I'm not in the habit of posting every sketch I ever make (and I haven't been drawing much in the time I've been gone unfortunately) but I figured it would be good to include some status updates and changes:

It turns out trying to drawing at work stresses me out a lot, and trying to continue my daily drawing habit through adjusting to work really did some damage to my relationship with my art. I was already hitting an art slump right before that so that didn't help much at all.

I started developing some bad art habits recently so I've been carefully studying my way out of that and reassessing (drawing lots of boxes) and trying to take less shortcuts. It's working out so far!

Patch note for Emett, the kobold: a chronic pain/fatigue-related disability has been added to her backstory, along with more backstory and some tune-ups. More on that later.

I've been working more on worldbuilding lore and conlang, and drawing Panne a bunch. Having writing projects has really been what's been saving me at work, since drawing there isn't really an option for me.

Orbquest: Lowen has reached 100 orbs! I started around 40 orbs when I decided to embark on this journey for the cavalier of my dreams.

Here are a few details to how I'm going about saving up for Lowen's eventual arrival in Askr:

- Very casual, free-to-play collection. Daily orbs, basic quests, and monthly quest refreshes will be the bulk of how I save.

- I have a *huge* backlog of story and paralogue chapters I need to clear. We're talking easily 200+ maps.

- I'm letting myself redeem free summons on new banners and gleefully using any summoning tickets in order to keep myself sane.

- I currently have no characters that are tempting me too badly. I have my 2 favorites +10'd (NY!Panne and Lapis). Seeing characters like Velouria and those great Sonya alts pop up can be tough, but they're all pretty low-merge and the investment would take a ton, I will remain steadfast for my boy.

I'll update occasionally but I promise not to spam these tags too much! This is about as casual a quest as it gets, but my relationship with this game isn't as serious as I took it in the past. I still have fun with it and I hope anyone checking this out gets the unit of their dreams someday soon!

re: ktkkers--i speak relatively decent Korean and this is what I've noticed as far as Korean tkkers go. there are a handful of delusional ones left, of course there are, but most ktkkers are very casual shippers. they're into the visual of two hot guys banging and to squeal at their cute moments, and that's it. there was an entire thread of ktkkers on pann admitting last year that they either fell out of the fandom after tae's famous weverse post, or they turned to casual shipping. i imagine there was a similar exodus after taennie in paris. if you look at the bigger ktkker accts that are truly delulu, a lot of them interact mostly and are followed mostly by i-tkkers who continue to platform them because they think anything written in Korean about tkk is word of law (and to be fair, i-jkkers tend to do this too).

searching their ship names on kkt open talk, which is where a lot of chatting happens outside of twt, will show you the difference in volume. the largest jkk group chat, which needs a special jkk-related password to get into, has 400+ members and is fairly active with people talking about fic, cute moments, etc, on a daily basis. the jkk pic chat (basically no text is allowed, only pics, gifs, and videos of jikook) has 500+ members. by contrast, there are only a handful of tkk group chats and even the largest password protected one (which is also a pics/video only chat) barely exceeds 100 members. the volume just isn't there on the k-side to the same extent that it used to be. the sad part is that the k-tkker pic chat has a ton of likes, which means that at one point they did have a stronger membership, but their numbers have drastically dwindled since then.

Who's the Most Likely, Least Likely, or Maybe Parent (Mother and Father) for each Morgan (Male and Female) based on Classes, looks, supports, and/or mannerisms?

Most Child units inherit the hair color from their fathers (with the exception of Female Morgan, who inherited her mother's hair color, and Lucina). But some parents are more fitting for some child units then others based on Classes, looks, supports, mannerisms, etc. I'm not looking for who would make the kid stronger. Just a parent who would make sense for the Child Units.

Each Morgan has a slightly different personality. Here we will go through 3 categories. Male, Female, and what both have regardless of their gender.

Female Morgan

1.) Female Morgan's Class in Future Past 2 is a Wyvern Lord While it could be from Male Robin due to his large class sets, it also could be from either Sully, Cherche, Panne, Nowi, Say'ri, Tiki, or Aversa. In Fire Emblem Heroes, Female Morgan is like a combination of the Tactician and Dark Flier (she even rides a Pegasus). So the Dark Flier part could be from Lissa, Sumia, Maribelle, Cordelia, Olivia, Say'ri, Emmeryn, or Aversa. But it could be from Male Robin.

