Expressing their concern about preserving LA culture Southern California-based @ElPolloLoco says "Los Angeles is the mural capital of the world, yet sixty percent of Los Angeles’ murals are disappearing due to gentrification." In early March, 2020 the company unveiled a new work by renowned Mexican artist Paola Delfin at its store on E Olympic and Atlantic Blvds in East Los Angeles. Applying her unique ability to mesh empty wall spaces with organic forms, fluid lines, and beautiful monochromatic portraits, El Pollo Loco says Delfin's work "has special significance because it is a portrait of the children and grandchildren of our employees who work in this restaurant. We wanted to honor them because every day they honor us."  @paola_delfin/

Born in Mexico City, Paola Delfin always had a pencil and paper in her hands. Today she's added brushes and spray cans to her tool box but her love of drawing shines through in everything she does. Influenced by illustration and organic forms Delfin's favorite topic is exploring female beauty and sensibility and @UrbanNation_Berlin says when it comes to sharing those ideas "she is a master when it comes to visualizing whatever is in her head."
