Hoooold on, I saw that pic of blue tree covered walls in the reblog chain of adults with fun home decor. Is that your wall?? I am OBSESSED, I need to know everything. Is it wallpaper?

Nope, it's a mural! I painted it myself :) Every room in the common areas of the house is going to be themed on a different setting from my books, and this is one of them (though it's from a book that hasn't been published yet, so WHOOPS lol)

Here's step one of the process, showing the awful salmon pink that the previous owners had painted it

And then it is slowly about adding layers and depth

And so on! It's not done, I'd like to add more details of animals and things in the forest, but I've been working on it for over a year at this point and I'd like to at least get my dining room tidied up a bit first LOL

but i am also building this giant fake tree to go in the corner which will further force the illusion of Depth in the room

And hanging loads of fake wisteria from the ceiling (also not finished)