2.) Female Morgan looks similar to Sumia. But then again…. (see: section 3 in the category Both Morgans)

3.) One of the things that makes her more different than Male Morgan is that, while they are both cheerful, Female Morgan has more…. energy compared to him (like if she's given an extra dose of sugar). Which would make both Lissa, Cynthia and Nowi more fitting to be her mother. (See section 1 in category Both Morgans. There's a slight difference between Energetic and Cheerful)

4.) Female Morgan is also a bit of a prankster, as shown in a Hot Spring Scramble talk with Cynthia, where they plan on pranking the people who want to go into the hot springs. Which might be inherited from Lissa or Maribelle (Maribelle told Brady that her husband does a daily tea ritual is just a prank. See Brady's support with any of his fathers). But then again it could be from Male Robin since he did play a bit of a prank on Maribelle by teaching her "The slang of the unwashed lowborn common folk".

5.) Tiki, hints that Robin is a similar person to the hero king Marth, who married the pegasus rider Caeda who is often liked with Sumia as the recurrent love interest of the lord. With Male Robin being similar to Marth in personality, instead of Marth direct descendent Chrom (who Tiki hints is similar to his ancestral Sigurd, who married Deirdre, despite not knowing one another long after a chance encounter. Which could make Chrom and Olivia's marriage a reference to the pairing.), Male Robin and Sumia's marriage could be a reference to the pairing.

(?) Female Morgan is shown to be insensitive. Maribelle also came across as well. See Maribelle's C Support with Male Robin.

(?) We know in Female Morgan's supports with Yarne, she acts rather roughly to him, in their S Rank it's because she wanted his attention. Lissa's S Support with Male Robin has her admit to him she's pranking him to get his attention.

(?) We know one of the things that make both Male Robin and Female Morgan similar to each other are their amnesia. But one can also say that it also makes Morgan similar to Emmeryn too.

Male Morgan

1.) Remember in Chrom's B Support when he walks in on Female Robin (Avatar) naked. Male Morgan walks in on a bathing Kjelle in their S Support, so he could've gotten it from him. However, In Female Robin's A support with Chrom she walks in on him naked. She also does it to Gaius and Say'ri.

2.) Male Morgan's Class in Future Past 1 is a Sorcerer While it could be from Female Robin due to her large class sets, It could also be from either Libra, Henry, or Gangrel.

3.) Male Morgan Looks similar to Henry. But then again… (see: section 3 in the category Both Morgans)

4.) Male Morgan likes bugs, revealed in all his supports with Noire and in his C-Support with Lucina if she's his sister. Lon'qu likes bugs, In Summer Scramble DLC, he reveals to Gaius that he liked to catch them as a kid and finds them fascinating. Lissa also catches him catching butterflies in one of their support conversations. So liking bugs could come from Lon'qu. Maybe Henry since Henry likes animals (plus he can talk to insects). However, Male Morgan has exceptions, cockroaches and giant fire-breathing scorpions

5.) While Male Morgan is still cheerful, he's a lot more mellow and nicer compared to Female Morgan (not that she's intentionally mean per say, just has poor social skills. She has her own nice moments. One of the examples of her Hot Spring Scramble talk with Severa where she listens to her woes and gives her advice.). His niceness stands out, which makes him similar to Stahl, Kellam, Libra, Henry (Henry does like helping people, he just has a completely misguided and rather unorthodox way in doing it.), Donnel, and Chrom but it could be something he inherited from Female Robin.

6.) Despite Male Morgan claiming that he does not remember Lucina in his recruitment conversation with Chrom or Robin, in his sibling support conversation with Lucina, Morgan has memories of her wielding the Falchion in the future. Which is a direct contradiction of his whole 'can only remember my mom' thing.

(?) In Fire Emblem Heroes, Male Morgan's artwork depicts him in the Tactician class wielding Grima's Truth. Tactician classes in Awakening can't use dark magic, Only Dark mages and Sorcerers can. While Male Morgan could've been taught by a father who has dark magic or has the option to change into a Dark mages and Sorcerers class, it could also be from Female Robin's Various classes.

Both Morgans

1.) Morgan is genuinely cheery, upbeat and smiles a lot. Like Henry, Gregor, Anna, Owain, Inigo, and Gangrel (see his support with Female Robin).

