Activists of @pal_action have occupied the roof of Teledyne Defence & Space that produces components for missiles and F-35 fighter jets used by the Israeli military in Gaza. Production has now been suspended due to this protest.

How can you help Gaza/Palestine in Israel? I know of the click-once-a-day donation site and the boycott list, but what else can someone do to help? Is there any groups, or anything you can do to participate in to help?

1. If you're an American, you need to call your Representatives, and not vote for either Democrats or Republicans, also knowing which senators etc the AIPAC (pro Israel org/lobby) funds might be helpful. The biggest political & military aid comes from the US & therefore the pressure should be the strongest by the allies there.

2. @/ Pal_action on twitter is an excellent account to follow & support. It takes actions to shut down Elbit systems, one of the major weapons manufacturing industries that supplies Israel weapons. It is mainly based in the UK, but they have activists in other parts of the world like Japan too.

3. Follow the BDS list of boycott. Boycott Disney, Starbucks & McDonald's as well. (Tho I understand that you're already doing that).

4. Uninstall/don't use Israeli apps. There are many apps like Fiverr & Wix that are Israeli & I think we should be boycotting those too if we could. (There's a list on my pinned post).

5. @/careforGaza on twitter is a non-profit charity in aid of helping the needy families of Palestine.

6. @/Mirna_elhelbawi on twitter provides e sims for Gaza/Palestine and Sudan.

7. Follow & support Electronic Intifada on YouTube and Twitter.

8. Following journalists on ground and non Palestinian investigative journalists helps too, spread their videos so more people are aware/up to date.

How can we do more for Palestine? 🧵

1. Pressure your country to invoke the genocide convention. Especially if it has already condemned Israel’s crimes publicly.

Boycotting needs to be consistent, to put pressure on companies and destroy the economy of Israel + its allies.

“No permitiremos que ninguna filial ponga en peligro la organización… Por favor, NO compartan sus propias declaraciones ni comenten sobre este asunto… Las filiales NO DEBEN firmar declaraciones públicas ni cartas abiertas sobre este ni ningún otro tema… Publicar contenido con el lema ‘Todos somos Acción Palestina’, que puede ser legal ahora, pero podría ser ilegal la semana que viene, pone en riesgo a sus miembros y seguidores”.

Comentario de Samidoun: Tras convertirse en el equivalente estadounidense/canadiense de esto, este es el memorando menos sorprendente que hemos visto. Lamentablemente, esto no tiene nada de especial: se trata del enfoque habitual de las grandes ONG occidentales imperialistas en materia de designaciones, proscripciones y prohibiciones políticas.

Se invierte una enorme cantidad de tiempo y energía en aislar a los grupos sujetos a estas medidas, e incluso en intentar hacerlo con la propia resistencia que lidera el movimiento, ya que también son designados y proscritos, con la aparente creencia de que esto les proporciona algún tipo de protección.

Abundan los consejos "sabios" e "inteligentes" sobre cómo nunca se debe: asistir a eventos internacionales si alguien o un grupo designado por EE. UU., Canadá, el Reino Unido o la UE estará allí; hablar con personas de dichos grupos, ya que podría tratarse de "coordinación"; hacer lo contrario es "poner a la gente en riesgo".

Incluso se organizan reuniones informativas sobre cómo gestionar el cumplimiento de la manera más eficiente, y se reclasifica esto como un servicio al movimiento. Olvídense de todos los consejos sobre cómo nunca se debe lamentar la pérdida de Yahya Sinwar, Ismail Haniyeh, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, y mucho menos de Mohammed Deif.

No se trata de distanciarse de aliados en un momento peligroso, cuando la prohibición de @Pal_action exige la organización de todos para luchar. Se trata de que, cada vez que la reacción es como la descrita, las potencias imperialistas aprenden que, sin duda, pueden salirse con la suya.

Si no nos unimos —de verdad, incluso con riesgos— para apoyar a quienes son blanco de ataques, y especialmente a @Pal_action y su liderazgo en la acción directa que resiste materialmente a la maquinaria de guerra sionista-imperialista, animamos al estado a que haga esto MÁS. Así que aprendamos la lección esta vez y actuemos.
