At the core of Marseille‘s defensive line, Leonardo Balerdi, a 25-year-old talent, has garnered significant attention from multiple clubs, with La Liga powerhouse Atletico Madrid notably leading the pack. Balerdi’s journey to Marseille commenced in July 2020 when he inked a year-long loan deal with an option for Olympique de Marseille to secure his services permanently for €15…

FC Barcelona VS Athletic Bilbao, go for Barca
Match Time: 6/24/2020 04:00 Wednesday(GMT+8)
Spanish La Liga -- FC Barcelona VS Athletic Bilbao
Livescore | Match Prediction & Tips| Asian Handicap Odds|Line-ups& H2H Stats
-----------------------------------
Barcelona will be looking to return to winning ways in Spain's top flight when they welcome Athletic Bilbao to Camp Nou on Tuesday evening. The reigning champions and current leaders were held to a goalless draw by Sevilla on Friday, while Athletic will enter the match off the back of a 1-0 victory over Real Betis on Saturday.
Match preview
Barca's lead at the top of the table currently stands at three points, but Real Madrid will have the chance to move level on points with the reigning champions when they face Real Sociedad on Sunday night. Quique Setien's side have been in good form since returning to action on June 13, beating Mallorca and Leganes in back-to-back games before claiming a point at the Estadio Ramon last time out. The games are coming thick and fast for Barca as they will face Athletic, Celta Vigo and Atletico Madrid before the end of the month, and it does not appear that Real Madrid's challenge is going to falter. Barca have the best home record in La Liga this term, winning 14 of their 15 matches, remaining unbeaten in the process, and there is no question that they will be the favourites to triumph on Tuesday night. Athletic recorded a 1-0 victory in the reverse match at San Mames earlier this season, though, and also picked up a point at Camp Nou last term. In fact, the Basque outfit are unbeaten in their last three league encounters with Barca, having also drawn their home league match with the Catalan giants during the 2018-19 season.
The visitors have picked up five points from their three matches since returning to action on June 14, following draws against Atletico Madrid and Eibar with a 1-0 success over Real Betis on Saturday night. Inigo Martinez scored the only goal of the match as Gaizka Garitano's side triumphed at the weekend, and the victory moved them into ninth position in the table. Athletic are currently 10 points off the top four but sit just six points behind fifth-placed Getafe at this stage, and there is no question that the club will have their eyes on a potential European spot. The Basque outfit have struggled on their travels this season, though, picking up just two victories from their 15 away fixtures, which is a concern as they head to the side with the best home record in the division.

Team News
Barca will again be without the services of Ousmane Dembele due to a long-term hamstring injury, while Sergi Roberto is likely to miss out once again with a rib problem. Frenkie de Jong should shake off a calf injury to start, though, and Setien is expected to shuffle his pack from the side that started Friday's clash at the Estadio Ramon. Antoine Griezmann and Arthur both featured off the bench against Julen Lopetegui's side but could now be included in the starting XI, while Ansu Fati is also pushing for a spot in the team. Luis Suarez played the full 90 minutes against Sevilla, but the Uruguay international could start on the bench against Athletic, having been out for an extended period following knee surgery.
As for Athletic, Yuri Berchiche is suspended due to the yellow card that he picked up against Betis last time out, which could open the door for Mikel Balenziaga to start at left-back. The bulk of the XI that started at the weekend are expected to once again take to the field, although Mikel Vesga is pushing for a spot in the middle of the park. Raul Garcia, Inaki Williams and Iker Muniain should all continue in the final third, while Inigo Cordoba is likely to keep his spot in a wide area.
Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Semedo, Pique, Lenglet, Alba; Arthur, Busquets, De Jong; Griezmann, Messi, Fati
Athletic possible starting lineup: Simon; Capa, Nunez, Martinez, Balenziaga; D Garcia, Vesga; Cordoba, Muniain, Williams; R Garcia
FC Barcelona VS Athletic Bilbao
Pick: FC Barcelona to win

Spanish football rumors/news
I can only know players/clubs that I follow
Nahikari is very close to sign a renewal contract with Real Sociedad for 2 more seasons, until June 2022, with an option to extend it. It’s true that she has offer from Atletico and she almost accepted it, but after the Copa de la Reina, seeing the love from her teammates and fans made her reconsider her decision. However, she wants to continue growing and playing with the best players out there so the club have discussed and agreed to invest more to their female side and show Nahikari the strong project they have to make her stay (their fans said that the club will receive 24m from Atletico because Griezmann’s gonna leave and they will use 2-3m to invest in their female club). After the friendly against Canada today, she will return to the club and make a final decision to close her future and go to the World Cup. We will hear from them then. Read here:
https://cadenaser.com/emisora/2019/05/23/radio_san_sebastian/1558616705_175347.html
Real Sociedad: there are strong rumors said that they have already signed Barbara Latorre, whose contract with Barca end this June, and they will announce the signing soon. Very good signing for them, skilled player, will help Nahikari a lot if she stay. Let see whether they will sign more players or not.
Levante: they want to sign Alba Redondo, a young promising midfielder from Albacete but there are few rumors about this so let see.
Atletico Madrid: they just renewed Laia Aleixandri (ex-Barca academy player...), absolutely stunning young centre-back, until 2022. Virginia Torrecilla will most likely sign for them, the matter is when will they announce her. With Jenni goes to Barca (85% sure about this), Nahikari close to sign a renewal contract, wonder who they will get to replace her. They also want to sign Andrine Hegerberg, who will leave PSG, but I think their midfield is already packed, and AC Milan seems to be ahead of them in this, you can read it here: https://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/football/psg-f-andrine-hegerberg-va-deja-quitter-le-club-1690864.html
Barcelona: they already announced the arrival of Hansen, a world-class player from Wolfsburg. If nothing wrong happens, Jenni will come soon. They renewed Leila and Melanie so I doubt Majri is an option for them since the main reason she want to leave Lyon is because she don’t want to play as a left-back, she want to play in Lieke Martens’s position but I think Lieke won’t leave (at least not until her contract expired) so maybe Majri is not coming, not this year? Barca also want to bring Andrea Falcon back from Atlético. Unknown future but most likely will leave are Gemma Gili Giner (rumors say she already accepted contract from other club), Toni Duggan, Andressa Alves, Andonova, Barbara Latorre and Oshoala (she's on loan at Barca tho); but rumors say that Barca are negotiating with Oshoala’s club in China to sign her permanently so you know, only time will answer.
Spanish players in these rumors might announce their future after the friendly with Canada today so they can have clear minds to go to the WC. Hopefully we will hear from them soon.

Milan 4 Dinamo Zagreb 0
Big game. Big win
Milan are firmly in second place in Group E in Champions League and will only need a draw vs Salzburg at the San Siro next week to stamp their ticket to the knockouts...the first time since playing Atletico Madrid during the 2013-14 season. But before that, Torino this weekend, and even before that, Milan x Dinamo Zagreb ratings...let's get started...
TATARUSANU 7 Was busy early with a lot of buildup by Dinamo and a few decent shots on goal but did his job and a clean sheet to boot
KALULU 7 Solid game and you could tell Pioli asked him to hang back. Whenever Milan got forward and Dinamo won the ball back and tried to go over the top it was usually Kalulu back there. And man, that cross from 30yds away in the first half to Giroud during the run of play...*chef's kiss*. Love this kid
KJÆR 7 Solid game and had a few decent long passes, which is one of his strengths particular with Tata in goal because, well, that is NOT one of his strengths...