2.) Morgan can be ditzy. Could be from Donnel or Sumia. But Robin does have their moments of being Ditzy. For example, see Female Robin's B support with Lon'qu.

3.) Physically, they are both based on the body type 2 for Robin. You can say that Morgan looks like the opposite gender version of Robin when they were younger (if you see Robin's body type 2 as what body type 1 Robin would look like if they were younger).

4.) Both Morgan's greatest dream is to become a master tactician like Robin. Robin mentioned in their support that Morgan will surpass them. Its VERY obvious they got that from their parent but you could say they also got it from Laurent (In the future, Laurent was the tactician of the future kids), Severa (In her supports with Male Robin and in her B Support with Yarne, she's a decent strategist), or Virion (He plays chess which is considered a strategy game and He beats Robin at a strategy game in their supports). Maybe Miriel too, I mean while we don't see her engage in battle tactics, she's always analyzing something or other which is a trait necessary for a Tactician. Maybe Ricken since I'm pretty sure being studious is another necessary trait for a Tactician (and we know Morgan studies a lot in order to be a good tactician.).

(?) Those who saw that I didn't mention the second generation as a possible parent for both Morgans based on Classes is because it gets complicated due to the fact that A.) Robin has a huge class sets and B.) It depends on who fathered (or in Lucina's case mothered) the specific second generation so that they can pass down a class to Morgan.

(?) I don't think anyone in the Second Generation is most likely to be Both Morgan's parent because they exist in Future Past, so would the Robin there have Morgan (who is a little younger then the kids) with one of the Second Generation?

Who do you think is the child's units mostly likely, maybe, and least likely parents based on Classes, looks, supports, mannerisms, etc?

I'm not sure if I got everything. There's always a chance I'm missing something but I'm willing to listen to any input and reasons why you think whatever Mother or Father is suitable for each Morgans.

This is the last one, now I'm finished with "Fire Emblem Awakening: Who's the Most Likely, Least Likely, or Maybe Fathers or Mothers For Each Child Units based on Classes, Looks, Supports, and/or Mannerisms?".

The last ones means which character ending (single or paired) has the character accomplish their goals. Because in some paired endings it seem like it's happy for one of the two characters instead of both of them. I've give you two examples: 1.) Most of Bernadetta's endings end up with her still being reclusive while a very few have her heal from that. 2.) Ingrid is a complicated case, her dream is to be a Knight but at the same time the County of Galatea's (the domain of her family) suffers from poor conditions for agriculture so Ingrid might have to marry in order to aid her land. It seems like she has to choose one over the other.

today i was shocked to see someone call dy's donation insincere, that he apparently used it as a cover up for the ilbe "controversy" that he and haechan got into (and that dy himself adamantly denied). in all my years of being a fan of his, dy has never given me a reason to doubt that he's a decent person, and he definitely seems to think a lot about what it means to be one, but i can also see how he can come off as calculating, being quite clearly smarter than average and very image-conscious. in general i don't think charity like this comes from a dishonest place so i was surprised someone would think that, and it made me think about how easy it is to make an action - no matter good or bad - fit into whatever your preconceived idea of a person is, especially for people u dislike. that's the price dy has to pay for popularity, i guess.

The size of the donation and the ilbe accusation are very disproportional. Even without knowing Doyoung's character, it is evident, that the anti was reaching. Doyoung gets accusatory posts on Pann daily.

Doyoung is calculating and he is manipulative, but these are not his core traits. Donations come from the same place as him bringing Japanese snacks for his dongsaengs back in 2016. Or buying newer Rookies he is not even close to, before the shooting of content together, fried chicken because he craved such food when he himself was a trainee.

People react emotionally, they react quickly without pondering and thinking, they rationalise their emotions.

I dislike this person (he takes away lines in songs from my bias; I'm poor and he has it all; he looks ugly to mr, why is he popular?) therefore he is bad. A bad person won't do a sincere donation. There was a rumour about him? That's it! He did it as a cover up and a distraction.

Please don't dwell on antis like that. You also try to rationalise and find a reason in Doyoung. He is so good, why is he disliked? Is it because he comes off as calculating? Is it because he doesn't fit the beauty standarts and his voice isn't remarkable? Is there something I don't know about him? Some bad actions in the past that were hidden by SM and his stans, but knets remember?

