Pailette: Hey weed! What a sad bunch of items honestly, have you ever thought of, you know... Selling a medkit? A bandage or two? Like, come on! What even are these?

Dandy: Hm, an assortment of items that may be of use to you. Maybe if you bought something, your probability of survival would increase, and you wouldn't NEED a medkit.

Pailette: Big talk for someone who doesn't even help out fixing these ding dang machines, you just wanna make a profit out of this!

Dandy: Look. How about, if you buy something, you can have a discount on the next one. I'll even consider helping you extract for a few floors, great deal ay?

Pailette: *stares* ... Nahh, I think I'mma save.

This fabulous evening dress is from the 1927 Fall/Winter collection of Callot Soeurs. Made of silk net with metallic-thread embroidery, metal beads, plastic pailettes and sequins. The slip is of silk satin and silk net. From LACMA.

The pailettes are cut from the plastic strapping that secured some furniture packaging. They have a cool texture, but it's a surprisingly brittle material to work with- difficult to punch holes in without cracking!

My Dandy's World oc‼️‼️

Info:

Name: Pailette

Age: Adult

Pronouns: She/her

She was a main character before, and the owner of the store opposite from dandy's shop in game. Until an incident happened which lead to her handler going missing, and she was demoted to being another handler's background character.

In the past, Her store was a paint store (also could be a store for toon skins) but ever since her handler's disappearance, she couldn't handle all the work and competition by herself for too long (pun intended). Teana ( @artinhaler 's Toon oc) was her most regular customer.

Game mechanics:

Since she's not a main anymore, she has the basic 3 hearts and 1 ability. Her primary role would be a distractor, but she could also be a survivalist. Her ability works by highlighting a twisted and activating, any other twisteds that are near the target will also get effected.

Not sure I made her twisted description clear enough so lemme just tell ya. When she spots a toon, she'll throw a glob of ichor/paint at them, not causing damage but gives them slowness 2 for 3 seconds (has a 10 second cool down).

She got twisted from using "black paint" from Dandy, only to realise that it was Ichor once she'd already made a mess with it.

Trinket:

Pretty good for distractors really. My reason why a paint brush would give such effects is kinda silly, but bear with me 🥲. Imagine the toons just throwing paint on the floor and sliding around with less friction for the speed increase. And if you ask me, magenta paint wouldn't be the best color choice for sneaking around. Twisteds would definitely have that as a target.

Hai passato un Capodanno all’insegna dell’eleganza, come sempre, (aahahahahahah se avessi potuto sarei stato in pigiama) e ora senti il bisogno di ritrovare il tuo equilibrio quotidiano. Nel frattempo, a Paderno Dugnano, un gruppo di persone ha festeggiato il nuovo anno senza vestiti, con un "Capodanno" all’insegna della libertà più assoluta. (ecco questa è una cosa che avrei potuto fare, con lo spirito giusto... ma quello me lo sono bevuto tutto ). Un'immagine che fa sorridere, ma ti lascia perplesso: per te il fascino è nei dettagli scintillanti, nelle pailettes (si proprio nelle pailettes... in un altra vita diventerò queer e mi darò al buttanesimo) , nel colpo d’occhio che lascia tutti a bocca aperta (si, quando mi guardano di profilo li lascio a bocca aperta, soprattutto mia madre che rompe un giorno si e anche due). Oggi, però, la vera lezione sta proprio lì, mettiti a nudo e lascia che la tua luce interiore parli, anche quando le circostanze ti sembrano poco favorevoli. (okey okey, sto lavorando senza mutande, giuro... ma sono a casa, in pigiama)

Amore: non sempre serve brillare per impressionare, a volte basta togliersi la maschera (si sono fulminate le luci e la mia maschera è tutta nera... ho l'impressione di aver sbagliato qualcosa ma non so dove) Lavoro: attenzione a chi vuole spegnere la tua luce: scegli le battaglie giuste (l'enel ha minacciato il distacco, il mio direttore generale mi odia e il mio dirigente è un'idiota... va tutto bene, non ci sono problemi). Fortuna: come a un Capodanno fuori dal comune, qualcosa di inaspettato potrebbe lasciarti perplesso (mi ruberannno l'auto? il portafogli? una multa per eccesso di velocità? sarò colpito da un fulmine o da un meteorite?). Il consiglio del giorno: essere al centro dell'attenzione è bello, ma non a tutti i costi (ma se mi chiamano l'uomo invisibile?) Voto: 6 stridente (ma va a cagare... qui stiamo almeno a -2 e c'è che dice che la situazione non volgerà al meglio in breve tempo)