GABBIA 8 Co-MOTM Solid all game and a perfectly timed run and perfectly timed dive and perfect header on a perfect ball from Tonali. Best dead ball play of the year for Milan
HERNÁNDEZ 7 Solid all around. That's it. That's all I got
TONALI 8 Co-MOTM Did everything well this game. Positioning, tackling, passing. And oh man. That cross on the dead ball that found Gabbia. Man. What a beaut. I shared this in the chat yesterday but as Ray Hudson said, "that was a shot glass dropped in a glass of beer at the other end of the bar". Yep. Pretty much
BENNACER 7 Solid. Just like Theo. Yeah
REBIĆ 7 Not perfect by any means, and probably...no, did cut in too much. But, BUT! You can see what quality wingers do to the attack when both are threats. CDK really should have taken advantage of this since the defense all of the sudden kept having to shift their gaze to each flank. Love the runs he made into the box but needs to balance that more with keeping the width and banging in crosses, particularly when the defense is packed in. It's one of his jobs out on the wing to keep the width and jeopardize the defense's lines
DE KETELAERE
GIROUD 7.5 One of his better games of the last month and has been money in the bank on PKs (I probably shouldn't jinx him, huh?...sh*t, I did already...I know I jinxed him. God damn it...). Oh, a few of you mentioned this in the chat yesterday: NO MORE FLICKS. Just receive, settle, and distribute Giroud. Come'on, man. Gotta keep that possesion
subs
KRUNIĆ 6.5 My favorite kind of Krunić. The kind we only see when Milan is up 2-0 and just need him to make tackles and break up the opponent's play
BALLO-TOURE 6 Was fine. Didn't do anything great but didn't bone the sofa cushion either. Yeah, I don't know what that means
POBEGA 6.5 Decent if unspectacular outing and almost had a goal
MESSIAS 6 More of a cameo. A winger coming in when you're up 4-0 doesn't leave much for them to do other than to track back and defend
ORIGI NA Didn't get enough for me to grade him but I'm still not sold on him. Some of you, *cough* Frank *cough*, are aroused by Origi but I am still not seeing why...
coaching
PIOLI 9 You win 4-0 at a place where the opponent beat an-albeit-out-of-form Chelsea last month and hadn't lost in like 22 (maybe it was 24) straight home matches, I'd say you got it right.
Pioli also FINALLY started Rebić at RW and boy did it pay off. The attack was dangerous from both sides and while not exactly clinical, just the mere threat of Rebić made Dinamo have to respect Milan's right side. The subbing was great, both in the starting selection (and accompanying tactics for a slower CB pairing) and pulling guys out to rest. Bravo, Sig. Pioli
THOUGHTS
Ok, so the two big storylines coming out of this involves something good and something bad. Let's get the bad out of the way...
The Bad...
CDK. Charles. Dude. That was UGGGG-LY. On a day when Milan was firing in attack and ends up winning 4-0 and you have arguably your worst game of the season. Yikes. I think it's safe to say he has the yips.
For those of you who don't follow or play golf, the yips happen when a player misses a few VERY short putts, something that should be routine, in a relatively short amount of time, and now trembles when over the ball on short putts and every short putt is a mental safari ripe with risk, fear, and perspiration. There's a version of this in baseball too when a fielder can't make an accurate throw to first base on routine ground balls. He sails them over the head, throws it short by 10ft, or is off 5-10ft to the right or to the left. But basically, like in golf and the short putt, every routine ground ball is an adventure. So in a nutshell: the yips are overthinking the task at hand.
There were numerous times in the first half where CDK was caught between ideas, and so in the end he ended up making the wrong decision, no decision, or the right decision too late which ended up making it the wrong decision.
The concern if CDK really does have the yips is that it's really hard to overcome. This type of thing can ruin careers. It's going to take A LOT of practice to get back to instinctively playing the game AND with smart, knowledgeable decision-making. For all of our sakes, Milan and us fans, I hope he's up to it.
The Good...
Rebić at RW to start! Yay! Pioli finally did it! Yes, I know he was partially forced into it due to injury but who cares, it's here. And I'll tell you what, this might end up being the go to, maybe in general, but at least when Milan is short on bodies. No more of this Krunić at RW nonsense, or taking Brahim out of the middle, sticking him at RW while an all-thumbs player is put in the #10 position.
