My longest run ever. Completed the first ever @appalachianmountainclub #PAHighlandsTrail 50k+ with a good partner. Also some other s joined for sections and also just 1 way. This past weekend I've battled this plant clearing trails for @appalachianmountainclub #PAHighlandstrail and getting lost off-trail at Haycock Mountain. If we have to deal with Multiflora Rose as a problematic invasive species, then the least we can do is get something out of it.  Maybe I have to learn to drink rose hip tea is a conversation starter and may help more people to learn to appreciate nature and its extreme diversity. The new #railtrail is coming, the new #railtrail is coming.... Out scouting some trails today. NEW trail coming along. With the help of @appalachianmountainclub we cut a 2.5 mi loop as part of the #PAHighlandstrail Now to improve the trail we'll need some help to cut and lift some logs. As a #volunteer park and rec chairperson you get involved in some cool projects. In @RichlandTwp I'm working with @appalachianmountainclub to add 1.5 miles of wooded trail to a #railtrail This is part of #PAHighlandstrail in the #quakertown area. And will be a part of @thecircuittrails connecting to an 800mi #trailnetwork This project is thanks to funds being provided from #AMC #richland and #schuykillhighland grants Today we started to map out a wooded section. Will be looking for #volunteers to do some trail building in the near future.
