My brother @garrettpich and I ventured to Old Stratcona to sample an original mini cheese tart from @pablo_cheese_tart_edmonton . It has a delicious cheese cake like centre with an unusual dense crust. • The sweet and gooey dessert was developed in the early 2010s by pastry chef Masamitsu Sakimoto. The uber-popular Japanese chain Pablo Cheese Tart opened its third Canadian bakery here in Edmonton on April 24. Pablo’s currently offers signature freshly baked cheese tarts out of two other Canadian locations in Hamilton and Toronto, Ontario.