Ok, so what was different with Rebić out there? As mentioned above, he was cutting in a lot, with and without the ball. Sometimes these runs, particularly without the ball, were awesome and made the defenders have to leave their dug-in position. This created movement and space within the box for others to navigate and take advantage of during the run of play. Other times however, his run crowded the box and evaporated any width Milan had particularly with Kalulu staying back. This had the opposite effect and caused congestion and left the attack without lanes to move, pass, or shoot. This will improve with Calabria back (when he returns) and having the RB up more on overlapping runs and helping to bang in crosses, while Kalulu and Tomori can protect the counter and over the top attempts by the opponent.
I think the more Rebić plays out at RW the better he'll become and the more balanced, and therefore higher scoring, Milan will be. Get him firing, along with a hot Brahim, and Leão being Leão, I think Milan will find themselves scoring 3-4 goals a game on average when they're in all there. That's no guarantee, but I wouldn't bet against it.
Next Match
Alright, Milan is flying high and have a tricky match vs Torino this weekend before taking on Salzburg in a CL match where they need at least a draw. Pioli will need to keep his men on their toes and ready since the top of the league table is so packed.
What are you guys thinking? About the match yesterday, this weekend, Salzburg, CDK, Rebić, whatever!
Forza Milan

Top 5 Spanish players:
#5 Raul Gonzalez Blanco
Prevalently known as 'El Angel de Madrid', Raul will consistently be recognized as one of the most incredible Spanish strikers ever. Raul's profession at Real Madrid was downright unbelievable as he proceeded to win 16 prizes in 16 seasons with the club.
Raul ascended in the positions of Atletico Madrid when he was only a teen yet before long moved to Real Madrid. Raul had a quick effect with Real Madrid's 'C' crew and was given their first group debut when he was only 17 years of age in 1994.

Villarreal VS Sevilla, draw is possible
Match Time: 6/23/2020 01:30 Tuesday(GMT+8)
Spanish La Liga -- Villarreal VS Sevilla
Livescore | Match Prediction & Tips| Asian Handicap Odds|Line-ups& H2H Stats
-----------------------------------
Villarreal will be looking for their fourth La Liga victory in a row when they welcome Sevilla to Estadio de la Ceramica on Monday night. The Yellow Submarine have got their season firmly back on track with three straight victories, while Sevilla, who are currently third in the table, are unbeaten in their last seven La Liga matches.
Match preview
It would be fair to say that Villarreal were struggling for form immediately before the lockdown period, suffering three straight league defeats to slide down the table. The Yellow Submarine have been in impressive form since the league's restart earlier this month, though, beating Celta Vigo, Mallorca and Granada 1-0 to pick up nine points from an available nine. The strong run of results has seen Javi Calleja's side rise into seventh position in the table, just two points off fourth-placed Atletico Madrid and five behind third-placed Sevilla at this stage. The volume of fixtures over the next couple of days means that the picture is likely to be different by the time that Villarreal take to the field for this match, although they are very much in the argument for a European spot at this stage and certainly have a squad capable of finishing the season strongly.
Sevilla, meanwhile, will enter the match off the back of a goalless draw with Barcelona on Friday night. Julen Lopetegui's side have now picked up five points from their three matches since returning to action, having also beaten Real Betis and Levante over the last nine days. Los Nervionenses have actually only lost one of their last 10 in the league, and as mentioned, currently sit third in the table, three points ahead of fourth-placed Atletico Madrid. Diego Simeone's side will have the chance to move above them on Saturday night, though, while Getafe and Real Sociedad will also be looking to make ground on Sevilla before this particular match. Lopetegui's side certainly have some winnable games in the coming weeks, but the strange set of circumstances surrounding the restart makes shock results even likelier to occur. Sevilla have also lost their last two league matches with Villarreal, while they have only beaten the Yellow Submarine in one of their last seven meetings in Spain's top flight.
