Loyal only to those close to him, everyone else can step off. Attempts at being charming just come off a bit dick-ish but really, someone just save him from himself. ?

"It is true. Indeed -- I find you most intolerable!" His voice booms through the rainstorm, cutting through the wind. A heightened volume that wouldn't be appropriate, inside the Wright family's estate. But out here, in the wild? They could have their latest argument out, without worrying about civility. Was it about his politics? Their inability to look favorably upon him? Realy, he forgets now. Alistair is a calm man, of pragmatic ways and sharp intellect. Around them, however, he's undone. Knots in his stomach, sweat in his palms. The Lord believed it to be loathing. So thoroughly convinced, he'd speak it to anyone who would listen. He would damn them seven days to Sunday!

But if he loathed them so, they why did his eyes find them in every room?

vinny was listening… kind of. the more she went on about how he was bad at his job—a job he didn’t even want, since his father insisted he earn his own wage for a while to stop being such a monello all the time—the less he was comprehending. it was clear she was expecting some sort of response, so vinny swallowed dryly and tried to form a coherent thought: “uh huh.” he replied non-committedly, too focused on watching the color rise in her cheeks. “no, no, you’re… right. i’m, ah, so bad at this. you’re right. totally.” truthfully, for reasons he couldn’t understand, he didn’t mind if she kept yelling at him all night.

Heyo! 25 year old female writer here. I’m eighteen plus so please please please ensure you are before writing to me! Now about me, I do work but on a part time basis, quick fire would be nice but I can’t always be here. So you may see me post more depending on what ideas I’ve got and what cravings I have. But with my time off you can guarantee I’ll be posting more! I do prefer discord to conduct roleplays purely for the purpose of being able to keep things more organised! To make you aware I have finished the series and would like my partners to have a good understanding of the verse!

So I’m looking for those of you who can use third person, past tense and lots of detail. I say this not to be mean but because I do consider myself to be advanced literate, I expect potential partners to be the same! I’m looking for oc (me) x male canon characters from the above movies but I will enclose further fandoms and movies with in the post! I use third and past tense and would be grateful if you do too! Please note I do have dyslexia.

I’d love to get some aus going as well as some love triangles. Doubles are welcome! But please note ALL my roleplays are doubles. I will be prioritising those of you who don’t want to double and are happy to play canons. I’m just getting to a point where doubles feel transactional, I’d like to do something for myself where I can :). I’m not fussy with pairings I basically pair with any of the high fae and Illyrians aha. I have multiple ocs I’ve been working on for this verse and would love the opportunity to try them out. The characters I would be searching for are: Lucien, Rhysand, Cassian, Tam and Az. At a push I could do Tarquin my only concern with him is plot opportunity. I’d kill for a well written Cassian right now, ideally with someone who has read the fifth book.

I’d love our roleplay to be something of comfort to us both. Something to cheer us up and keep us engaged in the story! Ok the problem is that I know that my MADD is not a healthy coping mechanism, but I also have no idea how I would survive without it? Like I live in an abusive home. Last night I was trying to sleep but then my abuser started a screaming rage at somebody else. Was absolutely terrified/about to have a panic attack but if i did the rage would be directed towards me. So I imagined my paracosm foster dad standing guard at my bedroom door and telling me not to worry and to go to sleep because he'd keep me safe. And I was able to stay calm. So like...what else am I supposed to do but daydream?

open to: m/f/anyone plot: Edgar is a prolific & famous thief who has stolen some things from y/m. Finally, after a long game of cat & mouse, y/m has caught Edgar. I was thinking period/historical fantasy vibes but I could go modern too. Edgar grunted and struggled against the guards that hauled him to his feet, his heart raced in his chest and he gasped down a few breaths before his dark gaze found the others. So, they had finally caught him? He couldn’t stop the way his eyes lit with some admiration alongside the mischief that always seemed to surround him. This little game of theirs had lasted quite a while and Edgar would be lying if he said he wasn’t impressed they had finally caught him. No one else had been able to catch the self-proclaimed king of thieves and they did send his pulse lurching more in his chest than anyone else. He was glad it had been them but he certainly wouldn’t have admitted it.

“Well, you’re looking as gorgeous as ever,” he complimented, grin growing wider before he was jostled by the guard on his left and he couldn’t stop the breath of amusement that left his lungs. “–if you wanted to see me so bad, you could have just said so.” He teased further, though his former statement was certainly not a missed opportunity to flirt. The thief was a lot of things and annoyingly-charming was at the top of that list. No matter the situation, no matter what sort of peril awaited him, Edgar could always find the time to flirt. If he could do that then it made things feel less daunting.

Even though he knew he wasn’t getting away any time soon, Ed struggled slightly against the guard on his left again, the one who had shoved him slightly when he’d spoken. The guard grunted as Edgar shoved against him and the action only caused the man to hold on tighter to the thief and Edgar huffed with annoyance before returning his gaze to the other, arching a brow expectantly. Would they punish him directly? Or would they throw him away in some dark room to rot for a while, think over the bad things he’d done before enacting some further punishment? Edgar was amused by the curiosity when he should have been a little more concerned about his well-being.
