Raffle and fundraiser for a Gazan family!

I am part of a group of friends, fundraising for our dear Gazan friend's family. With Tumblr's support, they raised just enough to pay border guards and leave through Rafah for Egypt! They need a remaining £11k for urgent medical expenses : diabetes, arthiritis, and gynae surgeries. The youngest one (13 years) needs schooling and therapy. The family needs rent money while they settle temporarily in Egypt.

I encourage all of my followers to go through the #palestinefundraiser tag and donate at least $5 to 4 different ones per paycheck. I know that we're all broke here but if we each do it, we can make a big difference.

I have been posting every ask that comes through my inbox. I ,of course, would encourage you to donate to the people who have reached out to me first but gazafunds.com and spreadsheets that people compile are also a good resource.

If you are able to donate hundreds at a time, than absolutely do but there is no such thing as a too small donation. Donating what you actually can and continuing to do so is way more important at this point.

The war has destroyed our lives, we are living in a worn-out tent, facing hunger, cold, and illness.💔

My baby Yaseen is suffering from severe infections, and my elderly mother-in-law can no longer walk after a coma caused by anemia.😥

Our health is deteriorating, and the bombings do not stop; we have already lost many of our relatives and loved ones.😢💔

All I ask for is a chance to save my family. We urgently need Blankets and clothes to keep us warm and buy a winter tent to protect us from the rain and cold, in addition to medicines for Yaseen and my mother-in-law, which cost $60 weekly. Please, help us as much as you can. 🙏🥺

Mohammed, a father of three sons: Wasim, Majid, and Yamen, lives with his family in Gaza, where the relentless war has ravaged their lives, turning every day into a struggle under the mercy of the sky, after losing their home and stability. No longer the father who could provide safety for his children, Mohammed now watches his world collapse around him, with a weight of helplessness pressing on his heart every day. They now reside in a modest tent in the Mawasi Khan Younis camp, where cold sands accompany their long nights, and all they find are harsh conditions and the isolation of despair.

Yamen, his youngest son, barely three years old, sleeps on the sand without a warm cover, waking up hungry, his small eyes bearing a sadness far beyond his years. Mohammed’s heart aches every time he sees him in pain, powerless to provide even the minimum comfort. As for Wasim and Majid, who once dreamed of going to school, they find their dreams fading away in a tent that holds only cold and hunger.

His wife, Noha, once his support, silently watches their children grow up without a childhood, feeling deep pain every time she looks at them, every time she sees fear in their eyes with the sounds of bombardment and the absence of safety. This war has taken everything from them—their safety, their dreams, even their basic dignity.
