Scream Factory has revealed the specs for its Phantoms 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray, releasing on July 16. The 1988 sci-fi horror film is based on Dean Koontz’s 1983 novel of the same name.

Joe Chappelle (Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers) directs from a script by Koontz. Peter O'Toole, Rose McGowan, Joanna Going, Liev Schreiber, Ben Affleck, Nicky Katt, Clifton Powell, and Michael DeLorenzo star.

Phantoms has been newly scanned in 4K from the original camera negative, approved by Chappelle, with Dolby Vision. Special features are listed below.

an octoling working for the grizzco as a pirate, rescuing shipments of eggs from thieves looking to make a quick buck. What do you mean she's a thief too? He's just doing his job!! And pailey loves her job, she really does. Sure! Theres not much going on for her outside pirating. Friends are forged in the heat of battle and then vanish forever. Quota is met, the day rolls on. Pailey finds herself alone again. But it's the pirates life for she! And for she the life goes on. And on. And on...

- Carnation Carnival!!! Prince of two worlds! (He/Him)

An octoling (??) Prince, adopted as the son of DJ Octavio alongside two brothers (owned by my friends as their OCs!) Carnation isn't sure where he came from. All he knows is that the salmonids found him, one day. And in an act of good grace to their octarian allies, raised the boy to good strength and health, returning him to the octarians as a sign of goodwill. And now carnation has an axe to grind against the grizzco, and all those, be they groundworkers or idols, who sit idly by and watch his people suffer. And that includes going toe to toe with a former friend, turned pirate.

A jelly/inkling hybrid born to thrive in the splatlands, Rozoa would help out in the family fashion store as a kid. But she'd always find her attention wandering. To a store next door, full of weapons and explosives and this little fucking guy who couldn't get anything right. And rozoa thought to herself. "Yeah, but I can do better". And so she did!!! And she was promptly put on a watch list for the "tenta missle splash o matic" incident. Because Rozoa doesn't just think about those basic boring sheldon kits. She'll make you anything for the right price and enough imagination! With her backalley weaponsmith buddy, Spork Ikatako (a friends OC), Rozoa will sell you illegal weapons, get you arrested for illegal weapons and then subsequently break you out with illegal weapons for the funsies and the gunsies too! Suck it, Sheldumb!
