch?? I'd be untouchable. And learning any musical instrument really.

i’m so glad we share that same love for the supernatural/paranormal. it’s just an endless pit of knowledge and intrigue. i can never get enough of it. oooo psychology is a good one. if i had taken one more psych course in undergrad i would’ve minored in psychology which is funny bc all i did was take those classes as electives bc i was interested in them. what’s your favorite interest in psychology? criminal psychology and abnormal psychology are two of mine 👁 and spiritually and space!!!!! yes i also love both of those as well. i used to be a huge space buff when i was younger ✨

playing an instrument takes so much dedication and motivation. two things i did not have growing up lmao i love that you bought a guitar but never played it. very big me energy djdkdkd i had to sell my keyboard bc of the same exact reason years ago. painting would be a dream to be talented in. any type of art actually, but yeah painting would be super cool. the power one holds with a paintbrush astonishes me sometimes ❤️‍🩹

hmmm i think one of my fondest memories is when i went to my first concert. 10 years old going to see hannah montana and the jonas brothers. it’s what turned me on to music and live music as a whole. never stopped breathing it since then 👐🏼 how about you? what’s one of your fondest memories? x

Thankfully I have not encountered any paranormal activity 🤞🏻😂 still working on that bio lab report and it’s currently 9:20pm so I’m gonna try and continue it now and hopefully finish it before going to bed so then I’ll have Friday-Tuesday to study for quantitative chem!!! But I feel like I might not finish the lab report I hate these lab reports like why can’t we just submit very basic information like why do we have to make all these tables and what not 😭 btw the table is 3 pages long😰💕