And don't be afraid to raise your own voice. Minorities often have their way because the majority is silent, their opinion isn't heard.

People like to delegate thinking and finding answers to others. They wake up, see a new alarming information and look for the exsisting opinions and explanations from "the experts" or "the people". And simply take the most pushed narrative as the answer, get satisfied and go continue their daily life.

Around a week ago, Jin shared some new photos from the daily life of his military service as a Corporal and a Training Assistant. However, the pictures still remain as a hot topic on Korean social media. This week started with Jin going viral on Korean Twitter.

Jin has already melted the hearts of TheQoo, Pann, Nate, and Naver users last week. But On July 31, his pictures went viral among Korean Twitter users as well!

Right now, there are hundreds of tweets with Jin's photos that are gaining huge engagement by Korean locals and some even crossed 2M views. The public is amazed by Jin looks in his natural beauty, right after finishing a 20km march. Quotes are saying that he's very handsome and praising him.

COMEDY AND CUPID?

Dear readers, it seems that our city's most tasteless comic has found herself a man.

That's right. Mrs. Maisel - she of the unfunny punchline and former burlesque MC duties, now currently in-house comic for Gordon Ford - has found a new romance with one Lenny Bruce. They were spotted walking hand-in-hand in Midtown a few nights ago, and even sharing what looked to be a rather steamy embrace.

Are we really surprised? Mrs. Maisel got her start opening for Bruce at the Gaslight when Sophie Lennon had tried to blackball her from the local clubs (a valiant endeavor). They've been popping up at each other's shows for a number of years at this point. It was only a matter of time before the relationship went public.

With her shiny new television spot and his run at Carnegie Hall followed by his Chicago charges being dropped, it's no wonder the two are now being a little less conspicuous about a relationship that has likely being going on for a while.

So what does this all mean?

Likely that she truly did get her start by opening for Bruce in a number of different ways. Certainly that comedy for Maisel has been a mere husband hunt.

And seemingly, she's found one.

Good for you, Mrs. Maisel. May you remarry, and go back to your Jell-O molds, never to grace our comedy clubs again.

The New Feminine School of Comedy, Jewishness and the Art of Minding One's Own Business

I suppose I can press pause on my history of comedy and the modern sense of humor series to address some things. Right? That's allowed. Sure.

Yes, I am seeing a very funny lady that I have known for a number of years. We have been friends for a while, and things have progressed into romance. They do that from time to time. It's fairly common actually, for consenting adults to one day look at someone they like or admire or even care for and think "Oh. It's you."

It even happens to us celebrities.

Let's get down to it:

Right.

This paper has printed quite a few articles about how unfunny Midge Maisel is. Her humor is not for everyone, I suppose. It's very feminine, which is a brand of comedy a lot of people just aren't used to yet. It's a new concept for women to go on stage at a smoky club and talk the way men do about their lives. Men have done it for decades, of course, but women are expected to stay in their home kitchens (god forbid they set foot in professional ones, right?), raise their children and die shortly after their husbands do.

But Midge Maisel decided to do something different with the very real pain of being left by a self-centered husband with two children and no job.

She got on a stage and she talked about how much it stinks.

How dare she! Trying things that men do. What nerve. What gall.

Maisel's brand of humor is also very Jewish. She is a Jewish woman who was raised in a Jewish community who is raising her own children in a Jewish community. And I wonder if these hit pieces that the Daily News sees fit to print are veiled attempts at antisemitism. It certainly feels that way sometimes. We are, after all, very easy targets. I bet you can find a few nice old men in Argentina who can confirm that fact.

As a Jew myself, I can tell you that I am deeply aware when I read something that feels strange; when you know you are being singled out because you are Other. Some of these articles feel that way. It's unsettling.

In regards to my relationship with Midge Maisel, that's really no one's business but ours. I suppose if you must pass judgement on two divorced people making a go at something new, you may, but it won't change anything. She makes me laugh. She makes me very happy. I like to think I do those things for her. Ain't love grand?

As a point of order, this will be the only time I address my love life in these articles. Next time, I promise: none of you will have to bother reading anything like this again. Next time, I'll just call my lawyer.

He won't mind hearing from me for a sixth time this week. We've become pals, you know?