Villarreal La Liga form: LLLWWW
Sevilla La Liga form: WWDWDD
Sevilla form (all competitions): DWDWDD
Team News
Villarreal will have key centre-back Pau Torres back from suspension for this match, but Ramiro Funes Mori and Ramiro Guerra are both still on the sidelines for the home side. Calleja is likely to shuffle his pack from the side that beat Granada on Friday, meaning that Samuel Chukwueze, Santi Cazorla and Mario Gaspar could earn recalls. It would not be a surprise to see Villarreal revert back to a 4-3-3 formation for this contest, with Carlos Bacca potentially dropping to the bench after starting the last two.
As for Sevilla, Lopetegui has a full squad to choose from at the moment, meaning that he has a number of decisions to make in terms of team selection, particularly in the final third. The bulk of the XI that started against Barca are expected to again take to the field for this match, although Ever Banega for Oliver Torres is a change that could happen in the middle of the park. Franco Vazquez is also pushing for a spot in the XI, but Munir El Haddadi and Lucas Ocampos are again expected to join Luuk de Jong in the final third of the field.
Villarreal possible starting lineup: Asenjo; Gaspar, Albiol, Torres, Moreno; Cazorla, Trigueros, Iborra; Moreno, Alcacer, Chukwueze
Sevilla possible starting lineup: Vaclik; Navas, Kounde, Carlos, Reguilon; Banega, Fernando, Jordan; Munir, De Jong, Ocampos
Villarreal VS Sevilla
Handicap Pick: Sevilla+0

Because United can’t keep both happy again this season. Last term was seen as each keeper’s audition for the long-term role. Neither aced it which leaves Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a choice to make. With De Gea’s status and track record, and Henderson’s ambition and ego, extending their trial periods into the new season simply is not an option. The signing of Tom Heaton suggests Solskjaer recognises that. Heaton has returned to Old Trafford to serve as first-choice stand-in. So United will have to at least try to move on one of their senior stoppers. De Gea’s salary complicates the issue. As does the fact that there is not much of a market for goalkeepers this summer. Spurs might need one if Hugo Lloris moves on with only a year remaining on his contract. Otherwise, most clubs have other priorities. It’s a conundrum for Solskjaer, but one he must solve before the window closes. No winner in De Gea v Henderson battle at Man Utd RB: Serge Aurier The Ivory Coast defender has outstayed his welcome at Spurs. Aurier has shown glimpses of quality, especially going forward, but he remains untrustworthy at the back. Ideally, Spurs would like to return Aurier to PSG and the player would be chuffed to go back too. “I’ve never hidden my desire to go back to PSG one day. It’s my boyhood club and I’m still a PSG supporter,” he said in May when reflecting on the “end of a cycle” at Spurs. But PSG are wary of giving Aurier a second chance after all the grief he caused off the field before he left the Parc des Princes in 2017. “I wanted a new life because PSG didn’t respect my true worth,” he said at the time, dousing his bridges in petrol while juggling flamethrowers. CB: Aymeric Laporte Pep could have a problem with Laporte. The Spain defender deserves to be a starting centre-back at the highest level but as it stands, Ruben Dias and John Stones are his first-choice partnership. Which wasn’t the plan when City signed Dias. The Portugal defender was bought to play alongside Laporte but injuries, a loss of form and Stones’ incredible resurgence saw Dias excel alongside the England centre-back, leaving Laporte out in the cold. As City have found, any club battling on four fronts needs at least three top-class centre-backs. But with Nathan Ake also in their ranks, there were reports that Guardiola would be willing to cash in on Laporte. The player would fancy a return to Spain too, apparently. But with the top clubs in La Liga trying to raise cash rather than spend it, Laporte may have to knuckle down at City. CB: Toby Alderwiereld Spurs are chasing a couple of centre-backs, partly with Alderweireld’s exit in mind. The Belgium defender certainly doesn’t subscribe to the theory that you should never go back… According to The Athletic, there is a desire to return to Royal Antwerp where he left aged 15, and two years ago he said going back to Ajax was “100 per cent in my head”. Both clubs would be keen on a reunion if the figures are agreeable. But with two years left on a £100,000-a-week contract at Spurs that seems fanciful. LB: Ainsley Maitland-Niles The Arsenal utility man would be fuming to find himself at left-back… “I’m a midfielder by trade, either central or on the wing… I’m not a defender,” he said in 2019. The England international doubled down on that stance earlier this year: “I want to play in the centre of the pitch because I feel comfortable there and there’s a lot of things I can bring by playing in the middle.” But we’re short of a left-back and having played there in the past for Arsenal and England, Maitland-Niles will have to embrace his versatility. As he likely will to get a decent move this summer. CM: Moussa Sissoko Tottenham have an abundance of midfielders, but they are looking for more, despite the pressing need to strengthen their defence and forward line. Sissoko is one of the players Spurs are keen to shift. The France midfielder remains very much in the thinking of Didier Deschamps but does not cross Nuno’s mind, apparently. Where next? Napoli have been mentioned but there is no clamour for a player who has been in and out of favour throughout his Spurs career. CM: Granit Xhaka The path for Xhaka seems clearer. Roma want the Switzerland star and Arsenal are only too happy to sell – as long as they get a reasonable fee. Xhaka’s performances at the European Championship will certainly strengthen the Gunners’ standpoint. Arsenal reportedly wanted around £17million, with Roma’s opening bid was around half that figure. If Xhaka can reproduce his Switzerland form on a consistent basis with a fresh start in Italy, then a compromise between the two valuations would represent fantastic value for Roma. Granit counters: Five Xhaka successors Arsenal must consider AM: Jesse Lingard We regret to inform you that Manchester United are at it again… Despite it being crystal clear that Lingard doesn’t feature in Solskjaer’s thinking, it is claimed that some at Old Trafford are considering offering the England attacker a new deal to ‘protect his value’. Did Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones die for nothing? West Ham want Lingard back and Atletico Madrid are apparently interested, which we’d like to see. But neither club are willing to cough up £30million. Unless United compromise then Lingard will go free next year. Surely he wouldn’t be daft enough to sign a new deal when he can pick his contract in a year? LW: Erik Lamela The Spurs winger should really have left Spurs the second his Rabona found the bottom corner of Arsenal’s net in the north London derby. Just run off the pitch, out of the Emirates and off into the sunset. But, typically for Lamela, he followed that moment of genius with a needless red card as Spurs succumbed to defeat. It is that infuriating inconsistency why the Argentinian has struggled to nail down a first XI place at Tottenham. He’s been there eight years; it’s not happening. Handily, Fiorentina are apparently willing to offer the 29-year-old a return to Italy. La Viola have had eventful summer...
RW: Xherdan Shaqiri Even when Liverpool’s forward line needed either freshening up or a kick up the arse, Shaqiri was generally ignored last season. Of the five Premier League starts he was begrudgingly handed, Liverpool failed to score in four. Shaqiri, like Xhaka, was far more influential at Euro 2020 with Switzerland. Three goals and an assist in five games suited Liverpool as they look to claw their money back on the winger signed from Stoke for £13million in 2018. Lazio’s opening bid of around £10.2million was knocked back, but it seems likely there will be a compromise by the time Shaqiri returns to training at the back end of next week. CF: Tammy Abraham Thomas Tuchel could not have made it any clearer that he doesn’t rate the Chelsea centre-forward. He didn’t appear to particularly rate any of the Chelsea centre-forwards, hence why the Blues are going hard for Erling Haaland. It helps that Roman Abramovich lusts after the Borussia Dortmund striker too, and the best time to ask for anything as a coach is when you’ve just delivered the Champions League. Chelsea, apparently, have tried to chuck Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi into their Haaland offer as makeweights but Dortmund, understandably, have turned their noses up at a bit of cash and their former manager’s deadwood. Abraham will have options in England too, with West Ham linked most heavily, but Chelsea may have to reduce their valuation on a striker they clearly don’t want. Read the full article
